And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; |
☆ Et il se trouva que, lorsque David et ses hommes arrivèrent à Tsiklag, le troisième jour, les Amalékites avaient fait une incursion sur le [pays du] midi, et sur Tsiklag ; et ils avaient frappé Tsiklag et l'avaient brûlée par le feu ; |

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. |

And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. |

And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. |
Et David interrogea l'Éternel, disant : Poursuivrai-je cette troupe ? l'atteindrai-je ? Et il lui dit : Poursuis, car tu l'atteindras certainement, et tu recouvreras tout. |

And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he said to him, Pursue; for thou shalt assuredly overtake them and shalt certainly recover. |
Y David consultó a Jehová, diciendo: ¿Perseguiré a estos merodeadores? ¿Los podré alcanzar? Y él le dijo: Síguelos, porque ciertamente los alcanzarás, y de cierto librarás a los cautivos. |

So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed. |
Et David s'en alla, lui et les six cents hommes qui étaient avec lui, et ils arrivèrent au torrent de Besçor ; et ceux qui restaient en arrière s'arrêtèrent. |

And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water; |

And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights. |
ils lui donnèrent aussi un morceau de gâteau de figues sèches et deux gâteaux de raisins secs, et il mangea ; et l'esprit lui revint, car il n'avait pas mangé de pain et n'avait pas bu d'eau, pendant trois jours et trois nuits. |

Le dieron también un pedazo de masa de higos secos y dos racimos de pasas. Y luego que comió, volvió en él su espíritu; porque no había comido pan ni bebido agua en tres días y tres noches. |

And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days agone I fell sick. |
Et David lui dit : À qui es-tu ? et d'où es-tu ? Et il dit : Je suis un garçon égyptien, serviteur d'un homme amalékite ; et mon maître m'a abandonné, il y a trois jours, car j'étais malade. |

We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire. |
Nous avons fait une incursion au midi des Keréthiens, et sur ce qui est à Juda, et sur le midi de Caleb, et nous avons brûlé Tsiklag par le feu. |

And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company. |
Et David lui dit : Me ferais-tu descendre vers cette troupe ? Et il dit : Jure-moi par Dieu que tu ne me feras pas mourir, et que tu ne me livreras pas en la main de mon maître, et je te ferai descendre vers cette troupe. |

And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this troop? And he said, Swear to me by God, that thou wilt neither put me to death nor deliver me up into the hand of my master, and I will bring thee down to this troop. |
Y le dijo David: ¿Me llevarás tú a esa tropa? Y él dijo: Júrame por Dios que no me matarás, ni me entregarás en mano de mi amo, y yo te llevaré a esa gente. |

And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah. |
Et il l'y fit descendre. Et voici, ils étaient répandus sur la face de tout le pays, mangeant et buvant, et dansant, à cause de tout le grand butin qu'ils avaient enlevé du pays des Philistins et du pays de Juda. |

And he brought him down, and behold, they were spread over the whole land, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah. |
Lo llevó, pues; y he aquí que estaban desparramados sobre toda aquella tierra, comiendo y bebiendo y haciendo fiesta, por todo aquel gran botín que habían tomado de la tierra de los filisteos y de la tierra de Judá. |

And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled. |
Et David les frappa depuis le crépuscule jusqu'au soir du lendemain, et aucun d'eux n'échappa, sauf quatre cents jeunes hommes qui s'enfuirent montés sur des chameaux. |

And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all. |
Et il n'y eut rien qui leur manquât, petits ou grands, fils ou filles, butin, ou quoi que ce fût qu'on leur avait pris : David ramena tout. |

And there was nothing missed by them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil nor anything that they had taken: David brought all back. |
Y no les faltó cosa alguna, chica ni grande, así de hijos como de hijas, del robo, y de todas las cosas que les habían tomado; todo lo recuperó David. |

And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David’s spoil. |

Et David vint vers les deux cents hommes qui avaient été trop fatigués pour suivre David, et qu'on avait fait rester auprès du torrent de Besçor ; et ils sortirent à la rencontre de David et à la rencontre du peuple qui était avec lui ; et David s'approcha du peuple, et les interrogea touchant leur bien-être. |

And David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow David, and whom they had left behind at the torrent Besor; and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him; and David drew near to the people and saluted them. |
Y vino David a los doscientos hombres que habían quedado cansados y no habían podido seguir a David, a los cuales habían hecho quedar en el torrente de Besor; y ellos salieron a recibir a David y al pueblo que con él estaba. Y cuando David llegó a la gente, les saludó con paz. |

Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart. |
Et tout homme méchant et iniquea, d'entre les hommes qui étaient allés avec David, répondit et dit : Puisqu'ils ne sont pas venus avec nous, nous ne leur donnerons pas du butin que nous avons recouvré, sauf à chacun sa femme et ses fils ; et qu'ils les emmènent et s'en aillent. |

And all the wicked men, and men of Belial, of those that had gone with David, answered and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them aught of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away and depart. |
Entonces todos los malos y perversos de entre los que habían ido con David, respondieron y dijeron: Porque no fueron con nosotros, no les daremos del botín que hemos quitado, sino a cada uno su mujer y sus hijos; que los tomen y se vayan. |

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the Lord hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand. |
Mais David dit : Vous ne ferez pas ainsi mes frères, avec ce que nous a donné l'Éternel, qui nous a gardés et a livré entre nos mains la troupe qui était venue contre nous. |

Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which Jehovah has given us, who has preserved us, and given the troop that came against us into our hand. |
Y David dijo: No hagáis eso, hermanos míos, de lo que nos ha dado Jehová, quien nos ha guardado, y ha entregado en nuestra mano a los merodeadores que vinieron contra nosotros. |

For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike. |
Et qui vous écoutera dans cette affaire ? Car telle qu'est la part de celui qui descend à la bataille, telle sera la part de celui qui demeure auprès du bagage : ils partageront ensemble. |

And who will hearken to you in this matter? For as his share is that goes down to the battle, so shall his share be that abides by the baggage: they shall share alike. |
¿Y quién os escuchará en este caso? Porque conforme a la parte del que desciende a la batalla, así ha de ser la parte del que queda con el bagaje; les tocará parte igual. |

And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day. |
Et il en fut [ainsi] depuis ce jour-là et dans la suite, et on l'établit comme statut et comme ordonnance en Israël, jusqu'à ce jour. |

And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the Lord; |
Et David revint à Tsiklag, et envoya du butin aux anciens de Juda, à ses amis, disant : Voici un présentb pour vous, sur le butin des ennemis de l'Éternel. |

And David came to Ziklag, and he sent of the spoil to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of Jehovah: |
Y cuando David llegó a Siclag, envió del botín a los ancianos de Judá, sus amigos, diciendo: He aquí un presente para vosotros del botín de los enemigos de Jehová. |
