When the Lord thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the Lord thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses; |
Quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, aura retranché les nations dont l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne le pays, et que tu les auras dépossédées, et que tu habiteras dans leurs villes et dans leurs maisons, |

Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it. |
tu sépareras pour toi trois villes au milieu de ton pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour le posséder : |

Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither. |
tu t'en prépareras le chemin, et tu diviseras en trois parties le territoire de ton pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne en héritage ; et ce sera afin que tout homicide s'y enfuie. |

Arreglarás los caminos, y dividirás en tres partes la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te dará en heredad, y será para que todo homicida huya allí. |

And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; |
Et voici ce qui concerne l'homicide qui s'y enfuira, pour qu'il vive : Celui qui aura frappé son prochain sans le savoir, et sans l'avoir haï auparavant, |

And this is the case of the slayer who shall flee thither that he may live: he that smiteth his neighbour unwittingly, whom he hated not previously; |
Y este es el caso del homicida que huirá allí, y vivirá: aquel que hiriere a su prójimo sin intención y sin haber tenido enemistad con él anteriormente; |

As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live: |
comme si quelqu'un va avec son prochain dans la forêt pour couper du bois, et que sa main lève la hache pour couper l'arbre, et que le fer échappe du manche et atteigne son prochain, et qu'il meure : il s'enfuira dans une de ces villes, et il vivra ; |

como el que fuere con su prójimo al monte a cortar leña, y al dar su mano el golpe con el hacha para cortar algún leño, saltare el hierro del cabo, y diere contra su prójimo y este muriere; aquel huirá a una de estas ciudades, y vivirá; |

Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past. |
de peur que le vengeur du sang ne poursuive l'homicide pendant que son cœur est échauffé, et qu'il ne l'atteigne, parce que le chemin est long, et ne le frappe à mort, quoiqu'il ne mérite pas la morta, car il ne le haïssait pas auparavant. |

no sea que el vengador de la sangre, enfurecido, persiga al homicida, y le alcance por ser largo el camino, y le hiera de muerte, no debiendo ser condenado a muerte por cuanto no tenía enemistad con su prójimo anteriormente. |

Wherefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt separate three cities for thee. |
C'est pourquoi, je te commande, disant : Sépare-toi trois villes. |

And if the Lord thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers; |
Et si l'Éternel, ton Dieu, étend tes limites, comme il l'a juré à tes pères, et qu'il te donne tout le pays qu'il a promis de donner à tes pères, |

And if Jehovah thy God enlarge thy border, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers |
Y si Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu territorio, como lo juró a tus padres, y te diere toda la tierra que prometió dar a tus padres, |

If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three: |
parce que tu auras gardé tout ce commandement que je te commande aujourd'hui, pour le pratiquer, en aimant l'Éternel, ton Dieu, et en marchant toujours dans ses voies, alors tu t'ajouteras encore trois villes à ces trois-là, |

(if thou keep all this commandment to do it, which I command thee this day, to love Jehovah thy God, and to walk in his ways continually), then shalt thou add three cities more for thyself to these three, |
siempre y cuando guardares todos estos mandamientos que yo te prescribo hoy, para ponerlos por obra; que ames a Jehová tu Dios y andes en sus caminos todos los días; entonces añadirás tres ciudades más a estas tres, |

That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. |
afin que le sang innocent ne soit pas versé au milieu de ton pays, que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne en héritage, et qu'ainsi le sang ne soit pas sur toi. |

para que no sea derramada sangre inocente en medio de la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da por heredad, y no seas culpado de derramamiento de sangre. |

But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: |
Mais si un homme hait son prochain, et lui dresse une embûche, et se lève contre lui et le frappe à mort, en sorte qu'il meure, et qu'il s'enfuie dans l'une de ces villes, |

Pero si hubiere alguno que aborreciere a su prójimo y lo acechare, y se levantare contra él y lo hiriere de muerte, y muriere; si huyere a alguna de estas ciudades, |

Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. |

Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee. |
Ton œil ne l'épargnera point, et tu ôteras d'Israël le sang innocent, et tu prospéreras. |

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it. |
Tu ne reculeras point les bornes de ton prochain, que des prédécesseurs auront fixées dans ton héritage que tu hériteras dans le pays que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour le posséder. |

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have fixed in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess. |
En la heredad que poseas en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da, no reducirás los límites de la propiedad de tu prójimo,b que fijaron los antiguos. |
| 15 |
One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. |
Un seul témoin ne se lèvera pas contre un homme, pour une iniquité ou un péché quelconque, quelque péché qu'il ait commisb : sur la déposition de deux témoins ou sur la déposition de trois témoins, la chose sera établie. |

One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, and for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established. |
No se tomará en cuenta a un solo testigo contra ninguno en cualquier delito ni en cualquier pecado, en relación con cualquiera ofensa cometida. Solo por el testimonio de dos o tres testigos se mantendrá la acusación.c |

If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong; |
Quand un témoin iniquec s'élèvera contre un homme, pour témoigner contre lui d'un crime, |

If an unrighteous witness rise up against any man to testify against him of an offence; |
Cuando se levantare testigo falso contra alguno, para testificar contra él, |

Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days; |
alors les deux hommes qui ont le différend, comparaîtront devant l'Éternel, devant les sacrificateurs et les juges qu'il y aura en ces jours-là ; |

And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; |
et les juges rechercheront bien, et, sid le témoin est un faux témoin, s'il a témoigné faussement contre son frère, |

and the judges shall make thorough inquiry; and if the witness be a false witness, and he have testified falsely against his brother, |
Y los jueces inquirirán bien; y si aquel testigo resultare falso, y hubiere acusado falsamente a su hermano, |

Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you. |
alors vous lui ferez comme il pensait faire à son frère ; et tu ôteras le mal du milieu de toi. |

And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you. |
Et les autres l'entendront et craindront, et ne feront plus désormais une pareille méchante action au milieu de toi. |

Y los que quedaren oirán y temerán, y no volverán a hacer más una maldad semejante en medio de ti. |

And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. |
Et ton œil n'épargnera point : vie pour vie, œil pour œil, dent pour dent, main pour main, pied pour pied. |

Y no le compadecerás; vida por vida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente,d mano por mano, pie por pie. |
