Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, |
Fils d'homme, tourne ta face vers le sud, et distille [tes paroles] contre le midia, et prophétise contre la forêt des champs du midi, et dis à la forêt du midi : |

Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro contra Jerusalén, y derrama palabra sobre los santuarios, y profetiza contra la tierra de Israel. |

And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. |
Écoute la parole de l'Éternel : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, j'allume en toi un feu qui consumera en toi tout bois vert et tout bois sec ; la flamme flamboyante ne sera pas éteinte, et tout ce qu'elle rencontrerab en sera brûlé, du midi jusqu'au nord. |

and say to the land of Israel, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. |
Dirás a la tierra de Israel: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo estoy contra ti, y sacaré mi espada de su vaina, y cortaré de ti al justo y al impío. |

Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: |
Et toute chair verra que moi, l'Éternel, je l'ai allumé ; il ne sera pas éteint. |

That all flesh may know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more. |
Et je dis : Ah, Seigneur Éternel ! ils disent de moi : Celui-ci ne parle-t-il pas en paraboles ? |

Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. |

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord God. |
Fils d'homme, tourne ta face contre Jérusalem, et distille [tes paroles] contre les sanctuaires, et prophétise contre la terre d'Israël, |

And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore dost thou sigh? that thou shalt say, Because of the tidings, for it cometh; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall languish, and all knees shall melt into water: behold, it cometh; it is here, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
Y cuando te dijeren: ¿Por qué gimes tú?, dirás: Por una noticia que cuando llegue hará que desfallezca todo corazón, y toda mano se debilitará, y se angustiará todo espíritu, y toda rodilla será débil como el agua; he aquí que viene, y se hará, dice Jehová el Señor. |

Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the Lord; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: |
Parce que je retrancherai de toi le juste et le méchant, à cause de cela mon épée sortira de son fourreau contre toute chair, du midi jusqu'au nord ; |

Hijo de hombre, profetiza, y di: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Di: La espada, la espada está afilada, y también pulida. |

It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree. |
et toute chair saura que moi, l'Éternel, j'ai tiré mon épée de son fourreau : elle n'y retournera plus. |

Para degollar víctimas está afilada, pulida está para que relumbre. ¿Hemos de alegrarnos? Al cetro de mi hijo ha despreciado como a un palo cualquiera. |

And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, gémis à te briser les reins, gémis avec amertume devant leurs yeux. |

Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh. |
Et il arrivera que, quand ils te diront : Pourquoi gémis-tu ? tu diras : C'est à cause de la rumeur, car elle vient ; et tout cœur sera défaillant, et toutes les mains deviendront lâches, et tout esprit faiblira, et tous les genoux se fondront en eau. Voici, elle vient, elle est là, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord God. |
Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant : |

For the trial is made ; and what if even the contemning sceptre shall be no more ? saith the Lord Jehovah. |
porque está probado. ¿Y qué, si la espada desprecia aun al cetro? Él no será más, dice Jehová el Señor. |

Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers. |
Fils d'homme, prophétise, et dis : Ainsi dit l'Éternelc : Dis : L'épée, l'épée est aiguisée et aussi fourbie. |

And thou, son of man, prophesy, and smite thy hands together; for the strokes of the sword shall be doubled the third time: it is the sword of the slain, the sword that hath slain the great one, which encompasseth them privily. |
Tú, pues, hijo de hombre, profetiza, y bate una mano contra otra, y duplíquese y triplíquese el furor de la espada homicida; esta es la espada de la gran matanza que los traspasará, |

I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. |
C'est afin qu'elle égorge bien, qu'elle est aiguisée ; c'est pour briller comme l'éclair, qu'elle est fourbie. Ou bien nous réjouirions-nous, [disant] : Le sceptre de mon fils méprise tout boisd ? |

In order that the heart may melt, and the stumbling-blocks be multiplied, I have set the threatening sword against all their gates: ah! it is made glittering, it is whetted for the slaughter. |
para que el corazón desmaye, y los estragos se multipliquen; en todas las puertas de ellos he puesto espanto de espada. ¡Ah! dispuesta está para que relumbre, y preparada para degollar. |

Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set. |
Et il l'a donnée à fourbir, pour qu'on la prenne dans la main ; c'est une épée aiguisée, et elle est fourbie, pour la mettre dans la main de celui qui tue. |

Gather up strength , go to the right hand, turn thee, go to the left, whithersoever thy face is appointed. |
Corta a la derecha, hiere a la izquierda, adonde quiera que te vuelvas. |

I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the Lord have said it. |
Crie et hurle, fils d'homme ! Car elle sera contre mon peuple, elle sera contre tous les princes d'Israël : ils sont livrés à l'épée avec mon peuple ; c'est pourquoi frappe sur ta cuisse. |

And I myself will smite my hands together, and I will satisfy my fury: I Jehovah have spoken it . |
Y yo también batiré mi mano contra mi mano, y haré reposar mi ira. Yo Jehová he hablado. |

The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, |
Car l'épreuve [est faite] ; et quoi ? … si même le sceptre méprisant n'existe plus ? dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, prophétise, et frappe tes mains l'une contre l'autre, et que [les coups de] l'épée redoublent jusqu'à la troisième fois ; c'est l'épée des tués, l'épée qui a tué le grand, [et] qui les environne. |

And thou, son of man, set thee two ways, by which the sword of the king of Babylon may come--out of one land shall they both come--and make thee a signpost, make it at the head of the way to the city. |
Tú, hijo de hombre, traza dos caminos por donde venga la espada del rey de Babilonia; de una misma tierra salgan ambos; y pon una señal al comienzo de cada camino, que indique la ciudad adonde va. |

Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced. |
C'est afin que le cœur se fonde et que les occasions de chute soient multipliées, que j'envoie l'épée menaçante contre toutes leurs portes. Ah ! elle est faite pour briller comme l'éclair, et affiléee pour tuer. |

Appoint a way for the coming of the sword to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah at the fenced city of Jerusalem. |
El camino señalarás por donde venga la espada a Rabá de los hijos de Amón, y a Judá contra Jerusalén, la ciudad fortificada. |

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver. |
Ramasse [tes forces], va à droite, tourne-toi, va à gauche, où que ta face soit dirigée. |

At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort. |
Et moi aussi je frapperai mes mains l'une contre l'autre, et je satisferai ma fureur. Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé. |

In his right hand is the lot of Jerusalem to appoint battering-rams, to open the mouth for bloodshed, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering-rams against the gates, to cast mounds, to build siege-towers. |
La adivinación señaló a su mano derecha, sobre Jerusalén, para dar la orden de ataque, para dar comienzo a la matanza, para levantar la voz en grito de guerra, para poner arietes contra las puertas, para levantar vallados, y edificar torres de sitio. |

And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken. |
Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant : |

Mas para ellos esto será como adivinación mentirosa, ya que les ha hecho solemnes juramentos; pero él trae a la memoria la maldad de ellos, para apresarlos. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. |
Et toi, fils d'homme, place devant toi deux chemins par où vienne l'épée du roi de Babylone : qu'ils partent tous deux du même pays ; et fais-toi un indicateur, fais-le à l'entrée du chemin d'une ville. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because ye make your iniquity to be remembered in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand. |

And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, |
Tu disposeras un chemin pour que l'épée vienne à Rabba des fils d'Ammon, et [un chemin] en Juda, [pour que l'épée vienne] à Jérusalem, la [ville] forte. |

And thou, profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, at the time of the iniquity of the end, |
Y tú, profano e impío príncipe de Israel, cuyo día ha llegado ya, el tiempo de la consumación de la maldad, |

Thus saith the Lord God; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. |
Car le roi de Babylone se tient au point d'embranchement de la routef, à la tête des deux chemins, pour pratiquer la divination : il secoue les flèches, il interroge les théraphimg, il examine le foie. |

--thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre and take off the crown; what is shall be no more . Exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high. |
así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Depón la tiara, quita la corona; esto no será más así; sea exaltado lo bajo, y humillado lo alto. |

I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him. |
Dans sa droite est la divination touchant Jérusalem, pour placer des béliers, pour qu'on ouvre la bouche en cris de carnage, pour qu'on élève la voix en cris de guerre, pour placer des béliers contre les portes, pour élever des terrasses, pour bâtir des tours. |

I will overturn, overturn, overturn it! This also shall be no more , until he come whose right it is; and I will give it to him . |
A ruina, a ruina, a ruina lo reduciré, y esto no será más, hasta que venga aquel cuyo es el derecho, y yo se lo entregaré. |

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord God concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: |
Et ce sera pour eux, à leurs yeux, une divination fausse, pour eux qui se sont engagés par serment ; mais lui, il rappellera le souvenir de l'iniquité, pour qu'ils soient pris. |

And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus speaketh the Lord Jehovah concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and thou shalt say, A sword, a sword is drawn; for the slaughter is it furbished, that it may consume, that it may glitter: |

Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Parce que vous rappelez en mémoire votre iniquité, en ce que vos transgressions sont découvertes, de sorte que vos péchés paraissent dans toutes vos actions ; parce que vous êtes rappelés en mémoire, vous serez pris par [sa] main. |

whilst they see vanity for thee, whilst they divine a lie unto thee, to lay thee upon the necks of the wicked that are slain, whose day is come at the time of the iniquity of the end. |
Te profetizan vanidad, te adivinan mentira, para que la emplees sobre los cuellos de los malos sentenciados a muerte, cuyo día vino en el tiempo de la consumación de la maldad. |

Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity. |
Et toi, profane, méchant prince d'Israël, dont le jour est venu au temps de l'iniquité de la fin, |

Restore it to its sheath. I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth. |
¿La volveré a su vaina? En el lugar donde te criaste, en la tierra donde has vivido, te juzgaré, |

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy. |
ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Ôte la tiare, et enlève la couronne ; ce qui est ne sera plus. Élève ce qui est bas, et abaisse ce qui est élevé. |

And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow upon thee the fire of my wrath, and give thee into the hand of brutish men, skilful to destroy. |
y derramaré sobre ti mi ira; el fuego de mi enojo haré encender sobre ti, y te entregaré en mano de hombres temerarios, artífices de destrucción. |

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the Lord have spoken it. |
J'en ferai une ruineh, une ruineh, une ruineh ! Ceci aussi ne sera plus, jusqu'à ce que vienne celui auquel appartient le juste jugementi, et je le lui donnerai. |

Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt not be remembered: for I Jehovah have spoken. |
Serás pasto del fuego, se empapará la tierra de tu sangre; no habrá más memoria de ti, porque yo Jehová he hablado. |

Et toi, fils d'homme, prophétise, et dis : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, touchant les fils d'Ammon et touchant leur opprobre ; et tu diras : L'épée, l'épée est tirée, elle est fourbie pour la tuerie, pour dévorer, pour briller, |

pendant qu'ils ont pour toi des visions de vanité et qu'ils devinent pour toi le mensonge, pour te jeter sur les cous des méchants qui sont tués, dont le jour est venu au temps de l'iniquité de la fin. |

Remets-la dans son fourreau ! Je tej jugerai au lieu où tu fus créé, au pays de ton origine. |

|
Je verserai sur toi mon indignation, je soufflerai contre toi le feu de mon courroux, et je te livrerai en la main d'hommes brutaux, artisans de destruction. |

|
Tu seras pour le feu, pour être dévoré ; ton sang sera au milieu du pays ; on ne se souviendra pas de toi ; car moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé. |
