Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: |

And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: |
et ils se levèrent devant Moïse, avec deux cent cinquante hommes des fils d'Israël, princes de l'assemblée, [hommes] appelés au conseil, des hommes de renom. |

and they rose up against Moses, with two hundred and fifty men of the children of Israel, princes of the assembly, summoned to the council, men of renown; |
y se levantaron contra Moisés con doscientos cincuenta varones de los hijos de Israel, príncipes de la congregación, de los del consejo, varones de renombre. |

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord? |
Et ils s'attroupèrent contre Moïse et contre Aaron, et leur dirent : C'en est assez ! car toute l'assemblée, eux tous sont saints, et l'Éternel est au milieu d'eux ; et pourquoi vous élevez-vous au-dessus de la congrégation de l'Éternel ? |

and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, It is enough; for all the assembly, all of them are holy, and Jehovah is among them; and why do ye lift up yourselves above the congregation of Jehovah? |
Y se juntaron contra Moisés y Aarón y les dijeron: ¡Basta ya de vosotros! Porque toda la congregación, todos ellos son santos, y en medio de ellos está Jehová; ¿por qué, pues, os levantáis vosotros sobre la congregación de Jehová? |

And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face: |
Et Moïse l'entendit, et tomba sur sa face ; |

And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the Lord will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him. |
et il parla à Coré et à toute son assemblée, disant : Demain, l'Éternel fera connaître qui est à lui, et qui est saint, et il le fera approcher de lui ; et celui qu'il a choisi, il le fera approcher de lui. |

And he spoke to Korah and to all his band, saying, Even to-morrow will Jehovah make known who is his, and who is holy; and he will cause him to come near to him; and him whom he has chosen, him will he cause to come near to him. |
y habló a Coré y a todo su séquito, diciendo: Mañana mostrará Jehová quién es suyo, y quién es santo, y hará que se acerque a él; al que él escogiere, él lo acercará a sí. |

And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the Lord to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi. |
et demain, mettez-y du feu et placez de l'encens dessus, devant l'Éternel ; et il arrivera que l'homme que l'Éternel aura choisi, celui-là sera saint. C'en est assez, fils de Lévi ! |

and put fire therein, and lay incense thereon before Jehovah to-morrow; and it shall be that the man whom Jehovah doth choose, he shall be holy. It is enough, ye sons of Levi! |
y poned fuego en ellos, y poned en ellos incienso delante de Jehová mañana; y el varón a quien Jehová escogiere, aquel será el santo; esto os baste, hijos de Leví. |

And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi: |

Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? |
Est-ce peu de chose pour vous que le Dieu d'Israël vous ait séparés de l'assemblée d'Israël, en vous faisant approcher de lui pour faire le service du tabernacle de l'Éternel, et pour vous tenir devant l'assemblée afin de la servir, |

Is it too little for you, that the God of Israel has separated you from the assembly of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the work of the tabernacle of Jehovah, and to stand before the assembly to minister to them? |
¿Os es poco que el Dios de Israel os haya apartado de la congregación de Israel, acercándoos a él para que ministréis en el servicio del tabernáculo de Jehová, y estéis delante de la congregación para ministrarles, |

And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also? |
— qu'il t'ait fait approcher, toi et tous tes frères, les fils de Lévi, avec toi,… que vous recherchiez aussi la sacrificature ? |

--that he has brought thee near, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee; and seek ye now the priesthood also? |
y que te hizo acercar a ti, y a todos tus hermanos los hijos de Leví contigo? ¿Procuráis también el sacerdocio? |

For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the Lord: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him? |
C'est pourquoi, toi et toute ton assemblée, vous vous êtes rassemblés contre l'Éternel ; et Aaron, qui est-il, que vous murmuriez contre lui ? |

For which cause thou and all thy band are banded together against Jehovah; and Aaron, who is he that ye murmur against him? |
Por tanto, tú y todo tu séquito sois los que os juntáis contra Jehová; pues Aarón, ¿qué es, para que contra él murmuréis? |

And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up: |
Et Moïse envoya appeler Dathan et Abiram, fils d'Éliab ; mais ils dirent : Nous ne monterons pas. |

Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us? |
Est-ce peu de chose que tu nous aies fait monter hors d'un pays ruisselant de lait et de miel, pour nous faire mourir dans le désert, que tu te fasses absolument dominateur sur nous ? |

Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that thou must make thyself altogether a ruler over us? |
¿Es poco que nos hayas hecho venir de una tierra que destila leche y miel, para hacernos morir en el desierto, sino que también te enseñorees de nosotros imperiosamente? |

Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up. |
Certes tu ne nous as pas introduits dans un pays ruisselant de lait et de miel, et tu ne nous as pas donné un héritage de champs et de vignes ! Veux-tu crever les yeux de ces gens ? Nous ne monterons pas. |

And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them. |
Et Moïse entra dans une ardente colère, et il dit à l'Éternel : N'aie pas égard à leur offrande ; je n'ai pas pris d'eux même un âne, et je n'ai pas fait tort à un seul d'entre eux. |

Then Moses was very wroth, and said to Jehovah, Have no regard to their oblation: not one ass have I taken from them, neither have I hurt one of them. |
Entonces Moisés se enojó en gran manera, y dijo a Jehová: No mires a su ofrenda; ni aun un asno he tomado de ellos, ni a ninguno de ellos he hecho mal. |

And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the Lord, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow: |
Et Moïse dit à Coré : Toi, et toute ton assemblée, soyez demain devant l'Éternel, toi et eux, et Aaron. |

And Moses said to Korah, Be thou and all thy band before Jehovah, thou, and they, and Aaron, to-morrow. |
Después dijo Moisés a Coré: Tú y todo tu séquito, poneos mañana delante de Jehová; tú, y ellos, y Aarón; |

And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the Lord every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer. |
Et prenez chacun votre encensoir, et mettez de l'encens dessus ; et présentez devant l'Éternel chacun votre encensoir, deux cent cinquante encensoirs ; et toi, et Aaron, chacun son encensoir. |

And take each his censer, and put incense thereon, and present before Jehovah every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; and thou, and Aaron, each his censer. |
y tomad cada uno su incensario y poned incienso en ellos, y acercaos delante de Jehová cada uno con su incensario, doscientos cincuenta incensarios; tú también, y Aarón, cada uno con su incensario. |

And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron. |
Et ils prirent chacun son encensoir, et y mirent du feu, et placèrent de l'encens dessus, et se tinrent à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, avec Moïse et Aaron. |

And they took each his censer, and put fire on them, and laid incense thereon, and stood before the entrance to the tent of meeting, as well as Moses and Aaron. |
Y tomó cada uno su incensario, y pusieron en ellos fuego, y echaron en ellos incienso, y se pusieron a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión con Moisés y Aarón. |

And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation. |
Et Coré réunit contre eux toute l'assemblée à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation ; et la gloire de l'Éternel apparut à toute l'assemblée. |

And Korah gathered the whole assembly against them to the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the glory of Jehovah appeared to all the assembly. |
Ya Coré había hecho juntar contra ellos toda la congregación a la puerta del tabernáculo de reunión; entonces la gloria de Jehová apareció a toda la congregación. |

And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, |
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant : |

And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, |
Y Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo: |

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. |
Séparez-vous du milieu de cette assemblée, et je les consumerai en un moment. |

Separate yourselves from the midst of this assembly, and I will consume them in a moment. |
Apartaos de entre esta congregación, y los consumiré en un momento. |
| 22 |
And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? |
Et ils tombèrent sur leurs faces, et dirent : Ô ∗Dieu ! Dieu des esprits de toute chair ! un seul homme péchera, et tu seras courroucé contre toute l'assemblée ? |

And they fell on their faces, and said, O *God, the God of the spirits of all flesh! shall *one* man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with the whole assembly? |
Y ellos se postraron sobre sus rostros, y dijeron: Dios, Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, ¿no es un solo hombre el que pecó? ¿Por qué airarte contra toda la congregación? |

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, disant : |

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, |

Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. |
Parle à l'assemblée, en disant : Retirez-vous d'autour de la demeureb de Coré, de Dathan et d'Abiram. |

Speak unto the assembly, saying, Get you up from about the habitation of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. |
Habla a la congregación y diles: Apartaos de en derredor de la tienda de Coré, Datán y Abiram. |

And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. |
Et Moïse se leva et alla vers Dathan et Abiram ; et les anciens d'Israël allèrent après lui. |

And Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. |
Entonces Moisés se levantó y fue a Datán y a Abiram, y los ancianos de Israel fueron en pos de él. |

And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. |
Et il parla à l'assemblée, disant : Éloignez-vous, je vous prie, d'auprès des tentes de ces méchants hommes, et ne touchez à rien qui leur appartienne, de peur que vous ne périssiez dans tous leurs péchés. |

And he spoke to the assembly, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye perish in all their sins. |
Y él habló a la congregación, diciendo: Apartaos ahora de las tiendas de estos hombres impíos, y no toquéis ninguna cosa suya, para que no perezcáis en todos sus pecados. |

So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. |
Et ils se retirèrent d'auprès de la demeure de Coré, de Dathan et d'Abiram, tout à l'entour. Et Dathan et Abiram sortirent, et se tinrent à l'entrée de leurs tentes avec leurs femmes, et leurs fils, et leurs petits enfants. |

And they got up from the habitation of Koran, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. And Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the entrance of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little ones. |
Y se apartaron de las tiendas de Coré, de Datán y de Abiram en derredor; y Datán y Abiram salieron y se pusieron a las puertas de sus tiendas, con sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus pequeñuelos. |

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. |
Et Moïse dit : À ceci vous connaîtrez que l'Éternel m'a envoyé pour faire toutes ces œuvres, car elles ne sont pas sorties de mon cœur : |

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that Jehovah has sent me to do all these deeds, for they are not out of my own heart: |
Y dijo Moisés: En esto conoceréis que Jehová me ha enviado para que hiciese todas estas cosas, y que no las hice de mi propia voluntad. |

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. |
si ceux-là meurent selon la mort de tout homme, et s'ils sont visités de la visitation de tout homme, l'Éternel ne m'a pas envoyé ; |

if these men die as all men die, and are visited with the visitation of all men, Jehovah has not sent me; |
Si como mueren todos los hombres murieren estos, o si ellos al ser visitados siguen la suerte de todos los hombres, Jehová no me envió. |
| 30 |
But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. |
mais si l'Éternel crée une chose nouvelle, et que le sol ouvre sa bouche et les engloutisse avec tout ce qui est à eux, et qu'ils descendent vivants dans le shéolc, alors vous saurez que ces hommes ont méprisé l'Éternel. |

but if Jehovah make a new thing, and the ground open its mouth, and swallow them up, and all that they have, and they go down alive into Sheol, then ye shall know that these men have despised Jehovah. |
Mas si Jehová hiciere algo nuevo, y la tierra abriere su boca y los tragare con todas sus cosas, y descendieren vivos al Seol, entonces conoceréis que estos hombres irritaron a Jehová. |

And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: |
Et il arriva, comme il achevait de prononcer toutes ces paroles, que le sol qui était sous eux se fendit ; |

And it came to pass when he had ended speaking all these words, that the ground clave apart that was under them. |
Y aconteció que cuando cesó él de hablar todas estas palabras, se abrió la tierra que estaba debajo de ellos. |
| 32 |
And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. |
et la terre ouvrit sa bouche, et les engloutit, [eux] et leurs maisons, et tous les hommes qui étaient à Coré, et tout leur avoir. |
|
And the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men that belonged to Korah, and all their property. |
Abrió la tierra su boca, y los tragó a ellos, a sus casas, a todos los hombres de Coré, y a todos sus bienes. |
| 33 |
They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. |
Et ils descendirent vivants dans le shéol, eux et tout ce qui était à eux ; et la terre les couvrit, et ils périrent du milieu de la congrégation. |

And they went down, they and all that they had, alive into Sheol, and the earth covered them; and they perished from among the congregation. |
Y ellos, con todo lo que tenían, descendieron vivos al Seol, y los cubrió la tierra, y perecieron de en medio de la congregación. |

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. |
Et tout Israël qui était autour d'eux s'enfuit à leur cri ; car ils disaient : … De peur que la terre ne nous engloutisse ! |

And there came out a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense. |
Et il sortit du feu de la part de l'Éternel, et il consuma les deux cent cinquante hommes qui présentaient l'encens. |

And there came out a fire from Jehovah, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that had presented incense. |
También salió fuego de delante de Jehová, y consumió a los doscientos cincuenta hombres que ofrecían el incienso. |

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, |

Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed. |
Dis à Éléazar, fils d'Aaron, le sacrificateur, qu'il relève les encensoirs du milieu de l'incendie, et répands-en le feu au loin, car ils sont sanctifiés, — |

Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning; and scatter the fire afar; for they are hallowed, |
Di a Eleazar hijo del sacerdote Aarón, que tome los incensarios de en medio del incendio, y derrame más allá el fuego; porque son santificados |

The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the Lord, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel. |
les encensoirs de ceux-là qui ont péché contre leurs propres âmes ; et on en fera des lames aplaties pour en plaquer l'autel ; car ils les ont présentés devant l'Éternel, et ils sont sanctifiés ; et ils seront un signe aux fils d'Israël. |

the censers of these sinners who have forfeited their life; and they shall make them into broad plates for the covering of the altar; for they presented them before Jehovah, therefore they are hallowed; and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel. |
los incensarios de estos que pecaron contra sus almas; y harán de ellos planchas batidas para cubrir el altar; por cuanto ofrecieron con ellos delante de Jehová, son santificados, y serán como señal a los hijos de Israel. |

And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar: |
Et Éléazar, le sacrificateur, prit les encensoirs d'airain qu'avaient présentés les [hommes] qui furent brûlés, et on les aplatit pour plaquer l'autel, |

And Eleazar the priest took the copper censers, which they that were burnt had presented; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar: |
Y el sacerdote Eleazar tomó los incensarios de bronce con que los quemados habían ofrecido; y los batieron para cubrir el altar, |

To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the Lord; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the Lord said to him by the hand of Moses. |
en mémorial pour les fils d'Israël, afin qu'aucun étranger qui n'est pas de la semence d'Aaron ne s'approche pour brûlerd l'encens devant l'Éternel, et ne soit comme Coré et son assemblée, — selon que l'Éternel luie avait parlé par Moïse. |

as a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger who is not of the seed of Aaron come near to burn incense before Jehovah, that he be not as Korah, and as his band, --as Jehovah had said to him through Moses. |
en recuerdo para los hijos de Israel, de que ningún extraño que no sea de la descendencia de Aarón se acerque para ofrecer incienso delante de Jehová, para que no sea como Coré y como su séquito; según se lo dijo Jehová por medio de Moisés. |

But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord. |
Et le lendemain, toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël murmura contre Moïse et contre Aaron, disant : Vous avez mis à mort le peuple de l'Éternel. |

And the whole assembly of the children of Israel murmured on the morrow against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of Jehovah. |
El día siguiente, toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel murmuró contra Moisés y Aarón, diciendo: Vosotros habéis dado muerte al pueblo de Jehová. |

And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. |
Et il arriva, comme l'assemblée se réunissait contre Moïse et contre Aaron, qu'ils regardèrent vers la tente d'assignation, et voici, la nuée la couvrit, et la gloire de l'Éternel apparut. |

And it came to pass, when the assembly was gathered together against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tent of meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of Jehovah appeared. |
Y aconteció que cuando se juntó la congregación contra Moisés y Aarón, miraron hacia el tabernáculo de reunión, y he aquí la nube lo había cubierto, y apareció la gloria de Jehová. |

And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. |
Et Moïse et Aaron vinrent devant la tente d'assignation. |

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |

Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. |

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun. |
Et Moïse dit à Aaron : Prends l'encensoir, et mets-y du feu de dessus l'autel, et mets-y de l'encens, et porte-le promptement vers l'assemblée, et fais propitiation pour eux ; car la colère est sortie de devant l'Éternel, la plaie a commencé. |

And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. |
