And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. |

And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. |
et ils lui dirent : Voici, tu es vieux, et tes fils ne marchent pas dans tes voies ; maintenant, établis sur nous un roi pour nous juger, comme toutes les nations. |

and said to him, Behold, thou art become old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now appoint us a king to judge us, like all the nations. |
y le dijeron: He aquí tú has envejecido, y tus hijos no andan en tus caminos; por tanto, constitúyenos ahora un rey que nos juzgue, como tienen todas las naciones.a |

But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. |
Et la chose fut mauvaise aux yeux de Samuel, qu'ils eussent dit : Donne-nous un roi pour nous juger. Et Samuel pria l'Éternel. |

And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Samuel : Écoute la voix du peuple en tout ce qu'ils te disent ; car ce n'est pas toi qu'ils ont rejeté, mais c'est moi qu'ils ont rejeté, afin que je ne règne pas sur eux. |

And Jehovah said to Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. |
Y dijo Jehová a Samuel: Oye la voz del pueblo en todo lo que te digan; porque no te han desechado a ti, sino a mí me han desechado, para que no reine sobre ellos. |

According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. |
Selon toutes les actions qu'ils ont commises, depuis le jour où je les ai fait monter d'Égypte, jusqu'à ce jour, en ce qu'ils m'ont abandonné et ont servi d'autres dieux : ainsi ils font aussi à ton égard. |

According to all the deeds that they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, in that they have forsaken me and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. |
Conforme a todas las obras que han hecho desde el día que los saqué de Egipto hasta hoy, dejándome a mí y sirviendo a dioses ajenos, así hacen también contigo. |

Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. |
Et maintenant, écoute leur voix ; seulement tu leur rendras clairement témoignage, et tu leur annonceras le régime du roi qui régnera sur eux. |

And now hearken unto their voice; only, testify solemnly unto them, and declare unto them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. |
Ahora, pues, oye su voz; mas protesta solemnemente contra ellos, y muéstrales cómo les tratará el rey que reinará sobre ellos. |

And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. |
Et Samuel dit toutes les paroles de l'Éternel au peuple qui lui demandait un roi. |

Y refirió Samuel todas las palabras de Jehová al pueblo que le había pedido rey. |

And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. |
Et il dit : Ce sera ici le régime du roi qui régnera sur vous : il prendra vos fils et les mettra pour lui sur son char et parmi ses cavaliers, et ils courront devant son char ; |

And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: he will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, on his chariot and among his horsemen, and they shall run before his chariots; |
Dijo, pues: Así hará el rey que reinará sobre vosotros: tomará vuestros hijos, y los pondrá en sus carros y en su gente de a caballo, para que corran delante de su carro; |

And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. |
et [il les prendra] pour s'en faire des chefs de milliers et des chefs de cinquantaines, et pour labourer ses champs, et pour récolter sa moisson, et pour faire ses instruments de guerre et l'attirail de ses chars. |

and he will take them that he may appoint for himself captains over thousands, and captains over fifties, and that they may plough his ground, and reap his harvest, and make his instruments of war and instruments of his chariots. |
y nombrará para sí jefes de miles y jefes de cincuentenas; los pondrá asimismo a que aren sus campos y sieguen sus mieses, y a que hagan sus armas de guerra y los pertrechos de sus carros. |

And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. |
Et il prendra vos filles pour parfumeuses et pour cuisinières et pour boulangères. |

Tomará también a vuestras hijas para que sean perfumadoras, cocineras y amasadoras. |

And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. |
Et il prendra vos champs et vos vignes et vos oliviers, les meilleurs, et les donnera à ses serviteurs ; |

And your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, the best, will he take and give to his servants. |
Asimismo tomará lo mejor de vuestras tierras, de vuestras viñas y de vuestros olivares, y los dará a sus siervos. |

And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. |
et il prendra la dîme de vos semences et de vos vignes, et la donnera à ses eunuquesa et à ses serviteurs ; |

And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. |
et il prendra vos serviteurs et vos servantes et vos jeunes hommes d'élite, les meilleurs, et vos ânes, et les emploiera à ses ouvrages ; |

And he will take your bondmen, and your bondwomen, and your comeliest young men, and your asses, and use them for his work. |
Tomará vuestros siervos y vuestras siervas, vuestros mejores jóvenes, y vuestros asnos, y con ellos hará sus obras. |

He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants. |
il dîmera votre menu bétail, et vous serez ses serviteurs. |

And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day. |
Et en ce jour-là vous crierez à cause de votre roi que vous vous serez choisi ; mais l'Éternel ne vous exaucera pas, en ce jour-là. |

And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king whom ye have chosen; and Jehovah will not answer you in that day. |
Y clamaréis aquel día a causa de vuestro rey que os habréis elegido, mas Jehová no os responderá en aquel día. |

Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; |
Et le peuple refusa d'écouter la voix de Samuel ; et ils dirent : Non, mais il y aura un roi sur nous, |

And the people refused to hearken to the voice of Samuel; and they said, No, but there shall be a king over us, |
Pero el pueblo no quiso oír la voz de Samuel, y dijo: No, sino que habrá rey sobre nosotros; |

That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles. |
et nous serons, nous aussi, comme toutes les nations ; et notre roi nous jugera, et il sortira devant nous et conduira nos guerres. |

And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the Lord. |
Et Samuel écouta toutes les paroles du peuple, et les rapporta aux oreilles de l'Éternel. |

And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Samuel : Écoute leur voix, et établis sur eux un roi. Et Samuel dit aux hommes d'Israël : Allez chacun dans sa ville. |

Y Jehová dijo a Samuel: Oye su voz, y pon rey sobre ellos. Entonces dijo Samuel a los varones de Israel: Idos cada uno a vuestra ciudad. |
