When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; |
Quand l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'aura introduit dans le pays où tu entres pour le posséder, et qu'il aura chassé de devant toi des nations nombreuses, le Héthien, et le Guirgasien, et l'Amoréen, et le Cananéen, et le Phérézien, et le Hévien, et le Jébusien, sept nations plus nombreuses et plus fortes que toi, |

Cuando Jehová tu Dios te haya introducido en la tierra en la cual entrarás para tomarla, y haya echado de delante de ti a muchas naciones, al heteo, al gergeseo, al amorreo, al cananeo, al ferezeo, al heveo y al jebuseo, siete nacionesa mayores y más poderosas que tú, |

And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: |
et que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les aura livrées devant toi, et que tu les auras frappées, tu les détruiras entièrement comme un anathème ; tu ne traiteras point alliance avec elles, et tu ne leur feras pas grâce. |

and when Jehovah thy God shall give them up before thee and thou shalt smite them, then shalt thou utterly destroy them: thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them. |
y Jehová tu Dios las haya entregado delante de ti, y las hayas derrotado, las destruirás del todo; no harás con ellas alianza, ni tendrás de ellas misericordia. |

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. |
Tu ne t'allieras point par mariage avec elles, tu ne donneras pas ta fille à leur fils, et tu ne prendras pas leur fille pour ton fils ; |

And thou shalt make no marriages with them: thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor take his daughter for thy son; |
Y no emparentarás con ellas; no darás tu hija a su hijo, ni tomarás a su hija para tu hijo. |

For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. |
car ils détourneraient dea moi ton fils, et il servirait d'autres dieux, et la colère de l'Éternel s'embraserait contre vous, et te détruirait aussitôt. |

for he will turn away thy son from following me, and they will serve other gods, and the anger of Jehovah will be kindled against you, and he will destroy thee quickly. |
Porque desviará a tu hijo de en pos de mí, y servirán a dioses ajenos; y el furor de Jehová se encenderá sobre vosotros, y te destruirá pronto. |

But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. |
Mais vous leur ferez ainsi : Vous démolirez leurs autels, et vous briserez leurs statues, et vous abattrez leurs ashèresb, et vous brûlerez au feu leurs images taillées. |

But thus shall ye deal with them: ye shall break down their altars, and shatter their statues, and hew down their Asherahs, and burn their graven images with fire. |
Mas así habéis de hacer con ellos: sus altares destruiréis, y quebraréis sus estatuas, y destruiréis sus imágenes de Asera, y quemaréis sus esculturas en el fuego.b |

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. |
Car tu es un peuple saint, [consacré] à l'Éternel, ton Dieu ; l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a choisi, afin que tu sois pour lui un peuple qui lui appartienne en propre, d'entrec tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre. |

For a holy people art thou unto Jehovah thy God: Jehovah thy God hath chosen thee to be unto him a people for a possession, above all the peoples that are upon the face of the earth. |
Porque tú eres pueblo santo para Jehová tu Dios; Jehová tu Dios te ha escogido para serle un pueblo especial,c más que todos los pueblos que están sobre la tierra. |

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: |
Ce n'est pas parce que vous étiez plus nombreux que tous les peuples, que l'Éternel s'est attaché à vous et vous a choisis ; car vous êtes le plus petit de tous les peuples ; |

Not because ye were more in number than all the peoples, hath Jehovah been attached to you and chosen you, for ye are the fewest of all the peoples; |
No por ser vosotros más que todos los pueblos os ha querido Jehová y os ha escogido, pues vosotros erais el más insignificante de todos los pueblos; |

But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. |
mais parce que l'Éternel vous a aimés et parce qu'il garde le serment qu'il a juré à vos pères, l'Éternel vous a fait sortir à main forte, et t'a racheté de la maison de servitude, de la main du Pharaon, roi d'Égypte. |

but because Jehovah loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath Jehovah brought you out with a powerful hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. |
sino por cuanto Jehová os amó, y quiso guardar el juramento que juró a vuestros padres, os ha sacado Jehová con mano poderosa, y os ha rescatado de servidumbre, de la mano de Faraón rey de Egipto. |

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; |
Connais donc que c'est l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui est Dieu, le ∗Dieu fidèle, qui garde l'alliance et la bonté jusqu'à mille générations à ceux qui l'aiment et qui gardent ses commandements, |

And thou shalt know that Jehovah thy God, he is God, the faithful *God, who keepeth covenant and mercy to a thousand generations with them that love him and keep his commandments; |
Conoce, pues, que Jehová tu Dios es Dios, Dios fiel, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia a los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos, hasta mil generaciones; |

And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. |
et qui récompense en face ceux qui le haïssent, pour les faire périr : il ne différera pas à l'égard de celui qui le hait ; il le récompensera en face. |

and repayeth them that hate him each to his face, to cause them to perish: he delayeth not with him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. |
y que da el pago en persona al que le aborrece, destruyéndolo;d y no se demora con el que le odia, en persona le dará el pago. |

Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. |
Et tu garderas les commandements, et les statuts et les ordonnances que je te commande aujourd'hui, pour les pratiquer. |

Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: |
Et, si vous écoutez ces ordonnances, et que vous les gardiez et les fassiez, il arrivera que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te gardera l'alliance et la bonté qu'il a jurées à tes pères. |

And it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that Jehovah thy God will keep with thee the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers; |
Y por haber oído estos decretos y haberlos guardado y puesto por obra, Jehová tu Dios guardará contigo el pacto y la misericordia que juró a tus padres. |

And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. |
Et il t'aimera, et te bénira, et te multipliera ; et il bénira le fruit de ton ventre, et le fruit de ta terre, ton froment, et ton moût, et ton huile, et la portée de ton gros bétail, et l'accroissement de ton menu bétail, sur la terre qu'il a juré à tes pères de te donner. |

and he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee, and will bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy ground, thy corn and thy new wine, and thine oil, the offspring of thy kine, and the increase of thy sheep, in the land which he swore unto thy fathers to give thee. |
Y te amará, te bendecirá y te multiplicará, y bendecirá el fruto de tu vientre y el fruto de tu tierra, tu grano, tu mosto, tu aceite, la cría de tus vacas, y los rebaños de tus ovejas, en la tierra que juró a tus padres que te daría. |

Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. |
Tu seras béni plus que tous les peuples ; il n'y aura, parmi toi et parmi tes bêtes, ni mâle ni femelle stérile ; |

And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. |
et l'Éternel éloignera de toi toute maladie, et il ne mettra sur toi aucune des plaies malignes de l'Égypte que tu as connues, mais il les mettra sur tous ceux qui te haïssent. |

and Jehovah will take away from thee all sickness, and none of the evil infirmities of Egypt, which thou knowest, will he put upon thee; but he will lay them upon all them that hate thee. |
Y quitará Jehová de ti toda enfermedad; y todas las malas plagas de Egipto, que tú conoces, no las pondrá sobre ti, antes las pondrá sobre todos los que te aborrecieren. |

And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee. |
Et tu consumeras tous les peuples que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, te livre ; ton œil ne les épargnera pas, et tu ne serviras pas leurs dieux, car ce serait un piège pour toi. |

And thou shalt consume all the peoples that Jehovah thy God will give up unto thee; thine eye shall not spare them, and thou shalt not serve their gods; for that would be a snare unto thee. |
Y consumirás a todos los pueblos que te da Jehová tu Dios; no los perdonará tu ojo, ni servirás a sus dioses, porque te será tropiezo.e |
| 17 |
If thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them? |
Si tu dis dans ton cœur : Ces nations sont plus nombreuses que moi, comment pourrai-je les déposséder ? |

If thou shouldest say in thy heart, These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them? |
Si dijeres en tu corazón: Estas naciones son mucho más numerosas que yo; ¿cómo las podré exterminar? |
| 18 |
Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; |
ne les crains point ; souviens-toi de ce que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a fait au Pharaon et à toute l'Égypte, |

fear them not; remember well what Jehovah thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all the Egyptians; |
no tengas temor de ellas; acuérdate bien de lo que hizo Jehová tu Dios con Faraón y con todo Egipto; |

The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid. |
de ces grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, et des signes et des prodiges, et de la main forte et du bras étendu, par lesquels l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a fait sortir : ainsi fera l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à tous les peuples dont tu as peur. |

the great trials which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the powerful hand, and the stretched-out arm, whereby Jehovah thy God brought thee out: so will Jehovah thy God do unto all the peoples whom thou fearest. |
de las grandes pruebas que vieron tus ojos, y de las señales y milagros, y de la mano poderosa y el brazo extendido con que Jehová tu Dios te sacó; así hará Jehová tu Dios con todos los pueblos de cuya presencia tú temieres. |

Moreover the Lord thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed. |
Et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, enverra aussi les frelons contre eux, jusqu'à ce que ceux qui seront restés et ceux qui se seront cachés devant toi aient péri. |

Moreover, Jehovah thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and they that hide themselves from thee, are destroyed. |
También enviará Jehová tu Dios avispas sobre ellos, hasta que perezcan los que quedaren y los que se hubieren escondido de delante de ti. |

Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible. |
Tu ne t'épouvanteras pas à cause d'eux, car l'Éternel ton Dieu, est au milieu de toi, un ∗Dieu grand et terrible. |

Thou shalt not be afraid of them; for Jehovah thy God is in thy midst, a *God great and terrible. |
No desmayes delante de ellos, porque Jehová tu Dios está en medio de ti, Dios grande y temible. |
| 22 |
And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee. |
Et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, chassera ces nations de devant toi peu à peu. Tu ne pourras pas les détruire tout aussitôt, de peur que les bêtes des champs ne se multiplient contre toi. |

And Jehovah thy God will cast out those nations from before thee by little and little; thou shalt not be able to make an end of them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee. |
Y Jehová tu Dios echará a estas naciones de delante de ti poco a poco; no podrás acabar con ellas en seguida, para que las fieras del campo no se aumenten contra ti. |
| 23 |
But the Lord thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed. |
Mais l'Éternel, ton Dieu, les livrera devant toi, et les jettera dans une grande confusion, jusqu'à ce qu'il les ait détruites ; |

But Jehovah thy God will give them up before thee, and will confound them with great consternation, until they are destroyed. |
Mas Jehová tu Dios las entregará delante de ti, y él las quebrantará con grande destrozo, hasta que sean destruidas. |

And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them. |
et il livrera leurs rois en ta main, et tu feras périr leur nom de dessous les cieux ; nul ne tiendra devant toi, jusqu'à ce que tu les aies détruits. |

And he will give their kings into thy hand, and thou shalt put out their name from under the heavens; no man shall stand before thee, until thou hast destroyed them. |
Él entregará sus reyes en tu mano, y tú destruirás el nombre de ellos de debajo del cielo; nadie te hará frente hasta que los destruyas. |

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. |
Vous brûlerez au feu les images taillées de leurs dieux ; tu ne désireras pas l'argent ou l'or qui sont dessus, et tu ne les prendras pas pour toi, de peur que, par là, tu ne sois pris dans un piège ; car c'est une abomination pour l'Éternel, ton Dieu ; |

The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire; thou shalt not covet the silver and gold that is on them and take it unto thee, lest thou be ensnared therein; for it is an abomination to Jehovah thy God. |
Las esculturas de sus dioses quemarás en el fuego; no codiciarás plata ni oro de ellas para tomarlo para ti, para que no tropieces en ello, pues es abominación a Jehová tu Dios; |

Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. |
afin que tu n'introduises pas l'abomination dans ta maison, et que tu ne sois pas anathème comme elle : tu l'auras en extrême horreur et en extrême abomination ; car c'est un anathème. |

And thou shalt not bring an abomination into thy house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. |
y no traerás cosa abominable a tu casa, para que no seas anatema; del todo la aborrecerás y la abominarás, porque es anatema. |
