1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Et à l'ange de l'assemblée qui est à Sardes, écris : Voici ce que dit celui qui a les sept Esprits de Dieu et les sept étoiles :
Je connais tes œuvres, — que tu as le nom de vivre, et tu es mort.		 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Sardis: Esto dice el que tiene los siete espíritus de Dios, y las siete estrellas: Conozco tus obras, que tienes nombre de que vives, y estás muerto. And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: These things saith he that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Sardis: El que tiene los siete espíritus de Dios, y las siete estrellas, dice esto:
Yo conozco tus obras, que tienes nombre de que vives, y estás muerto.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Sois vigilant, et affermis ce qui reste, qui s'en va mourir, car je n'ai pas trouvé tes œuvres parfaites devant mon Dieu. Sé vigilante y consolida lo que queda, que está a punto de morir; porque no he hallado tus obras perfectas delante de mi Dios. Be watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, which are about to die, for I have not found thy works complete before my God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Souviens-toi donc comment tu as reçu et entendu, et gardea, et repens-toi. Si donc tu ne veilles pas, je viendrai [sur toi] comme un voleur, et tu ne saurasb point à quelle heure je viendrai sur toi. Acuérdate, pues, de lo que has recibido y oído; obsérvalo y arrepiéntete. Por tanto, si no velas, vendré como ladrón, y no sabrás a qué hora vendré sobre ti. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and keep it and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come upon thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I shall come upon thee. Acuérdate, pues, de lo que has recibido y oído; y guárdalo, y arrepiéntete. Pues si no velas, vendré sobre ti como ladrón, y no sabrás a qué hora vendré sobre ti.a
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Toutefois tu as quelques noms à Sardes qui n'ont pas souillé leurs vêtements ; et ils marcheront avec moi en [vêtements] blancs, car ils en sont dignes. Pero tienes unos pocos nombres en Sardis que no han ensuciado sus ropas; y andarán conmigo en vestiduras blancas, porque son dignos. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Celui qui vaincra, celui-là sera vêtu de vêtements blancs, et je n'effacerai point son nom du livre de vie, et je confesserai son nom devant mon Père et devant ses anges. El que venciere será vestido con vestiduras blancas; y jamás borraré su nombre del libro de la vida, y confesaré su nombre delante de mi Padre y delante de sus ángeles. He that overcomes, *he* shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life, and will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Que celui qui a des oreilles écoute ce que l'Esprit dit aux assemblées. El que tiene oído, escuche lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Et à l'ange de l'assemblée qui est à Philadelphie, écris : Voici ce que dit le saint, le véritable, celui qui a la clef de David, celui qui ouvre et nul ne fermera, qui ferme et nul n'ouvrirac : Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia: Esto dice el Santo, el Verdadero, el que tiene la llave de David, el que abre y ninguno cierra, y cierra y ninguno abre: And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: These things saith the holy, the true; he that has the key of David, he who opens and no one shall shut, and shuts and no one shall open: Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia: Esto dice el Santo, el Verdadero, el que tiene la llave de David, el que abre y ninguno cierra, y cierra y ninguno abre:d
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Je connais tes œuvres. Voici, j'ai mis devant toi une porte ouverted que personne ne peut fermer, car tu as peu de force, et tu as gardé ma parole, et tu n'as pas renié mon nom. Conozco tus obras. Mira, he puesto delante de ti una puerta abierta que nadie puede cerrar; porque aunque tienes poca fuerza, has guardado mi palabra, y no has negado mi nombre. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an opened door, which no one can shut, because thou hast a little power, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Yo conozco tus obras; he aquí, he puesto delante de ti una puerta abierta, la cual nadie puede cerrar; porque aunque tienes poca fuerza, has guardado mi palabra, y no has negado mi nombre.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Voici, je donne [de ceux] de la synagogue de Satan qui se disent être Juifs, — et ils ne le sont pas, mais ils mentent ; voici, je les ferai venir et se prosterner devant tes pieds, et ils connaîtront que moi je t'ai aimé. He aquí, entrego a algunos de la sinagoga de Satanás, de los que dicen ser judíos y no lo son, sino que mienten; y los haré venir y postrarse ante tus pies, para que sepan que yo te he amado. 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Parce que tu as gardé la parole de ma patience, moi aussi je te garderai de l'heure de l'épreuve qui va venir sur la terre habitée tout entière, pour éprouver ceux qui habitent sur la terre. Porque has guardado y perseverado en mi palabra, yo también te guardaré de la hora de la prueba que ha de venir sobre todo el mundo habitado, para probar a los que habitan sobre la tierra. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, *I* also will keep thee out of the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole habitable world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Por cuanto has guardado la palabra de mi paciencia, yo también te guardaré de la hora de la prueba que ha de venir sobre el mundo entero, para probar a los que moran sobre la tierra.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Je viens bientôte ; tiens ferme ce que tu as, afin que personne ne prenne ta couronne. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Celui qui vaincra, je le ferai une colonne dans le templef de mon Dieu, et il ne sortira plus jamais dehors ; et j'écrirai sur lui le nom de mon Dieu, et le nom de la cité de mon Dieu, de la nouvelle Jérusalem qui descend du ciel d'auprès de mon Dieu, et mon nouveau nom. Al que venciere, haré que sea una columna en el templo de mi Dios, y no saldrá más de allí; y escribiré sobre él el nombre de mi Dios, y el nombre de la ciudad de mi Dios, la nueva Jerusalén, que desciende del cielo, de mi Dios, y mi nombre nuevo. 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Et à l'ange de l'assemblée qui est à Laodicée, écris : Voici ce que dit l'Amen, le témoin fidèle et véritable, le commencement de la création de Dieu : Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea: Esto dice el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el principio de la creación de Dios: And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea: He aquí el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el principio de la creación de Dios,g dice esto:
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Je connais tes œuvres, — que tu n'es ni froid ni bouillant. Je voudrais que tu fusses ou froid ou bouillant ! Conozco tus obras, que no eres frío ni caliente. ¡Quisiera yo que fueras frío o caliente! I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot; I would thou wert cold or hot. Yo conozco tus obras, que ni eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueses frío o caliente!
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Ainsi, parce que tu es tiède et que tu n'es ni froid ni bouillant, je vais te vomir de ma bouche. Así, porque eres tibio, y ni caliente ni frío, voy a vomitarte de mi boca. Thus because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spue thee out of my mouth. Pero por cuanto eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Parce que tu dis : Je suis riche, et je me suis enrichi, et je n'ai besoin de rien, et que tu ne connais pas que, toi, tu es le malheureux et le misérable, et pauvre, et aveugle, et nu : Porque dices: ¡Soy rico, me he enriquecido, y de nada tengo necesidad! Y no sabes que tú eres el desdichado, miserable, pobre, ciego y desnudo; Because thou sayest, I am rich, and am grown rich, and have need of nothing, and knowest not that *thou* art the wretched and the miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked; Porque tú dices: Yo soy rico, y me he enriquecido, y de ninguna cosa tengo necesidad; y no sabes que tú eres un desventurado, miserable, pobre, ciego y desnudo.
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. je te conseille d'acheter de moi de l'or passé au feu, afin que tu deviennesg riche, et des vêtements blancs, afin que tu sois vêtu et que la honte de ta nudité ne paraisse pas, et un collyre pour oindre tes yeux, afin que tu voiesg. te aconsejo que compres de mí oro acrisolado en el fuego, para que seas rico; y vestiduras blancas, para que te vistas, y no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y colirio, para ungirte los ojos, para que veas. I counsel thee to buy of me gold purified by fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white garments, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not be made manifest; and eye-salve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. Por tanto, yo te aconsejo que de mí compres oro refinado en fuego, para que seas rico, y vestiduras blancas para vestirte, y que no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y unge tus ojos con colirio, para que veas.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Moi, je reprends et je châtie tous ceux que j'aime ; aie donc du zèle et repens-toi. Yo reprendo y disciplino a todos los que amo; ten fervor, pues, y arrepiéntete. I rebuke and discipline as many as I love; be zealous therefore and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Voici, je me tiens à la porte et je frappe : si quelqu'un entend ma voix et qu'il ouvre la porte, j'entrerai chez lui et je souperai avec lui, et lui avec moi. He aquí, yo estoy a la puerta y llamo; si alguno oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré a él, y cenaré con él, y él conmigo. Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking; if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Celui qui vaincra, — je lui donnerai de s'asseoir avec moi sur mon trône, comme moi aussi j'ai vaincu et je me suis assis avec mon Père sur son trône. Al que venciere, le concederé sentarse conmigo en mi trono, como yo también vencí y me senté con mi Padre en su trono. He that overcomes, to him will I give to sit with me in my throne; as *I* also have overcome, and have sat down with my Father in his throne.
