And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. |
☆ Et Samuel dit à tout Israël : Voici, j'ai écouté votre voix en tout ce que vous m'avez dit, et j'ai établi un roi sur vous. |

Dijo Samuel a todo Israel: He aquí, yo he oído vuestra voz en todo cuanto me habéis dicho, y os he puesto rey. |

And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. |
Et maintenant, voici, le roi marche devant vous ; et moi, je suis vieux et j'ai blanchi ; et voici, mes fils sont avec vous ; et moi, j'ai marché devant vous depuis ma jeunesse jusqu'à ce jour. |

And now behold, the king walks before you; and I am old and grey-headed; and behold, my sons are with you; and I have walked before you from my youth up to this day. |
Ahora, pues, he aquí vuestro rey va delante de vosotros. Yo soy ya viejo y lleno de canas; pero mis hijos están con vosotros, y yo he andado delante de vosotros desde mi juventud hasta este día. |

Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. |
Me voici, témoignez contre moi, devant l'Éternel et devant son oint. De qui ai-je pris le bœuf ? ou de qui ai-je pris l'âne ? ou à qui ai-je fait tort ? à qui ai-je fait violence ? ou de la main de qui ai-je pris un présenta pour que par lui j'eusse fermé mes yeux ? et je vous le rendrai. |

Here I am: testify against me before Jehovah, and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I injured? or of whose hand have I received any ransom and blinded mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it to you. |
Aquí estoy; atestiguad contra mí delante de Jehová y delante de su ungido, si he tomado el buey de alguno, si he tomado el asno de alguno, si he calumniado a alguien, si he agraviado a alguno, o si de alguien he tomado cohecho para cegar mis ojos con él; y os lo restituiré. |

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand. |
Et ils dirent : Tu ne nous as point fait tort, et tu ne nous as point fait violence, et tu n'as rien pris de la main de personne. |

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, and thou hast not injured us, neither hast thou taken aught of any man's hand. |
Entonces dijeron: Nunca nos has calumniado ni agraviado, ni has tomado algo de mano de ningún hombre. |

And he said unto them, The Lord is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness. |
Et il leur dit : L'Éternel est témoin contre vous, et son oint est témoin aujourd'hui, que vous n'avez rien trouvé dans ma main. Et ils dirent : [Il en est] témoin. |

And he said to them, Jehovah is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found aught in my hand! And the people said, He is witness! |
Y él les dijo: Jehová es testigo contra vosotros, y su ungido también es testigo en este día, que no habéis hallado cosa alguna en mi mano. Y ellos respondieron: Así es. |

And Samuel said unto the people, It is the Lord that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. |
Et Samuel dit au peuple : C'est l'Éternel qui a établi Moïse et Aaron, et qui a fait monter vos pères du pays d'Égypte. |

And Samuel said to the people, It is Jehovah who appointed Moses and Aaron, and who brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. |
Entonces Samuel dijo al pueblo: Jehová que designó a Moisés y a Aarón,a y sacó a vuestros padres de la tierra de Egipto, es testigo. |

Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the Lord of all the righteous acts of the Lord, which he did to you and to your fathers. |
Et maintenant, présentez-vous, et je vous jugerai devant l'Éternel au sujet de tous les actes justes de l'Éternel, qu'il a opérés envers vous et envers vos pères. |

And now stand still, that I may plead with you before Jehovah of all the righteous acts of Jehovah which he did to you and to your fathers. |
Ahora, pues, aguardad, y contenderé con vosotros delante de Jehová acerca de todos los hechos de salvación que Jehová ha hecho con vosotros y con vuestros padres. |

When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the Lord, then the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. |
Quand Jacob fut entré en Égypte, vos pères crièrent à l'Éternel, et l'Éternel envoya Moïse et Aaron ; et ils firent sortir vos pères hors d'Égypte, et les firent habiter dans ce lieu-ci. |

When Jacob had come into Egypt, and your fathers cried to Jehovah, then Jehovah sent Moses and Aaron, and they brought your fathers forth out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. |
Cuando Jacob hubo entrado en Egipto, y vuestros padres clamaron a Jehová,b Jehová envió a Moisés y a Aarón, los cuales sacaron a vuestros padres de Egipto, y los hicieron habitar en este lugar. |

And when they forgat the Lord their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them. |
Et ils oublièrent l'Éternel, leur Dieu, et il les vendit en la main de Sisera, chef de l'armée de Hatsor, et en la main des Philistins, et en la main du roi de Moab, qui leur firent la guerre. |

And they forgot Jehovah their God, and he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them. |
Y olvidaron a Jehová su Dios, y él los vendió en mano de Sísarac jefe del ejército de Hazor, y en mano de los filisteos,d y en mano del rey de Moab,e los cuales les hicieron guerra. |

And they cried unto the Lord, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee. |
Et ils crièrent à l'Éternel, et dirent : Nous avons péché ; car nous avons abandonné l'Éternel, et nous avons servi les Baals et les Ashtoreths. Et maintenant, délivre-nous de la main de nos ennemis, et nous te servirons. |

And they cried to Jehovah and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken Jehovah, and have served the Baals and the Ashtoreths; and now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee. |
Y ellos clamaron a Jehová, y dijeron: Hemos pecado, porque hemos dejado a Jehová y hemos servido a los baales y a Astarot; líbranos, pues, ahora de mano de nuestros enemigos, y te serviremos.f |

And the Lord sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe. |
Et l'Éternel envoya Jerubbaal, et Bedanb, et Jephthé, et Samuel, et il vous délivra de la main de vos ennemis tout autour, et vous avez habité en sécurité. |

And Jehovah sent Jerubbaal and Bedan and Jephthah and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies round about, so that ye dwelt in safety. |
Entonces Jehová envió a Jerobaal,g a Barac,h a Jeftéi y a Samuel,j y os libró de mano de vuestros enemigos en derredor, y habitasteis seguros. |

And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the Lord your God was your king. |
Et vous avez vu que Nakhash, roi des fils d'Ammon, venait contre vous, et vous m'avez dit : Non, mais un roi régnera sur nous, — et l'Éternel, votre Dieu, était votre roi. |

But when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said to me, Nay, but a king shall reign over us; when Jehovah your God was your king. |
Y habiendo visto que Nahas rey de los hijos de Amón venía contra vosotros, me dijisteis: No, sino que ha de reinar sobre nosotros un rey;k siendo así que Jehová vuestro Dios era vuestro rey. |

Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the Lord hath set a king over you. |
Et maintenant, voici le roi que vous avez choisi, que vous avez demandé ; et voici, l'Éternel a mis un roi sur vous. |

And now behold, the king whom ye have chosen, whom ye have asked for! and behold, Jehovah has set a king over you. |
Ahora, pues, he aquí el rey que habéis elegido, el cual pedisteis; ya veis que Jehová ha puesto rey sobre vosotros. |

If ye will fear the Lord, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the Lord your God: |
Si vous craignez l'Éternel et que vous le serviez, et que vous écoutiez sa voix, et que vous ne soyez pas rebelles au commandementc de l'Éternel, alors vous, et le roi qui règne sur vous, vous irez après l'Éternel, votre Dieu. |

If ye fear Jehovah, and serve him, and hearken to his voice, and rebel not against the commandment of Jehovah, then both ye and the king also that reigns over you shall continue following Jehovah your God. |
Si temiereis a Jehová y le sirviereis, y oyereis su voz, y no fuereis rebeldes a la palabra de Jehová, y si tanto vosotros como el rey que reina sobre vosotros servís a Jehová vuestro Dios, haréis bien. |

But if ye will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall the hand of the Lord be against you, as it was against your fathers. |
Mais si vous n'écoutez pas la voix de l'Éternel, et si vous vous rebellez contre le commandementc de l'Éternel, alors la main de l'Éternel sera contre vous comme contre vos pères. |

But if ye will not hearken to the voice of Jehovah, and if ye rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, then will the hand of Jehovah be against you, as against your fathers. |
Mas si no oyereis la voz de Jehová, y si fuereis rebeldes a las palabras de Jehová, la mano de Jehová estará contra vosotros como estuvo contra vuestros padres. |

Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes. |
Aussi, tenez-vous là maintenant, et voyez cette grande chose que l'Éternel va opérer devant vos yeux. |

Esperad aún ahora, y mirad esta gran cosa que Jehová hará delante de vuestros ojos. |

Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the Lord, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking you a king. |
N'est-ce pas aujourd'hui la moisson des froments ? Je crierai à l'Éternel, et il enverra des tonnerres et de la pluie ; et vous saurez et vous verrez que le mal que vous avez fait est grand aux yeux de l'Éternel, d'avoir demandé un roi pour vous. |

Is it not wheat-harvest to-day? I will call unto Jehovah, and he will send thunder and rain; and ye shall perceive and see that your wickedness is great which ye have done in the sight of Jehovah in asking for yourselves a king. |
¿No es ahora la siega del trigo? Yo clamaré a Jehová, y él dará truenos y lluvias, para que conozcáis y veáis que es grande vuestra maldad que habéis hecho ante los ojos de Jehová, pidiendo para vosotros rey. |

So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel. |
Et Samuel cria à l'Éternel, et l'Éternel envoya des tonnerres et de la pluie, ce jour-là ; et tout le peuple craignit beaucoup l'Éternel et Samuel. |

And Samuel called to Jehovah; and Jehovah sent thunder and rain that day. And all the people greatly feared Jehovah and Samuel. |
Y Samuel clamó a Jehová, y Jehová dio truenos y lluvias en aquel día; y todo el pueblo tuvo gran temor de Jehová y de Samuel. |

And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the Lord thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king. |
Et tout le peuple dit à Samuel : Prie l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour tes serviteurs, afin que nous ne mourions point ; car, à tous nos péchés, nous avons ajouté ce mal d'avoir demandé un roi pour nous. |

And all the people said to Samuel, Pray to Jehovah thy God for thy servants, that we die not; for we have added to all our sins the wickedness to ask for ourselves a king. |
Entonces dijo todo el pueblo a Samuel: Ruega por tus siervos a Jehová tu Dios, para que no muramos; porque a todos nuestros pecados hemos añadido este mal de pedir rey para nosotros. |

And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart; |
Et Samuel dit au peuple : Ne craignez pas. Vous avez fait tout ce mal, seulement ne vous détournez pas ded l'Éternel, et servez l'Éternel de tout votre cœur ; |

And Samuel said to the people, Fear not: *ye* have done all this wickedness; yet turn not aside from following Jehovah, and serve Jehovah with all your heart; |
Y Samuel respondió al pueblo: No temáis; vosotros habéis hecho todo este mal; pero con todo eso no os apartéis de en pos de Jehová, sino servidle con todo vuestro corazón. |

And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. |
et ne vous détournez point, car [ce serait vous en aller] après des choses de néant, qui ne profitent pas et ne délivrent pas, car ce sont des choses de néant. |

and turn ye not aside; for it would be after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. |
No os apartéis en pos de vanidades que no aprovechan ni libran, porque son vanidades. |
| 22 |
For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people. |
Car l'Éternel, à cause de son grand nom, n'abandonnera point son peuple, parce que l'Éternel s'est plu à faire de vous son peuple. |

For Jehovah will not cast away his people for his great name's sake; because it has pleased Jehovah to make you his people. |
Pues Jehová no desamparará a su pueblo, por su grande nombre; porque Jehová ha querido haceros pueblo suyo. |

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: |
Quant à moi aussi, loin de moi que je pèche contre l'Éternel, que je cesse de prier pour vous ; mais je vous enseignerai le bon et le droit chemin. |

Así que, lejos sea de mí que peque yo contra Jehová cesando de rogar por vosotros; antes os instruiré en el camino bueno y recto. |

Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. |
Seulement, craignez l'Éternel, et servez-le en vérité, de tout votre cœur ; car voyez quelles grandes choses il a faites pour vous. |

But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king. |
Mais si vous vous adonnez au mal, vous périrez, vous et votre roi. |
