The word of the Lord came also unto me, saying, |

Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place. |
Tu ne te prendras point de femme et tu n'auras point de fils ni de filles en ce lieu-ci. |

No tomarás para ti mujer, ni tendrás hijos ni hijas en este lugar. |

For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel touchant les fils et les filles qui naissent en ce lieu, et touchant leurs mères qui les enfantent, et touchant les pères qui les engendrent dans ce pays : |

For thus saith Jehovah concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bear them, and concerning their fathers that beget them in this land: |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová acerca de los hijos y de las hijas que nazcan en este lugar, de sus madres que los den a luz y de los padres que los engendren en esta tierra: |

They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. |
Ils mourront de morts misérablesa ; ils ne seront pas pleurés, et ne seront pas enterrés ; ils seront du fumier sur la face du sol, et ils seront consumés par l'épée et par la famine, et leurs cadavres seront en pâture aux oiseaux des cieux et aux bêtes de la terre. |

They shall die of painful deaths; they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried; they shall be as dung upon the face of the ground, and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine, and their carcases shall be food for the fowl of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth. |
De dolorosas enfermedades morirán; no serán plañidos ni enterrados; serán como estiércol sobre la faz de la tierra; con espada y con hambre serán consumidos, y sus cuerpos servirán de comida a las aves del cielo y a las bestias de la tierra. |

For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies. |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel : N'entre pas dans la maison de lamentation, et ne va pas pour pleurer, et ne mène pas deuil sur eux ; car j'ai ôté à ce peuple, dit l'Éternel, ma paix, — la bonté, et les compassions. |

For thus saith Jehovah: Enter not into the house of wailing, neither go to lament or bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith Jehovah, the loving-kindness and the tender mercies. |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová: No entres en casa de luto, ni vayas a lamentar, ni los consueles; porque yo he quitado mi paz de este pueblo, dice Jehová, mi misericordia y mis piedades. |

Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them: |
Et grands et petits mourront dans ce pays ; ils ne seront pas enterrés, et on ne les pleurera point, et on ne se fera pas d'incision, ni ne se rendra chauve à cause d'eux. |

Both great and small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried; and none shall lament for them, or cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them. |
Morirán en esta tierra grandes y pequeños; no se enterrarán, ni los plañirán, ni se rasgarán ni se raerán los cabellos por ellos; |

Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother. |
Et on ne rompra pas pour eux le pain dans le deuil, en consolation au sujet d'un mort, et on ne leur donnera pas à boire la coupe des consolations pour leur père ou pour leur mère. |

Nor shall they break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall they give them the cup of consolations to drink for their father or for their mother. |
ni partirán pan por ellos en el luto para consolarlos de sus muertos; ni les darán a beber vaso de consolaciones por su padre o por su madre. |

Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink. |
Et tu n'entreras pas dans une maison de festin afin de t'asseoir avec eux pour manger et pour boire. |

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : Voici, je vais faire cesser dans ce lieu-ci, devant vos yeux et en vos jours, la voix de l'allégresse et la voix de la joie, la voix de l'époux et la voix de l'épouse. |

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí que yo haré cesar en este lugar, delante de vuestros ojos y en vuestros días, toda voz de gozo y toda voz de alegría, y toda voz de esposo y toda voz de esposa.a |

And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? |
Et il arrivera que, quand tu annonceras à ce peuple toutes ces paroles, et qu'ils te diront : Pourquoi l'Éternel dit-il contre nous tout ce grand mal, et quelle est notre iniquité, et quel est notre péché que nous avons commis contre l'Éternel, notre Dieu ? |

And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt declare unto this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath Jehovah pronounced all this great evil against us? and what is our iniquity? and what is our sin which we have committed against Jehovah our God? |
Y acontecerá que cuando anuncies a este pueblo todas estas cosas, te dirán ellos: ¿Por qué anuncia Jehová contra nosotros todo este mal tan grande? ¿Qué maldad es la nuestra, o qué pecado es el nuestro, que hemos cometido contra Jehová nuestro Dios? |

Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; |
alors tu leur diras : C'est parce que vos pères m'ont abandonné, dit l'Éternel, et sont allés après d'autres dieux, et les ont servis, et se sont prosternés devant eux, et m'ont abandonné, et n'ont point gardé ma loi ; |

then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; |
Entonces les dirás: Porque vuestros padres me dejaron, dice Jehová, y anduvieron en pos de dioses ajenos, y los sirvieron, y ante ellos se postraron, y me dejaron a mí y no guardaron mi ley; |

And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: |
et vous, vous avez fait pis encore que vos pères, et vous voilà marchant chacun suivant le penchant obstiné de son mauvais cœur, pour ne pas m'écouter ; |

and you, ye have done still worse than your fathers; and there ye are walking every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, not to hearken unto me: |
y vosotros habéis hecho peor que vuestros padres; porque he aquí que vosotros camináis cada uno tras la imaginación de su malvado corazón, no oyéndome a mí. |

Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour. |
et je vous jetterai de ce pays dans un pays que vous n'avez pas connu, ni vous, ni vos pères ; et vous servirez là d'autres dieux, jour et nuit, parce que je ne vous témoignerai aucune faveur. |

and I will cast you forth out of this land, into a land that ye know not, ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night: because I will shew you no favour. |
Por tanto, yo os arrojaré de esta tierra a una tierra que ni vosotros ni vuestros padres habéis conocido, y allá serviréis a dioses ajenos de día y de noche; porque no os mostraré clemencia. |

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; |
C'est pourquoi, voici, des jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où on ne dira plus : L'Éternel est vivant, qui a fait monter les fils d'Israël du pays d'Égypte ; |

Therefore, behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; |
No obstante, he aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que no se dirá más: Vive Jehová, que hizo subir a los hijos de Israel de tierra de Egipto; |

But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. |
mais : L'Éternel est vivant, qui a fait monter les fils d'Israël du pays du nord, et de tous les pays où il les avait chassés. Et je les ramènerai dans leur terre, que j'ai donnée à leurs pères. |

but, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them. For I will bring them again into their land, which I gave unto their fathers. |
sino: Vive Jehová, que hizo subir a los hijos de Israel de la tierra del norte, y de todas las tierras adonde los había arrojado; y los volveré a su tierra, la cual di a sus padres. |

Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the Lord, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. |
Voici, je mande beaucoup de pêcheurs, dit l'Éternel, et ils les pêcheront ; et après cela je manderai beaucoup de chasseurs, qui les prendront comme du gibier de dessus toutes les montagnes, et de dessus toutes les collines, et des trous des rochers. |

Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith Jehovah, and they shall fish them; and afterwards will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them, from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. |
He aquí que yo envío muchos pescadores, dice Jehová, y los pescarán, y después enviaré muchos cazadores, y los cazarán por todo monte y por todo collado, y por las cavernas de los peñascos. |

For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. |
Car mes yeux sont sur toutes leurs voies ; elles ne sont pas cachées de devant ma face, ni leur iniquité mise à couvert de devant mes yeux. |

For mine eyes are upon all their ways; they are not concealed from my face, neither is their iniquity hidden from before mine eyes. |
Porque mis ojos están sobre todos sus caminos, los cuales no se me ocultaron, ni su maldad se esconde de la presencia de mis ojos. |
| 18 |
And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. |
Et je rendrai premièrement le double de leur iniquité et de leur péché, parce qu'ils ont souillé mon pays par les cadavres de leurs choses exécrables ; et ils ont rempli mon héritage de leurs abominations. |

But first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have profaned my land with the carcases of their detestable things, and with their abominations have they filled mine inheritance. |
Pero primero pagaré al doble su iniquidad y su pecado; porque contaminaron mi tierra con los cadáveres de sus ídolos, y de sus abominaciones llenaron mi heredad. |

O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. |
Éternel, ma force, et ma forteresse, et mon refuge au jour de la détresse ! à toi les nations viendront des bouts de la terre, et elles diront : Certainement nos pères ont hérité le mensonge, la vanité ; et dans ces choses il n'y a point de profit. |

Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of distress, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and they shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited falsehood and vanity; and in these things there is no profit. |
Oh Jehová, fortaleza mía y fuerza mía, y refugio mío en el tiempo de la aflicción, a ti vendrán naciones desde los extremos de la tierra, y dirán: Ciertamente mentira poseyeron nuestros padres, vanidad, y no hay en ellos provecho. |

Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? |
L'homme se fera-t-il bien des dieux, qui ne sont pas des dieux ? |

¿Hará acaso el hombre dioses para sí? Mas ellos no son dioses. |

Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord. |
C'est pourquoi, voici, à cette fois je leur fais connaître, je leur ferai connaître ma main et ma puissance, et ils sauront que mon nom est l'Éternel. |
