Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: |
Fils d'homme, parle aux fils de ton peuple, et dis-leur : Si je fais venir l'épée sur un pays, et que le peuple du pays prenne un homme d'entre eux tous, et se le donne pour sentinelle ; |

Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them all, and set him for their watchman: |
Hijo de hombre, habla a los hijos de tu pueblo, y diles: Cuando trajere yo espada sobre la tierra, y el pueblo de la tierra tomare un hombre de su territorio y lo pusiere por atalaya, |

If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; |
et qu'il voie venir l'épée sur le pays, et sonne de la trompette, et avertisse le peuple ; |

if he see the sword coming upon the land, and blow the trumpet, and warn the people; |
y él viere venir la espada sobre la tierra, y tocare trompeta y avisare al pueblo, |

Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. |
et que quelqu'un entende bien le son de la trompette, mais ne reçoive pas l'avertissement, et que l'épée vienne et le saisisse, son sang sera sur sa tête. |

then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning, if the sword come and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. |
cualquiera que oyere el sonido de la trompeta y no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada lo hiriere, su sangre será sobre su cabeza. |

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. |
Il a entendu le son de la trompette, et n'a pas reçu l'avertissement : son sang est sur lui ; alors que s'il eût reçu l'avertissement, il aurait délivré son âme. |

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood is upon him: whereas had he taken warning, he would have delivered his soul. |
El sonido de la trompeta oyó, y no se apercibió; su sangre será sobre él; mas el que se apercibiere librará su vida. |

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand. |
Mais si la sentinelle voit venir l'épée, et ne sonne pas de la trompette, et que le peuple ne soit pas averti, et que l'épée vienne et saisisse quelqu'una d'entre eux, lui est saisi dans son iniquité ; mais je redemanderai son sang de la main de la sentinelle. |

But if the watchman see the sword coming, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned, if the sword come and take a person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. |
Pero si el atalaya viere venir la espada y no tocare la trompeta, y el pueblo no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada, hiriere de él a alguno, este fue tomado por causa de su pecado, pero demandaré su sangre de mano del atalaya. |

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, je t'ai établi sentinelle pour la maison d'Israël, et tu entendras la parole de ma bouche, et tu les avertiras de ma part. |

So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; and thou shalt hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me. |
A ti, pues, hijo de hombre, te he puesto por atalaya a la casa de Israel, y oirás la palabra de mi boca, y los amonestarás de mi parte. |

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. |
Quand je dirai au méchant : Méchant, certainement tu mourras ! et que tu ne parleras pas pour avertir le méchant à l'égard de sa voie, lui, le méchant, mourra dans son iniquité ; mais je redemanderai son sang de ta main. |

When I say unto the wicked, Wicked man , thou shalt certainly die; and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. |
Cuando yo dijere al impío: Impío, de cierto morirás; si tú no hablares para que se guarde el impío de su camino, el impío morirá por su pecado, pero su sangre yo la demandaré de tu mano. |

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. |
Et si tu avertis le méchant à l'égard de sa voie, pour qu'il s'en détourne, et qu'il ne se détourne pas de sa voie, il mourra, lui, dans son iniquité ; mais toi, tu as délivré ton âme. |

But if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. |
Y si tú avisares al impío de su camino para que se aparte de él, y él no se apartare de su camino, él morirá por su pecado, pero tú libraste tu vida. |

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? |
Et toi, fils d'homme, dis à la maison d'Israël : Vous avez parlé ainsi, disant : Nos transgressions et nos péchés sont sur nous, et nous sommes consumés parb eux, et comment vivrions-nous ? |

And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel, Thus ye speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we waste away in them, how then should we live? |
Tú, pues, hijo de hombre, di a la casa de Israel: Vosotros habéis hablado así, diciendo: Nuestras rebeliones y nuestros pecados están sobre nosotros, y a causa de ellos somos consumidos; ¿cómo, pues, viviremos? |

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? |
Dis-leur : Je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, si je prends plaisir en la mort du méchant,… mais [plutôt] à ce que le méchant se détourne de sa voie et qu'il vive ! Détournez-vous, détournez-vous de vos mauvaises voies ; et pourquoi mourriez-vous, maison d'Israël ? |

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? |
Diles: Vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, que no quiero la muerte del impío, sino que se vuelva el impío de su camino, y que viva. Volveos, volveos de vuestros malos caminos; ¿por qué moriréis, oh casa de Israel? |

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, dis aux fils de ton peuple : La justice du juste ne le délivrera pas, au jour de sa transgression ; et la méchanceté du méchant ne le fera pas tomberc, au jour où il se détournera de sa méchanceté ; et le juste ne pourra pas vivre par sa justiced, au jour où il péchera. |

And thou, son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live thereby in the day that he sinneth. |
Y tú, hijo de hombre, di a los hijos de tu pueblo: La justicia del justo no lo librará el día que se rebelare; y la impiedad del impío no le será estorbo el día que se volviere de su impiedad; y el justo no podrá vivir por su justicia el día que pecare. |

When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. |
Quand j'aurai dit au juste que certainement il vivra, et que lui se confie en sa justice et commette l'iniquité, de tous ses actes justes, aucun ne viendra en mémoire, mais dans son iniquité qu'il a commise il mourra. |

When I say to the righteous that he shall certainly live, and he trusteth to his righteousness and doeth what is wrong, none of his righteous acts shall be remembered; but in his unrighteousness which he hath done, in it shall he die. |
Cuando yo dijere al justo: De cierto vivirás, y él confiado en su justicia hiciere iniquidad, todas sus justicias no serán recordadas, sino que morirá por su iniquidad que hizo. |

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; |
Et quand j'aurai dit au méchant : Certainement tu mourras,… s'il se détourne de son péché, et pratique le jugement et la justice ; |

And when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt certainly die, and he turneth from his sin, and doeth judgment and justice; |
Y cuando yo dijere al impío: De cierto morirás; si él se convirtiere de su pecado, e hiciere según el derecho y la justicia, |
| 15 |
If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. |
si le méchant rend le gage, restitue ce qu'il a pillé, marche dans les statuts de la vie, en ne commettant pas l'iniquité, certainement il vivra, il ne mourra pas. |

if the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, doing nothing that is wrong; he shall certainly live, he shall not die. |
si el impío restituyere la prenda, devolviere lo que hubiere robado, y caminare en los estatutos de la vida, no haciendo iniquidad, vivirá ciertamente y no morirá. |

None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. |
De tous ses péchés qu'il a commis, aucun ne viendra en mémoire contre lui : il a pratiqué le jugement et la justice ; certainement il vivra. |

No se le recordará ninguno de sus pecados que había cometido; hizo según el derecho y la justicia; vivirá ciertamente. |

Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. |
Et les fils de ton peuple disent : La voie du Seigneur n'est pas réglée ; mais c'est eux dont la voie n'est pas réglée. |

Luego dirán los hijos de tu pueblo: No es recto el camino del Señor; el camino de ellos es el que no es recto. |

When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. |
Quand le juste se détournera de sa justice et pratiquera l'iniquité, il en mourra. |

When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and doeth what is wrong, then he shall die therein. |
Cuando el justo se apartare de su justicia, e hiciere iniquidad, morirá por ello. |

But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. |
Et quand le méchant se détournera de sa méchanceté et pratiquera le jugement et la justice, il vivra à cause de cela. |

And when the wicked turneth from his wickedness, and doeth judgment and justice, he shall live for these things. |
Y cuando el impío se apartare de su impiedad, e hiciere según el derecho y la justicia, vivirá por ello. |

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. |
Et vous dites : La voie du Seigneur n'est pas réglée. Je vous jugerai, chacun selon ses voies, maison d'Israël. |

Y dijisteis: No es recto el camino del Señor. Yo os juzgaré, oh casa de Israel, a cada uno conforme a sus caminos. |

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten. |
☆ Et il arriva, la douzième annéee de notre transportation, au dixième [mois], le cinquième [jour] du mois, qu'un réchappé de Jérusalem vint vers moi, disant : La ville est frappée. |

And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month , on the fifth of the month, that one who had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten! |
Aconteció en el año duodécimo de nuestro cautiverio, en el mes décimo, a los cinco días del mes, que vino a mí un fugitivo de Jerusalén, diciendo: La ciudad ha sido conquistada.a |

Now the hand of the Lord was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. |
Et la main de l'Éternel avait été sur moi le soir avant que vînt le réchappé, et ellef avait ouvert ma bouche jusqu'à ce qu'il vînt vers moi le matin ; ainsi ma bouche fut ouverte, et je ne fus plus muet. |

Now the hand of Jehovah had been upon me in the evening, before he that had escaped came; and he had opened my mouth against his coming to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. |
Y la mano de Jehová había sido sobre mí la tarde antes de llegar el fugitivo, y había abierto mi boca, hasta que vino a mí por la mañana; y abrió mi boca, y ya no más estuve callado. |

Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, |
Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: |

Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. |
Fils d'homme, les habitants de ces lieux désolés, sur la terre d'Israël, parlent, disant : Abraham était un seul, et il a hérité le pays ; et nous sommes plusieurs, le pays nous est donné pour héritageg. |

Son of man, they that inhabit those waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited this land, and we are many: the land is given us for a possession. |
Hijo de hombre, los que habitan aquellos lugares asolados en la tierra de Israel hablan diciendo: Abraham era uno, y poseyó la tierra; pues nosotros somos muchos; a nosotros nos es dada la tierra en posesión. |

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? |
C'est pourquoi dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Vous mangez avec le sang, et vous levez vos yeux vers vos idoles, et vous versez le sang : et vous hériteriez le pays ? |

Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood; and shall ye possess the land? |
Por tanto, diles: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¿Comeréis con sangre, y a vuestros ídolos alzaréis vuestros ojos, y derramaréis sangre, y poseeréis vosotros la tierra? |

Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess the land? |
Vous vous roidissez sur votre épée, vous commettez des abominations, et vous rendez impure, chacun de vous, la femme de son prochain : et vous hériteriez le pays ? |

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. |
Tu leur diras ainsi : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Je suis vivant, si ceux qui sont dans les lieux désolés ne tombent par l'épée ; et si je ne livre aux bêtes celui qui est par les champs, afin qu'elles le dévorent ; et si ceux qui sont dans les lieux forts et dans les cavernes ne meurent de la peste ! |

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, verily they that are in the waste places shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. |
Les dirás así: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Vivo yo, que los que están en aquellos lugares asolados caerán a espada, y al que está sobre la faz del campo entregaré a las fieras para que lo devoren; y los que están en las fortalezas y en las cuevas, de pestilencia morirán. |

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through. |
Et je réduirai le pays en désolation et en désert ; et l'orgueil de sa force cessera ; et les montagnes d'Israël seront dévastées, de sorte que personne n'y passera. |

And I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment, and the pride of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolated, so that none shall pass through. |
Y convertiré la tierra en desierto y en soledad, y cesará la soberbia de su poderío; y los montes de Israel serán asolados hasta que no haya quien pase. |

Then shall they know that I am the Lord, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed. |
Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'aurai réduit le pays en désolation et en désert, à cause de toutes leurs abominations qu'ils ont commises. |

And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment because of all their abominations which they have committed. |
Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando convierta la tierra en soledad y desierto, por todas las abominaciones que han hecho. |

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, les fils de ton peuple parlent contre toi auprès des murs et aux entrées des maisons, et ils parlent l'un avec l'autre, chacun avec son frère, disant : Venez donc, et écoutez quelle est la parole qui est sortie de la part de l'Éternel. |

And as for thee, son of man, the children of thy people keep talking of thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from Jehovah. |
Y tú, hijo de hombre, los hijos de tu pueblo se mofan de ti junto a las paredes y a las puertas de las casas, y habla el uno con el otro, cada uno con su hermano, diciendo: Venid ahora, y oíd qué palabra viene de Jehová. |

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. |
Et ils viennent vers toi comme vient un peuple, et ils s'asseyent devant toi [comme étant] mon peuple ; et ils entendent tes paroles, mais ils ne les pratiquent pas ; car de leur bouche ils disent des choses agréables, [mais] leur cœur va après leur gain déshonnête. |

And they come unto thee as a people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they do them not; for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their dishonest gain. |
Y vendrán a ti como viene el pueblo, y estarán delante de ti como pueblo mío, y oirán tus palabras, y no las pondrán por obra; antes hacen halagos con sus bocas, y el corazón de ellos anda en pos de su avaricia. |

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. |
Et voici, tu es pour eux comme un chant agréable, une belle voix, et quelqu'un qui joue bien ; et ils entendent tes paroles, mais ils ne les pratiquent nullement. |

And behold, thou art unto them as a lovely song, a pleasant voice, and one that playeth well on an instrument; and they hear thy words, but they do them not. |
Y he aquí que tú eres a ellos como cantor de amores, hermoso de voz y que canta bien; y oirán tus palabras, pero no las pondrán por obra. |

And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. |
Et quand la chose arrivera (la voici qui arrive), alors ils sauront qu'il y a eu un prophète au milieu d'eux. |

And when this cometh to pass (behold, it will come), then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them. |
Pero cuando ello viniere (y viene ya), sabrán que hubo profeta entre ellos. |
