Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, |
Écoute, Israël : Tu passes aujourd'hui le Jourdain, pour entrer, pour posséder des nations plus grandes et plus fortes que toi, des villes grandes et murées jusqu'aux cieux, |

A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! |
un peuple grand et de haute stature, les fils des Anakim, que tu connais et dont tu as entendu dire : Qui peut tenir devant les fils d'Anak ? |

Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee. |
Et sache aujourd'hui que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, c'est lui qui passe devant toi, un feu consumant ; c'est lui qui les détruira, et lui qui les abattra devant toi ; et tu les déposséderas, et tu les feras périr subitement, comme l'Éternel te l'a dit. |

Know then this day, that Jehovah thy God is he that goeth over before thee, a consuming fire; he will destroy them, and he will cast them down before thee, and thou shalt dispossess them and cause them to perish quickly, as Jehovah hath said unto thee. |
Entiende, pues, hoy, que es Jehová tu Dios el que pasa delante de ti como fuego consumidor, que los destruirá y humillará delante de ti; y tú los echarás, y los destruirás en seguida, como Jehová te ha dicho. |

Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the Lord thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the Lord hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord doth drive them out from before thee. |
Ne parle pas en ton cœur, quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les aura chassés de devant toi, disant : C'est à cause de ma justice que l'Éternel m'a fait entrer pour posséder ce pays. Mais c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations que l'Éternel les dépossède devant toi. |

Thou shalt not say in thy heart, when Jehovah thy God thrusteth them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; but for the wickedness of these nations doth Jehovah dispossess them from before thee. |
No pienses en tu corazón cuando Jehová tu Dios los haya echado de delante de ti, diciendo: Por mi justicia me ha traído Jehová a poseer esta tierra; pues por la impiedad de estas naciones Jehová las arroja de delante de ti. |

Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. |
Ce n'est point à cause de ta justice, ni à cause de la droiture de ton cœur, que tu entres pour posséder leur pays ; car c'est à cause de la méchanceté de ces nations, que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les dépossède devant toi, et afin de ratifier la parole que l'Éternel a jurée à tes pères, à Abraham, à Isaac, et à Jacob. |

No por tu justicia, ni por la rectitud de tu corazón entras a poseer la tierra de ellos, sino por la impiedad de estas naciones Jehová tu Dios las arroja de delante de ti, y para confirmar la palabra que Jehová juró a tus padres Abraham, Isaac y Jacob. |

Understand therefore, that the Lord thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people. |
Et sache que ce n'est pas à cause de ta justice que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne ce bon pays pour le posséder ; car tu es un peuple de cou roide. |

Know therefore that Jehovah thy God doth not give thee this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiff-necked people. |
Por tanto, sabe que no es por tu justicia que Jehová tu Dios te da esta buena tierra para tomarla; porque pueblo duro de cerviz eres tú. |

Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the Lord thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the Lord. |
Souviens-toi, [et] n'oublie pas comment tu as excité à colère l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le désert : depuis le jour où tu es sorti du pays d'Égypte, jusqu'à votre arrivée en ce lieu, vous avez été rebelles contre l'Éternel. |

Remember, forget not, how thou provokedst Jehovah thy God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came to this place, ye have been rebellious against Jehovah. |
Acuérdate, no olvides que has provocado la ira de Jehová tu Dios en el desierto; desde el día que saliste de la tierra de Egipto, hasta que entrasteis en este lugar, habéis sido rebeldes a Jehová. |

Also in Horeb ye provoked the Lord to wrath, so that the Lord was angry with you to have destroyed you. |
Et à Horeb, vous avez excité à colère l'Éternel, et l'Éternel s'irrita contre vous, pour vous détruire : |

En Horeb provocasteis a ira a Jehová, y se enojó Jehová contra vosotros para destruiros. |

When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the Lord made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: |
quand je montai sur la montagne pour recevoir les tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance que l'Éternel avait faite avec vous, je demeurai sur la montagne quarante jours et quarante nuits ; je ne mangeai point de pain, et je ne bus point d'eau ; |

Cuando yo subí al monte para recibir las tablas de piedra, las tablas del pacto que Jehová hizo con vosotros, estuve entonces en el monte cuarenta días y cuarenta noches,a sin comer pan ni beber agua; |

And the Lord delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the Lord spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. |
et l'Éternel me donna les deux tables de pierre, écrites du doigt de Dieu ; et sur elles étaient écrites toutes les parolesa que l'Éternel vous avait dites sur la montagne, du milieu du feu, le jour de la congrégation ; |

--and Jehovah delivered to me the two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words which Jehovah spoke with you on the mountain from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. |
y me dio Jehová las dos tablas de piedra escritas con el dedo de Dios; y en ellas estaba escrito según todas las palabras que os habló Jehová en el monte, de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea. |

And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the Lord gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant. |
et il arriva, au bout de quarante jours et de quarante nuits, que l'Éternel me donna les deux tables de pierre, les tables de l'alliance ; |

And the Lord said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image. |
et l'Éternel me dit : Lève-toi, descends promptement d'ici, car ton peuple, que tu as fait sortir d'Égypte, s'est corrompu ; ils se sont vite détournés dub chemin que je leur avais commandé, ils se sont fait une image de fonte. |

And Jehovah said unto me, Arise, go down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them: they have made for themselves a molten image. |
Y me dijo Jehová: Levántate, desciende pronto de aquí, porque tu pueblo que sacaste de Egipto se ha corrompido; pronto se han apartado del camino que yo les mandé; se han hecho una imagen de fundición. |

Furthermore the Lord spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: |
Et l'Éternel me parla, disant : J'ai vu ce peuple, et voici, c'est un peuple de cou roide. |

And Jehovah spoke unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people. |
Y me habló Jehová, diciendo: He observado a ese pueblo, y he aquí que es pueblo duro de cerviz. |

Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they. |
Laisse-moi, et je les détruirai, et j'effacerai leur nom de dessous les cieux ; et je ferai de toi une nation plus forte et plus nombreuse qu'eux. |

So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. |

And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the Lord your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the Lord had commanded you. |
Et je vis, et voici, vous aviez péché contre l'Éternel, votre Dieu ; vous vous étiez fait un veau de fonte ; vous vous étiez vite détournés du chemin que l'Éternel vous avait commandé. |

And I saw, and behold, ye had sinned against Jehovah your God: ye had made for yourselves a molten calf; ye had quickly turned aside from the way which Jehovah had commanded you. |
Y miré, y he aquí habíais pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios; os habíais hecho un becerro de fundición, apartándoos pronto del camino que Jehová os había mandado. |

And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes. |
Et je saisis les deux tables, et les jetai de dessus mes deux mains, et je les brisai devant vos yeux. |

And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. |
Et je me prosternai devant l'Éternel, comme au commencement, quarante jours et quarante nuits ; je ne mangeai point de pain et je ne bus point d'eau, à cause de tout votre péché que vous aviez commis, en faisant ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de le provoquer à colère ; |

And I fell down before Jehovah, as at the first, forty days and forty nights, --I ate no bread and drank no water, --because of all your sin which ye had sinned, in doing what is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger. |
Y me postré delante de Jehová como antes, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; no comí pan ni bebí agua, a causa de todo vuestro pecado que habíais cometido haciendo el mal ante los ojos de Jehová para enojarlo. |

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also. |
car j'eus peur de la colère et de la fureur dont l'Éternel était courroucé contre vous, pour vous détruire ; et l'Éternel m'écouta aussi cette fois-là. |

For I was afraid of the anger and fury wherewith Jehovah was wroth against you to destroy you. And Jehovah listened unto me also at that time. |
Porque temíb a causa del furor y de la ira con que Jehová estaba enojado contra vosotros para destruiros. Pero Jehová me escuchó aun esta vez. |

And the Lord was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time. |
Et l'Éternel fut fort irrité contre Aaron, pour le détruire ; et j'intercédai aussi pour Aaron, en ce temps-là ; |

And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount. |
et je pris votre péché, le veau que vous aviez fait, et je le brûlai au feu, et je le pilai, je le moulus bien, jusqu'à ce qu'il fût réduit en poudre, et j'en jetai la poudre dans le torrent qui descendait de la montagne. |

And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burned it with fire, and crushed it, and ground it very small, until it became fine dust; and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that flowed down from the mountain. |
Y tomé el objeto de vuestro pecado, el becerro que habíais hecho, y lo quemé en el fuego, y lo desmenucé moliéndolo muy bien, hasta que fue reducido a polvo; y eché el polvo de él en el arroyo que descendía del monte. |

And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibroth–hattaavah, ye provoked the Lord to wrath. |
Et à Tabhéra, et à Massa, et à Kibroth-Hattaava, vous avez excité à colère l'Éternel. |

Likewise when the Lord sent you from Kadesh–barnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. |
Et lorsque l'Éternel vous envoya de Kadès-Barnéa, en disant : Montez, et possédez le pays que je vous ai donné, vous fûtes rebelles contre le commandementc de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, et vous ne le crûtes point, et vous n'écoutâtes pas sa voix. |

And when Jehovah sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and take possession of the land which I have given you, ye rebelled against the word of Jehovah your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. |
Y cuando Jehová os envió desde Cades-barnea,f diciendo: Subid y poseed la tierra que yo os he dado,g también fuisteis rebeldes al mandato de Jehová vuestro Dios,h y no le creísteis, ni obedecisteis a su voz. |

Thus I fell down before the Lord forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the Lord had said he would destroy you. |
Et je me prosternai devant l'Éternel, les quarante jours et les quarante nuits pendant lesquels je me prosternai [devant lui] ; car l'Éternel avait dit qu'il vous détruirait. |

I prayed therefore unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. |
Et je suppliai l'Éternel, et je dis : Seigneur Éternel ! ne détruis pas ton peuple, et ton héritage, que tu as racheté par ta grandeur, que tu as fait sortir d'Égypte à main forte ! |

I prayed therefore to Jehovah, and said, Lord Jehovah, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a powerful hand. |
Y oré a Jehová, diciendo: Oh Señor Jehová, no destruyas a tu pueblo y a tu heredad que has redimido con tu grandeza, que sacaste de Egipto con mano poderosa. |

Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: |
Souviens-toi de tes serviteurs, d'Abraham, d'Isaac, et de Jacob ; ne regarde pas à la dureté de ce peuple, et à sa méchanceté, et à son péché ; |

Remember thy servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not at the stubbornness of this people, nor at their wickedness, nor at their sin; |
Acuérdate de tus siervos Abraham, Isaac y Jacob; no mires a la dureza de este pueblo, ni a su impiedad ni a su pecado, |

Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the Lord was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. |
de peur qu'on ne dise dans le pays d'où tu nous as fait sortir : Parce que l'Éternel ne pouvait pas les faire entrer dans le pays qu'il leur avait promis, et parce qu'il les haïssait, il les a fait sortir pour les faire mourir dans le désert. |

lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because Jehovah was not able to bring them into the land which he had promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to kill them in the wilderness. |
no sea que digan los de la tierra de donde nos sacaste: Por cuanto no pudo Jehová introducirlos en la tierra que les había prometido, o porque los aborrecía, los sacó para matarlos en el desierto. |

Or ils sont ton peuple et ton héritage, que tu as fait sortir par ta grande puissance et par ton bras étendu. |
