Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah. |
Et il arriva, au septième mois,a qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, fils d'Élishama, de la semence royale et [l'un] d'entre les grands du roi, et dix hommes avec lui, vinrent vers Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam, à Mitspa ; et ils mangèrent là du pain ensemble à Mitspa. |

And it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the royal seed, and one of the king's chief men, and ten men with him, came to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam unto Mizpah, and there they ate bread together, in Mizpah. |
Aconteció en el mes séptimo que vino Ismael hijo de Netanías, hijo de Elisama, de la descendencia real, y algunos príncipes del rey y diez hombres con él, a Gedalías hijo de Ahicam en Mizpa; y comieron pan juntos allí en Mizpa. |

Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land. |
Et Ismaël, fils de Nethania, se leva, et les dix hommes qui étaient avec lui, et ils frappèrent avec l'épée Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam, fils de Shaphan : et il le fit mourir, lui que le roi de Babylone avait établi sur le pays. |

And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah arose, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and killed him, whom the king of Babylon had appointed over the land. |
Y se levantó Ismael hijo de Netanías y los diez hombres que con él estaban, e hirieron a espada a Gedalías hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán, matando así a aquel a quien el rey de Babilonia había puesto para gobernar la tierra. |

Ishmael also slew all the Jews that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were found there, and the men of war. |
Et Ismaël frappa tous les Juifs qui étaient avec Guedaliab à Mitspa, et les Chaldéens qui se trouvaient là, les hommes de guerre. |

And Ishmael smote all the Jews that were with him, with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were found there, the men of war. |
Asimismo mató Ismael a todos los judíos que estaban con Gedalías en Mizpa, y a los soldados caldeos que allí estaban.a |

And it came to pass the second day after he had slain Gedaliah, and no man knew it, |

That there came certain from Shechem, from Shiloh, and from Samaria, even fourscore men, having their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut themselves, with offerings and incense in their hand, to bring them to the house of the Lord. |
que des hommes vinrent de Sichem, de Silo et de Samarie, quatre-vingts hommes, la barbe rasée et les vêtements déchirés, et qui s'étaient fait des incisions, et avaient dans leur main une offrande et de l'encens, pour les porter dans la maison de l'Éternel. |

And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam. |
Et Ismaël, fils de Nethania, sortit de Mitspa à leur rencontre, s'en allant et pleurant ; et il arriva que, lorsqu'il les eut atteints, il leur dit : Venez vers Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam ! |

And it was so, when they came into the midst of the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah slew them, and cast them into the midst of the pit, he, and the men that were with him. |
Et il arriva que, quand ils furent entrés jusqu'au milieu de la ville, Ismaël, fils de Nethania (lui et les hommes qui étaient avec lui), les égorgea [et les jeta] au milieu d'une fosse. |

And it was so, when they came into the midst of the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, he and the men that were with him, slew them, and cast them into the midst of the pit. |
Y cuando llegaron dentro de la ciudad, Ismael hijo de Netanías los degolló, y los echó dentro de una cisterna, él y los hombres que con él estaban. |

But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren. |
Et il se trouva parmi eux dix hommes qui dirent à Ismaël : Ne nous fais pas mourir, car nous avons des choses cachées dans la campagne, du froment, et de l'orge, et de l'huile, et du miel. Et il s'abstint, et ne les fit pas mourir parmi leurs frères. |

But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Do not kill us, for we have hidden stores in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbore, and did not kill them among their brethren. |
Mas entre aquellos fueron hallados diez hombres que dijeron a Ismael: No nos mates; porque tenemos en el campo tesoros de trigos y cebadas y aceites y miel. Y los dejó, y no los mató entre sus hermanos. |

Now the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was it which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with them that were slain. |
Et la fosse où Ismaël jeta tous les cadavres des hommes qu'il tua à côté dec Guedalia est celle que le roi Asa avait faite à cause de Baësha, roi d'Israël ; c'est celle-là qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, remplit de gens tués. |

And the pit into which Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men whom he had slain by the side of Gedaliah was the one which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with the slain. |
Y la cisterna en que echó Ismael todos los cuerpos de los hombres que mató a causa de Gedalías, era la misma que había hecho el rey Asa a causa de Baasa rey de Israel; Ismael hijo de Netanías la llenó de muertos. |

Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king’s daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzar–adan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites. |
Et Ismaël emmena captif tout le reste du peuple qui était à Mitspa, les filles du roi, et tous ceux du peuple qui étaient demeurés de reste à Mitspa, que Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, avait commis à Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam : Ismaël, fils de Nethania, les emmena captifs, et s'en alla pour passer vers les fils d'Ammon. |

And Ishmael carried away captive all the remnant of the people that were in Mizpah, the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the children of Ammon. |
Después llevó Ismael cautivo a todo el resto del pueblo que estaba en Mizpa, a las hijas del rey y a todo el pueblo que en Mizpa había quedado, el cual había encargado Nabuzaradán capitán de la guardia a Gedalías hijo de Ahicam. Los llevó, pues, cautivos Ismael hijo de Netanías, y se fue para pasarse a los hijos de Amón. |

But when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done, |
Et Jokhanan, fils de Karéakh, et tous les chefs des forces qui étaient avec lui, apprirent tout le mal qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, avait fait ; |

And Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done; |
Y oyeron Johanán hijo de Carea y todos los príncipes de la gente de guerra que estaban con él, todo el mal que había hecho Ismael hijo de Netanías. |

Then they took all the men, and went to fight with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and found him by the great waters that are in Gibeon. |
et ils prirent tous leurs hommes et s'en allèrent pour combattre contre Ismaël, fils de Nethania ; et ils le trouvèrent près des grandes eaux qui sont à Gabaon. |

and they took all the men, and went to fight with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and found him by the great waters that are at Gibeon. |
Entonces tomaron a todos los hombres y fueron a pelear contra Ismael hijo de Netanías, y lo hallaron junto al gran estanque que está en Gabaón. |

Now it came to pass, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad. |
Et il arriva que, lorsque tout le peuple qui était avec Ismaël vit Jokhanan, fils de Karéakh, et tous les chefs des forces qui étaient avec lui, ils se réjouirent ; |

And it came to pass when all the people that were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad. |
Y aconteció que cuando todo el pueblo que estaba con Ismael vio a Johanán hijo de Carea y a todos los capitanes de la gente de guerra que estaban con él, se alegraron. |

So all the people that Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah cast about and returned, and went unto Johanan the son of Kareah. |
et tout le peuple qu'Ismaël avait emmené captif de Mitspa fit volte-face, et s'en retourna, et s'en alla vers Jokhanan, fils de Karéakh. |

Et Ismaël, fils de Nethania, échappa avec huit hommes, de devant Jokhanan, et s'en alla vers les fils d'Ammon. |

Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon: |
Et Jokhanan, fils de Karéakh, et tous les chefs des forces qui étaient avec lui, prirent tout le reste du peuple qu'ils avaient ramené d'avec Ismaël, fils de Nethania, venant de Mitspa, après qu'il eut frappé Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam : les vaillants hommes de guerre, et les femmes, et les petits enfants, et les eunuques, qu'ils avaient ramenés de Gabaon ; |

Then Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, took all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon; |
Y Johanán hijo de Carea y todos los capitanes de la gente de guerra que con él estaban tomaron a todo el resto del pueblo que había recobrado de Ismael hijo de Netanías, a quienes llevó de Mizpa después que mató a Gedalías hijo de Ahicam; hombres de guerra, mujeres, niños y eunucos, que Johanán había traído de Gabaón; |

And they departed, and dwelt in the habitation of Chimham, which is by Beth–lehem, to go to enter into Egypt, |

Because of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. |
pour se retirer en Égypte, à cause des Chaldéens ; car ils les craignaient, parce qu'Ismaël, fils de Nethania, avait frappé Guedalia, fils d'Akhikam, que le roi de Babylone avait établi sur le pays. |

because of the Chaldeans; for they feared them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had smitten Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon had appointed over the land. |
