Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not his father. |
☆ Et il arriva qu'un jour Jonathan, fils de Saül, dit au jeune homme qui portait ses armes : Viens, et passons jusqu'au poste des Philistins qui est là, de l'autre côté ; mais il n'en avertit pas son père. |

Now it came to pass one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man that bore his armour, Come and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison which is on the other side. But he did not tell his father. |
Aconteció un día, que Jonatán hijo de Saúl dijo a su criado que le traía las armas: Ven y pasemos a la guarnición de los filisteos, que está de aquel lado. Y no lo hizo saber a su padre. |

And Saul tarried in the uttermost part of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree which is in Migron: and the people that were with him were about six hundred men; |
Et Saül se tenait à l'extrémité de Guibha, sous un grenadier qui était à Migron ; et le peuple qui était avec lui était d'environ six cents hommes. |

And Ahiah, the son of Ahitub, I–chabod’s brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the Lord’s priest in Shiloh, wearing an ephod. And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone. |
Et Akhija, fils d'Akhitub, frère d'I-Cabod, fils de Phinées, fils d'Éli, sacrificateur de l'Éternel à Silo, portait l'éphod. Et le peuple ne savait pas que Jonathan s'en fût allé. |

(And Ahijah the son of Ahitub, Ichabod's brother, the son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, Jehovah's priest in Shiloh, wore the ephod.) And the people did not know that Jonathan was gone. |
Y Ahías hijo de Ahitob, hermano de Icabod, hijo de Finees, hijo de Elí, sacerdote de Jehová en Silo, llevaba el efod; y no sabía el pueblo que Jonatán se hubiese ido. |

And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over unto the Philistines’ garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a sharp rock on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh. |
Et entre les passages par lesquels Jonathan cherchait à passer vers le poste des Philistins, il y avait une dent de rocher d'un côté, et une dent de rocher de l'autre côté : et le nom de l'une était Botsets, et le nom de l'autre Séné ; |

The forefront of the one was situate northward over against Michmash, and the other southward over against Gibeah. |
l'une des dents se dressait à pic du côté du nord, vis-à-vis de Micmash, et l'autre, du côté du midi, vis-à-vis de Guéba. |

The one crag formed a pillar on the north opposite to Michmash, and the other on the south opposite to Geba. |
Uno de los peñascos estaba situado al norte, hacia Micmas, y el otro al sur, hacia Gabaa. |

And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will work for us: for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few. |
Et Jonathan dit au jeune homme qui portait ses armes : Viens, et passons jusqu'au poste de ces incirconcis ; peut-être que l'Éternel opérera pour nous, car rien n'empêche l'Éternel de sauver, avec beaucoup ou avec peu [de gens]. |

And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour, Come, and let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised: perhaps Jehovah will work for us; for there is no restraint to Jehovah to save by many or by few. |
Dijo, pues, Jonatán a su paje de armas: Ven, pasemos a la guarnición de estos incircuncisos; quizá haga algo Jehová por nosotros, pues no es difícil para Jehová salvar con muchos o con pocos. |

And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart. |
Et celui qui portait ses armes lui dit : Fais tout ce qui est dans ton cœur ; va où tu voudrasa, voici, je suis avec toi selon ton cœur. |

And his armour-bearer said to him, Do all that is in thy heart; turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart. |
Y su paje de armas le respondió: Haz todo lo que tienes en tu corazón; ve, pues aquí estoy contigo a tu voluntad. |

Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto these men, and we will discover ourselves unto them. |
Et Jonathan dit : Voici, nous allons passer vers ces hommes et nous nous montrerons à eux. |

Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over to the men, and we will shew ourselves to them. |
Dijo entonces Jonatán: Vamos a pasar a esos hombres, y nos mostraremos a ellos. |

If they say thus unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them. |
S'ils nous disent ainsi : Tenez-vous là jusqu'à ce que nous vous joignions, alors nous nous tiendrons à notre place, et nous ne monterons pas vers eux ; |

If they say thus to us, Stand still until we come to you, then we will stay in our place, and will not go up to them. |
Si nos dijeren así: Esperad hasta que lleguemos a vosotros, entonces nos estaremos en nuestro lugar, y no subiremos a ellos. |

But if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the Lord hath delivered them into our hand: and this shall be a sign unto us. |
et s'ils disent ainsi : Montez vers nous, alors nous monterons, car l'Éternel les aura livrés en notre main ; et ce sera pour nous le signe. |

And if they say thus, Come up to us, then we will go up; for Jehovah has given them into our hand; and this shall be the sign to us. |
Mas si nos dijeren así: Subid a nosotros, entonces subiremos, porque Jehová los ha entregado en nuestra mano; y esto nos será por señal. |

And both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves. |
Et ils se montrèrent les deux au poste des Philistins ; et les Philistins dirent : Voici les Hébreux qui sortent des trous où ils se sont cachés. |

And both of them shewed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines; and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes where they had hid themselves. |
Se mostraron, pues, ambos a la guarnición de los filisteos, y los filisteos dijeron: He aquí los hebreos, que salen de las cavernas donde se habían escondido. |

And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the Lord hath delivered them into the hand of Israel. |
Et les hommes du poste répondirent à Jonathan et à celui qui portait ses armes, et dirent : Montez vers nous, et nous vous ferons savoir quelque chose. Et Jonathan dit à celui qui portait ses armes : Monte après moi, car l'Éternel les a livrés en la main d'Israël. |

And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armour-bearer and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you something. And Jonathan said to his armour-bearer, Come up after me; for Jehovah has delivered them into the hand of Israel. |
Y los hombres de la guarnición respondieron a Jonatán y a su paje de armas, y dijeron: Subid a nosotros, y os haremos saber una cosa. Entonces Jonatán dijo a su paje de armas: Sube tras mí, porque Jehová los ha entregado en manos de Israel. |

And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and his armourbearer slew after him. |
Et Jonathan monta avec ses mains et ses pieds, et celui qui portait ses armes après lui. Et ils tombèrent devant Jonathan, et celui qui portait ses armes les tuait après lui. |

And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his feet, and his armour-bearer after him; and they fell before Jonathan; and his armour-bearer slew after him. |
Y subió Jonatán trepando con sus manos y sus pies, y tras él su paje de armas; y a los que caían delante de Jonatán, su paje de armas que iba tras él los mataba. |

And that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were an half acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow. |
Et ce premier coup que frappèrent Jonathan et celui qui portait ses armes, mit [par terre]b une vingtaine d'hommes, sur la moitié environ du sillon d'un arpent de terre. |

And that first slaughter which Jonathan and his armour-bearer wrought was about twenty men, as it were on the half-furrow of an acre of land. |
Y fue esta primera matanza que hicieron Jonatán y su paje de armas, como veinte hombres, en el espacio de una media yugada de tierra. |

And there was trembling in the host, in the field, and among all the people: the garrison, and the spoilers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked: so it was a very great trembling. |
Et l'épouvantec fut dans le camp, dans la campagne et parmi tout le peuple ; le poste et les ravageurs, eux aussi, furent saisis d'épouvantec ; et le pays trembla, et ce fut une frayeur de Dieu. |

And there was trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people; the garrison, and the ravagers, they also trembled, and the earth quaked; for it was a trembling from God. |
Y hubo pánico en el campamento y por el campo, y entre toda la gente de la guarnición; y los que habían ido a merodear, también ellos tuvieron pánico, y la tierra tembló; hubo, pues, gran consternación. |

And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude melted away, and they went on beating down one another. |
Et les sentinelles de Saül, qui étaient à Guibha de Benjamin, regardèrent, et voici, la multitude s'écoulait, et s'en allait, et ils s'entre-tuaientd. |

And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked, and behold, the multitude melted away, and they went on slaying one another. |
Y los centinelas de Saúl vieron desde Gabaa de Benjamín cómo la multitud estaba turbada, e iba de un lado a otro y era deshecha. |

Then said Saul unto the people that were with him, Number now, and see who is gone from us. And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there. |
Et Saül dit au peuple qui était avec lui : Faites donc l'appel, et voyez qui s'en est allé d'avec nous. Et ils firent l'appel ; et voici, Jonathan n'y était pas, ni celui qui portait ses armes. |

Then said Saul to the people that were with him, Muster now, and see who is gone from us. And they mustered, and behold, Jonathan and his armour-bearer were not there. |
Entonces Saúl dijo al pueblo que estaba con él: Pasad ahora revista, y ved quién se haya ido de los nuestros. Pasaron revista, y he aquí que faltaba Jonatán y su paje de armas. |

And Saul said unto Ahiah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel. |
Et Saül dit à Akhija : Fais approcher l'archee de Dieu (car l'arche de Dieu était en ce jour-là avec les fils d'Israël). |

And Saul said to Ahijah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark of God was at that time with the children of Israel. |
Y Saúl dijo a Ahías: Trae el arca de Dios. Porque el arca de Dios estaba entonces con los hijos de Israel. |

And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that was in the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand. |
Et il arriva que, pendant que Saül parlait au sacrificateur, le tumulte qui était dans le camp des Philistins allait toujours croissant ; et Saül dit au sacrificateur : Retire ta main. |

And it came to pass while Saul talked to the priest, that the noise which was in the camp of the Philistines went on and increased; and Saul said to the priest, Withdraw thy hand. |
Pero aconteció que mientras aún hablaba Saúl con el sacerdote, el alboroto que había en el campamento de los filisteos aumentaba, e iba creciendo en gran manera. Entonces dijo Saúl al sacerdote: Detén tu mano. |

And Saul and all the people that were with him assembled themselves, and they came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture. |
Et Saül et tout le peuple qui était avec lui furent assemblés à grands cris, et vinrent à la bataille ; et voici, l'épée de chacun était contre l'autre : ce fut une confusion terrible. |

And Saul and all the people that were with him were called together, and they came to the battle; and behold, every man's sword was against his fellow, a very great confusion. |
Y juntando Saúl a todo el pueblo que con él estaba, llegaron hasta el lugar de la batalla; y he aquí que la espada de cada uno estaba vuelta contra su compañero, y había gran confusión. |

Moreover the Hebrews that were with the Philistines before that time, which went up with them into the camp from the country round about, even they also turned to be with the Israelites that were with Saul and Jonathan. |
Et il y avait, comme auparavant, des Hébreux parmi les Philistinsf, lesquels étaient montés avec eux dans le camp, [de tout] alentour, et eux aussi [se tournèrent] pour être avec Israël qui était avec Saül et Jonathan. |

And there were Hebrews with the Philistines before that time, who had gone up with them into the camp round about; and they also turned to be with the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan. |
Y los hebreos que habían estado con los filisteos de tiempo atrás, y habían venido con ellos de los alrededores al campamento, se pusieron también del lado de los israelitas que estaban con Saúl y con Jonatán. |

Likewise all the men of Israel which had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle. |
Et tous les hommes d'Israël qui s'étaient cachés dans la montagne d'Éphraïm, entendirent que les Philistins fuyaient, et ils s'attachèrent, eux aussi, à leur poursuite dans la bataille. |

And all the men of Israel who had hid themselves in mount Ephraim heard that the Philistines fled, and they also followed hard after them in the battle. |
Asimismo todos los israelitas que se habían escondido en el monte de Efraín, oyendo que los filisteos huían, también ellos los persiguieron en aquella batalla. |

So the Lord saved Israel that day: and the battle passed over unto Beth–aven. |
Et l'Éternel sauva Israël ce jour-là. Et la bataille s'étendit au delà de Beth-Aven. |

And Jehovah saved Israel that day; and the battle passed over beyond Beth-Aven. |
Así salvó Jehová a Israel aquel día. Y llegó la batalla hasta Bet-avén. |

And the men of Israel were distressed that day: for Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until evening, that I may be avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted any food. |
Et les hommes d'Israël furent accablés ce jour-là. Or Saül avait adjuré le peuple, disant : Maudit soit l'homme qui mangera du pain, jusqu'au soir, et [jusqu'à ce] que je me sois vengé de mes ennemis ; et, entre tout le peuple, nul ne goûta de pain. |

But the men of Israel were distressed that day. Now Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth food until evening, and until I am avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted food. |
Pero los hombres de Israel fueron puestos en apuro aquel día; porque Saúl había juramentado al pueblo, diciendo: Cualquiera que coma pan antes de caer la noche, antes que haya tomado venganza de mis enemigos, sea maldito. Y todo el pueblo no había probado pan. |

And all they of the land came to a wood; and there was honey upon the ground. |
Et tout le [peuple du] pays vint dans une forêt ; et il y avait du miel sur le dessus des champs. |

Y todo el pueblo llegó a un bosque, donde había miel en la superficie del campo. |

And when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the oath. |
Et le peuple entra dans la forêt ; et voici du miel qui coulait ; mais nul ne porta sa main à sa bouche, car le peuple avait peur du serment. |

But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened. |
Et Jonathan n'avait pas entendu, lorsque son père avait fait jurer le peuple, et il étendit le bout du bâton qu'il avait à la main et le trempa dans un rayon de miel et ramena sa main à sa bouche, et ses yeux furent éclaircis. |

But Jonathan had not heard when his father adjured the people; and he put forth the end of his staff which was in his hand, and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth, and his eyes became bright. |
Pero Jonatán no había oído cuando su padre había juramentado al pueblo, y alargó la punta de una vara que traía en su mano, y la mojó en un panal de miel, y llevó su mano a la boca; y fueron aclarados sus ojos. |

Then answered one of the people, and said, Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day. And the people were faint. |
Et quelqu'un du peuple répondit et dit : Ton père a fait expressément jurer le peuple, en disant : Maudit soit l'homme qui mangera du pain aujourd'hui ! et le peuple était fatigué. |

Then answered one of the people and said, Thy father strictly adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth food this day; and the people are faint. |
Entonces habló uno del pueblo, diciendo: Tu padre ha hecho jurar solemnemente al pueblo, diciendo: Maldito sea el hombre que tome hoy alimento. Y el pueblo desfallecía. |

Then said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey. |
Et Jonathan dit : Mon père a troublé le pays. Voyez donc comme mes yeux ont été éclaircis parce que j'ai goûté un peu de ce miel ! |

And Jonathan said, My father has troubled the land: see, I pray you, that mine eyes are bright, because I tasted a little of this honey. |
Respondió Jonatán: Mi padre ha turbado el país. Ved ahora cómo han sido aclarados mis ojos, por haber gustado un poco de esta miel. |

How much more, if haply the people had eaten freely to day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for had there not been now a much greater slaughter among the Philistines? |
Qu'eût-ce été, si le peuple avait aujourd'hui mangé du butin de ses ennemis qu'il a trouvé ? maintenant la défaite des Philistins n'aurait-elle pas été plus grande ? |

How much more, if the people had eaten freely to-day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for would there not now have been a much greater slaughter among the Philistines? |
¿Cuánto más si el pueblo hubiera comido libremente hoy del botín tomado de sus enemigos? ¿No se habría hecho ahora mayor estrago entre los filisteos? |

And they smote the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon: and the people were very faint. |
Et ils frappèrent ce jour-là les Philistins, depuis Micmash jusqu'à Ajalon ; et le peuple fut très-fatigué. |

And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people did eat them with the blood. |
Et le peuple se jeta sur le butin, et ils prirent du menu et du gros bétail, et des veaux, et ils les égorgèrent sur le sol ; et le peuple les mangeait avec le sang. |

And the people fell on the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground; and the people ate them with the blood. |
Y se lanzó el pueblo sobre el botín, y tomaron ovejas y vacas y becerros, y los degollaron en el suelo; y el pueblo los comió con sangre. |

Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the Lord, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone unto me this day. |
Et on le rapporta à Saül, en disant : Voici, le peuple pèche contre l'Éternel en mangeant avec le sang. Et il dit : Vous avez agi infidèlement. Roulez à présent vers moi une grande pierre. |

And they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against Jehovah, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have acted perversely: roll me now a great stone. |
Y le dieron aviso a Saúl, diciendo: El pueblo peca contra Jehová, comiendo la carne con la sangre.a Y él dijo: Vosotros habéis prevaricado; rodadme ahora acá una piedra grande. |

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the Lord in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there. |
Et Saül dit : Dispersez-vous parmi le peuple, et dites-leur : Amenez-moi chacun son bœuf et chacun son moutong, et égorgez-les ici et mangez ; et ne péchez pas contre l'Éternel en mangeant avec le sang. Et cette nuit-là, tout le peuple amena chacun son bœuf à la main, et ils les égorgèrent là. |

And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, Bring near to me every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slaughter them here, and eat; and sin not against Jehovah in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slaughtered them there. |
Además dijo Saúl: Esparcíos por el pueblo, y decidles que me traigan cada uno su vaca, y cada cual su oveja, y degolladlas aquí, y comed; y no pequéis contra Jehová comiendo la carne con la sangre. Y trajo todo el pueblo cada cual por su mano su vaca aquella noche, y las degollaron allí. |

And Saul built an altar unto the Lord: the same was the first altar that he built unto the Lord. |
Et Saül bâtit un autel à l'Éternel ; ce fut le premier autel qu'il bâtit à l'Éternel. |

And Saul built an altar to Jehovah: this was the first altar he built to Jehovah. |
Y edificó Saúl altar a Jehová; este altar fue el primero que edificó a Jehová. |

And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God. |
Et Saül dit : Descendons de nuit après les Philistins, et pillons-les jusqu'à la lumière du matin, et n'en laissons pas un homme de reste. Et ils dirent : Fais tout ce qui est bon à tes yeux. Et le sacrificateur dit : Approchons-nous ici de Dieu. |

And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and plunder them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever is good in thy sight. Then said the priest, Let us come near hither to God. |
Y dijo Saúl: Descendamos de noche contra los filisteos, y los saquearemos hasta la mañana, y no dejaremos de ellos ninguno. Y ellos dijeron: Haz lo que bien te pareciere. Dijo luego el sacerdote: Acerquémonos aquí a Dios. |

And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day. |
Et Saül interrogea Dieu : Descendrai-je après les Philistins ? Les livreras-tu en la main d'Israël ? Et il ne lui répondit pas ce jour-là. |

And Saul inquired of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou give them into the hand of Israel? But he did not answer him that day. |
Y Saúl consultó a Dios: ¿Descenderé tras los filisteos? ¿Los entregarás en mano de Israel? Mas Jehová no le dio respuesta aquel día. |

And Saul said, Draw ye near hither, all the chief of the people: and know and see wherein this sin hath been this day. |
Et Saül dit : Approchez ici, vous tous les principauxh du peuple, et sachez et voyez comment ce péché est arrivé aujourd'hui ; |

Entonces dijo Saúl: Venid acá todos los principales del pueblo, y sabed y ved en qué ha consistido este pecado hoy; |

For, as the Lord liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him. |
car l'Éternel qui a sauvé Israël est vivant, que si c'était par Jonathan, mon fils, il mourra certainement ! Et personne de tout le peuple ne lui répondit. |

For, as Jehovah liveth, who has saved Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall certainly die. And no one answered him among all the people. |
porque vive Jehová que salva a Israel, que aunque fuere en Jonatán mi hijo, de seguro morirá. Y no hubo en todo el pueblo quien le respondiese. |

Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee. |
Et il dit à tout Israël : Vous, soyez d'un côté, et moi et Jonathan, mon fils, nous serons de l'autre côté. Et le peuple dit à Saül : Fais ce qui est bon à tes yeux. |

Then said he to all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said to Saul, Do what is good in thy sight. |
Dijo luego a todo Israel: Vosotros estaréis a un lado, y yo y Jonatán mi hijo estaremos al otro lado. Y el pueblo respondió a Saúl: Haz lo que bien te pareciere. |

Therefore Saul said unto the Lord God of Israel, Give a perfect lot. And Saul and Jonathan were taken: but the people escaped. |
Et Saül dit à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Donne [un sorti] parfait. Et Jonathan et Saül furent pris, et le peuple échappa. |

And Saul said to Jehovah the God of Israel, Give a perfect testimony ! And Jonathan and Saul were taken, and the people escaped. |
Entonces dijo Saúl a Jehová Dios de Israel: Da suerte perfecta. Y la suerte cayó sobre Jonatán y Saúl, y el pueblo salió libre. |

And Saul said, Cast lots between me and Jonathan my son. And Jonathan was taken. |
Et Saül dit : Jetez le sort entre moi et Jonathan, mon fils. Et Jonathan fut pris. |

Then Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die. |
Et Saül dit à Jonathan : Déclare-moi ce que tu as fait. Et Jonathan le lui déclara, et dit : Je n'ai fait que goûter un peu de miel avec le bout du bâton que j'avais à la main, [et] voici, je meurs ! |

And Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him and said, With the end of the staff which is in my hand I tasted a little honey, and behold, I must die! |
Entonces Saúl dijo a Jonatán: Declárame lo que has hecho. Y Jonatán se lo declaró y dijo: Ciertamente gusté un poco de miel con la punta de la vara que traía en mi mano; ¿y he de morir? |

And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan. |
Et Saül dit : Que Dieu [me] fasse ainsi, et ainsi y ajoute, si tu ne meurs certainement, Jonathan ! |

And Saul said, God do so to me and more also; thou shalt certainly die, Jonathan. |
Y Saúl respondió: Así me haga Dios y aun me añada, que sin duda morirás, Jonatán. |

And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the Lord liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not. |
Et le peuple dit à Saül : Jonathan, qui a opéré cette grande délivrance en Israël, mourra-t-il ? Qu'ainsi n'advienne ! L'Éternel est vivant, s'il tombe à terre un des cheveux de sa tête ! car il a opéré avec Dieu aujourd'hui. Et le peuple délivra Jonathan, et il ne mourut pas. |

And the people said to Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who has wrought this great salvation in Israel? Far be it! as Jehovah liveth, there shall not a hair of his head fall to the ground; for he has wrought with God this day. So the people delivered Jonathan, that he died not. |
Entonces el pueblo dijo a Saúl: ¿Ha de morir Jonatán, el que ha hecho esta grande salvación en Israel? No será así. Vive Jehová, que no ha de caer un cabello de su cabeza en tierra, pues que ha actuado hoy con Dios. Así el pueblo libró de morir a Jonatán. |

Then Saul went up from following the Philistines: and the Philistines went to their own place. |

So Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them. |
Et Saül prit la royauté sur Israël, et il fit la guerre tout à l'entour contre tous ses ennemis : contre Moab, et contre les fils d'Ammon, et contre Édom, et contre les rois de Tsoba, et contre les Philistins ; et partout où il se tournait, il les châtiait. |

And Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies round about, against Moab, and against the children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the Philistines; and whithersoever he turned himself, he discomfited them . |
Después de haber tomado posesión del reinado de Israel, Saúl hizo guerra a todos sus enemigos en derredor: contra Moab, contra los hijos de Amón, contra Edom, contra los reyes de Soba, y contra los filisteos; y adondequiera que se volvía, era vencedor. |

And he gathered an host, and smote the Amalekites, and delivered Israel out of the hands of them that spoiled them. |

Now the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui, and Melchi–shua: and the names of his two daughters were these; the name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the younger Michal: |
Et les fils de Saül étaient Jonathan, et Jishvi, et Malki-Shua ; et les noms de ses deux filles : le nom de l'aînée était Mérab, et le nom de la plus jeune, Mical. |

And the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Jishvi, and Malchi-shua. And the names of his two daughters: the name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the younger Michal. |
Y los hijos de Saúl fueron Jonatán, Isúi y Malquisúa. Y los nombres de sus dos hijas eran, el de la mayor, Merab, y el de la menor, Mical. |

And the name of Saul’s wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was Abner, the son of Ner, Saul’s uncle. |
Et le nom de la femme de Saül était Akhinoam, fille d'Akhimaats ; et le nom du chef de son armée était Abnerk, fils de Ner, oncle de Saül. |

And there was sore war against the Philistines all the days of Saul: and when Saul saw any strong man, or any valiant man, he took him unto him. |
Et la guerre fut forte contre les Philistins durant tous les jours de Saül ; et quand Saül voyait quelque homme fort et quelque homme vaillant, il le prenait auprès de lui. |

And there was sore war against the Philistines all the days of Saul; and when Saul saw any mighty man, or any valiant man, he took him to himself. |
