And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the Lord, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. |
☆ Et toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël partit du désert de Sin, selon leurs traites, d'après le commandement de l'Éternel, et ils campèrent à Rephidim ; et il n'y avait point d'eau à boire pour le peuple. |

And all the assembly of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, according to their journeys, at the command of Jehovah; and they encamped in Rephidim; and there was no water for the people to drink. |
Toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel partió del desierto de Sin por sus jornadas, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová, y acamparon en Refidim; y no había agua para que el pueblo bebiese. |

Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the Lord? |
Et le peuple contesta avec Moïse, et ils dirent : Donnez-nous de l'eau pour que nous buvions. Et Moïse leur dit : Pourquoi contestez-vous avec moi ? Pourquoi tentez-vous l'Éternel ? |

And the people contended with Moses, and said, Give us water, that we may drink! And Moses said to them, Why do ye dispute with me? Why do ye tempt Jehovah? |
Y altercó el pueblo con Moisés, y dijeron: Danos agua para que bebamos. Y Moisés les dijo: ¿Por qué altercáis conmigo? ¿Por qué tentáis a Jehová? |

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? |
Et là, le peuple eut soif d'eau ; et le peuple murmura contre Moïse, et dit : Pourquoi nous as-tu fait monter d'Égypte, pour nous faire mourir de soif, moi, et mes enfants, et mon bétail ? |

And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why is it that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? |
Así que el pueblo tuvo allí sed, y murmuró contra Moisés, y dijo: ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para matarnos de sed a nosotros, a nuestros hijos y a nuestros ganados? |

And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me. |
Et Moïse cria à l'Éternel, disant : Que ferai-je à ce peuple ? Encore un peu, et ils me lapideront. |

And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, What shall I do with this people? Yet a little, and they will stone me! |
Entonces clamó Moisés a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Qué haré con este pueblo? De aquí a un poco me apedrearán. |

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Passe devant le peuple et prends avec toi des anciens d'Israël ; et prends dans ta main ta verge avec laquelle tu as frappé le fleuve, et va. |

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel, and thy staff with which thou didst smite the river, take in thy hand, and go. |
Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Pasa delante del pueblo, y toma contigo de los ancianos de Israel; y toma también en tu mano tu vara con que golpeaste el río, y ve. |

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. |
Voici, je me tiens là devant toi, sur le rocher, en Horeb ; et tu frapperas le rocher, et il en sortira des eaux, et le peuple boira. Et Moïse fit ainsi devant les yeux des anciens d'Israël. |

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock on Horeb; and thou shalt strike the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so before the eyes of the elders of Israel. |
He aquí que yo estaré delante de ti allí sobre la peña en Horeb; y golpearás la peña, y saldrán de ella aguas, y beberá el pueblo. Y Moisés lo hizo así en presencia de los ancianos de Israel. |

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying, Is the Lord among us, or not? |
Et il appela le nom du lieu Massaa et Meribab, à cause de la contestation des fils d'Israël, et parce qu'ils avaient tenté l'Éternel, en disant : L'Éternel est-il au milieu de nous, ou n'y est-il pas ? |

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they had tempted Jehovah, saying, Is Jehovah among us, or not? |
Y llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Masaha y Meriba,b por la rencilla de los hijos de Israel, y porque tentaron a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Está, pues, Jehová entre nosotros, o no?c |

Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. |
Et Amalek vint, et combattit contre Israël, à Rephidim. |

And Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. |
Entonces vino Amalec y peleó contra Israel en Refidim. |

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. |
Et Moïse dit à Josuéc : Choisis-nous des hommes, et sors, combats contre Amalek ; demain je me tiendrai sur le sommet de la colline, la verge de Dieu dans ma main. |

And Moses said to Joshua, Choose us men, and go out, fight with Amalek; to-morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand. |
Y dijo Moisés a Josué: Escógenos varones, y sal a pelear contra Amalec; mañana yo estaré sobre la cumbre del collado, y la vara de Dios en mi mano. |

So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. |
Et Josué fit comme Moïse lui avait dit, pour combattre contre Amalek ; et Moïse, Aaron, et Hur montèrent au sommet de la colline. |

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. |
Et il arrivait, lorsque Moïse élevait sa main, qu'Israël avait le dessus ; et quand il reposait sa main, Amalek avait le dessus. |

And it came to pass when Moses raised his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. |
Y sucedía que cuando alzaba Moisés su mano, Israel prevalecía; mas cuando él bajaba su mano, prevalecía Amalec. |

But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. |
Mais les mains de Moïse étaient pesantes ; et ils prirent une pierre, et la mirent sous lui, et il s'assit dessus ; et Aaron et Hur soutenaient ses mains, l'un deçà, et l'autre delà ; et ses mains furent fermes jusqu'au coucher du soleil. |

And Moses' hands were heavy; then they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on this side, and one on that side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. |
Y las manos de Moisés se cansaban; por lo que tomaron una piedra, y la pusieron debajo de él, y se sentó sobre ella; y Aarón y Hur sostenían sus manos, el uno de un lado y el otro de otro; así hubo en sus manos firmeza hasta que se puso el sol. |

And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. |
Et Josué abattit Amalek et son peuple au tranchant de l'épée. |

And Joshua broke the power of Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. |
Y Josué deshizo a Amalec y a su pueblo a filo de espada. |

And the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Écris ceci pour mémorial dans led livre, et fais-le entendre à Josué, quee j'effacerai entièrement la mémoire d'Amalek de dessous les cieux. |

And Jehovah said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens. |
Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: Escribe esto para memoria en un libro, y di a Josué que raeré del todo la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo.d |

And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah–nissi: |
Et Moïse bâtit un autel, et appela son nom : Jéhovah-Nissif ; |

Y Moisés edificó un altar, y llamó su nombre Jehová-nisi;e |

For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. |
et il dit : Parce que Jah a jurég, l'Éternel aura la guerre contre Amalek de génération en génération. |

And he said, For the hand is on the throne of Jah; Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation! |
y dijo: Por cuanto la mano de Amalec se levantó contra el trono de Jehová, Jehová tendrá guerra con Amalec de generación en generación. |
