The word which came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying, |

Palabra de Jehová que vino a Jeremías, cuando el rey Sedequías envió a él a Pasur hijo de Malquías y al sacerdote Sofonías hijo de Maasías, para que le dijesen: |

Enquire, I pray thee, of the Lord for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that the Lord will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us. |
Consulte, je te prie, l'Éternel à notre égard, car Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, nous fait la guerre ; peut-être que l'Éternel agira pour nous selon toutes ses merveilles et que [Nebucadretsar] montera d'auprès de nous. |

Inquire, I pray thee, of Jehovah for us; for Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon maketh war against us; if so be that Jehovah will deal with us according to all his marvellous works, that he may go up from us. |
Consulta ahora acerca de nosotros a Jehová, porque Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia hace guerra contra nosotros;a quizá Jehová hará con nosotros según todas sus maravillas, y aquel se irá de sobre nosotros. |

Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah: |

Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Voici, je retourne en arrière les instruments de guerre qui sont en vos mains, avec lesquels vous combattez en dehors des murailles contre le roi de Babylone et contre les Chaldéens qui vous assiègent, et je les rassemblerai au dedans de cette ville. |

Thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans who besiege you, outside the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city. |
Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: He aquí yo vuelvo atrás las armas de guerra que están en vuestras manos, con que vosotros peleáis contra el rey de Babilonia; y a los caldeos que están fuera de la muralla y os tienen sitiados, yo los reuniré en medio de esta ciudad. |

And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath. |
Et moi je combattrai contre vous avec une main étendue, et avec un bras puissant, et avec colère, et avec fureur, et avec un grand courroux ; |

Pelearé contra vosotros con mano alzada y con brazo fuerte, con furor y enojo e ira grande. |

And I will smite the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence. |
et je frapperai les habitants de cette ville, et les hommes et les bêtes ; ils mourront d'une grande peste. |

Y heriré a los moradores de esta ciudad, y los hombres y las bestias morirán de pestilencia grande. |

And afterward, saith the Lord, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy. |
Et après cela, dit l'Éternel, je livrerai Sédécias, roi de Juda, et ses serviteurs, et le peuple, savoir ceux qui, dans cette ville, seront demeurés de reste de la peste, de l'épée et de la famine, en la main de Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, et en la main de leurs ennemis, et en la main de ceux qui cherchent leur vie ; et il les frappera au tranchant de l'épée ; il ne les épargnera pas, et n'en aura pas compassion et n'en aura pas pitié. |

Después, dice Jehová, entregaré a Sedequías rey de Judá, a sus criados, al pueblo y a los que queden de la pestilencia, de la espada y del hambre en la ciudad, en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, en mano de sus enemigos y de los que buscan sus vidas, y él los herirá a filo de espada; no los perdonará, ni tendrá compasión de ellos, ni tendrá de ellos misericordia. |

And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. |
Et tu diras à ce peuple : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Voici, je mets devant vous le chemin de la vie et le chemin de la mort. |

And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. |
Y a este pueblo dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí pongo delante de vosotros camino de vida y camino de muerte. |

He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth out, and falleth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey. |
Celui qui demeurera dans cette ville mourra par l'épée, et par la famine, et par la peste ; et celui qui en sortira et se rendra aux Chaldéens qui vous assiègent vivra et aura sa vie pour butin. |

He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he that goeth out, and deserteth to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey. |
El que quedare en esta ciudad morirá a espada, de hambre o de pestilencia; mas el que saliere y se pasare a los caldeos que os tienen sitiados, vivirá, y su vida le será por despojo. |

For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the Lord: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. |
Car j'ai mis ma face contre cette ville, pour le mal et non pour le bien, dit l'Éternel ; elle sera livrée en la main du roi de Babylone, et il la brûlera par le feu. |

Porque mi rostro he puesto contra esta ciudad para mal, y no para bien, dice Jehová; en mano del rey de Babilonia será entregada, y la quemará a fuego. |

And touching the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear ye the word of the Lord; |
Et quant à la maison du roi de Juda, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel. |

And touching the house of the king of Judah, hear ye the word of Jehovah. |
Y a la casa del rey de Judá dirás: Oíd palabra de Jehová: |

O house of David, thus saith the Lord; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. |
Maison de David, ainsi dit l'Éternel : Jugez justement, le matin, et délivrez de la main de l'oppresseur celui qui est pillé, de peur que ma fureur ne sorte comme un feu et ne brûle, sans qu'il y ait personne pour l'éteindre, à cause de l'iniquité de vos actions. |

House of David, thus saith Jehovah: Judge with justice in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go forth like fire and burn, and there be none to quench it, because of the evil of your doings. |
Casa de David, así dijo Jehová: Haced de mañana juicio, y librad al oprimido de mano del opresor, para que mi ira no salga como fuego, y se encienda y no haya quien lo apague, por la maldad de vuestras obras. |

Behold, I am against thee, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, saith the Lord; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations? |
Voici, je suis contre toi, qui habites la vallée, le rocher de la plainea, dit l'Éternel ; [contre] vous qui dites : Qui descendra contre nous, et qui viendra dans nos habitations ? |

Behold, I am against thee, inhabitress of the valley, the rock of the plain, saith Jehovah; ye that say, Who shall come down against us, or who shall enter into our dwellings? |
He aquí yo estoy contra ti, moradora del valle, y de la piedra de la llanura, dice Jehová; los que decís: ¿Quién subirá contra nosotros, y quién entrará en nuestras moradas? |

But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, saith the Lord: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it. |
Et je vous punirai selon le fruit de vos actions, dit l'Éternel ; et j'allumerai un feu dans sa forêt, et il consumera tout ce qui est autour d'elle. |

And I will visit you according to the fruit of your doings, saith Jehovah; and I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it shall devour all that is round about her. |
Yo os castigaré conforme al fruto de vuestras obras, dice Jehová, y haré encender fuego en su bosque, y consumirá todo lo que está alrededor de él. |
