The word that Jehovah spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, through Jeremiah the prophet. |
Palabra que habló Jehová contra Babilonia,a contra la tierra de los caldeos, por medio del profeta Jeremías. |

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. |
Annoncez parmi les nations, et faites-le entendre, et élevez l'étendard ; faites-le entendre, ne le cachez pas ; dites : Babylone est prise, Bel est honteux ; Merodac est brisé ; ses idoles sont honteuses, ses images sont brisées. |

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and lift up a banner; publish, conceal not! Say, Babylon is taken, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is dismayed: her images are put to shame, her idols are dismayed. |
Anunciad en las naciones, y haced saber; levantad también bandera, publicad, y no encubráis; decid: Tomada es Babilonia, Bel es confundido, deshecho es Merodac; destruidas son sus esculturas, quebrados son sus ídolos. |

For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. |
Car une nation est montée du nord contre elle ; elle a mis en désolation son pays, et il n'y aura plus là d'habitant : tant les hommes que les bêtes se sont enfuis, ils s'en sont allés. |

Porque subió contra ella una nación del norte, la cual pondrá su tierra en asolamiento, y no habrá ni hombre ni animal que en ella more; huyeron, y se fueron. |

In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the Lord their God. |
En ces jours-là et en ce temps-là, dit l'Éternel, les fils d'Israël viendront, eux et les fils de Juda ensemble ; ils iront, marchant et pleurant, et ils chercheront l'Éternel leur Dieu. |

In those days, and at that time, saith Jehovah, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping as they go, and shall seek Jehovah their God. |
En aquellos días y en aquel tiempo, dice Jehová, vendrán los hijos de Israel, ellos y los hijos de Judá juntamente; e irán andando y llorando, y buscarán a Jehová su Dios. |

They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. |
Ils s'enquerront de Sion ; vers elle leur face [sera tournée] : Venez, attachons-nous à l'Éternel par une alliance éternelle qui ne sera pas oubliée. |

They shall inquire concerning Zion, with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to Jehovah, in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten. |
Preguntarán por el camino de Sion, hacia donde volverán sus rostros, diciendo: Venid, y juntémonos a Jehová con pacto eterno que jamás se ponga en olvido. |

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. |
Mon peuple est un troupeau perdu ; leurs pasteurs les ont fait errer, les égarant sur les montagnes ; ils sont allés de montagne en colline, ils ont oublié leur gîte. |

My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they turned them away on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place. |
Ovejas perdidas fueron mi pueblo; sus pastores las hicieron errar, por los montes las descarriaron; anduvieron de monte en collado, y se olvidaron de sus rediles. |

All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord, the habitation of justice, even the Lord, the hope of their fathers. |
Tous ceux qui les ont trouvés les ont dévorés ; et leurs ennemis disent : Nous ne sommes pas coupables, parce qu'ils ont péché contre l'Éternel, contre la demeure de la justice, contre l'Éternel, l'attente de leurs pères. |

All that found them devoured them, and their adversaries said, We are not guilty, because they have sinned against Jehovah, the habitation of righteousness, even Jehovah, the hope of their fathers. |
Todos los que los hallaban, los devoraban; y decían sus enemigos: No pecaremos, porque ellos pecaron contra Jehová morada de justicia, contra Jehová esperanza de sus padres. |

Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. |
Fuyez du milieu de Babylone, et sortez du pays des Chaldéens, et soyez comme les boucs [qui vont] devant le troupeau. |

For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. |
Car voici, du pays du nord je réveillerai et je ferai monter contre Babylone un rassemblement de grandes nations qui se rangeront contre elle : de là elle sera prise. Leurs flèches sont comme celles d'un habile homme fort ; pas une ne reviendra à vide. |

For behold, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon, an assemblage of great nations from the north country; and they shall set themselves in array against her: from thence shall she be taken. Their arrows shall be as those of a mighty expert man: none shall return empty. |
Porque yo levanto y hago subir contra Babilonia reunión de grandes pueblos de la tierra del norte; desde allí se prepararán contra ella, y será tomada; sus flechas son como de valiente diestro, que no volverá vacío. |

And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord. |
Et la Chaldée sera un butin ; tous ceux qui la pilleront seront rassasiés, dit l'Éternel ; |

Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls; |
parce que vous vous êtes réjouis, parce que vous vous êtes égayés, vous qui avez pillé mon héritage, parce que vous avez bondi comme une génisse qui foule le bléa, et que vous avez henni comme de puissants chevaux. |

For ye rejoiced, for ye triumphed, ye plunderers of my heritage; for ye have been wanton as the heifer at grass, and neighed as steeds. |
Porque os alegrasteis, porque os gozasteis destruyendo mi heredad, porque os llenasteis como novilla sobre la hierba, y relinchasteis como caballos. |

Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. |
Votre mère est fort honteuse, celle qui vous enfanta est couverte d'opprobre : voici, [elle est] la dernière des nations, un désert, un pays stérile et une solitude ! |

Your mother hath been sorely put to shame; she that bore you hath been covered with reproach: behold, she is become hindmost of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. |
Vuestra madre se avergonzó mucho, se afrentó la que os dio a luz; he aquí será la última de las naciones; desierto, sequedal y páramo. |

Because of the wrath of the Lord it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues. |
À cause du courroux de l'Éternel elle ne sera pas habitée, elle sera tout entière une désolation ; quiconque passera près de Babylone sera étonné et sifflera à cause de toutes ses plaies. |

Because of the wrath of Jehovah, it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate; every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and shall hiss, because of all her plagues. |
Por la ira de Jehová no será habitada, sino será asolada toda ella; todo hombre que pasare por Babilonia se asombrará, y se burlará de sus calamidades. |

Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the Lord. |
Rangez-vous en bataille contre Babylone, tout alentour, vous tous qui bandez l'arc ; tirez contre elle, n'épargnez pas les flèches, car elle a péché contre l'Éternel. |

Poneos en orden contra Babilonia alrededor, todos los que entesáis arco; tirad contra ella, no escatiméis las saetas, porque pecó contra Jehová. |

Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the Lord: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. |
Poussez des cris contre elle tout alentour ! Elle s'est rendueb, ses remparts sont tombés, ses murailles sont renversées, car c'est ici la vengeance de l'Éternel. Vengez-vous sur elle, faites-lui comme elle a fait ! |

Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand; her ramparts are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for this is the vengeance of Jehovah. Take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. |
Gritad contra ella en derredor; se rindió; han caído sus cimientos, derribados son sus muros, porque es venganza de Jehová. Tomad venganza de ella; haced con ella como ella hizo. |

Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land. |
Retranchez de Babylone celui qui sème, et celui qui tient la faucille au temps de la moisson. À cause de l'épée qui ravage, qu'ils s'en retournent chacun vers son peuple, et qu'ils fuient chacun vers son pays. |

Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. |
Israël est une brebis chassée çà et là ; les lions l'ont pourchassée. Le roi d'Assyrie, le premier, l'a dévorée ; et celui-ci, le dernier, Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, lui a brisé les os. |

Israel is a hunted sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria devoured him, and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. |
Rebaño descarriado es Israel; leones lo dispersaron; el rey de Asiria lo devoró primero, Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia lo deshuesó después. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : Voici, je visite le roi de Babylone et son pays, comme j'ai visité le roi d'Assyrie ; |

Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will visit the king of Babylon and his land, like as I have visited the king of Assyria. |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Yo castigo al rey de Babilonia y a su tierra, como castigué al rey de Asiria. |

And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead. |
et je ferai revenir Israël à ses pâturages ; et il paîtra sur le Carmel et en Basan, et son âme sera rassasiée dans la montagne d'Éphraïm et en Galaad. |

And I will bring Israel again to his pasture, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and in Gilead. |
Y volveré a traer a Israel a su morada, y pacerá en el Carmelo y en Basán; y en el monte de Efraín y en Galaad se saciará su alma. |

In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve. |
En ces jours-là et en ce temps-là, dit l'Éternel, on cherchera l'iniquité d'Israël, et il n'y en aura point, et les péchés de Juda, et ils ne seront pas trouvés ; car je pardonnerai à ceux que j'aurai fait demeurer de reste. |

En aquellos días y en aquel tiempo, dice Jehová, la maldad de Israel será buscada, y no aparecerá; y los pecados de Judá, y no se hallarán; porque perdonaré a los que yo hubiere dejado. |

Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the Lord, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. |
Monte contre le pays doublement rebelle, contre lui et contre les habitants destinés à la visitationc ; dévaste et détruis entièrement derrière eux, dit l'Éternel, et fais selon tout ce que je t'ai commandé. |

Go up against the land of double rebellion, against it, and against the inhabitants of visitation; waste and utterly destroy after them, saith Jehovah, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. |

Comment est mis en pièces et brisé le marteau de toute la terre ! Comment Babylone est-elle réduite en désolationd parmi les nations ! |

I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the Lord. |
Je t'ai tendu un piège, et aussi tu es prise, Babylone ! et tu ne le savais pas ; tu as été trouvée, et tu as aussi été saisie, parce que tu as combattu contre l'Éternel. |

The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. |
L'Éternel a ouvert son trésor, et il en a fait sortir les armes de son indignation ; car c'est ici l'œuvre du Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, dans le pays des Chaldéens. |

The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lord our God, the vengeance of his temple. |
La voix de ceux qui fuient, qui sont réchappés du pays de Babylone, pour annoncer dans Sion la vengeance de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, la vengeance de son temple ! |

Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel. |
Convoquez des archers contre Babylone, tous ceux qui bandent l'arc ! Campez contre elle tout alentour, qu'elle n'ait pas de réchappés ; rendez-lui selon son œuvre, faites-lui selon tout ce qu'elle a fait ; car elle a été fière contre l'Éternel, contre le Saint d'Israël. |

Call together the archers against Babylon, all those that bend the bow: encamp against her round about; let there be no escaping: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath acted proudly against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel. |
Haced juntar contra Babilonia flecheros, a todos los que entesan arco; acampad contra ella alrededor; no escape de ella ninguno; pagadle según su obra;e conforme a todo lo que ella hizo, haced con ella; porque contra Jehová se ensoberbeció, contra el Santo de Israel. |

Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord. |

Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. |
Voici, [j'en veux] à toi, orgueilleusee, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées ; car ton jour est venu, le temps où je te visite. |

And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him. |
Et l'orgueilleusee a bronché et est tombée, et il n'y a personne qui la relève ; et j'allumerai dans ses villes un feu qui dévorera tous ses alentours. |

and the proud one shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up; yea, I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all that are round about him. |
Y el soberbio tropezará y caerá, y no tendrá quien lo levante; y encenderé fuego en sus ciudades, y quemaré todos sus alrededores. |

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées : Les fils d'Israël et les fils de Juda ont été ensemble opprimés ; et tous ceux qui les emmenèrent captifs les ont retenus, ils ont refusé de les laisser aller. |

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The children of Israel and the children of Judah were together oppressed; and all that took them captives held them fast: they refused to let them go. |
Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Oprimidos fueron los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Judá juntamente; y todos los que los tomaron cautivos los retuvieron; no los quisieron soltar. |

Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon. |
Leur rédempteur est fort. Son nom est l'Éternel des armées ; il prendra certainement en main leur cause, afin de donner du repos au pays et de troubler les habitants de Babylone. |

Their Redeemer is strong; Jehovah of hosts is his name: he will thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon. |
El redentor de ellos es el Fuerte; Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre; de cierto abogará la causa de ellos para hacer reposar la tierra, y turbar a los moradores de Babilonia. |

A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men. |

l'épée est sur ses chevaux, et sur ses chars, et sur tout le peuple mélangé qui est au milieu d'elle, et ils seront comme des femmes ; l'épée est sur ses trésors, et ils seront pillés ; |

la sécheresse est sur ses eaux, et elles tarissent ; car c'est un pays d'images taillées, et ils sont fous de leurs affreuses idoles. |

Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. |
C'est pourquoi les bêtes du désert, avec des chacals, y habiteront, et il y habitera des autruches ; et elle ne sera plus jamais habitée, et on n'y demeurera plus, de génération en génération. |

Therefore wild beasts of the desert with jackals shall dwell there, and ostriches shall dwell therein; and it shall be no more inhabited for ever, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. |

As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein. |
Comme dans la subversion que Dieu a faite de Sodome et de Gomorrhe et des villes voisinesf, dit l'Éternel, personne n'y habitera et aucun fils d'homme n'y séjournera. |

They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. |
Ils saisissent l'arc et le javelot ; ils sont cruels, et ils n'ont pas de compassion ; leur voix bruit comme la mer, et ils sont montés sur des chevaux, préparés comme un homme pour la guerre, contre toi, fille de Babylone. |

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? |
Voici, comme un lion il monte de la crue du Jourdain contre la demeure forte ; car je les en chasserai précipitammentg. Et qui est l'homme choisi, que je préposerai sur elle ? Car qui est comme moi, et qui m'assignera le temps, et qui sera le pasteur qui se tiendra devant moi ? |

Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them. |
C'est pourquoi, écoutez le conseil de l'Éternel, qu'il a formé contre Babylone, et les pensées qu'il a pensées contre le pays des Chaldéens : Si les petits du troupeau ne les entraînent ! S'il ne rend désolée pour eux [leur] habitation !… |

Therefore hear the counsel of Jehovah, which he hath taken against Babylon, and his purposes which he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: The little ones of the flock shall certainly draw them away; he shall certainly make their habitation desolate for them. |
Por tanto, oíd la determinación que Jehová ha acordado contra Babilonia, y los pensamientos que ha formado contra la tierra de los caldeos: Ciertamente a los más pequeños de su rebaño los arrastrarán, y destruirán sus moradas con ellos. |
