And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. |

And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, |

Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: |

Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. |

because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn asunder by him, and the fetters were shattered; and no one was able to subdue him. |

And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. |

But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, |

And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. |
et, criant avec une voix forte, il dit : Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, Jésus, Fils du Dieu Très-hautc ? Je t'adjure par Dieu, ne me tourmente pas. |
y gritando con fuerza, decía: ¿Qué tengo que ver contigo, Jesús, Hijo del Dios Altísimo? Te conjuro por Dios: ¡No me atormentes! |
and crying with a loud voice he says, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee by God, torment me not. |

For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. |

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. |

And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. |

And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. |
Et aussitôt Jésus le leur permit. Et les esprits immondes, sortant, entrèrent dans les pourceaux, et le troupeau se rua du haut de la côte dans la mer ; [or ils étaient] environ deux mille ; et ils furent étouffés dans la mer. |
Y se lo permitió. Saliendo los espíritus inmundos, entraron en los cerdos; y la piara (como 2.000) se lanzó por un despeñadero en el mar, y todos se ahogaron. |
And Jesus immediately allowed them. And the unclean spirits going out entered into the swine, and the herd rushed down the steep slope, into the sea (about two thousand), and were choked in the sea. |
Y luego Jesús les dio permiso. Y saliendo aquellos espíritus inmundos, entraron en los cerdos, los cuales eran como dos mil; y el hato se precipitó en el mar por un despeñadero, y en el mar se ahogaron. |

And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. |
Et ceux qui les paissaient s'enfuirent, et portèrent la nouvelle dans la ville et dans les campagnes. Et ils sortirent pour voir ce qui était arrivé ; |
Los que los apacentaban huyeron y lo contaron en la ciudad y por los campos. Y vinieron a ver qué era lo que había sucedido. |
And those that were feeding them fled and reported it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had taken place. |

And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. |
et ils viennent vers Jésus, et voient le démoniaque, assis, vêtu, et dans son bon sens, celui qui avait Légion ; et ils eurent peur. |
Llegaron a Jesús y vieron al endemoniado sentado, vestido y en su cabal juicio; el mismo que había tenido a legión; y tuvieron miedo. |
And they come to Jesus, and they see the possessed of demons sitting and clothed and sensible, him that had had the legion: and they were afraid. |
Vienen a Jesús, y ven al que había sido atormentado del demonio, y que había tenido la legión, sentado, vestido y en su juicio cabal; y tuvieron miedo. |

And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. |
Et ceux qui avaient vu [ce qui s'était passé], leur racontèrent ce qui était arrivé au démoniaque et ce qui concernait les pourceaux ; |
Los que lo habían visto contaron cómo había ocurrido aquello al endemoniado, y lo de los cerdos. |
And they that had seen it related to them how it had happened to the man possessed by demons, and concerning the swine. |

And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts. |

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. |

And as he went on board ship, the man that had been possessed by demons besought him that he might be with him. |

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. |
Et il ne le lui permit pas, mais lui dit : Va dans ta maison, vers les tiens, et raconte-leur tout ce que le Seigneur t'a fait, et [comment] il a usé de miséricorde envers toi. |

And he suffered him not, but says to him, Go to thine home to thine own people, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for thee, and has had mercy on thee. |
Mas Jesús no se lo permitió, sino que le dijo: Vete a tu casa, a los tuyos, y cuéntales cuán grandes cosas el Señor ha hecho contigo, y cómo ha tenido misericordia de ti. |

And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. |
Et il s'en alla, et se mit à publier en Décapolise tout ce que Jésus lui avait fait ; et tous s'en étonnaient. |
Se fue y comenzó a proclamar en Decápolis cuán grandes cosas Jesús había hecho por él; y todos se maravillaban. |
And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him; and all wondered. |

And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. |
Et Jésus, ayant encore repassé à l'autre rive, dans la nacelle, une grande foule se rassembla auprès de lui ; et il était au bord de la mer. |
Cuando Jesús pasó otra vez en la barca al otro lado, se reunió alrededor de él una gran multitud; y él estaba a la orilla del mar. |
And Jesus having passed over in the ship again to the other side, a great crowd gathered to him; and he was by the sea. |

And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, |
Et un des chefs de synagogue, nommé Jaïrus, vient ; et le voyant, il se jette à ses pieds ; |

And behold there comes one of the rulers of the synagogue, by name Jairus, and seeing him, falls down at his feet; |

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. |
et il le suppliait instamment, disant : Ma fille est à l'extrémité ; [je te prie] de venir et de lui imposer les mains, afin qu'elle soit sauvéef, et qu'elle vive. |

and he besought him much, saying, My little daughter is at extremity; I pray that thou shouldest come and lay thy hands upon her so that she may be healed, and may live. |

And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. |

And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, |
et qui avait beaucoup souffert d'un grand nombre de médecins, et avait dépensé tout son bien, et n'en avait retiré aucun profit, mais plutôt allait en empirant, |
y había sufrido mucho por parte de muchos médicos, y había gastado todo lo que tenía, sin sacar ningún provecho, sino que iba cada vez peor; |
and had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent everything she had and had found no advantage from it, but had rather got worse, |

When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. |

having heard concerning Jesus, came in the crowd behind and touched his clothes; |

For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. |

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. |
Et aussitôt son flux de sang tarit ; et elle connut en son corps qu'elle était guérie du fléauh. |
Y al instante se secó el flujo de su sangre, y conoció en su cuerpo que estaba sana de aquel azote. |
And immediately her fountain of blood was dried up, and she knew in her body that she was cured from the scourge. |

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? |
Et aussitôt Jésus, connaissant en lui-même la puissance qui était sortie de lui, se retournant dans la foule, dit : Qui a touché mes vêtements ? |
Y enseguida Jesús, dándose cuenta del poder que había salido de él, se volvió en medio de la multitud, y dijo: ¿Quién tocó mi manto? |
And immediately Jesus, knowing in himself the power that had gone out of him, turning round in the crowd said, Who has touched my clothes? |

And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? |

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. |

But the woman, frightened and trembling, knowing what had taken place in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. |

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. |
Et il lui dit : [Ma] fille, ta foi t'a guérieg ; va en paix, et sois guérie de ton fléauh. |
Pero él le dijo: Hija, tu fe te ha sanado; vete en paz, y queda sana de tu azote. |
And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith has healed thee; go in peace, and be well of thy scourge. |

While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? |
Comme il parlait encore, il vient des gens de chez le chef de synagogue, disant : Ta fille est mortei ; pourquoi tourmentes-tu encore le maîtrej ? |

While he was yet speaking, they come from the ruler of the synagogue's house , saying, Thy daughter has died, why troublest thou the teacher any further? |

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. |
Et Jésus, ayant entendu la parole qui avait été dite, dit aussitôt au chef de synagogue : Ne crains pas, crois seulement. |

And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. |

And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. |

And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and people weeping and wailing greatly. |

And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. |
Et étant entré, il leur dit : Pourquoi faites-vous ce tumulte, et pourquoi pleurez-vous ? L'enfant n'est pas mortei, mais elle dort. |

And entering in he says to them, Why do ye make a tumult and weep? the child has not died, but sleeps. |

And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. |

And they derided him. But he, having put them all out, takes with him the father of the child, and the mother, and those that were with him, and enters in where the child was lying. |

And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. |
Et ayant pris la main de l'enfant, il lui dit : Talitha coumi ; ce qui, interprété, est : Jeune fille, je te dis, lève-toi. |
Tomándola de la mano le dijo: Talita cumi; que traducido es: Niña, a ti te digo, levántate. |
And having laid hold of the hand of the child, he says to her, Talitha koumi, which is, interpreted, Damsel, I say to thee, Arise. |

And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. |
Et aussitôt la jeune fille se leva et marcha, car elle avait douze ans ; et ils furent transportés d'une grande admiration. |
Al instante la niña se levantó y andaba, pues tenía doce años. Y ellos se asombraron mucho. |
And immediately the damsel arose and walked, for she was twelve years old. And they were astonished with great astonishment. |

And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat. |
