Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord remaineth under curtains. |
☆ Et il arriva, comme David habitait dans sa maison, que David dit à Nathan, le prophète : Voici, moi j'habite dans une maison de cèdres, et l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel est sous des tapis. |

And it came to pass as David dwelt in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, Behold, I dwell in a house of cedars, and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah under curtains. |
Aconteció que morando David en su casa, dijo David al profeta Natán: He aquí yo habito en casa de cedro, y el arca del pacto de Jehová debajo de cortinas. |

Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee. |
Et Nathan dit à David : Fais tout ce qui est dans ton cœur, car Dieu est avec toi. |

And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, |

Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in: |
Va, et dis à David, mon serviteur : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Tu ne me bâtiras pas de maison pour y habiter ; |

Go and say to David my servant, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou shalt not build me a house to dwell in; |
Ve y di a David mi siervo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tú no me edificarás casa en que habite. |

For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. |
car je n'ai pas habité dans une maison, depuis le jour où j'ai fait monter Israël, jusqu'à ce jour ; mais j'ai été de tente en tente, et de demeurea [en demeure]. |

for I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up Israel to this day; but I have been from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another . |
Porque no he habitado en casa alguna desde el día que saqué a los hijos de Israel hasta hoy; antes estuve de tienda en tienda, y de tabernáculo en tabernáculo. |

Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars? |
Partout où j'ai marché au milieu de tout Israël, ai-je dit un mot à l'un des juges d'Israël, à qui j'ai commandé de paître mon peuple, en disant : Pourquoi ne me bâtissez-vous pas une maison de cèdres ? |

In all my going about with all Israel, did I speak a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why build ye me not a house of cedars? |
Por dondequiera que anduve con todo Israel, ¿hablé una palabra a alguno de los jueces de Israel, a los cuales mandé que apacentasen a mi pueblo, para decirles: Por qué no me edificáis una casa de cedro? |

Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, even from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: |
Et maintenant, tu diras ainsi à mon serviteur, à David : Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées : Je t'ai pris des parcs, d'auprès du menu bétail, pour que tu fusses prince sur mon peuple Israël ; |

And now, thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I took thee from the pasture-grounds, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel; |
Por tanto, ahora dirás a mi siervo David: Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Yo te tomé del redil, de detrás de las ovejas, para que fueses príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel; |

And I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth. |
et j'ai été avec toi partout où tu as marché ; et j'ai retranché tous tes ennemis de devant toi, et je t'ai fait un nom, comme le nom des grands qui sont sur la terre. |

and I have been with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name, like unto the name of the great men that are on the earth. |
y he estado contigo en todo cuanto has andado, y he cortado a todos tus enemigos de delante de ti, y te haré gran nombre, como el nombre de los grandes en la tierra. |

Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, |
Et j'ai établi un lieu à mon peuple Israël, et je le planterai, et il habitera chez lui, et ne sera plus agité ; et les fils d'iniquité ne le consumeront plus comme au commencement, |

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and be disturbed no more; neither shall the sons of wickedness waste them any more, as formerly, |
Asimismo he dispuesto lugar para mi pueblo Israel, y lo he plantado para que habite en él y no sea más removido; ni los hijos de iniquidad lo consumirán más, como antes, |

And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the Lord will build thee an house. |
et depuis les jours où j'ai établib des juges sur mon peuple Israël. Et je subjugueraic tous tes ennemis ; et je t'annonce que l'Éternel te bâtira une maison. |

and since the days that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. And I will subdue all thine enemies; and I tell thee that Jehovah will build thee a house. |
y desde el tiempo que puse los jueces sobre mi pueblo Israel; mas humillaré a todos tus enemigos. Te hago saber, además, que Jehová te edificará casa. |

And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. |
Et il arrivera, quand tes jours seront accomplis pour t'en aller vers tes pères, que je susciterai après toi ta semence, qui sera un de tes fils, et j'affermirai son royaume. |

And it shall come to pass, when thy days are fulfilled that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. |
Y cuando tus días sean cumplidos para irte con tus padres, levantaré descendencia después de ti, a uno de entre tus hijos, y afirmaré su reino. |

He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. |
Lui, me bâtira une maison ; et j'affermirai son trône pour toujours. |

I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: |
Moi, je lui serai pour père, et lui me sera pour fils ; et je ne retirerai pas d'avec lui ma bonté, comme je l'ai retirée de celui qui a été avant toi ; |

Yo le seré por padre, y él me será por hijo;a y no quitaré de él mi misericordia, como la quité de aquel que fue antes de ti; |

But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore. |
et je l'établirai dans ma maison et dans mon royaume à toujours, et son trône sera affermi pour toujours. |

According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David. |

And David the king came and sat before the Lord, and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? |
Et le roi David entra et s'assit devant l'Éternel, et dit : Qui suis-je, Éternel Dieu ! et quelle est ma maison, que tu m'aies amené jusqu'ici ? |

And king David went in and sat before Jehovah, and said, Who am I, Jehovah Elohim, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? |
Y entró el rey David y estuvo delante de Jehová, y dijo: Jehová Dios, ¿quién soy yo, y cuál es mi casa, para que me hayas traído hasta este lugar? |

And yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O Lord God. |
Et cela a été peu de chose à tes yeux, ô Dieu ! et tu as parlé de la maison de ton serviteur pour un long avenir, et tu m'as regardé selon le rang d'un homme haut élevé, ô Éternel Dieu ! |

And this hath been a small thing in thy sight, O God; and thou hast spoken of thy servant's house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the rank of a man of high degree, Jehovah Elohim. |
Y aun esto, oh Dios, te ha parecido poco, pues que has hablado de la casa de tu siervo para tiempo más lejano, y me has mirado como a un hombre excelente, oh Jehová Dios. |

What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant. |
Que pourrait te [dire] encore David pour la gloire de ton serviteur ? Et toi, tu connais ton serviteur. |

What can David say more to thee for the glory of thy servant? thou indeed knowest thy servant. |
¿Qué más puede añadir David pidiendo de ti para glorificar a tu siervo? Mas tú conoces a tu siervo. |

O Lord, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things. |
Ô Éternel ! tu as fait toute cette grande chose à cause de ton serviteur, et selon ton cœur, pour faire connaître toutes ces grandes choses. |

Oh Jehová, por amor de tu siervo y según tu corazón, has hecho toda esta grandeza, para hacer notorias todas tus grandezas. |

O Lord, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. |
Ô Éternel ! il n'y en a point comme toi, et il n'y a point de Dieu si ce n'est toi, selon tout ce que nous avons entendu de nos oreilles. |

And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt? |
Et qui est comme ton peuple Israël, seule nation sur la terre que Dieu soit allé racheter, afin qu'elle lui soit un peuple,… pour te faire un nom, par de grands et terribles [actes], en chassant les nations de devant ton peuple, que tu as racheté d'Égypte ? |

And who is like thy people Israel, the one nation in the earth that God went to redeem to be a people to himself, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, which thou hast redeemed out of Egypt? |
¿Y qué pueblo hay en la tierra como tu pueblo Israel, cuyo Dios fuese y se redimiese un pueblo, para hacerte nombre con grandezas y maravillas, echando a las naciones de delante de tu pueblo, que tú rescataste de Egipto? |

For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, Lord, becamest their God. |
Et tu t'es fait de ton peuple Israël un peuple, à toujours ; et toi, Éternel, tu es devenu leur Dieu. |

And thy people Israel hast thou made thine own people for ever; and thou, Jehovah, art become their God. |
Tú has constituido a tu pueblo Israel por pueblo tuyo para siempre; y tú, Jehová, has venido a ser su Dios. |

Therefore now, Lord, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. |
Et maintenant, ô Éternel, que la parole que tu as prononcée touchant ton serviteur et touchant sa maison soit ferme à toujours, et fais comme tu as dit ; |

And now, Jehovah, let the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. |
Ahora pues, Jehová, la palabra que has hablado acerca de tu siervo y de su casa, sea firme para siempre, y haz como has dicho. |

Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The Lord of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee. |
et que cela soit ferme, et que ton nom soit magnifié à toujours, de sorte qu'on dise : L'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, est Dieu à Israël. Et que la maison de David, ton serviteur, soit affermie devant toi ! |

Let it even be established, and let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, is God to Israel; and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee. |
Permanezca, pues, y sea engrandecido tu nombre para siempre, a fin de que se diga: Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, es Dios para Israel. Y sea la casa de tu siervo David firme delante de ti. |

For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee. |
Car toi, ô mon Dieu, tu as révélé à ton serviteur que tu lui bâtiras une maison ; c'est pourquoi ton serviteur a trouvé [dans son cœur] de te présenter [cette] prière. |

For thou, my God, hast revealed to thy servant that thou wilt build him a house; therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray before thee. |
Porque tú, Dios mío, revelaste al oído a tu siervo que le has de edificar casa; por eso ha hallado tu siervo motivo para orar delante de ti. |

And now, Lord, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: |
Et maintenant, ô Éternel, toi, tu es Dieud, et tu as dit ce bien à ton serviteur. |

Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O Lord, and it shall be blessed for ever. |
Et maintenant, qu'il te plaise de bénir la maison de ton serviteur, afin qu'elle soit à toujours devant toi ; car toi, ô Éternel, tu l'as bénie, et elle sera bénie pour toujours. |

and now, let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever; for thou, Jehovah, hast blessed it , and it shall be blessed for ever. |
y ahora has querido bendecir la casa de tu siervo, para que permanezca perpetuamente delante de ti; porque tú, Jehová, la has bendecido, y será bendita para siempre. |
