Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel. |

And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God. |
Et David ordonna de rassembler les étrangers qui étaient dans le pays d'Israël, et il établit des tailleurs de pierres pour tailler des pierres de taille, pour bâtir la maison de Dieu. |

et des bois de cèdre sans nombre, car les Sidoniens et les Tyriens amenèrent à David des bois de cèdre en abondance. |

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the Lord must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death. |
Car David dit : Salomon, mon fils, est jeune et délicat, et la maison à bâtir pour l'Éternel doit être très-grande en renom et en beauté dans tous les pays ; ainsi je préparerai pour elle [ce qu'il faut] : et David le prépara en abondance avant sa mort. |

For David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Jehovah must be exceeding great in fame and in beauty in all lands: I will therefore make preparation for it. And David prepared abundantly before his death. |
Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y de tierna edad, y la casa que se ha de edificar a Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para renombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora, pues, yo le prepararé lo necesario. Y David antes de su muerte hizo preparativos en gran abundancia. |

Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the Lord God of Israel. |
Et il appela Salomon, son fils et lui commanda de bâtir une maison à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. |

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God: |
Et David dit à Salomon : Mon fils, j'ai eu à cœur de bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, mon Dieu ; |

And David said to Solomon, As for me, my son, I was minded to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God. |
Y dijo David a Salomón: Hijo mío, en mi corazón tuve el edificar templo al nombre de Jehová mi Dios. |

But the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. |
mais la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant : Tu as versé beaucoup de sang, et tu as fait de grandes guerres ; tu ne bâtiras point une maison àa mon nom, car tu as versé beaucoup de sang sur la terre devant moi. |

Mas vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: Tú has derramado mucha sangre, y has hecho grandes guerras; no edificarás casa a mi nombre, porque has derramado mucha sangre en la tierra delante de mí. |

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. |
Voici, un fils te naîtra ; lui, sera un homme de paixb ; et je lui donnerai du repos de tous ses ennemis tout à l'entour ; car son nom sera Salomonc. Et en ses jours je donnerai paix et tranquillité à Israël. |

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon, and in his days I will give peace and quietness unto Israel. |
He aquí te nacerá un hijo, el cual será varón de paz, porque yo le daré paz de todos sus enemigos en derredor; por tanto, su nombre será Salomón,a y yo daré paz y reposo sobre Israel en sus días. |

He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever. |
Lui, bâtira une maison àa mon nom ; et il me sera pour fils, et moi je lui serai pour père ; et j'affermirai le trône de son royaume sur Israël pour toujours. |

Now, my son, the Lord be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the Lord thy God, as he hath said of thee. |
Maintenant, mon fils, que l'Éternel soit avec toi, et te fasse prospérer ; et tu bâtiras la maison de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, selon ce qu'il a prononcé à ton sujet. |

Now, my son, Jehovah be with thee, that thou mayest prosper, and build the house of Jehovah thy God, as he has said of thee. |
Ahora pues, hijo mío, Jehová esté contigo, y seas prosperado, y edifiques casa a Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho de ti. |

Only the Lord give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the Lord thy God. |
Seulement, que l'Éternel te donne de la sagesse et de l'intelligence, et qu'Il t'établisse sur Israël, et pour garder la loi de l'Éternel ton Dieu. |

Only, Jehovah give thee wisdom and understanding, and place thee over Israel, and to keep the law of Jehovah thy God. |
Y Jehová te dé entendimiento y prudencia, para que cuando gobiernes a Israel, guardes la ley de Jehová tu Dios. |

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the Lord charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed. |
Alors tu prospéreras, si tu prends garde à pratiquer les statuts et les ordonnances que l'Éternel commanda à Moïse pour Israël. Fortifie-toi, et sois ferme ; ne crains point, et ne t'effraie point. |

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to perform the statutes and ordinances which Jehovah commanded Moses for Israel: be strong and courageous; fear not, neither be dismayed. |
Entonces serás prosperado, si cuidares de poner por obra los estatutos y decretos que Jehová mandó a Moisés para Israel. Esfuérzate, pues, y cobra ánimo; no temas, ni desmayes.c |

Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the Lord an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto. |
Et voici, dans mon affliction, j'ai préparé pour la maison de l'Éternel de l'or, cent mille talents, et de l'argent, mille milliers de talents, et de l'airain et du fer, sans poids, car il est en abondance ; et j'ai préparé du bois et des pierres ; et tu y ajouteras. |

Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work. |
Et tu as avec toi beaucoup d'ouvriers, des tailleurs de pierres, des maçons, et des charpentiers, et toute espèce d'hommes experts en tout ouvrage ; |

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying, |

Is not the Lord your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the Lord, and before his people. |
L'Éternel, votre Dieu, n'est-il pas avec vous, et ne vous a-t-il pas donné du repos tout à l'entour ? Car il a livré en ma main les habitants du pays, et le pays est soumis devant l'Éternel et devant son peuple. |

Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the Lord God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the Lord. |
Maintenant, appliquez vos cœurs et vos âmes à rechercher l'Éternel, votre Dieu ; et levez-vous, et bâtissez le sanctuaire de l'Éternel Dieu, pour amener l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel et les ustensiles du sanctuaired de Dieu dans la maison qui sera bâtie pour le nom de l'Éternel. |
