And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the Lord our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: |
Et David dit à toute la congrégation d'Israël : Si cela est bon devant vous, et que cela vienne de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, envoyons de tous côtés vers nos autres frères qui restent dans tous les pays d'Israël, et, en même tempsa, vers les sacrificateurs et les lévites, dans leurs villes et leurs banlieues, afin qu'ils se rassemblent auprès de nous, |

And David said to all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good to you, and it be of Jehovah our God, let us send abroad to our brethren everywhere, that are left in all the lands of Israel, and with them to the priests and Levites in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves to us; |
Y dijo David a toda la asamblea de Israel: Si os parece bien y si es la voluntad de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos a todas partes por nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y por los sacerdotes y levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos, para que se reúnan con nosotros; |

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath–jearim. |
Et David assembla tout Israël, depuis le Shikhor d'Égypte jusqu'à l'entrée de Hamath, pour faire venir de Kiriath-Jéarim l'arche de Dieu. |

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjath–jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the Lord, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it. |
Et David monta, et tout Israël, à Baala, à Kiriath-Jéarim, qui appartient à Juda, pour en faire monter l'arche de Dieu, l'Éternel, qui siège entrec les chérubins, duquel le nom est placé [là] d. |

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, to Kirjath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, of Jehovah, who sitteth between the cherubim, whose name is placed there . |
Y subió David con todo Israel a Baala de Quiriat-jearim, que está en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios, que mora entre los querubines,b sobre la cual su nombre es invocado. |

And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. |

And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. |

And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. |
Et ils arrivèrent à l'aire de Kidon, et Uzza étendit sa main pour saisir l'arche, parce que les bœufs avaient bronchée. |

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. |

And David was displeased, because the Lord had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perez–uzza to this day. |
Alors David fut irrité, car l'Éternel avait fait une brèche en [la personne d']Uzza ; et il appela ce lieu-là du nom de Pérets-Uzzaf, [qui lui est resté] jusqu'à ce jour. |

And David was indignant; for Jehovah had made a breach upon Uzza; and he called that place Perez-Uzza to this day. |
Y David tuvo pesar, porque Jehová había quebrantado a Uza; por lo que llamó aquel lugar Pérez-uza,c hasta hoy. |

And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? |

So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed–edom the Gittite. |
Et David ne retira pas l'arche chez lui dans la ville de David, mais il la fit détourner dans la maison d'Obed-Édom, le Guitthien. |

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed–edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed–edom, and all that he had. |
Et l'arche de Dieu demeura trois mois avec la familleg d'Obed-Édom, dans sa maison ; et l'Éternel bénit la maison d'Obed-Édom et tout ce qui lui appartenait. |

Y el arca de Dios estuvo con la familia de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses; y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom,d y todo lo que tenía. |
