And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. |

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. |
Et il cria avec une forte voix, disant : Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande ! et elle est devenue la demeure de démons, et le repaire de tout esprit immonde, et le repaire de tout oiseau immonde et exécrable ; |
Y clamó con potente voz, diciendo: ¡Cayó, cayó la gran Babilonia, y se ha convertido en morada de demonios, en guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, en guarida de toda ave inmunda y aborrecible! |
And he cried with a strong voice, saying, Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen, and has become the habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hated bird; |
Y clamó con voz potente, diciendo: Ha caído, ha caído la gran Babilonia,a y se ha hecho habitación de demonios y guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de toda ave inmunda y aborrecible.b |

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. |
car toutes les nations ont bu du vin de la fureur de sa fornication, et les rois de la terre ont commis fornication avec elle, et les marchands de la terre sont devenus riches par la puissance de son luxe. |
Porque del vino del furor de su fornicación han bebido todas las naciones, y los reyes de la tierra fornicaron con ella, y los comerciantes de la tierra se enriquecieron con el poder de su fastuosidad. |
because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the fury of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have been enriched through the might of her luxury. |

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. |
Et j'ouïs une autre voix venant du ciel, disant : Sorteza du milieu d'elle, mon peuple, afin que vous ne participiez pas à ses péchés et que vous ne receviez pas de ses plaies : |
Y oí otra voz del cielo, que decía: Salid de ella, pueblo mío, para que no participéis en sus pecados, y para que no recibáis de sus plagas; |
And I heard another voice out of the heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye have not fellowship in her sins, and that ye do not receive of her plagues: |

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. |

for her sins have been heaped on one another up to the heaven, and God has remembered her unrighteousnesses. |

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. |
Donnez-lui comme elle [vous] a donné, et doublez-lui le double, selon ses œuvres ; dans la coupe qu'elle a mixtionnée, versez-luic le double. |
Retribuidla como también ella os dio; y pagadle al doble conforme a sus obras; en la copa que ella mezcló, mezcladle el doble. |
Recompense her even as she has recompensed; and double to her double, according to her works. In the cup which she has mixed, mix to her double. |

How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. |
Autant elle s'est glorifiée et a été dans les délicesd, autant donnez-lui de tourment et de deuil. Parce qu'elle dit dans son cœur : Je suis assise en reine, et je ne suis point veuve, et je ne verrai point de deuil ; |
Cuanto se glorificó y vivió fastuosamente, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto. Porque ella dice en su corazón: Estoy sentada como reina, no soy viuda, ni jamás veré el luto. |
So much as she has glorified herself and lived luxuriously, so much torment and grief give to her. Because she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and I am not a widow; and I shall in no wise see grief: |

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. |
— c'est pourquoi en un seul jour viendront ses plaies, mort, et deuil, et famine, et elle sera brûlée au feu ; car le ∗Seigneur Dieue qui l'a jugée est puissant ! |
Por eso, en un solo día vendrán sus plagas, muerte, duelo y hambre; y será abrasada con fuego; porque fuerte es el Señor° Dios que la juzga. |
for this reason in one day shall her plagues come, death and grief and famine, and she shall be burnt with fire; for strong is the Lord God who has judged her. |

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, |
Et les rois de la terre qui ont commis fornication et qui ont vécu dans les délices avec elle, pleureront et se lamenteront sur elle, quand ils verront la fumée de son embrasement, |
Y cuando vean el humo de su incendio, llorarán y se lamentarán sobre ella los reyes de la tierra, los que fornicaron y vivieron con ella en el lujo; |
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication, and lived luxuriously with her, shall weep and wail over her, when they see the smoke of her burning, |
Y los reyes de la tierra que han fornicado con ella, y con ella han vivido en deleites, llorarán y harán lamentación sobre ella, cuando vean el humo de su incendio, |

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. |
— se tenant loin par crainte de son tourment, et disant : Hélas ! hélas ! la grande ville, Babylone, la ville forte ! car en une seule heure son jugement est venu. |
estando de pie, lejos por temor de su tormento, dirán: ¡Ay, ay de la gran ciudad, Babilonia, la ciudad poderosa; porque en una hora vino tu juicio! |
standing afar off, through fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! for in one hour thy judgment is come. |
parándose lejos por el temor de su tormento, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de la gran ciudad de Babilonia, la ciudad fuerte; porque en una hora vino tu juicio!h |

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: |
Et les marchands de la terre pleurent et mènent deuil sur elle, parce que personne n'achète plus leur marchandise, |
Y los mercaderes de la tierra lloran y se lamentan por ella, porque ya nadie compra su mercancía; |
And the merchants of the earth weep and grieve over her, because no one buys their lading any more; |

The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, |
marchandise d'or, et d'argent, et de pierres précieuses, et de perles, et de fin lin, et de pourpre, et de soie, et d'écarlate, et tout bois de thuya, et tout article d'ivoire, et tout article en bois très-précieux, et en airain, et en fer, et en marbre ; |
mercancía de oro, de plata, de piedras preciosas, de perlas, de lino fino, de púrpura, de seda y de escarlata; de toda madera olorosa, de todo objeto de marfil, de todo objeto de madera muy valiosa, de bronce, de hierro y de mármol; |
lading of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and pearl, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet dye, and all thyine wood, and every article in ivory, and every article in most precious wood, and in brass, and in iron, and in marble, |
mercadería de oro, de plata, de piedras preciosas, de perlas, de lino fino, de púrpura, de seda, de escarlata, de toda madera olorosa, de todo objeto de marfil, de todo objeto de madera preciosa, de cobre, de hierro y de mármol; |

And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. |
et de la cannelle, et de l'amome, et des parfums, et de l'huile aromatique, et de l'encens, et du vin, et de l'huile, et de la fine farine, et du froment, et du bétail, et des brebis, et des chevaux, et des chariots, et des esclavesf, et des âmes d'hommes. |
canela, especias aromáticas, perfume, mirra, olíbano, vino, aceite, flor de harina, trigo, bestias de carga, ovejas, caballos y carruajes, cuerpos y almas de hombres. |
and cinnamon, and amomum, and incense, and unguent, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots, and of bodies, and souls of men. |

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. |
Et les fruits du désir de ton âme se sont éloignés de toi ; et toutes les choses délicates et éclatantes ont péri pour toi ; et on ne les trouvera plus jamais. |
El fruto codiciado por tu alma se ha apartado de ti; y todas las cosas exquisitas y espléndidas han desaparecido para ti, y jamás las hallarán. |
And the ripe fruits which were the lust of thy soul have departed from thee, and all fair and splendid things have perished from thee, and they shall not find them any more at all. |
Los frutos codiciados por tu alma se apartaron de ti, y todas las cosas exquisitas y espléndidas te han faltado, y nunca más las hallarás. |

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, |
Les marchands de ces choses, qui se sont enrichis par elle, se tiendront loin à cause de la crainte de son tourment, pleurant et menant deuil, [et] |
Los mercaderes que se enriquecieron de este comercio con ella se pararán lejos por temor de su tormento, llorando y lamentándose, |
The merchants of these things, who had been enriched through her, shall stand afar off through fear of her torment, weeping and grieving, |

And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! |
disant : Hélas ! hélas ! la grande ville qui était vêtue de fin lin et de pourpre et d'écarlate, et parée d'or et de pierres précieuses et de perles ! car, en une seule heure, tant de richesses ont été changées en désolation ! |
y diciendo: ¡Ay, ay de la gran ciudad, que iba vestida de lino fino, de púrpura, de escarlata, adornada de oro, de piedras preciosas y de perlas! |
saying, Woe, woe, the great city, which was clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet, and had ornaments of gold and precious stones and pearls! |
y diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de la gran ciudad, que estaba vestida de lino fino, de púrpura y de escarlata, y estaba adornada de oro, de piedras preciosas y de perlas! |

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, |
Et tout pilote, et quiconque navigue vers [quelque] lieu, et les matelots, et ceux qui sont occupés sur mer, se tenaient loin ; |
¡Porque en una hora fue desolada tanta riqueza! Todo piloto, todo el que navega a cualquier parte, los marineros y cuantos se ganan la vida en el mar, se pararon lejos, |
for in one hour so great riches has been made desolate. And every steersman, and every one who sailed to any place, and sailors, and all who exercise their calling on the sea, stood afar off, |
Porque en una hora han sido consumidas tantas riquezas. Y todo piloto, y todos los que viajan en naves, y marineros, y todos los que trabajan en el mar, se pararon lejos; |

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! |
et voyant la fumée de son embrasement, ils s'écrièrent, disant : Quelle [ville] est semblable à la grande ville ! |
y gritaban viendo el humo del incendio, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad hubo semejante a aquella gran ciudad? |
and cried, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like to the great city? |
y viendo el humo de su incendio, dieron voces, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad era semejante a esta gran ciudad? |

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. |
Et ils jetèrent de la poussière sur leurs têtes, et, pleurant et menant deuil, ils s'écriaient, disant : Hélas ! hélas ! la grande ville, dans laquelle, par son opulence, tous ceux qui avaient des navires sur la mer étaient devenus riches ! car, en une seule heure, elle a été désolée ! |
Y arrojaban polvo sobre sus cabezas, gritaban llorando y lamentándose, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay de la gran ciudad, en la que se enriquecieron de lo valioso de ella todos los que tenían naves en el mar; porque en una hora fue desolada! |
and cast dust upon their heads, and cried, weeping and grieving, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, in which all that had ships in the sea were enriched through her costliness! for in one hour she has been made desolate. |
Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas, y dieron voces, llorando y lamentando, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay de la gran ciudad, en la cual todos los que tenían naves en el mar se habían enriquecido de sus riquezas; pues en una hora ha sido desolada!i |

Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. |
Ô ciel, réjouis-toi sur elle, et [vous] les saints et les apôtres et les prophètes ! car Dieu a jugé votre cause [en tirant vengeance] d'elleg. |
¡Alégrate sobre ella, cielo, y vosotros los santos, los apóstoles y los profetas! Porque Dios os ha hecho justicia, juzgándola. |
Rejoice over her, heaven, and ye saints and apostles and prophets; for God has judged your judgment upon her. |

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. |
Et un ange puissant leva une pierre, comme une grande meule, et la jeta dans la mer, disant : Ainsi sera jetée avec violence Babylone la grande ville, et elle ne sera plus trouvée. |
Y un ángel poderoso alzó una piedra, como una gran piedra de molino, y la arrojó al mar, diciendo: Así, con la misma violencia, será arrojada Babilonia la gran ciudad, y jamás será hallada. |
And a strong angel took up a stone, as a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall Babylon the great city be cast down, and shall be found no more at all; |
Y un ángel poderoso tomó una piedra, como una gran piedra de molino, y la arrojó en el mar, diciendo: Con el mismo ímpetu será derribada Babilonia,k la gran ciudad, y nunca más será hallada.l |

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; |
Et la voix des joueurs de harpe, et des musiciens, et des joueurs de hautbois, et de ceux qui sonnent de la trompette, ne sera plus ouïe en toi ; et aucun ouvrier, d'aucun métier, ne sera plus trouvé en toi ; et le bruit de la meule ne sera plus ouï en toi. |
Y sonido de arpistas, de músicos, de flautistas y de trompetistas no se oirá más en ti; y ningún maestro de arte alguna se hallará más en ti; y el sonido del molino no se oirá más en ti; |
and voice of harp-singers and musicians and flute-players and trumpeters shall not be heard any more at all in thee, and no artificer of any art shall be found any more at all in thee, and voice of millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee, |
Y voz de arpistas, de músicos, de flautistas y de trompeteros no se oirá más en ti;m y ningún artífice de oficio alguno se hallará más en ti, ni ruido de molino se oirá más en ti. |

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. |
Et la lumière de la lampe ne luira plus en toi ; et la voix de l'époux et de l'épouse ne sera plus ouïe en toi ; car tes marchands étaient les grands de la terre ; car, par ta magie, toutes les nations ont été égarées. |
y luz de lámpara no brillará más en ti; y la voz del esposo y de la esposa no se oirá más en ti; porque tus comerciantes eran los magnates de la tierra; porque con tus hechizos fueron engañadas todas las naciones. |
and light of lamp shall shine no more at all in thee, and voice of bridegroom and bride shall be heard no more at all in thee; for thy merchants were the great ones of the earth; for by thy sorcery have all the nations been deceived. |
Luz de lámpara no alumbrará más en ti, ni voz de esposo y de esposa se oirá más en ti;n porque tus mercaderes eran los grandes de la tierra; pues por tus hechicerías fueron engañadas todas las naciones. |

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. |
Et en elle a été trouvé le sang des prophètes, et des saints, et de tous ceux qui ont été immolés sur la terre. |
Y en ella fue hallada la sangre de los profetas y de los santos y de todos los que han sido degollados en la tierra. |
And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all the slain upon the earth. |
Y en ella se halló la sangre de los profetas y de los santos, y de todos los que han sido muertos en la tierra.o |
