David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him. |

And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men. |
Et tout homme qui était dans la détresse, et tout homme qui était dans les dettes, et tout homme qui avait de l'amertume dans l'âme, s'assembla vers lui, et il fut leur chef ; et il y eut avec lui environ quatre cents hommes. |

And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me. |
Et David s'en alla de là à Mitspé de Moab, et il dit au roi de Moab : Je te prie, que mon père et ma mère se retirenta chez vous jusqu'à ce que je sache ce que Dieu fera de moi. |

And David went thence to Mizpeh in Moab, and said to the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth amongst you, till I know what God will do for me. |
Y se fue David de allí a Mizpa de Moab, y dijo al rey de Moab: Yo te ruego que mi padre y mi madre estén con vosotros, hasta que sepa lo que Dios hará de mí. |

And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold. |

And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth. |
Et Gad, le prophète, dit à David : Ne demeure pas dans ce lieu fort ; va, et entre dans le pays de Juda. Et David s'en alla et entra dans la forêt de Héreth. |

And the prophet Gad said to David, Abide not in the stronghold; depart, and go into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth. |
Pero el profeta Gad dijo a David: No te estés en este lugar fuerte; anda y vete a tierra de Judá. Y David se fue, y vino al bosque de Haret. |

When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;) |
Et Saül entendit que David et les hommes qui étaient avec lui s'étaient montrés. Et Saül était assis à Guibha sous un tamariscc, sur la hauteur, sa lance à la main, et tous ses serviteurs se tenaient auprès de lui. |

And Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him. Now Saul was sitting in Gibeah under the tamarisk upon the height, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing by him. |
Oyó Saúl que se sabía de David y de los que estaban con él. Y Saúl estaba sentado en Gabaa, debajo de un tamarisco sobre un alto; y tenía su lanza en su mano, y todos sus siervos estaban alrededor de él. |

Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds; |
Et Saül dit à ses serviteurs qui se tenaient auprès de lui : Écoutez, Benjaminites : Le fils d'Isaï vous donnera-t-il, à vous tous aussi, des champs et des vignes ? Vous établira-t-il tous chefs de milliers et chefs de centaines, |

Then Saul said to his servants that stood by him, Hear now, ye Benjaminites: will the son of Jesse give every one of you also fields and vineyards? Will he make you all captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, |
Y dijo Saúl a sus siervos que estaban alrededor de él: Oíd ahora, hijos de Benjamín: ¿Os dará también a todos vosotros el hijo de Isaí tierras y viñas, y os hará a todos vosotros jefes de millares y jefes de centenas, |

That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day? |
que vous ayez tous conspiré contre moi, et que personne ne m'avertisse quand mon fils fait alliance avec le fils d'Isaï, et que personne d'entre vous ne soit peiné pour moi et ne m'avertisse que mon fils a soulevé contre moi mon serviteur pour me dresser des embûches, comme [il le fait] aujourd'hui ? |

that all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that informs me when my son has made a covenant with the son of Jesse; and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or informs me that my son has stirred up my servant as a lier-in-wait against me, as at this day? |
para que todos vosotros hayáis conspirado contra mí, y no haya quien me descubra al oído cómo mi hijo ha hecho alianza con el hijo de Isaí, ni alguno de vosotros que se duela de mí y me descubra cómo mi hijo ha levantado a mi siervo contra mí para que me aceche, tal como lo hace hoy? |

Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub. |
Et Doëg, l'Édomite, qui était établi sur les serviteurs de Saül, répondit et dit : J'ai vu le fils d'Isaï venir à Nob vers Akhimélec, fils d'Akhitub ; |

Then answered Doeg the Edomite, who was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub. |
Entonces Doeg edomita, que era el principal de los siervos de Saúl, respondió y dijo: Yo vi al hijo de Isaí que vino a Nob, a Ahimelec hijo de Ahitob, |

And he enquired of the Lord for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine. |
et il a interrogé l'Éternel pour lui, et il lui a donné des provisions, et il lui a donné l'épée de Goliath, le Philistin. |

Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father’s house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king. |
Et le roi envoya appeler Akhimélec, le sacrificateur, fils d'Akhitub, et toute la maison de son père, les sacrificateurs qui étaient à Nob ; et ils vinrent tous vers le roi. |

And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord. |

And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast enquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day? |
Et Saül lui dit : Pourquoi avez-vous conspiré contre moi, toi et le fils d'Isaï, que tu lui aies donné du pain et une épée, et que tu aies interrogé Dieu pour lui, afin qu'il s'élevât contre moi pour me dresser des embûches, comme [il le fait] aujourd'hui ? |

And Saul said to him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me as a lier-in-wait, as at this day? |
Y le dijo Saúl: ¿Por qué habéis conspirado contra mí, tú y el hijo de Isaí, cuando le diste pan y espada, y consultaste por él a Dios, para que se levantase contra mí y me acechase, como lo hace hoy día? |

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king’s son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house? |
Et Akhimélec répondit au roi, et dit : Et qui, parmi tous tes serviteurs, est comme David, fidèle, et gendre du roi, et ayant accès à tes audiences privées, et honoré dans ta maison ? |

And Ahimelech answered the king and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and has access to thy secret council, and is honourable in thy house? |
Entonces Ahimelec respondió al rey, y dijo: ¿Y quién entre todos tus siervos es tan fiel como David, yerno también del rey, que sirve a tus órdenes y es ilustre en tu casa? |

Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more. |
Ai-je commencé aujourd'hui à interroger Dieu pour lui ? Loin de moi ! Que le roi ne mette aucune chose à la charge de son serviteur [ni de personne] de toute la maison de mon père, car de tout ceci ton serviteur ne sait aucune chose, ni petite, ni grande. |

Was it to-day that I began to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king charge anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more. |
¿He comenzado yo desde hoy a consultar por él a Dios? Lejos sea de mí; no culpe el rey de cosa alguna a su siervo, ni a toda la casa de mi padre; porque tu siervo ninguna cosa sabe de este asunto, grande ni pequeña. |

And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house. |
Et le roi [lui] dit : Certainement tu mourras Akhimélec, toi et toute la maison de ton père. |

And the king said, Thou shalt certainly die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house. |
Y el rey dijo: Sin duda morirás, Ahimelec, tú y toda la casa de tu padre. |

And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the Lord; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the Lord. |
Et le roi dit aux coureurs qui se tenaient près de lui : Tournez-vous, et mettez à mort les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel, parce que leur main aussi est avec David, et parce qu'ils ont bien su qu'il s'enfuyait, et qu'ils ne m'en ont point averti. Et les serviteurs du roi ne voulurent pas étendre leurs mains pour se jeter sur les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel. |

And the king said to the couriers that stood about him, Turn and put the priests of Jehovah to death; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not inform me. But the servants of the king were not willing to put forth their hand to fall on the priests of Jehovah. |
Entonces dijo el rey a la gente de su guardia que estaba alrededor de él: Volveos y matad a los sacerdotes de Jehová; porque también la mano de ellos está con David, pues sabiendo ellos que huía, no me lo descubrieron. Pero los siervos del rey no quisieron extender sus manos para matar a los sacerdotes de Jehová. |

And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod. |
Et le roi dit à Doëg : Tourne-toi, et jette-toi sur les sacrificateurs. Et Doëg, l'Édomite, se tourna, et se jeta sur les sacrificateurs ; et il mit à mort, ce jour-là, quatre-vingt-cinq hommes portant l'éphod de lin. |

And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall on the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and fell on the priests, and put to death that day eighty-five persons who wore the linen ephod. |
Entonces dijo el rey a Doeg: Vuelve tú, y arremete contra los sacerdotes. Y se volvió Doeg el edomita y acometió a los sacerdotes, y mató en aquel día a ochenta y cinco varones que vestían efod de lino. |

And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword. |
Et [Saül] frappa Nob, ville des sacrificateurs, par le tranchant de l'épée, homme et femme, enfant et celui qui tète, bœuf et âne, et mouton, par le tranchant de l'épée. |

And Nob, the city of the priests, he smote with the edge of the sword, both men and women, infants and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword. |
Y a Nob, ciudad de los sacerdotes, hirió a filo de espada; así a hombres como a mujeres, niños hasta los de pecho, bueyes, asnos y ovejas, todo lo hirió a filo de espada. |

And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David. |
Et un des fils d'Akhimélec, fils d'Akhitub, dont le nom était Abiathar, se sauva, et s'enfuit après David. |

And Abiathar shewed David that Saul had slain the Lord’s priests. |
Et Abiathar rapporta à David que Saül avait tué les sacrificateurs de l'Éternel. |

And Abiathar informed David that Saul had slain Jehovah's priests. |
Y Abiatar dio aviso a David de cómo Saúl había dado muerte a los sacerdotes de Jehová. |

And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father’s house. |
Et David dit à Abiathar : Je le savais, ce jour-là, lorsque Doëg, l'Édomite, était là, qu'il ne manquerait pas de le rapporter à Saül ; moi je suis cause [de la mort] de tous ceux de la maison de ton père. |

And David said to Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would certainly tell Saul: I am accountable for all the lives of thy father's house. |
Y dijo David a Abiatar: Yo sabía que estando allí aquel día Doeg el edomita, él lo había de hacer saber a Saúl. Yo he ocasionado la muerte a todas las personas de la casa de tu padre. |

Demeure avec moi, ne crains point ; car celui qui cherche ma vie, cherche ta vie, et près de moi tu seras bien gardé. |
