Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me. |
☆ Et des hommes d'entre les anciens d'Israël vinrent vers moi, et s'assirent devant moi. |

And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: |

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them? |
Fils d'homme, ces hommes ont élevé leurs idoles dans leurs cœurs et ont placé devant leur face la pierre d'achoppement de leur iniquité. Serais-je consulté par eux ? |

Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling-block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? |
Hijo de hombre, estos hombres han puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y han establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro. ¿Acaso he de ser yo en modo alguno consultado por ellos? |

Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; |
C'est pourquoi parle-leur, et dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Quiconque, de la maison d'Israël, aura élevé ses idoles dans son cœur et aura placé devant sa face la pierre d'achoppement de son iniquité, et viendra vers le prophète, — moi, l'Éternel, je lui répondrai selon ceci, selon la multitude de ses idoles ; |

Therefore speak to them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet, I Jehovah will answer him according to this, according to the multitude of his idols: |
Háblales, por tanto, y diles: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel que hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro, y viniere al profeta, yo Jehová responderé al que viniere conforme a la multitud de sus ídolos, |

That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols. |
afin de prendre la maison d'Israël par leur propre cœur, car ils se sont tous séparés de moi par leurs idoles. |

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. |
C'est pourquoi, dis à la maison d'Israël : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Revenez, détournez-vous de vos idoles, et détournez vos faces de toutes vos abominations. |

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Return ye, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. |
Por tanto, di a la casa de Israel: Así dice Jehová el Señor: Convertíos, y volveos de vuestros ídolos, y apartad vuestro rostro de todas vuestras abominaciones. |

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the Lord will answer him by myself: |
Car quiconque, de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent en Israël, se sépare de moi, et élève ses idoles dans son cœur et place la pierre d'achoppement de son iniquité devant sa face, et viendra vers le prophète pour me consulter par lui, — moi, l'Éternel, je lui répondrai par moi-même ; |

For every one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, who separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet to inquire of me by him, I Jehovah will answer him by myself; |
Porque cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, y de los extranjeros que moran en Israel, que se hubiere apartado de andar en pos de mí, y hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido delante de su rostro el tropiezo de su maldad, y viniere al profeta para preguntarle por mí, yo Jehová le responderé por mí mismo; |

And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. |
et je mettrai ma face contre cet homme et je le rendrai désolé de telle sorte qu'il sera en signe et en proverbe, et je le retrancherai du milieu de mon peuple ; et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel. |

and I will set my face against that man, and will make him desolate, so that he shall be for a sign and for proverbs, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah. |
y pondré mi rostro contra aquel hombre, y le pondré por señal y por escarmiento, y lo cortaré de en medio de mi pueblo; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová. |

And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |
Et si le prophète est séduit, et qu'il profère une parole, moi l'Éternel, j'ai séduit ce prophète ; et j'étendrai ma main sur lui, et je le détruirai du milieu de mon peuple Israël. |

And if the prophet be enticed and shall speak a word, I Jehovah have enticed that prophet; and I will stretch out my hand against him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |
Y cuando el profeta fuere engañado y hablare palabra, yo Jehová engañé al tal profeta; y extenderé mi mano contra él, y lo destruiré de en medio de mi pueblo Israel. |

And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him; |
Et ils porteront leur iniquité : la peine de l'iniquité du prophète sera comme la peine de l'iniquité de celui qui consulte, |

And they shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of the inquirer; |
Y llevarán ambos el castigo de su maldad; como la maldad del que consultare, así será la maldad del profeta, |

That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord God. |
afin que la maison d'Israël ne s'égare plus d'auprès de moi, et qu'ils ne se rendent plus impurs par toutes leurs transgressions. Et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieua, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither make themselves any more unclean with all their transgressions; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
para que la casa de Israel no se desvíe más de en pos de mí, ni se contamine más en todas sus rebeliones; y me sean por pueblo, y yo les sea por Dios, dice Jehová el Señor. |

The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, |

Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: |

Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it: |
Fils d'homme, si un pays pèche contre moi en commettant une infidélité, et que j'étende ma main sur lui, et que je lui brise le bâton du pain, et y envoie la famine, et retranche du milieu de lui les hommes et les bêtes, |

Son of man, when a land sinneth against me by working unfaithfulness, and I stretch out my hand upon it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine upon it, and cut off man and beast from it; |
Hijo de hombre, cuando la tierra pecare contra mí rebelándose pérfidamente, y extendiere yo mi mano sobre ella, y le quebrantare el sustento del pan, y enviare en ella hambre, y cortare de ella hombres y bestias, |

Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God. |
et que ces trois hommes, Noé, Daniel et Job, fussent au milieu de lui, ceux-ci délivreraient leurs âmes par leur justice, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, should be in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
si estuviesen en medio de ella estos tres varones, Noé, Daniel y Job, ellos por su justicia librarían únicamente sus propias vidas, dice Jehová el Señor. |

If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: |
Si je fais passer les bêtes mauvaises par le pays, et qu'elles le dépeuplent, et qu'il soit devenu une désolation en sorte que personne n'y passe à cause de ces bêtes, — |

If I cause evil beasts to pass through the land, and they bereave it, and it become a desolation, so that no one passeth through because of the beasts; |
Y si hiciere pasar bestias feroces por la tierra y la asolaren, y quedare desolada de modo que no haya quien pase a causa de las fieras, |

Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate. |
ces trois hommes fussent-ils au milieu de lui, je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, s'ils délivraient fils ou filles ! eux seuls seraient délivrés, et le pays sera une désolation. |

--though these three men should be in it, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters: they only should be delivered, and the land should be a desolation. |
y estos tres varones estuviesen en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, ni a sus hijos ni a sus hijas librarían; ellos solos serían librados, y la tierra quedaría desolada. |

Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: |
Ou, [si] je fais venir l'épée sur ce pays-là, et que je dise : Épée, passe par le pays ; et que je retranche du milieu de lui les hommes et les bêtes, — |

Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves. |
ces trois hommes fussent-ils au milieu de lui, je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ils ne délivreraient ni fils ni filles ! mais eux seuls seraient délivrés. |

and these three men should be in it, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only themselves should be delivered. |
y estos tres varones estuviesen en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, no librarían a sus hijos ni a sus hijas; ellos solos serían librados. |

Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: |
Ou, [si] j'envoie la peste sur ce pays-là, et que je verse ma fureur sur lui en [faisant couler le] sang, pour retrancher du milieu de lui les hommes et les bêtes, — |

Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast, |
O si enviare pestilencia sobre esa tierra y derramare mi ira sobre ella en sangre, para cortar de ella hombres y bestias, |

Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. |
Noé, Daniel et Job, fussent-ils au milieu de lui, je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, s'ils délivraient fils ou filles ! eux [seulement], par leur justice, délivreraient leurs âmes. |

y estuviesen en medio de ella Noé, Daniel y Job, vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, no librarían a hijo ni a hija; ellos por su justicia librarían solamente sus propias vidas. |

For thus saith the Lord God; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? |
Car ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Combien plus si j'envoie mes quatre jugements désastreux, l'épée, et la famine, et les bêtes mauvaises, et la peste, contre Jérusalem, pour en retrancher les hommes et les bêtes ! |

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast! |
Por lo cual así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¿Cuánto más cuando yo enviare contra Jerusalén mis cuatro juicios terribles, espada, hambre, fieras y pestilencia,a para cortar de ella hombres y bestias? |

Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. |
Mais voici, il y aura en elle un reste réchappé de gens qui en sortiront, des fils et des filles ; voici, ils sortiront vers vous, et vous verrez leur voie et leurs actions, et vous vous consolerez du mal que j'ai fait venir sur Jérusalem, de tout ce que j'ai fait venir sur elle. |

But behold, there shall be left in it those that escape, who shall be brought out of it , sons and daughters. Behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings; and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, as to all that I have brought upon it. |
Sin embargo, he aquí quedará en ella un remanente, hijos e hijas, que serán llevados fuera; he aquí que ellos vendrán a vosotros, y veréis su camino y sus hechos, y seréis consolados del mal que hice venir sobre Jerusalén, de todas las cosas que traje sobre ella. |

And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord God. |
Et ils vous consoleront, car vous verrez leur voie et leurs actions ; et vous saurez que ce n'est pas sans raison que j'ai fait tout ce que j'ai fait en elle, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

And they shall comfort you, when ye see their way and their doings; and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
Y os consolarán cuando viereis su camino y sus hechos, y conoceréis que no sin causa hice todo lo que he hecho en ella, dice Jehová el Señor. |
