The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar. |

For then the king of Babylon’s army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah’s house. |
Et l'armée du roi de Babylone assiégeait alors Jérusalem, et Jérémie le prophète était enfermé dans la cour de la prison qui était dans la maison du roi de Juda, |

And the king of Babylon's army was then besieging Jerusalem; and the prophet Jeremiah was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah's house. |

For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; |

For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Why dost thou prophesy and say, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; |
Porque Sedequías rey de Judá lo había puesto preso, diciendo: ¿Por qué profetizas tú diciendo: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo entrego esta ciudad en mano del rey de Babilonia, y la tomará; |

And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; |
et Sédécias, roi de Juda, ne sera pas délivré de la main des Chaldéens, car certainement il sera livré en la main du roi de Babylone, et il lui parlera bouche à bouche, et ses yeux verront ses yeux ; |

and Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans; for he shall certainly be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; |
y Sedequías rey de Judá no escapará de la mano de los caldeos, sino que de cierto será entregado en mano del rey de Babilonia, y hablará con él boca a boca, y sus ojos verán sus ojos, |

And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith the Lord: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper. |
et il fera aller Sédécias à Babylone, et il sera là, jusqu'à ce que je le visite, dit l'Éternel : si vous combattez contre les Chaldéens, vous ne réussirez pas ? |

and he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith Jehovah: though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper? |
y hará llevar a Sedequías a Babilonia, y allá estará hasta que yo le visite; y si peleareis contra los caldeos, no os irá bien, dice Jehová? |

Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is thine to buy it. |
Voici, Hanameël, fils de Shallum ton oncle, vient vers toi, disant : Achète-toi mon champ qui est à Anathoth, car le droit de rachat est à toi pour l'acheter. |

Behold, Hanameel, the son of Shallum thine uncle, shall come unto thee, saying, Buy for thyself my field which is in Anathoth; for thine is the right of redemption, to buy it . |
He aquí que Hanameel hijo de Salum tu tío viene a ti, diciendo: Cómprame mi heredad que está en Anatot; porque tú tienes derecho a ella para comprarla. |

So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the Lord. |
Et Hanameël, fils de mon oncle, vint vers moi, selon la parole de l'Éternel, dans la cour de la prison, et me dit : Achète, je te prie, mon champ qui est à Anathoth, dans le pays de Benjamin, car à toi est le droit d'héritage, et à toi le rachat : achète-le pour toi. Et je connus que c'était la parole de l'Éternel. |

And Hanameel, mine uncle's son, came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of Jehovah, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is thine, and the redemption is thine: buy it for thyself. Entonces conocí que era palabra de Jehová. |

And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver. |
Et j'achetai de Hanameël, fils de mon oncle, le champ qui est à Anathoth ; et je lui pesai l'argent, dix-sept sicles d'argent ; |

And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances. |
et j'en écrivis la lettre, et je la scellai, et je la fis attester par des témoins, et je pesai l'argent dans la balance ; |

So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open: |

And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison. |
et je donnai la lettre d'achat à Baruc, fils de Nérija, fils de Makhséïa, sous les yeux de Hanameël [le fils de] mon onclec, et sous les yeux des témoins qui avaient signé à la lettre d'achat, [et] sous les yeux de tous les Juifs qui étaient assis dans la cour de la prison. |

and I gave the writing of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Nerijah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son , and in the presence of the witnesses that had subscribed the writing of purchase, before all the Jews that were sitting in the court of the guard. |
Y di la carta de venta a Baruc hijo de Nerías, hijo de Maasías, delante de Hanameel el hijo de mi tío, y delante de los testigos que habían suscrito la carta de venta, delante de todos los judíos que estaban en el patio de la cárcel. |

And I charged Baruch before them, saying, |

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : Prends ces lettres, cette lettre d'achat, celle qui est scellée, et cette lettre ouverte, et mets-les dans un vase de terre, afin qu'elles se conservent beaucoup de jours. |

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Take these writings, this writing of the purchase, both that which is sealed and this writing which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may remain many days. |
Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Toma estas cartas, esta carta de venta sellada, y esta carta abierta, y ponlas en una vasija de barro, para que se conserven muchos días. |

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land. |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël : On achètera encore des maisons, et des champs, et des vignes, dans ce pays. |

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Houses and fields and vineyards shall again be purchased in this land. |
Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Aún se comprarán casas, heredades y viñas en esta tierra. |

Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the Lord, saying, |
Et après avoir donné à Baruc, fils de Nérija, la lettre d'achat, je priai l'Éternel, disant : |

And after I had given the writing of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Nerijah, I prayed unto Jehovah saying, |

Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: |
Ah, Seigneur Éternel ! voici, tu as fait les cieux et la terre par ta grande puissance, et par ton bras étendu ; aucune chose n'est trop difficile pour toi. |

Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and stretched-out arm; there is nothing too hard for thee: |
¡Oh Señor Jehová! he aquí que tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra con tu gran poder, y con tu brazo extendido, ni hay nada que sea difícil para ti; |

Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, is his name, |
Tu uses de bonté envers des milliers [de générations], et tu rétribueras l'iniquité des pères dans le sein de leurs fils après eux, toi, le ∗Dieu grand et fort (l'Éternel des armées est son nom), |

who shewest mercy unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them, thou, the great, the mighty *God, --Jehovah of hosts is his name; |
que haces misericordia a millares, y castigas la maldad de los padres en sus hijos después de ellos; Dios grande, poderoso, Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre; |

Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: |
grand en conseil et abondant en œuvres, dont les yeux sont ouverts sur toutes les voies des fils des hommes, pour rendre à chacun selon ses voies et selon le fruit de ses actions ; |

great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the children of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: |
grande en consejo, y magnífico en hechos; porque tus ojos están abiertos sobre todos los caminos de los hijos de los hombres, para dar a cada uno según sus caminos, y según el fruto de sus obras. |

Which hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day; |
toi qui as fait des signes et des prodiges jusqu'à ce jour dans le pays d'Égypte, et en Israël, et parmi les hommes, et qui t'es fait un nom tel qu'il est aujourd'hui. |

who hast displayed signs and wonders unto this day, in the land of Egypt and in Israel and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day. |
Tú hiciste señales y portentos en tierra de Egipto hasta este día, y en Israel, y entre los hombres; y te has hecho nombre, como se ve en el día de hoy. |

And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; |
Et tu as fait sortir ton peuple Israël du pays d'Égypte, avec des signes et avec des prodiges, et à main forte et à bras étendu, et par une grande frayeur ; |

And thou broughtest forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt by signs, and by wonders, and by a powerful hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great terror; |
Y sacaste a tu pueblo Israel de la tierra de Egipto con señales y portentos, con mano fuerte y brazo extendido, y con terror grande; |

And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; |
et tu leur as donné ce pays, que tu avais juré à leurs pères de leur donner, un pays ruisselant de lait et de miel ; |

and didst give them this land, which thou hadst sworn unto their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey. |
y les diste esta tierra, de la cual juraste a sus padres que se la darías, la tierra que fluye leche y miel; |

And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them: |
et ils y sont entrés, et l'ont possédé ; mais ils n'ont point écouté ta voix, et n'ont pas marché dans ta loi ; et tout ce que tu leur avais commandé de faire ils ne l'ont pas fait, de sorte que tu leur as fait rencontrer tout ce mal. |

And they came in and possessed it: but they hearkened not unto thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do; so that thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them. |
y entraron, y la disfrutaron; pero no oyeron tu voz, ni anduvieron en tu ley; nada hicieron de lo que les mandaste hacer; por tanto, has hecho venir sobre ellos todo este mal. |

Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it. |
Voici, les terrasses sont venues jusqu'à la ville, pour la prendre ; et la ville est livrée par l'épée, et par la famine, et par la peste, en la main des Chaldéens qui combattent contre elle ; et ce que tu as dit est arrivé ; et voici, tu le vois ! |

Behold the mounds, they are come unto the city for taking it; and the city is given over into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, by the sword, and the famine, and the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and behold, thou seest it . |
He aquí que con arietes han acometido la ciudad para tomarla, y la ciudad va a ser entregada en mano de los caldeos que pelean contra ella, a causa de la espada, del hambre y de la pestilencia; ha venido, pues, a suceder lo que tú dijiste, y he aquí lo estás viendo. |

And thou hast said unto me, O Lord God, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. |
Et toi, Seigneur Éternel ! tu m'as dit : Achète-toi le champ à prix d'argent, et fais-le attester par des témoins ; … et la ville est livrée en la main des Chaldéens ! |

And thou, Lord Jehovah, thou hast said unto me, Buy for thyself the field for money, and take witnesses; --and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. |
¡Oh Señor Jehová! ¿y tú me has dicho: Cómprate la heredad por dinero, y pon testigos; aunque la ciudad sea entregada en manos de los caldeos? |

Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, |

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? |
Voici, je suis l'Éternel, le Dieu de toute chair ; quelque chose est-il trop difficile pour moi ? |

Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? |
He aquí que yo soy Jehová, Dios de toda carne; ¿habrá algo que sea difícil para mí? |

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it: |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel : Voici, je livre cette ville en la main des Chaldéens, et en la main de Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone ; et il la prendra. |

Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, and he shall take it. |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí voy a entregar esta ciudad en mano de los caldeos, y en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y la tomará.b |

And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger. |
Et les Chaldéens qui combattent contre cette ville entreront, et mettront le feu à cette ville, et la brûleront, et les maisons sur les toits desquelles on a brûlé de l'encens à Baal et répandu des libations à d'autres dieux, pour me provoquer à colère. |

And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come in and set fire to this city, and shall burn it, and the houses upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink-offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger. |
Y vendrán los caldeos que atacan esta ciudad, y la pondrán a fuego y la quemarán, asimismo las casas sobre cuyas azoteas ofrecieron incienso a Baal y derramaron libaciones a dioses ajenos, para provocarme a ira. |

For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith the Lord. |
Car les fils d'Israël et les fils de Juda n'ont fait, dès leur jeunesse, que ce qui est mauvais à mes yeux ; car les fils d'Israël n'ont fait que me provoquer par l'œuvre de leurs mains, dit l'Éternel. |

For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have been doing only evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith Jehovah. |
Porque los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Judá no han hecho sino lo malo delante de mis ojos desde su juventud; porque los hijos de Israel no han hecho más que provocarme a ira con la obra de sus manos, dice Jehová. |

For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face, |
Car cette ville a été [une provocation] à ma colère et à ma fureur, depuis le jour qu'ils l'ont bâtie jusqu'à ce jour, afin que je l'ôte de devant ma face, |

For this city hath been to me a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face, |
De tal manera que para enojo mío y para ira mía me ha sido esta ciudad desde el día que la edificaron hasta hoy, para que la haga quitar de mi presencia, |

Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
à cause de toute l'iniquité des fils d'Israël et des fils de Juda, qu'ils ont commise pour me provoquer, eux, leurs rois, leurs princes, leurs sacrificateurs, et leurs prophètes, et les hommes de Juda, et les habitants de Jérusalem. |

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
por toda la maldad de los hijos de Israel y de los hijos de Judá, que han hecho para enojarme, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes y sus profetas, y los varones de Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén. |

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction. |
Ils m'ont tourné le dos et non la face ; et je les ai enseignés, me levant de bonne heure et [les] enseignant, et ils n'ont pas écouté pour recevoir l'instruction ; |

And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face; and though I taught them, rising early and teaching, they hearkened not to receive instruction. |
Y me volvieron la cerviz, y no el rostro; y cuando los enseñaba desde temprano y sin cesar, no escucharon para recibir corrección. |

But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it. |
et ils ont mis leurs abominations dans la maison qui est appelée de mon nom, pour la rendre impure ; |

And they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it; |
Antes pusieron sus abominaciones en la casa en la cual es invocado mi nombre, contaminándola.c |

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. |
et ils ont bâti les hauts lieux de Baal, qui sont dans la vallée du fils de Hinnom, pour faire passer [par le feu] leurs fils et leurs filles à Moloc : ce que je ne leur ai point commandé ; et il ne m'est point monté au cœur qu'ils fissent cette chose abominable, pour faire pécher Juda. |

and they have built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause to pass through the fire their sons and their daughters unto Molech: which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. |
Y edificaron lugares altos a Baal, los cuales están en el valle del hijo de Hinom,d para hacer pasar por el fuego sus hijos y sus hijas a Moloc;e lo cual no les mandé, ni me vino al pensamiento que hiciesen esta abominación, para hacer pecar a Judá. |

And now therefore thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; |
Et maintenant, à cause de cela, l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, dit ainsi touchant cette ville dont vous dites qu'elle est livrée en la main du roi de Babylone par l'épée, et par la famine, et par la peste : |

And now therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith thus concerning this city, whereof ye say, It hath been given over into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: |
Y con todo, ahora así dice Jehová Dios de Israel a esta ciudad, de la cual decís vosotros: Entregada será en mano del rey de Babilonia a espada, a hambre y a pestilencia: |

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: |
Voici, je les rassemblerai de tous les pays où je les ai chassés dans ma colère, et dans ma fureur, et dans [mon] grand courroux ; et je les ferai retourner en ce lieu ; et je les ferai habiter en sécurité ; |

Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries whither I have driven them, in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. |
He aquí que yo los reuniré de todas las tierras a las cuales los eché con mi furor, y con mi enojo e indignación grande; y los haré volver a este lugar, y los haré habitar seguramente; |

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: |
et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieu ; |

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: |
et je leur donnerai un seul cœur, et une seule voie, pour me craindre tous les jours, pour leur bien et [le bien] de leurs fils après eux ; |

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. |
et je ferai avec eux une alliance éternelle, que je ne me retirerai point d'auprès d'eux, pour leur faire du bien ; et je mettrai ma crainte dans leur cœur, pour qu'ils ne se retirent pas de moi. |

Y haré con ellos pacto eterno, que no me volveré atrás de hacerles bien, y pondré mi temor en el corazón de ellos, para que no se aparten de mí. |

Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul. |
Et je me réjouirai en eux pour leur faire du bien, et je les planterai dans ce pays, en vérité, de tout mon cœur et de toute mon âme. |

For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. |
Car ainsi dit l'Éternel : Comme j'ai fait venir sur ce peuple tout ce grand mal, ainsi je ferai venir sur eux tout le bien que j'ai prononcé à leur égard. |

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: Como traje sobre este pueblo todo este gran mal, así traeré sobre ellos todo el bien que acerca de ellos hablo. |

And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. |
Et on achètera des champs dans ce pays dont vous dites qu'il est une désolation, de sorte qu'il n'y a ni homme, ni bête ; il est livré en la main des Chaldéens. |

And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. |
Y poseerán heredad en esta tierra de la cual vosotros decís: Está desierta, sin hombres y sin animales, es entregada en manos de los caldeos. |

Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the Lord. |
On achètera des champs à prix d'argent, et on en écrira les lettres, et on les scellera, et on les fera attester par des témoins dans le pays de Benjamin, et aux environs de Jérusalem, et dans les villes de Juda, et dans les villes de la montagne, et dans les villes du pays plat, et dans les villes du midi ; car je rétablirai leurs captifs, dit l'Éternel. |

Heredades comprarán por dinero, y harán escritura y la sellarán y pondrán testigos, en tierra de Benjamín y en los contornos de Jerusalén, y en las ciudades de Judá; y en las ciudades de las montañas, y en las ciudades de la Sefela, y en las ciudades del Neguev; porque yo haré regresar sus cautivos, dice Jehová. |
