Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. |
Va, et crie aux oreilles de Jérusalem, disant : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Je me souviens de toi, de la grâce de ta jeunesse, de l'amour de tes fiançailles, quand tu marchais après moi dans le désert, dans un pays non semé. |

Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: I remember for thee the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land not sown. |

Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the Lord. |
Israël était sainta à l'Éternel, les prémices de ses fruits. Tous ceux qui le dévorent sont coupables ; il viendra sur eux du mal, dit l'Éternel. |

Thus saith the Lord, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Quelle iniquité vos pères ont-ils trouvée en moi, qu'ils se soient éloignés de moi, et soient allés après la vanité, et soient devenus vains ? |

Thus saith Jehovah: What injustice have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and become vain? |
Así dijo Jehová: ¿Qué maldad hallaron en mí vuestros padres, que se alejaron de mí, y se fueron tras la vanidad y se hicieron vanos? |

Neither said they, Where is the Lord that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? |
Et ils n'ont pas dit : Où est l'Éternel qui nous a fait monter du pays d'Égypte, qui nous a fait marcher dans le désert, dans un pays stérile et plein de fosses, dans un pays aride et d'ombre de mort, dans un pays où personne ne passe et où aucun homme n'habite ? |

And they said not, Where is Jehovah, that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and of pits, in a land of drought and of the shadow of death, in a land that no one passeth through, and where no man dwelleth? |

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. |
Et je vous ai amenés dans un pays fertileb, pour en manger les fruits et les biens ; et vous y êtes venus, et vous avez rendu impur mon pays, et de mon héritage vous avez fait une abomination. |

And I brought you into a fruitful land, to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof; and ye entered and defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination. |
Y os introduje en tierra de abundancia, para que comieseis su fruto y su bien; pero entrasteis y contaminasteis mi tierra, e hicisteis abominable mi heredad. |

The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. |
Les sacrificateurs n'ont pas dit : Où est l'Éternel ? et ceux qui s'occupaient de la loi ne m'ont point connu, et les pasteurs se sont rebellés contre moi, et les prophètes ont prophétisé par Baal et ont marché après des choses qui ne profitent pas. |

The priests said not, Where is Jehovah? and they that handled the law knew me not; and the shepherds transgressed against me; and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. |
Los sacerdotes no dijeron: ¿Dónde está Jehová? y los que tenían la ley no me conocieron; y los pastores se rebelaron contra mí, y los profetas profetizaron en nombre de Baal, y anduvieron tras lo que no aprovecha. |

Wherefore I will yet plead with you, saith the Lord, and with your children’s children will I plead. |
C'est pourquoi je contesterai encore avec vous, dit l'Éternel, et je contesterai avec les fils de vos fils. |

For pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if there be such a thing. |
Car passez par les îlesc de Kittim, et voyez ; et envoyez en Kédar, et considérez bien, et voyez s'il y a eu rien de tel. |

Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. |
Y a-t-il une nation qui ait changé de dieux ? — et ce ne sont pas des dieux. Mais mon peuple a changé sa gloire contre ce qui n'est d'aucun profit. |

Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. |
Cieux, soyez étonnés de ceci, frissonnez, et soyez extrêmement confondus, dit l'Éternel. |

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. |
Car mon peuple a fait deux maux : ils m'ont abandonné, moi, la source des eaux vives, pour se creuser des citernes, des citernes crevassées qui ne retiennent pas l'eau. |

Porque dos males ha hecho mi pueblo: me dejaron a mí, fuente de agua viva, y cavaron para sí cisternas, cisternas rotas que no retienen agua. |

Is Israel a servant? is he a homeborn slave? why is he spoiled? |
Israël est-il un serviteur ? Est-il un [esclave] né dans la maison ? Pourquoi est-il mis au pillage ? |

The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant. |
Les jeunes lions ont rugi contre lui, ils ont fait retentir leur voix, et ils ont mis son pays en désolation ; ses villes sont brûlées, de sorte qu'il n'y a plus d'habitant. |

Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, when he led thee by the way? |
N'est-ce pas toi qui t'es fait cela, en ce que tu as abandonné l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le temps où il te faisait marcher dans le chemin ? |

Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken Jehovah thy God, at the time he was leading thee in the way? |
¿No te acarreó esto el haber dejado a Jehová tu Dios, cuando te conducía por el camino? |

And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river? |
Et maintenant, qu'as-tu affaire d'aller en Égypte pour boire les eaux du Shikhore ? Et qu'as-tu affaire d'aller vers l'Assyrief pour boire les eaux du fleuve ? |

And now, what hast thou to do with the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Shihor? And what hast thou to do with the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the River? |
Ahora, pues, ¿qué tienes tú en el camino de Egipto, para que bebas agua del Nilo? ¿Y qué tienes tú en el camino de Asiria, para que bebas agua del Éufrates? |

Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts. |
Ton iniquité te châtie, et tes rébellions te reprennent ; et connais, et vois, que c'est une chose mauvaise et amère que tu aies abandonné l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et que ma crainte ne soit pas en toi, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées. |

For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. |
Car d'ancienneté tu as rompug ton joug, arraché tes liens, et tu as dit : Je ne servirai pash. Car, sur toute haute colline et sous tout arbre vert tu t'inclines, tu te prostitues. |

For of old thou hast broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not serve. For upon every high hill, and under every green tree, thou bowest down, playing the harlot. |
Porque desde muy atrás rompiste tu yugo y tus ataduras, y dijiste: No serviré. Con todo eso, sobre todo collado alto y debajo de todo árbol frondoso te echabas como ramera. |

Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me? |
Et moi je t'avais plantée, un cep exquis, une toute vraie semence ; comment t'es-tu changée pour moi en sarments dégénérés d'une vigne étrangère ? |

For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord God. |
Quand tu te laverais avec du nitre, et que tu emploierais beaucoup de potasse, ton iniquité reste marquée devant moi, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways; |
Comment dis-tu : Je ne me suis pas rendue impure, je n'ai pas marché après les Baals ? Regarde ton chemin dans la vallée, reconnais ce que tu as fait, dromadaire légère, qui vas çà et là croisant tes chemins. |

How sayest thou, I am not defiled, I have not gone after the Baals? See thy way in the valley, acknowledge what thou hast done--a swift dromedary traversing her ways! |
¿Cómo puedes decir: No soy inmunda, nunca anduve tras los baales? Mira tu proceder en el valle, conoce lo que has hecho, dromedaria ligera que tuerce su camino, |

A wild ass used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her. |
Ânesse sauvage accoutumée au désert, dans le désir de son âme elle hume le vent : dans son ardeur, qui la détournera ? Tous ceux qui la cherchent ne se fatigueront point ; ils la trouveront en son mois. |

--a wild ass, used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind in her desire! In her ardour, who shall turn her away? All they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her. |
asna montés acostumbrada al desierto, que en su ardor olfatea el viento. De su lujuria, ¿quién la detendrá? Todos los que la buscaren no se fatigarán, porque en el tiempo de su celo la hallarán. |

Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go. |
Retiens ton pied de se laisser déchausser ; et ton gosier d'avoir soif. Mais tu dis : C'est en vain ; non, car j'aime les étrangers, et j'irai après eux. |

Guarda tus pies de andar descalzos, y tu garganta de la sed. Mas dijiste: No hay remedio en ninguna manera, porque a extraños he amado, y tras ellos he de ir. |

As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets, |
Comme un voleur est confus quand il est trouvé, ainsi sera confuse la maison d'Israël, eux, leurs rois, leurs princes, et leurs sacrificateurs, et leurs prophètes ; |

As a thief is ashamed when he is found, so shall the house of Israel be ashamed--they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets-- |
Como se avergüenza el ladrón cuando es descubierto, así se avergonzará la casa de Israel, ellos, sus reyes, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes y sus profetas, |

Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us. |
ils disent à un bois : Tu es mon père ; et à une pierre : Tu m'as engendré. Car ils m'ont tourné le dos, et non la face ; et, dans le temps de leur malheur, ils diront : Lève-toi, et délivre-nous ! |

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah. |
Et où sont tes dieux que tu t'es faits ? Qu'ils se lèvent, s'ils peuvent te sauver au temps de ton malheur ! Car le nombre de tes dieux est celui de tes villes, ô Juda ! |

¿Y dónde están tus dioses que hiciste para ti? Levántense ellos, a ver si te podrán librar en el tiempo de tu aflicción; porque según el número de tus ciudades, oh Judá, fueron tus dioses. |

Wherefore will ye plead with me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the Lord. |

O generation, see ye the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee? |
Ô génération ! voyez la parole de l'Éternel ! Ai-je été un désert pour Israël, ou un pays de ténèbres ? Pourquoi mon peuple a-t-il dit : Nous sommes maîtres, nous ne viendrons plus à toi ? |

O generation, mark ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel, or a land of thick darkness? Wherefore say my people, We have dominion; we will come no more unto thee? |
¡Oh generación! atended vosotros a la palabra de Jehová. ¿He sido yo un desierto para Israel, o tierra de tinieblas? ¿Por qué ha dicho mi pueblo: Somos libres; nunca más vendremos a ti? |

Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number. |
La vierge oublie-t-elle sa parure ? l'épouse, ses atours ? Mais mon peuple m'a oublié pendant des jours sans nombre. |

Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways. |
Comme tu es habile dans tes voies pour chercher l'amour ! C'est pourquoi aussi tu as accoutumé tes voies aux choses iniques. |

How dost thou trim thy way to seek love! Therefore hast thou also accustomed thy ways to wickedness. |
¿Por qué adornas tu camino para hallar amor? Aun a las malvadas enseñaste tus caminos. |

Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these. |
Même dans les pans de ta robe a été trouvé le sang desi pauvres innocents, que tu n'avais point trouvés faisant effraction ; mais [il y a été trouvé] à cause de toutes ces choses-làj. |

Yea, in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the innocent poor, whom thou didst not encounter breaking in, but it is found upon all these. |
Aun en tus faldas se halló la sangre de los pobres, de los inocentes. No los hallaste en ningún delito; sin embargo, en todas estas cosas dices: |

Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned. |
Et tu dis : Oui, je suis innocente, sa colère se détournera de moi. Voici, j'entrerai en jugement avec toi sur ce que tu as dit : Je n'ai point péché. |

And thou sayest, Indeed I am innocent; his anger will turn from me. Behold, I will enter into judgment with thee because thou sayest, I have not sinned. |
Soy inocente, de cierto su ira se apartó de mí. He aquí yo entraré en juicio contigo, porque dijiste: No he pecado. |

Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou also shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria. |
Pourquoi te donnes-tu tant de mouvement pour changer de chemin ? Tu auras honte aussi de l'Égypte, comme tu as eu honte de l'Assyrie. |

Why dost thou gad about so much, and change thy way? Thou shalt also be brought to shame by Egypt, as thou wast brought to shame by Assyria. |
¿Para qué discurres tanto, cambiando tus caminos? También serás avergonzada de Egipto, como fuiste avergonzada de Asiria. |

Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine hands upon thine head: for the Lord hath rejected thy confidences, and thou shalt not prosper in them. |
De celle-là aussi tu sortiras avec tes mains sur ta tête, car l'Éternel a rejeté ceux en qui tu as eu confiancek, et tu ne réussiras pas par eux. |

Thou shalt indeed go forth from her with thy hands upon thy head; for Jehovah hath rejected those thou confidest in, and thou shalt not prosper by them. |
También de allí saldrás con tus manos sobre tu cabeza, porque Jehová desechó a aquellos en quienes tú confiabas, y no prosperarás por ellos. |
