1	And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.	☆ Et le Cananéen, le roi d'Arad, qui habitait le midia, entendit qu'Israël venait par le chemin d'Atharimb, et il combattit contre Israël, et lui emmena des prisonniers.	And the Canaanite king of Arad, who dwelt in the south, heard that Israel came by the way of Atharim, and he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.	Cuando el cananeo, el rey de Arad, que habitaba en el Neguev, oyó que venía Israela por el camino de Atarim, peleó contra Israel, y tomó de él prisioneros.
2	And Israel vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.	Et Israël fit un vœu à l'Éternel, et dit : Si tu livres ce peuple en ma main, je détruirai entièrement ses villes.	Then Israel vowed a vow to Jehovah, and said, If thou give this people wholly into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.	Entonces Israel hizo voto a Jehová, y dijo: Si en efecto entregares este pueblo en mi mano, yo destruiré sus ciudades.
3	And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.	Et l'Éternel entendit la voix d'Israël, et [lui] livra les Cananéens ; et il les détruisit entièrement, ainsi que leurs villes. Et on appela le nom de ce lieu Hormac.	And Jehovah listened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them, and their cities. And they called the name of the place Hormah.	Y Jehová escuchó la voz de Israel, y entregó al cananeo, y los destruyó a ellos y a sus ciudades; y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Horma.b
4	And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.	Et ils partirent de la montagne de Hor, par le chemin de la mer Rouge, pour faire le tour du pays d'Édom, et le cœur du peuple se découragead en chemin.	And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to go round the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became impatient on the way;	Después partieron del monte de Hor, camino del Mar Rojo, para rodear la tierra de Edom;c y se desanimó el pueblo por el camino.
5	And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.	Et le peuple parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse : Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour mourir dans le désert ? car il n'y a pas de pain, et il n'y a pas d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de ce pain misérable.	and the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Why have ye brought us up out of Egypt that we should die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, and no water, and our soul loathes this light bread.	Y habló el pueblo contra Dios y contra Moisés: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para que muramos en este desierto? Pues no hay pan ni agua, y nuestra alma tiene fastidio de este pan tan liviano.
6	And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.	Et l'Éternel envoya parmi le peuple les serpents brûlants, et ils mordaient le peuple ; et, de ceux d'Israël, il mourut un grand peuple.	Then Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people, which bit the people; and much people of Israel died.	Y Jehová envió entre el pueblo serpientes ardientes, que mordían al pueblo; y murió mucho pueblo de Israel.
7	Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.	Et le peuple vint à Moïse, et dit : Nous avons péché, car nous avons parlé contre l'Éternel et contre toi ; prie l'Éternel qu'il retire de dessus nous les serpents. Et Moïse pria pour le peuple.	And the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, in that we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee: pray to Jehovah that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.	Entonces el pueblo vino a Moisés y dijo: Hemos pecado por haber hablado contra Jehová, y contra ti; ruega a Jehová que quite de nosotros estas serpientes. Y Moisés oró por el pueblo.
8	And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.	Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Fais-toi un [serpent] brûlant, et mets-le sur une perche ; et il arrivera que quiconque sera mordu, et le regarderae, vivra.	And Jehovah said to Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent , and set it upon a pole; and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, and looketh upon it, shall live.	Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Hazte una serpiente ardiente, y ponla sobre un asta; y cualquiera que fuere mordido y mirare a ella, vivirá.
9	And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.	Et Moïse fit un serpent d'airain, et le mit sur une perche ; et il arrivait que, lorsqu'un serpent avait mordu un homme, et qu'il regardait le serpent d'airain, il vivait.	And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole; and it came to pass, if a serpent had bitten any man, and he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.	Y Moisés hizo una serpiente de bronce, y la puso sobre un asta;d y cuando alguna serpiente mordía a alguno, miraba a la serpiente de bronce, y vivía.
10	And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.	Et les fils d'Israël partirent, et campèrent à Oboth.	And the children of Israel journeyed, and encamped in Oboth.	Después partieron los hijos de Israel y acamparon en Obot.
11	And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ije–abarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.	Et ils partirent d'Oboth, et campèrent à Ijim-Abarimf, dans le désert qui est vis-à-vis de Moab, vers le soleil levant.	And they removed from Oboth, and encamped at Ijim-Abarim, in the wilderness that is before Moab, toward the sun-rising.	Y partiendo de Obot, acamparon en Ije-abarim, en el desierto que está enfrente de Moab, al nacimiento del sol.
12	From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.	De là ils partirent, et campèrent dans la valléeg de Zéred.	From thence they removed, and encamped at the torrent Zered.	Partieron de allí, y acamparon en el valle de Zered.
13	From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.	De là ils partirent, et campèrent de l'autre côté de l'Arnon, qui est dans le désert, sortant des limites des Amoréens ; car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab, entre Moab et l'Amoréen.	From thence they removed, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that comes out of the border of the Amorites. For the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.	De allí partieron, y acamparon al otro lado de Arnón, que está en el desierto, y que sale del territorio del amorreo; porque Arnón es límite de Moab, entre Moab y el amorreo.
14	Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the Lord, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,	C'est pourquoi il est dit dans le livre des guerres de l'Éternel : Vaheb en Supha, et les rivièresh de l'Arnon ;	Therefore it is said in the book of the wars of Jehovah, Vaheb in Suphah, and the brooks of Arnon;	Por tanto se dice en el libro de las batallas de Jehová: Lo que hizo en el Mar Rojo, Y en los arroyos de Arnón;
15	And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.	Et le cours des rivièresh, qui tend vers l'habitation d'Ar, Et qui s'appuie sur la frontière de Moab.	And the stream of the brooks which turneth to the dwelling of Ar, And inclineth toward the border of Moab.	Y a la corriente de los arroyos Que va a parar en Ar, Y descansa en el límite de Moab.
16	And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the Lord spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.	Et de là [ils vinrent] à Beëri. C'est là le puits au sujet duquel l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Assemble le peuple, et je leur donnerai de l'eau.	And from thence to Beer: that is the well of which Jehovah spoke to Moses, Assemble the people, and I will give them water.	De allí vinieron a Beer:e este es el pozo del cual Jehová dijo a Moisés: Reúne al pueblo, y les daré agua.
17	Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:	Alors Israël chanta ce cantique : Monte, puits ! Chantez-lui :	Then Israel sang this song, Rise up, well! sing unto it:	Entonces, cantó Israel este cántico: Sube, oh pozo; a él cantad;
18	The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:	Puits, que des princes ont creusé, que les hommes nobles du peuple, avec le législateurj, ont creusé avec leurs bâtons !	Well which princes digged, which the nobles of the people hollowed out at the word of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah;	Pozo, el cual cavaron los señores. Lo cavaron los príncipes del pueblo, Y el legislador, con sus báculos. Del desierto vinieron a Matana,
19	And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:	Et du désert, [ils vinrent] à Matthana ; et de Matthana, à Nakhaliel ;	and from Mattanah to Nahaliel; and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;	y de Matana a Nahaliel, y de Nahaliel a Bamot;
20	And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.	et de Nakhaliel, à Bamoth ; et de Bamoth, à la vallée qui est dans les champs de Moab, au sommet du Pisga, qui se montre au-dessus de la surface du désert. k	and from Bamoth to the valley that is in the fields of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looks over the surface of the waste.	y de Bamot al valle que está en los campos de Moab, y a la cumbre de Pisga, que mira hacia el desierto.
21	And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,	Et Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, disant :	And Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,	Entonces envió Israel embajadores a Sehón rey de los amorreos, diciendo:
22	Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders.	Je passerai par ton pays : nous ne nous détournerons pas dans les champs, ni dans les vignes ; nous ne boirons pas de l'eau des puits ; nous marcherons par le chemin du roi, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons passé tes limites.	Let us pass through thy land; we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink water out of the wells; on the king's road will we go until we have passed thy border.	Pasaré por tu tierra; no nos iremos por los sembrados, ni por las viñas; no beberemos las aguas de los pozos; por el camino real iremos, hasta que pasemos tu territorio.
23	And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.	Mais Sihon ne permit pas à Israël de passer par ses limites ; et Sihon rassembla tout son peuple, et sortit à la rencontre d'Israël, au désert, et vint à Jahats et combattit contre Israël.	But Sihon would not suffer Israel to go through his border; and Sihon gathered all his people, and went out against Israel into the wilderness, and came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.	Mas Sehón no dejó pasar a Israel por su territorio, sino que juntó Sehón todo su pueblo y salió contra Israel en el desierto, y vino a Jahaza y peleó contra Israel.
24	And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.	Et Israël le frappa par le tranchant de l'épée, et prit possession de son pays depuis l'Arnon jusqu'au Jabbok, jusqu'aux fils d'Ammon ; car la frontière des fils d'Ammon était forte.	And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon; for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.	Y lo hirió Israel a filo de espada, y tomó su tierra desde Arnón hasta Jaboc, hasta los hijos de Amón; porque la frontera de los hijos de Amón era fuerte.
25	And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.	Et Israël prit toutes ces villes, et Israël habita dans toutes les villes des Amoréens, à Hesbon et dans tous les villages de son ressortl.	And Israel took all these cities, and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, at Heshbon, and in all its dependent villages.	Y tomó Israel todas estas ciudades, y habitó Israel en todas las ciudades del amorreo, en Hesbón y en todas sus aldeas.
26	For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.	Car Hesbon était la ville de Sihon, roi des Amoréens ; et il avait fait la guerre au précédent roi de Moab, et avait pris de sa main tout son pays jusqu'à l'Arnon.	For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites; and he had fought against the former king of Moab, and had taken all his land out of his hand, even unto the Arnon.	Porque Hesbón era la ciudad de Sehón rey de los amorreos, el cual había tenido guerra antes con el rey de Moab, y tomado de su poder toda su tierra hasta Arnón.
27	Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:	C'est pourquoi les poètes disent : Venez à Hesbon ; que la ville de Sihon soit bâtie et établie ;	Therefore the poets say, Come to Heshbon; let the city of Sihon be built and established.	Por tanto dicen los proverbistas: Venid a Hesbón, Edifíquese y repárese la ciudad de Sehón.
28	For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.	Car un feu est sorti de Hesbon, une flamme, de la cité de Sihon ; il a dévoré Ar de Moab, les seigneurs des hauts lieuxm de l'Arnon.	For there went forth fire from Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon; It consumed Ar of Moab, the lords of the high places of the Arnon.	Porque fuego salió de Hesbón, Y llama de la ciudad de Sehón, Y consumió a Ar de Moab, A los señores de las alturas de Arnón.
29	Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.	Malheur à toi, Moab ! tu es perdu, peuple de Kemosh ! Il a livré ses fils qui avaient échappé, et ses filles, à la captivité, à Sihon, roi des Amoréens.	Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, people of Chemosh: He gave his sons that had escaped, and his daughters into captivity to Sihon the king of the Amorites.	¡Ay de ti, Moab! Pereciste, pueblo de Quemos. Fueron puestos sus hijos en huida, Y sus hijas en cautividad, Por Sehón rey de los amorreos.
30	We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.	Nous avons tiré contre eux ; Hesbon est périe jusqu'à Dibon ; et nous avons dévasté jusqu'à Nophakh,… avec du feu jusqu'à Médeba.	And we have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon; and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.	Mas devastamos el reino de ellos; Pereció Hesbón hasta Dibón, Y destruimos hasta Nofa y Medeba.
31	Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.	Et Israël habita dans le pays des Amoréens.	And Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.	Así habitó Israel en la tierra del amorreo.
32	And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.	Et Moïse envoya pour explorer Jahzer ; et ils prirent les villages de son ressortn, et en dépossédèrent les Amoréens qui y étaient.	And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took its dependent villages, and he dispossessed the Amorites that were there.	También envió Moisés a reconocer a Jazer; y tomaron sus aldeas, y echaron al amorreo que estaba allí.
33	And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.	Puis ils se tournèrent et montèrent par le chemin de Basan ; et Og, le roi de Basan, sortit à leur rencontre, lui et tout son peuple, à Édréhi, pour livrer bataille.	And they turned and went up by the way to Bashan; and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he and all his people, for battle to Edrei.	Y volvieron, y subieron camino de Basán; y salió contra ellos Og rey de Basán, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Edrei.
34	And the Lord said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.	Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Ne le crains pas, car je l'ai livré en ta main, lui et tout son peuple, et son pays ; et tu lui feras comme tu as fait à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon.	And Jehovah said to Moses, Fear him not! for into thy hand have I given him, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.	Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: No le tengas miedo, porque en tu mano lo he entregado, a él y a todo su pueblo, y a su tierra; y harás de él como hiciste de Sehón rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón.
35	So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.	Et ils le frappèrent, lui et ses fils, et tout son peuple, jusqu'à ne pas lui laisser un réchappé ; et ils prirent possession de son pays.	And they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, so that they left him none remaining, and took possession of his land.	E hirieron a él y a sus hijos, y a toda su gente, sin que le quedara uno, y se apoderaron de su tierra.
