And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. |
☆ Et ils partirent d'Élim, toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël, et vinrent au désert de Sin, qui est entre Élim et Sinaï, le quinzième jour du second mois après leur sortie du pays d'Égyptea. |

And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. |
Et les fils d'Israël leur dirent : Ah ! que ne sommes-nous morts par la main de l'Éternel dans le pays d'Égypte, quand nous étions assis auprès des pots de chair, quand nous mangions du pain à satiété ! Car vous nous avez fait sortir dans ce désert pour faire mourir de faim toute cette congrégation. |

And the children of Israel said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we ate bread to the full; for ye have brought us out into this wilderness, to kill this whole congregation with hunger! |
y les decían los hijos de Israel: Ojalá hubiéramos muerto por mano de Jehová en la tierra de Egipto, cuando nos sentábamos a las ollas de carne, cuando comíamos pan hasta saciarnos; pues nos habéis sacado a este desierto para matar de hambre a toda esta multitud. |

Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse : Voici, je vais vous faire pleuvoir des cieux du pain, et le peuple sortira, et en recueillera chaque jour la portion d'un jour, afin que je l'éprouve, [pour voir] s'il marchera dans ma loi, ou non. |

Then said Jehovah to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather the daily need on its day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not. |
Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: He aquí yo os haré llover pan del cielo;a y el pueblo saldrá, y recogerá diariamente la porción de un día, para que yo lo pruebe si anda en mi ley, o no. |

And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. |
Et il arrivera que, le sixième jour, ils prépareront ce qu'ils auront rapporté, et ce sera le double de ce qu'ils recueilleront chaque jour. |

And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the Lord hath brought you out from the land of Egypt: |

Entonces dijeron Moisés y Aarón a todos los hijos de Israel: En la tarde sabréis que Jehová os ha sacado de la tierra de Egipto, |

And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the Lord; for that he heareth your murmurings against the Lord: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? |
et, au matin, vous verrez la gloire de l'Éternel, parce qu'il a entendu vos murmures contre l'Éternel ; car que sommes-nous, que vous murmuriez contre nous ? |

and in the morning, then shall ye see the glory of Jehovah; for he has heard your murmurings against Jehovah; --and what are we, that ye murmur against us? |
y a la mañana veréis la gloria de Jehová; porque él ha oído vuestras murmuraciones contra Jehová; porque nosotros, ¿qué somos, para que vosotros murmuréis contra nosotros? |

And Moses said, This shall be, when the Lord shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the Lord heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the Lord. |
Et Moïse dit : [Ce sera] en ce que l'Éternel vous donnera le soir de la chair à manger, et au matin du pain à satiété ; parce que l'Éternel a entendu vos murmures que vous avez proférés contre lui ; car que sommes-nous ? Vos murmures ne sont pas contre nous, mais contre l'Éternel. |

And Moses said, When Jehovah gives you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for Jehovah hears your murmurings which ye murmur against him...and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Jehovah. |
Dijo también Moisés: Jehová os dará en la tarde carne para comer, y en la mañana pan hasta saciaros; porque Jehová ha oído vuestras murmuraciones con que habéis murmurado contra él; porque nosotros, ¿qué somos? Vuestras murmuraciones no son contra nosotros, sino contra Jehová. |

And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the Lord: for he hath heard your murmurings. |
Et Moïse dit à Aaron : Dis à toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël : Approchez-vous devant l'Éternel ; car il a entendu vos murmures. |

And Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to all the assembly of the children of Israel, Come near into the presence of Jehovah; for he has heard your murmurings. |
Y dijo Moisés a Aarón: Di a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel: Acercaos a la presencia de Jehová, porque él ha oído vuestras murmuraciones. |

And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud. |
Et il arriva, comme Aaron parlait à toute l'assemblée des fils d'Israël, qu'ils se tournèrent vers le désert ; et voici, la gloire de l'Éternel parut dans la nuée. |

And it came to pass, when Aaron spoke to the whole assembly of the children of Israel, that they turned toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Jehovah appeared in the cloud. |
Y hablando Aarón a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, miraron hacia el desierto, y he aquí la gloria de Jehová apareció en la nube. |

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |

I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God. |
J'ai entendu les murmures des fils d'Israël. Parle-leur, disant : Entre les deux soirs vous mangerez de la chair, et au matin vous serez rassasiés de pain ; et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu. |

I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak to them, saying, Between the two evenings ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah your God. |
Yo he oído las murmuraciones de los hijos de Israel; háblales, diciendo: Al caer la tarde comeréis carne, y por la mañana os saciaréis de pan, y sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios. |

And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host. |
Et il arriva, le soir, que des cailles montèrent et couvrirent le camp ; et, au matin, il y eut une couche de rosée autour du camp ; |

Y venida la tarde, subieron codornices que cubrieron el campamento; y por la mañana descendió rocío en derredor del campamento. |

And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. |
et la couche de rosée se leva, et voici sur la surface du désert quelque chose de menu, de grenu, quelque chose de menu comme la gelée blanche sur la terre. |

And when the dew that lay round it was gone up, behold, on the face of the wilderness there was something fine, granular, fine as hoar-frost, on the ground. |
Y cuando el rocío cesó de descender, he aquí sobre la faz del desierto una cosa menuda, redonda, menuda como una escarcha sobre la tierra. |

And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat. |
Et les fils d'Israël le virent, et se dirent l'un à l'autre : Qu'est-ceb que cela ? Car ils ne savaient ce que c'était. Et Moïse leur dit : C'est le pain que l'Éternel vous a donné à manger. |

And the children of Israel saw it , and said one to another, What is it? for they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, This is the bread which Jehovah has given you to eat. |
Y viéndolo los hijos de Israel, se dijeron unos a otros: ¿Qué es esto? porque no sabían qué era. Entonces Moisés les dijo: Es el pan que Jehová os da para comer. |

This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents. |
Voici la parole que l'Éternel a commandée : Recueillez-en, chacun en proportion de ce qu'il peut manger, un omer par tête, selon le nombre de vos personnes ; vous en prendrez chacun pour ceux qui sont dans sa tente. |

This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded: Gather of it every man according to what he can eat, an omer a poll, according to the number of your persons: ye shall take every man for those that are in his tent. |
Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado: Recoged de él cada uno según lo que pudiere comer; un gomer por cabeza, conforme al número de vuestras personas, tomaréis cada uno para los que están en su tienda. |

And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less. |
Et les fils d'Israël firent ainsi, et ils recueillirent, l'un beaucoup, l'autre peu. |

And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating. |
Et ils mesurèrent à l'omer : et celui qui avait beaucoup, n'eut pas trop ; et celui qui avait peu, n'en manqua pas ; ils avaient recueilli, chacun en proportion de ce qu'il mangeait. |

And they measured with the omer: then he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little wanted nothing: they had gathered every man according to the measure of his eating. |
y lo medían por gomer, y no sobró al que había recogido mucho, ni faltó al que había recogido poco;b cada uno recogió conforme a lo que había de comer. |

And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning. |
Et Moïse leur dit : Que personne n'en laisse de reste jusqu'au matin. |

Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them. |
Mais ils n'écoutèrent pas Moïse, et quelques-uns [d'entre eux] en laissèrent de reste jusqu'au matin ; et il s'y engendra des vers, et cela puait : et Moïse se mit en colère contre eux. |

But they did not hearken to Moses; and some men left of it until the morning; then worms bred in it and it stank. And Moses was wroth with them. |
Mas ellos no obedecieron a Moisés, sino que algunos dejaron de ello para otro día, y crio gusanos, y hedió; y se enojó contra ellos Moisés. |

And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted. |

And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. |
Et il arriva que, le sixième jour, ils recueillirent du pain au double, deux omers pour chacun ; et tous les principaux de l'assemblée vinrent et le rapportèrent à Moïse. |

And it came to pass on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one; and all the princes of the assembly came and told Moses. |
En el sexto día recogieron doble porción de comida, dos gomeres para cada uno; y todos los príncipes de la congregación vinieron y se lo hicieron saber a Moisés. |

And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. |
Et il leur dit : C'est ici ce que l'Éternel a dit : Demain est le repos, le sabbat consacréc à l'Éternel ; faites cuire ce que vous avez à cuire, et faites bouillir ce que vous avez à faire bouillir, et tout le surplus serrez-le pour vous, pour le garder jusqu'au matin. |

And he said to them, This is what Jehovah has said: To-morrow is the rest, the holy sabbath, of Jehovah: bake what ye will bake, and cook what ye will cook; and lay up for yourselves all that remains over, to be kept for the morning. |
Y él les dijo: Esto es lo que ha dicho Jehová: Mañana es el santo día de reposo,c el reposo consagrado a Jehová;d lo que habéis de cocer, cocedlo hoy, y lo que habéis de cocinar, cocinadlo; y todo lo que os sobrare, guardadlo para mañana. |

And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. |

See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. |
Voyez que l'Éternel vous a donné le sabbat ; c'est pourquoi il vous donne au sixième jour du pain pour deux jours. Que chacun reste chez lui ; que personne ne sorte du lieu où il est, le septième jour. |

See, for Jehovah hath given you the sabbath; therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread for two days. Abide every man in his place: let no man go from his place on the seventh day. |
Mirad que Jehová os dio el día de reposo,g y por eso en el sexto día os da pan para dos días. Estése, pues, cada uno en su lugar, y nadie salga de él en el séptimo día. |

And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. |

And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt. |
Et Moïse dit : Voici la parole que l'Éternel a commandée : Qu'on en remplisse un omer pour le garder pour vos générations, afin qu'elles voient le pain que je vous ai fait manger dans le désert, lorsque je vous ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte. |

And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded: Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread that I gave you to eat in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt. |

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the Lord, to be kept for your generations. |
Et Moïse dit à Aaron : Prends une cruche, et mets-y plein un omer de manne, et pose-la devant l'Éternel, pour la garder pour vos générations. |

And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan. |
