Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up. |
Juda mène deuil, et ses portes défaillent ; elles sont en deuil, par terre ; et le cri de Jérusalem est monté. |

And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads. |
Et ses nobles ont envoyé à l'eau lesa petits ; ils sont allés aux citernes, ils n'ont pas trouvé d'eau ; ils sont revenus, leurs vases vides ; ils ont eu honte, ils ont été confus, et ils ont couvert leur tête. |

And their nobles send their little ones for water: they come to the pits, they find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are ashamed, they are confounded, and have covered their heads. |
Los nobles enviaron sus criados al agua; vinieron a las lagunas, y no hallaron agua; volvieron con sus vasijas vacías; se avergonzaron, se confundieron, y cubrieron sus cabezas. |

Because the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads. |
Parce que la terre est crevassée, parce qu'il n'y a point eu de pluie dans le pays, les cultivateurs sont honteux, ils ont couvert leur tête ; |

Porque se resquebrajó la tierra por no haber llovido en el país, están confusos los labradores, cubrieron sus cabezas. |

Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass. |
car aussi la biche a mis bas dans les champs, et a abandonné [son faon], parce qu'il n'y a point d'herbe verte ; |

For the hind also calveth in the field, and forsaketh its young , because there is no grass. |
Aun las ciervas en los campos parían y dejaban la cría, porque no había hierba. |

And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass. |
et les ânes sauvages se sont tenus sur les hauteurs, ils ont humé l'air comme des chacals ; leurs yeux se sont consumés parce qu'il n'y a point d'herbe. |

And the wild asses stand on the heights, they snuff up the wind like jackals; their eyes fail, because there is no herbage. |
Y los asnos monteses se ponían en las alturas, aspiraban el viento como chacales; sus ojos se ofuscaron porque no había hierba. |

O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. |
Éternel ! si nos iniquités rendent témoignage contre nous, agis à cause de ton nom ; car nos infidélités sont multipliées, nous avons péché contre toi. |

Aunque nuestras iniquidades testifican contra nosotros, oh Jehová, actúa por amor de tu nombre; porque nuestras rebeliones se han multiplicado, contra ti hemos pecado. |

O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? |
Attente d'Israël, celui qui le sauve au temps de la détresse ! pourquoi serais-tu comme un étranger dans le pays, comme un voyageur qui se détourne pour passer la nuit ? |

Thou hope of Israel, its Saviour in the time of trouble, why wilt thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a traveller that turneth aside to stay a night? |
Oh esperanza de Israel, Guardador suyo en el tiempo de la aflicción, ¿por qué te has hecho como forastero en la tierra, y como caminante que se retira para pasar la noche? |

Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O Lord, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not. |
Pourquoi serais-tu comme un homme stupéfait, comme un homme fort qui ne peut sauver ? Toutefois tu es au milieu de nous, ô Éternel, et nous sommes appelés de ton nom ; ne nous délaisse pas ! |

Why wilt thou be as a man astonished, as a mighty man that cannot save? Yet thou, Jehovah, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name: leave us not. |
¿Por qué eres como hombre atónito, y como valiente que no puede librar? Sin embargo, tú estás entre nosotros, oh Jehová, y sobre nosotros es invocado tu nombre; no nos desampares. |

Thus saith the Lord unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the Lord doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel à ce peuple : C'est ainsi qu'ils ont aimé à aller çà et là, ils n'ont pas retenu leurs pieds ; et l'Éternel ne prend point plaisir en eux : maintenant il se souviendra de leurs iniquités et il visitera leurs péchés. |

Thus saith Jehovah to this people: Even so have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet; and Jehovah hath no delight in them: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. |
Así ha dicho Jehová acerca de este pueblo: Se deleitaron en vagar, y no dieron reposo a sus pies; por tanto, Jehová no se agrada de ellos; se acordará ahora de su maldad, y castigará sus pecados. |

Then said the Lord unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. |
Et l'Éternel me dit : Ne prie pas pour ce peuple pour leur bien. |

And Jehovah said unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. |
Me dijo Jehová: No ruegues por este pueblo para bien. |

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. |
S'ils jeûnent, je n'écouterai pas leur cri, et s'ils offrent un holocauste et une offrande de gâteau, je ne les agréerai pas ; car je les consumerai par l'épée, et par la famine, et par la peste. |

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer up burnt-offering and oblation, I will not accept them: for I will consume them by sword, and by famine, and by pestilence. |
Cuando ayunen, yo no oiré su clamor, y cuando ofrezcan holocausto y ofrenda no lo aceptaré, sino que los consumiré con espada, con hambre y con pestilencia. |

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. |
Et je dis : Ah, Seigneur Éternel ! voici, les prophètes leur disent : Vous ne verrez pas l'épée, et la famine ne viendrab pas sur vous ; car je vous donnerai une vraie paix en ce lieu-ci. |

And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; for I will give you assured peace in this place. |
Y yo dije: ¡Ah! ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! He aquí que los profetas les dicen: No veréis espada, ni habrá hambre entre vosotros, sino que en este lugar os daré paz verdadera. |

Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. |
Et l'Éternel me dit : Les prophètes prophétisent le mensonge en mon nom ; je ne les ai pas envoyés, et je ne leur ai pas commandé, et je ne leur ai pas parlé ; ils vous prophétisent une vision de mensonge, et la divination, et la vanité, et la tromperie de leur cœur. |

And Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy falsehood in my name; I have not sent them, neither have I commanded them, nor spoken unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. |
Me dijo entonces Jehová: Falsamente profetizan los profetas en mi nombre; no los envié, ni les mandé, ni les hablé; visión mentirosa, adivinación, vanidad y engaño de su corazón os profetizan. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel au sujet des prophètes qui prophétisent en mon nom, et que je n'ai point envoyés, et qui disent : L'épée et la famine ne seront pas dans ce pays : Ces prophètes-là seront consumés par l'épée et par la famine. |

Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, and who say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and by famine shall those prophets be consumed; |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová sobre los profetas que profetizan en mi nombre, los cuales yo no envié, y que dicen: Ni espada ni hambre habrá en esta tierra; con espada y con hambre serán consumidos esos profetas. |

And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them. |
Et le peuple auquel ils prophétisent sera jeté dans les rues de Jérusalem à cause de la famine et de l'épée, et il n'y aura personne pour les enterrer, eux, leurs femmes, et leurs fils, et leurs filles ; et je verserai sur eux leur iniquité. |

and the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, because of the famine and the sword; and there shall be none to bury them, them, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters; and I will pour their wickedness upon them. |
Y el pueblo a quien profetizan será echado en las calles de Jerusalén por hambre y por espada, y no habrá quien los entierre a ellos, a sus mujeres, a sus hijos y a sus hijas; y sobre ellos derramaré su maldad. |

Therefore thou shalt say this word unto them; Let mine eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow. |
Et tu leur diras cette parole : Que mes yeux se fondent en larmes, nuit et jour, et qu'ilsc ne cessent pas, car la vierge, fille de mon peuple, est ruinée d'une grande ruine, d'un coup très-douloureux. |

And thou shalt say this word unto them: Let mine eyes run down with tears, night and day, and not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow. |
Les dirás, pues, esta palabra: Derramen mis ojos lágrimas noche y día, y no cesen; porque de gran quebrantamiento es quebrantada la virgen hija de mi pueblo, de plaga muy dolorosa. |

If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not. |
Si je sors aux champs, voici des gens tués par l'épée, et si j'entre dans la ville, voici des gens alanguis par la faim ; car prophète et sacrificateur s'en iront dans un pays qu'ils ne connaissent pasd. |

If I go forth into the field, behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, behold them that pine away with famine! For both prophet and priest shall go about into a land that they know not. |
Si salgo al campo, he aquí muertos a espada; y si entro en la ciudad, he aquí enfermos de hambre; porque tanto el profeta como el sacerdote anduvieron vagando en la tierra, y no entendieron. |

Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble! |
Aurais-tu entièrement rejeté Juda ? Ton âme serait-elle dégoûtée de Sion ? Pourquoi nous as-tu frappés sans qu'il y ait de guérison pour nous ? On attendait la paix, et il n'y a rien de bon, — et le temps de la guérison, et voici l'épouvante. |

--Hast thou then utterly rejected Judah? Doth thy soul loathe Zion? Why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? Peace is looked for, and there is no good, --and a time of healing, and behold terror! |
¿Has desechado enteramente a Judá? ¿Ha aborrecido tu alma a Sion? ¿Por qué nos hiciste herir sin que haya remedio? Esperamos paz, y no hubo bien; tiempo de curación, y he aquí turbación. |

We acknowledge, O Lord, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. |
Nous reconnaissons, ô Éternel ! notre méchanceté, l'iniquité de nos pères ; car nous avons péché contre toi. |

Do not abhor us, for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us. |
À cause de ton nom, ne [nous] dédaigne point, n'avilis pas le trône de ta gloire ; souviens-toi, ne romps pas ton alliance avec nous. |

Por amor de tu nombre no nos deseches, ni deshonres tu glorioso trono; acuérdate, no invalides tu pacto con nosotros. |

Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O Lord our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things. |
Parmi les vanités des nations, en est-il qui donnent la pluie ? ou les cieux donnent-ils des ondées ? N'est-ce pas toie, Éternel ! notre Dieu ? Et nous nous attendons à toi ; car c'est toi qui as fait toutes ces choses. |

Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? Art not thou HE, Jehovah, our God? And we wait upon thee; for thou hast made all these things. |
¿Hay entre los ídolos de las naciones quien haga llover? ¿y darán los cielos lluvias? ¿No eres tú, Jehová, nuestro Dios? En ti, pues, esperamos, pues tú hiciste todas estas cosas. |
