And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah. |
☆ Et le roi Sédécias, fils de Josias, régna à la place de Conia, fils de Jehoïakim : Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, l'avait établi roi sur le pays de Juda. |

But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the Lord, which he spake by the prophet Jeremiah. |
Et il n'écouta point, ni lui, ni ses serviteurs, ni le peuple du pays, les paroles de l'Éternel qu'il avait dites par Jérémie le prophète. |

And neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, hearkened unto the words of Jehovah, which he had spoken through the prophet Jeremiah. |
Pero no obedeció él ni sus siervos ni el pueblo de la tierra a las palabras de Jehová, las cuales dijo por el profeta Jeremías. |

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the Lord our God for us. |
Et le roi Sédécias envoya Jucal, fils de Shélémia, et Sophonie, fils de Maascéïa, le sacrificateur, vers Jérémie le prophète, disant : Intercèdea, je te prie, pour nous, auprès de l'Éternel, notre Dieu. |

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto Jehovah our God for us. |
Y envió el rey Sedequías a Jucal hijo de Selemías, y al sacerdote Sofonías hijo de Maasías, para que dijesen al profeta Jeremías: Ruega ahora por nosotros a Jehová nuestro Dios. |

Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison. |

Then Pharaoh’s army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem. |
Et l'armée du Pharaon était sortie d'Égypte, et les Chaldéens qui assiégeaient Jérusalem, en entendirent la nouvelle et se retirèrent de Jérusalem. |

And Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt; and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they went up from Jerusalem. |
Y cuando el ejército de Faraón había salido de Egipto, y llegó noticia de ello a oídos de los caldeos que tenían sitiada a Jerusalén, se retiraron de Jerusalén. |

Then came the word of the Lord unto the prophet Jeremiah, saying, |

Entonces vino palabra de Jehová al profeta Jeremías, diciendo: |

Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Vous direz ainsi au roi de Juda, qui vous a envoyés vers moi pour me consulter : Voici, l'armée du Pharaon, qui est sortie à votre secours, retournera dans son pays d'Égypte ; |

Thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me: Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. |
Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: Diréis así al rey de Judá, que os envió a mí para que me consultaseis: He aquí que el ejército de Faraón que había salido en vuestro socorro, se volvió a su tierra en Egipto. |

And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire. |
et les Chaldéens reviendront, et combattront contre cette ville, et ils la prendront, et la brûleront par le feu. |

Thus saith the Lord; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : N'abusez point vos âmes, disant : Les Chaldéens s'en sont allés de nous tout de bon ; car ils ne s'en sont pas allés. |

Thus saith Jehovah: Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans are certainly gone away from us; for they are not gone. |
Así ha dicho Jehová: No os engañéis a vosotros mismos, diciendo: Sin duda ya los caldeos se apartarán de nosotros; porque no se apartarán. |

For though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire. |
Car si vous aviez frappé toute l'armée des Chaldéens qui combattent contre vous, et qu'il n'en restât que des gens transpercés, ils se relèveraient chacun dans sa tente et brûleraient cette ville par le feu. |

And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh’s army, |
Et il arriva, quand l'armée des Chaldéens se retira de Jérusalem à cause de l'armée du Pharaon, |

Y aconteció que cuando el ejército de los caldeos se retiró de Jerusalén a causa del ejército de Faraón, |

Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people. |
que Jérémie sortit de Jérusalem pour s'en aller dans le pays de Benjamin au milieu du peuple, pour avoir de là [sa] part. |

And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans. |
Et comme il était dans la porte de Benjamin, il y avait là un capitaine de la garde (et son nom était Jirija, fils de Shélémia, fils de Hanania), et il saisit Jérémie le prophète, en disant : Tu vas te rendre aux Chaldéens. |

And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the guard was there whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he laid hold on the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Thou art deserting to the Chaldeans. |
Y cuando fue a la puerta de Benjamín, estaba allí un capitán que se llamaba Irías hijo de Selemías, hijo de Hananías, el cual apresó al profeta Jeremías, diciendo: Tú te pasas a los caldeos. |

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. |
Et Jérémie dit : C'est un mensonge ; je ne vais point me rendre aux Chaldéens. Mais il ne l'écouta pas ; et Jirija saisit Jérémie et l'amena aux princes. |

And Jeremiah said, It is false: I am not deserting to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him; and Irijah laid hold on Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes. |
Y Jeremías dijo: Falso; no me paso a los caldeos. Pero él no lo escuchó, sino prendió Irías a Jeremías, y lo llevó delante de los príncipes. |

Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison. |
Et les princes se mirent en colère contre Jérémie, et le battirent, et le mirent en prison dans la maison de Jonathan, le scribe ; car ils en avaient fait une maison de détention. |

And the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in the place of confinement in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison. |
Y los príncipes se airaron contra Jeremías, y le azotaron y le pusieron en prisión en la casa del escriba Jonatán, porque la habían convertido en cárcel. |

When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days; |
Quand Jérémie fut entré dans la maison de la fosse et dans les caveaux, et que Jérémie fut resté là bien des jours, le roi Sédécias envoya, et le prit. |

Entró, pues, Jeremías en la casa de la cisterna, y en las bóvedas. Y habiendo estado allá Jeremías por muchos días, |

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon. |
Et le roi l'interrogea en secret dans sa maison, et dit : Y a-t-il quelque parole de par l'Éternel ? Et Jérémie dit : Il y en a une ; et il dit : Tu seras livré en la main du roi de Babylone. |

king Zedekiah sent and took him out. And the king asked of him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is; and he said, Thou shalt be given into the hand of the king of Babylon. |
el rey Sedequías envió y le sacó; y le preguntó el rey secretamente en su casa, y dijo: ¿Hay palabra de Jehová? Y Jeremías dijo: Hay. Y dijo más: En mano del rey de Babilonia serás entregado. |

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison? |
Et Jérémie dit au roi Sédécias : Quel péché ai-je commis contre toi, et contre tes serviteurs, et contre ce peuple, que vous m'ayez mis dans la maison de détention ? |

Dijo también Jeremías al rey Sedequías: ¿En qué pequé contra ti, y contra tus siervos, y contra este pueblo, para que me pusieseis en la cárcel? |

Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? |
Et où sont vos prophètes qui vous prophétisaient, disant : Le roi de Babylone ne viendra point contre vous, ni contre ce pays ? |

And where are your prophets that prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land? |
¿Y dónde están vuestros profetas que os profetizaban diciendo: No vendrá el rey de Babilonia contra vosotros, ni contra esta tierra? |

Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. |
Et maintenant écoute, je te prie, ô roi, mon seigneur : que ma requête soit reçue devant toi, et ne me fais pas retourner dans la maison de Jonathan, le scribe, de peur que je n'y meure. |

And now hear, I pray thee, my lord, O king: let my supplication, I pray thee, come before thee; and cause me not to return into the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. |
Ahora pues, oye, te ruego, oh rey mi señor; caiga ahora mi súplica delante de ti, y no me hagas volver a casa del escriba Jonatán, para que no muera allí. |

Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison. |
Et le roi Sédécias commanda, et on fit garder Jérémie dans la cour de la prison ; et on lui donna par jour un pain, de la rue des boulangers, jusqu'à ce que fut consommé tout le pain de la ville. Et Jérémie demeura dans la cour de la prison. |

Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard, and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was spent. And Jeremiah abode in the court of the guard. |
Entonces dio orden el rey Sedequías, y custodiaron a Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel, haciéndole dar una torta de pan al día, de la calle de los Panaderos, hasta que todo el pan de la ciudad se gastase. Y quedó Jeremías en el patio de la cárcel. |
