Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the Lord spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days. |
Et nous nous tournâmes, et nous partîmes pour le désert, par le chemin de la mer Rouge, comme l'Éternel m'avait dit, et nous tournâmes autour de la montagne de Séhir, plusieurs jours. |

And we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as Jehovah had said unto me; and we went round mount Seir many days. |
Luego volvimos y salimos al desierto, camino del Mar Rojo, como Jehová me había dicho; y rodeamos el monte de Seira por mucho tiempo. |

And the Lord spake unto me, saying, |

Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward. |
Vous avez assez tourné autour de cette montagne ; dirigez-vous vers le nord. |

Bastante habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al norte. |

And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: |
Et commande au peuple, disant : Vous allez passer par les confins de vos frères, les fils d'Ésaü, qui habitent en Séhir, et ils auront peur de vous ; et soyez bien sur vos gardes ; |

And command the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the border of your brethren the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you; and ye shall be very guarded: |
Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el territorio de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú,b que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho. |

Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. |
vous n'engagerez pas de lutte avec eux, car je ne vous donnerai rien de leur pays, pas même de quoi poser la plante du pied, car j'ai donné la montagne de Séhir en possession à Ésaü. |

No os metáis con ellos, porque no os daré de su tierra ni aun lo que cubre la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad a Esaú el monte de Seir. |

Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink. |
Vous achèterez d'eux la nourriture à prix d'argent, et vous la mangerez ; et l'eau aussi, vous l'achèterez d'eux à prix d'argent, et vous la boirez. |

For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. |
Car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'a béni dans toute l'œuvre de ta main ; il a connu ta marche par ce grand désert ; pendant ces quarante ans, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, a été avec toi ; tu n'as manqué de rien. |

And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion–gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab. |
Et nous laissâmes nos frères, les fils d'Ésaü, qui habitent en Séhir, passant devant la plaine, devant Élath et Étsion-Guéber, et nous nous tournâmes, et nous passâmes par le chemin du désert de Moab. |

And we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, by the plain, by Elath, and by Ezion-geber, and we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab. |
Y nos alejamos del territorio de nuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, por el camino del Arabá desde Elat y Ezión-geber; y volvimos, y tomamos el camino del desierto de Moab. |

And the Lord said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession. |
Et l'Éternel me dit : Tu n'attaqueras pas Moab, et tu ne te mettras pas en guerre avec eux, car je ne te donnerai rien de leur pays en possession, car j'ai donné Ar en possession aux fils de Lot. |

And Jehovah said to me, Distress not the Moabites, neither engage with them in battle; for I will not give thee of their land a possession; for unto the children of Lot have I given Ar as a possession. |
Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes a Moab,c ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, porque no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado a Ar por heredad a los hijos de Lot. |

The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; |

The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the Lord gave unto them. |
Et les Horiens habitaient auparavant en Séhir, et les fils d'Ésaü les dépossédèrent, et les détruisirent devant eux, et habitèrent à leur place, comme a fait Israël dans le pays de sa possession, que l'Éternel lui a donné.) |

And in Seir dwelt the Horites in times past; and the children of Esau dispossessed them, and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did to the land of their possession, which Jehovah gave to them.) |

Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered. |
Maintenant, levez-vous et passez le torrentb de Zéred. — Et nous passâmes le torrentb de Zéred. |

And the space in which we came from Kadesh–barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the Lord sware unto them. |
Et les jours que nous avons marché depuis Kadès-Barnéa jusqu'à ce que nous ayons passé le torrentc de Zéred, ont été trente-huit ans, jusqu'à ce que toute la génération des hommes de guerre ait péri du milieu du camp, comme l'Éternel le leur avait juré. |

Now the days in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we had come over the torrent Zered, were thirty-eight years; until the whole generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, as Jehovah had sworn unto them. |
Y los días que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta cuando pasamos el arroyo de Zered fueron treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campamento, como Jehová les había jurado.d |

For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed. |
Et la main de l'Éternel a aussi été contre eux, pour les détruire du milieu du camp, jusqu'à ce qu'ils eussent péri. |

So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people, |

Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day: |

Thou art to pass this day over the border of Moab, which is Ar, |
Tú pasarás hoy el territorio de Moab, a Ar. |
| 19 |
And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession. |
et tu t'approcheras vis-à-vis des fils d'Ammon ; tu ne les attaqueras pas, et tu n'engageras pas de lutte avec eux, car je ne te donnerai rien du pays des fils d'Ammon en possession, parce que je l'ai donné en possession aux fils de Lot. |

and come near over against the children of Ammon; thou shalt not distress them nor attack them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon a possession; for unto the children of Lot have I given it as a possession. |
Y cuando te acerques a los hijos de Amón,e no los molestes, ni contiendas con ellos; porque no te daré posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Amón, pues a los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad. |

(That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; |

As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day: |
— comme il fit pour les fils d'Ésaü, qui habitent en Séhir, lorsqu'il détruisit les Horiens devant eux, et qu'ils les dépossédèrent ; et ils ont habité à leur place jusqu'à ce jour. |

as he did to the children of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, from before whom he destroyed the Horites; and they dispossessed them, and dwelt in their stead, even to this day. |
como hizo Jehová con los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, delante de los cuales destruyó a los horeos; y ellos sucedieron a estos, y habitaron en su lugar hasta hoy. |

And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.) |
Et quant aux Avviens qui habitaient dans des hameaux jusqu'à Gaza, les Caphtorim, sortis de Caphtor, les détruisirent et habitèrent à leur place.) |

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. |
Levez-vous, partez, et passez le torrent de l'Arnon. Regarde, j'ai livré en ta main Sihon, roi de Hesbon, l'Amoréen, et son pays : commence, prends possession, et fais-lui la guerre. |

Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon. Behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the king of Heshbon, the Amorite, and his land: begin, take possession, and engage with him in battle. |
Levantaos, salid, y pasad el arroyo de Arnón; he aquí he entregado en tu mano a Sehón rey de Hesbón, amorreo, y a su tierra; comienza a tomar posesión de ella, y entra en guerra con él. |

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. |
Aujourd'hui je commencerai à mettre la frayeur et la peur de toi sur les peuples, sous tous les cieux ; car ils entendront le bruit de ce que tu faise, et ils trembleront, et seront en angoisse devant toi. |

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the peoples under the whole heaven; who will hear report of thee, and will tremble, and quake because of thee. |
Hoy comenzaré a poner tu temor y tu espanto sobre los pueblos debajo de todo el cielo, los cuales oirán tu fama, y temblarán y se angustiarán delante de ti. |

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying, |
Et j'envoyai, du désert de Kedémoth, des messagers à Sihon, roi de Hesbon, avec des paroles de paix, disant : |

Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left. |
Je passerai par ton pays ; j'irai seulement par le chemin, je ne m'écarterai ni à droite ni à gauche. |

Pasaré por tu tierra por el camino; por el camino iré, sin apartarme ni a diestra ni a siniestra. |

(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the Lord our God giveth us. |
comme m'ont fait les fils d'Ésaü qui habitent en Séhir, et les Moabites qui habitent à Ar ; jusqu'à ce que je passe le Jourdain [et que j'entre] dans le pays que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous donne. |

--as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did to me, --until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us. |
como lo hicieron conmigo los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, y los moabitas que habitaban en Ar; hasta que cruce el Jordán a la tierra que nos da Jehová nuestro Dios. |

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the Lord thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day. |
Et Sihon, roi de Hesbon, ne voulut pas nous laisser passer par son [pays] ; car l'Éternel, ton Dieu, avait endurci son esprit et roidi son cœur, afin de le livrer en ta main, comme [il paraît] aujourd'hui. |

But Sihon the king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obdurate, that he might give him into thy hand, as it is this day. |
Mas Sehón rey de Hesbón no quiso que pasásemos por el territorio suyo; porque Jehová tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y obstinado su corazón para entregarlo en tu mano, como hasta hoy. |

And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. |
Et l'Éternel me dit : Regarde, j'ai commencé à livrer devant toi Sihon et son pays : commence, prends possession, afin que tu possèdes son pays. |

Y me dijo Jehová: He aquí yo he comenzado a entregar delante de ti a Sehón y a su tierra; comienza a tomar posesión de ella para que la heredes. |

Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. |
— Et Sihon sortit à notre rencontre, lui et tout son peuple, à Jahats, pour livrer bataille. |

And Sihon came out against us for battle, he and all his people, to Jahaz. |
Y nos salió Sehón al encuentro, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Jahaza. |

And the Lord our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. |
Et l'Éternel, notre Dieu, le livra devant nous ; et nous le battîmes, lui, et ses fils, et tout son peuple ; |

But Jehovah our God gave him up before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and his whole people. |
Mas Jehová nuestro Dios lo entregó delante de nosotros; y lo derrotamos a él y a sus hijos, y a todo su pueblo. |

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain: |
et nous prîmes toutes ses villes, en ce temps-là, et nous détruisîmes entièrement toutes les villes, hommes, et femmes, et enfants ; nous ne laissâmes pas un réchappé ; |

And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every city, men, and women, and little ones: we let none escape. |
Tomamos entonces todas sus ciudades, y destruimos todas las ciudades, hombres, mujeres y niños; no dejamos ninguno. |

Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took. |
seulement, nous pillâmes pour nous les bêtes et le butin des villes que nous avions prises. |

Solamente tomamos para nosotros los ganados, y los despojos de las ciudades que habíamos tomado. |

From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the Lord our God delivered all unto us: |
Depuis Aroër, qui est sur le bord du torrent de l'Arnon, et la ville qui est dans le torrent, jusqu'à Galaad, il n'y eut pas de ville qui fût trop haute pour nous ; l'Éternel, notre Dieu, livra tout devant nous. |

From Aroer, which is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the ravine even to Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: Jehovah our God delivered all before us. |
Desde Aroer, que está junto a la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en el valle, hasta Galaad, no hubo ciudad que escapase de nosotros; todas las entregó Jehová nuestro Dios en nuestro poder. |
| 37 |
Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the Lord our God forbad us. |
Seulement, tu ne t'es pas approché du pays des fils d'Ammon, de toute la rive du torrent de Jabbok, ni des villes de la montagne, ni de tout ce que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous avait commandé [de ne pas toucher]. |
|
Only thou didst not approach the land of the children of Ammon, the whole border of the river Jabbok, nor the cities of the mountain, nor to whatsoever Jehovah our God had forbidden us. |
Solamente a la tierra de los hijos de Amón no llegamos; ni a todo lo que está a la orilla del arroyo de Jaboc ni a las ciudades del monte, ni a lugar alguno que Jehová nuestro Dios había prohibido. |
