Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying, |

Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; |

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. |
Crie vers moi, et je te répondrai, et je te déclarerai des choses grandes et cachées que tu ne sais pas. |

For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant les maisons de cette ville et touchant les maisons des rois de Juda, qui sont renversées à cause des terrasses et à cause de l'épée : |

For thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down because of the mounds and because of the sword: |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel acerca de las casas de esta ciudad, y de las casas de los reyes de Judá, derribadas con arietes y con hachas |

They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. |
Ils s'en vont pour combattre contre les Chaldéens, pour remplir les [maisons] des cadavres des hommes que j'ai frappés dans ma colère et dans ma fureur, et à cause de toute l'iniquité desquels j'ai caché ma face de cette ville. |

They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but to fill them with the dead bodies of the men whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. |
(porque vinieron para pelear contra los caldeos, para llenarlas de cuerpos de hombres muertos, a los cuales herí yo con mi furor y con mi ira, pues escondí mi rostro de esta ciudad a causa de toda su maldad): |

Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. |
Voici, je lui appliquerai un appareil de pansement, et des remèdes, et je les guérirai, et leur révélerai une abondance de paix et de vérité ; |

Behold, I will apply a healing dressing to it and cure, and I will heal them, and will reveal unto them an abundance of peace and truth. |
He aquí que yo les traeré sanidad y medicina; y los curaré, y les revelaré abundancia de paz y de verdad. |

And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. |
et je rétablirai les captifs de Juda et les captifs d'Israël, et je les bâtirai comme au commencement ; |

And I will turn the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel, and will build them, as at the beginning. |
Y haré volver los cautivos de Judá y los cautivos de Israel, y los restableceré como al principio. |

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. |
et je les purifierai de toute leur iniquité [par] laquelle ils ont péché contre moi, et je pardonnerai toutes leurs iniquités [par] lesquelles ils ont péché contre moi et [par] lesquelles ils se sont rebellés contre moi. |

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me, and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against me, and whereby they have transgressed against me. |
Y los limpiaré de toda su maldad con que pecaron contra mí; y perdonaré todos sus pecados con que contra mí pecaron, y con que contra mí se rebelaron. |

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. |
Et ce sera pour moi un nom d'allégresse, une louange et un ornement parmi toutes les nations de la terre, qui apprendront toute la bonté dont j'ai usé envers eux ; et ils craindront et trembleront à cause de tout le bien et à cause de toute la prospérité dont je les ferai jouira. |

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear of all the good that I do unto them; and they shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. |
Y me será a mí por nombre de gozo, de alabanza y de gloria, entre todas las naciones de la tierra, que habrán oído todo el bien que yo les hago; y temerán y temblarán de todo el bien y de toda la paz que yo les haré. |

Thus saith the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Dans ce lieu-ci dont vous dites : C'est un désert où il n'y a pas d'homme et où il n'y a pas de bête, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, qui sont désolées, où il n'y a pas d'homme, et où il n'y a pas d'habitant, et où il n'y a pas de bête, |

Thus saith Jehovah: In this place of which ye say, It is waste, without man and without beast! in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, |
Así ha dicho Jehová: En este lugar, del cual decís que está desierto sin hombres y sin animales, en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén, que están asoladas, sin hombre y sin morador y sin animal, |

The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord. |
on entendra encore la voix de l'allégresse et la voix de la joie, la voix de l'époux et la voix de l'épouse, la voix de ceux qui disent : Célébrez l'Éternel des armées, car l'Éternel est bon, car sa bonté [demeure] à toujours, — des gens qui apportent des actions de grâces à la maison de l'Éternel. Car je délivrerai le pays de sa captivité, et je le rétablirai comme il était au commencementb, dit l'Éternel. |

there shall again be heard the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Give ye thanks unto Jehovah of hosts; for Jehovah is good, for his loving-kindness endureth for ever, --of them that bring thanksgiving unto the house of Jehovah. For I will turn the captivity of the land as in the beginning, saith Jehovah. |
ha de oírse aún voz de gozo y de alegría, voz de desposado y voz de desposada, voz de los que digan: Alabad a Jehová de los ejércitos, porque Jehová es bueno, porque para siempre es su misericordia;a voz de los que traigan ofrendas de acción de gracias a la casa de Jehová. Porque volveré a traer los cautivos de la tierra como al principio, ha dicho Jehová. |

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées : Dans ce lieu qui est désert, où il n'y a ni homme ni bête, et dans toutes ses villes, il y aura encore une demeure de bergers qui y feront reposer leur menu bétail ; |

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In this place which is waste, without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, there shall again be a habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. |
Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: En este lugar desierto, sin hombre y sin animal, y en todas sus ciudades, aún habrá cabañas de pastores que hagan pastar sus ganados. |

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the Lord. |
dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes du pays plat, et dans les villes du midi, et dans le pays de Benjamin, et dans les environs de Jérusalem, et dans les villes de Juda, le menu bétail passera encore sous les mains de celui qui le compte, dit l'Éternel. |

In the cities of the hill-country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the environs of Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that counteth them , saith Jehovah. |
En las ciudades de las montañas, en las ciudades de la Sefela, en las ciudades del Neguev, en la tierra de Benjamín, y alrededor de Jerusalén y en las ciudades de Judá, aún pasarán ganados por las manos del que los cuente, ha dicho Jehová. |

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. |
Voici, des jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où j'accomplirai la bonne parole que j'ai dite à la maison d'Israël et à la maison de Juda. |

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will perform the good word which I have spoken unto the house of Israel and unto the house of Judah. |
He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que yo confirmaré la buena palabra que he hablado a la casa de Israel y a la casa de Judá. |

In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. |
En ces jours-là, et en ce temps-là, je ferai germer à David un Germe de justice, et il exercera le jugement et la justice dans le pays. |

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness. |
En ces jours-là Juda sera sauvé, et Jérusalem demeurera en sécurité ; et voici comment on l'appellera : L'Éternel notre justice. |

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name wherewith she shall be called: Jehovah our Righteousness. |
En aquellos días Judá será salvo, y Jerusalén habitará segura, y se le llamará: Jehová, justicia nuestra.b |

For thus saith the Lord; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel : David ne manquera pas d'un homme assis sur le trône de la maison d'Israël ; |

For thus saith Jehovah: There shall never fail to David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová: No faltará a David varón que se siente sobre el trono de la casa de Israel.c |
| 18 |
Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. |
et les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, ne manqueront pas, devant moi, d'un homme offrant des holocaustes, et faisant fumer des offrandes de gâteau, et faisant des sacrifices, tous les jours. |

neither shall there fail to the priests the Levites a man before me to offer up burnt-offerings, and to burn oblations, and to do sacrifice continually. |
Ni a los sacerdotes y levitas faltará varón que delante de mí ofrezca holocausto y encienda ofrenda, y que haga sacrificio todos los días.d |

And the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, saying, |

Thus saith the Lord; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Quand vous romprez mon alliance touchant le jour, et mon alliance touchant la nuit, de sorte qu'il n'y ait pas de jour et de nuit en leur temps, |

Thus saith Jehovah: If ye can break my covenant in respect of the day, and my covenant in respect of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season, |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Si pudiereis invalidar mi pacto con el día y mi pacto con la noche, de tal manera que no haya día ni noche a su tiempo, |

Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. |
alors aussi mon alliance avec David, mon serviteur, sera rompue, de sorte qu'il n'ait pas de fils régnant sur son trône, — et avec les Lévites, les sacrificateurs, qui me servent. |

then shall also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites, the priests, my ministers. |
podrá también invalidarse mi pacto con mi siervo David, para que deje de tener hijo que reine sobre su trono, y mi pacto con los levitas y sacerdotes, mis ministros. |

As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. |
Comme l'armée des cieux ne peut se nombrer, ni le sable de la mer se mesurer, ainsi je multiplierai la semence de David, mon serviteur, et les Lévites qui me servent. |

As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. |
Como no puede ser contado el ejército del cielo, ni la arena del mar se puede medir, así multiplicaré la descendencia de David mi siervo, y los levitas que me sirven. |

Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying, |

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the Lord hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. |
N'as-tu pas vu ce que ce peuple a dit, disant : Les deux familles que l'Éternel avait choisies, il les a aussi rejetées ? … Et ils ont méprisé mon peuple de manière à ce que, devant eux, il ne soit plus une nation. |

Hast thou not seen what this people have spoken, saying, The two families that Jehovah had chosen, he hath even cast them off? And they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. |
¿No has echado de ver lo que habla este pueblo, diciendo: Dos familias que Jehová escogiera ha desechado? Y han tenido en poco a mi pueblo, hasta no tenerlo más por nación. |

Thus saith the Lord; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Si mon alliance touchant le jour et la nuit ne [demeure] pas, si je n'ai pas établi les ordonnances des cieux et de la terre, |

Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of the heavens and the earth, |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Si no permanece mi pacto con el día y la noche, si yo no he puesto las leyes del cielo y la tierra, |

Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them. |
alors aussi je rejetterai la semence de Jacob et de David, mon serviteur, pour ne pas prendre de sa semence ceux qui domineront sur la semence d'Abraham, d'Isaac et de Jacob, car je rétablirai leurs captifs, et j'aurai compassion d'eux. |

then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so as not to take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will turn their captivity, and will have mercy on them. |
también desecharé la descendencia de Jacob, y de David mi siervo, para no tomar de su descendencia quien sea señor sobre la posteridad de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob. Porque haré volver sus cautivos, y tendré de ellos misericordia. |
