And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. |

And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. |
Et ne pouvant s'approcher de lui, à cause de la foule, ils découvrirent le toit [du lieu] où il était ; et l'ayant percé, ils descendirent le petit lit sur lequel le paralytique était couché. |

and, not being able to get near to him on account of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was, and having dug it up they let down the couch on which the paralytic lay. |

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. |

And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? |
Et aussitôt Jésus, connaissant dans son esprit qu'ils raisonnaient ainsi en eux-mêmes, leur dit : Pourquoi faites-vous ces raisonnements dans vos cœurs ? |
Y enseguida, sabiendo Jesús en su espíritu que así razonaban entre sí, les dijo: ¿Por qué razonáis tales cosas en vuestros corazones? |
And straightway Jesus, knowing in his spirit that they are reasoning thus within themselves, said to them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? |

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) |

And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. |

And he rose up straightway, and, having taken up his couch, went out before them all, so that all were amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it thus. |

And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them. |

And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphæus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. |

And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at meat in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. |

And it came to pass as he lay at table in his house, that many tax-gatherers and sinners lay at table with Jesus and his disciples; for they were many, and they followed him. |
Aconteció que estando Jesús a la mesa en casa de él, muchos publicanos y pecadores estaban también a la mesa juntamente con Jesús y sus discípulos; porque había muchos que le habían seguido. |

And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? |
Et les scribes et les pharisiens, le voyant manger avec les publicains et les pécheurs, dirent à ses disciples : Pourquoi mange-t-il et boit-il avec les publicains et les pécheurs ? |

And the scribes and the Pharisees, seeing him eating with sinners and tax-gatherers, said to his disciples, Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax-gatherers and sinners? |

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
Et Jésus, l'ayant entendu, leur dit : Ceux qui sont en bonne santé n'ont pas besoin de médecin, mais ceux qui se portent mal ; je ne suis pas venu appeler des justes, mais des pécheurs. |

And Jesus having heard it says to them, They that are strong have not need of a physician, but those who are ill. I have not come to call righteous men , but sinners. |

And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? |

And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? |

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. |
Et Jésus leur dit : Les fils de la chambre nuptialeb peuvent-ils jeûner pendant que l'époux est avec eux ? Aussi longtemps qu'ils ont l'époux avec eux, ils ne peuvent pas jeûner. |
Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso los amigos del esposo pueden ayunar mientras el esposo está con ellos? Mientras tienen al esposo con ellos, no pueden ayunar. |
And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bride-chamber fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast. |
Jesús les dijo: ¿Acaso pueden los que están de bodas ayunar mientras está con ellos el esposo? Entre tanto que tienen consigo al esposo, no pueden ayunar. |

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. |

No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. |
Personne ne coud un morceau de drap neufc à un vieil habit ; autrement la pièce neuve emporte [une partie] du vieil [habit], et la déchirure en devient plus mauvaise. |
Nadie cose remiendo de tela nueva sobre vestido viejo; porque entonces el mismo remiendo tira de él, lo nuevo de lo viejo, y se hace peor la rotura. |
No one sews a patch of new cloth on an old garment: otherwise its new filling-up takes from the old stuff , and there is a worse rent. |

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. |
Et personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres ; autrement le vin rompt les outres, et le vin se répand, et les outres sont perdues ; mais le vin nouveau doit être mis dans des outres neuves. |

And no one puts new wine into old skins; otherwise the wine bursts the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine is to be put into new skins. |

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. |

And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? |

And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? |

How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? |

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: |

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. |
