Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; |
Fils d'homme, propose une énigme et présente une parabole à la maison d'Israël, et dis : |

And say, Thus saith the Lord God; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: |
Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Un grand aigle, à grandes ailes, à longues pennes, plein de plumes, qui était de couleurs variées, vint au Liban, et prit la cime d'un cèdre ; |

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: A great eagle with great wings, long-pinioned, full of feathers, which was of divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar. |
Y dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Una gran águila, de grandes alas y de largos miembros, llena de plumas de diversos colores, vino al Líbano, y tomó el cogollo del cedro. |

He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick; he set it in a city of merchants. |
il arracha la plus haute de ses jeunes pousses, et la transporta dans un pays de marchandsa et la mit dans une ville de commerçants. |

He took also of the seed of the land, and planted it in a fruitful field; he placed it by great waters, and set it as a willow tree. |
Et il prit de la semence du pays et la mit dans un champ où l'on sème ; il la transporta près de grandes eaux, il la planta comme un saule. |

And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him: so it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. |
Et elle poussa et devint une vigne qui s'étendit, mais avait peu de hauteur, pour que ses branches se tournassent vers lui et que ses racines fussent sous lui ; et elle devint une vigne, et produisit des sarments, et poussa des feuilles. |

And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature, so that its branches should turn toward him, and the roots thereof be under him; and it became a vine, and brought forth branches, and shot forth sprigs. |
Y brotó, y se hizo una vid de mucho ramaje, de poca altura, y sus ramas miraban al águila, y sus raíces estaban debajo de ella; así que se hizo una vid, y arrojó sarmientos y echó mugrones. |

There was also another great eagle with great wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation. |
Mais il y avait un [autre] grand aigle, à grandes ailes et à beaucoup de plumes ; et voici, des carrés de sa plantation, cette vigne tourna vers lui ses racines, et étendit ses branches vers lui, afin qu'il l'arrosât. |

And there was another great eagle with great wings and many feathers; and behold, from the beds of her plantation, this vine did bend her roots unto him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it. |
Había también otra gran águila, de grandes alas y de muchas plumas; y he aquí que esta vid juntó cerca de ella sus raíces, y extendió hacia ella sus ramas, para ser regada por ella por los surcos de su plantío. |

It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine. |
Elle était plantée dans un bon terrain, près de grandes eaux, afin de produire des sarments et de porter du fruit, afin d'être une vigne magnifique. |

En un buen campo, junto a muchas aguas, fue plantada, para que hiciese ramas y diese fruto, y para que fuese vid robusta. |

Say thou, Thus saith the Lord God; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. |
Dis : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Prospérera-t-elle ? N'arrachera-t-il pas ses racines, et ne coupera-t-il pas son fruit, en sorte qu'elle sèche ? Toutes les jeunes feuilles de ses pousses sécheront, et il ne sera pas besoin d'un grand bras et d'un peuple nombreux pour l'enlever de dessus ses racines. |

Say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Shall it prosper? Shall he not pull up its roots, and cut off its fruit, that it may wither? All its fresh sprouting leaves shall wither, even without a great arm and many people to pluck it up by its roots. |
Diles: Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: ¿Será prosperada? ¿No arrancará sus raíces, y destruirá su fruto, y se secará? Todas sus hojas lozanas se secarán; y eso sin gran poder ni mucha gente para arrancarla de sus raíces. |

Yea, behold, being planted, shall it prosper? shall it not utterly wither, when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew. |
Et voici, elle est plantée : prospérera-t-elle ? Quand le vent d'orient l'aura touchée, ne séchera-t-elle pas entièrement ? Elle séchera sur les carrés où elle a poussé. |

Y he aquí está plantada; ¿será prosperada? ¿No se secará del todo cuando el viento solano la toque? En los surcos de su verdor se secará. |

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon; |
Dis à la maison rebelle : Ne savez-vous pas ce que signifient ces choses ? Dis : Voici, le roi de Babylone est venu à Jérusalem, et il a pris son roi et ses princes, et les a emmenés avec lui à Babylone. |

Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things are? Say, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took its king and its princes, and led them with him to Babylon. |
Di ahora a la casa rebelde: ¿No habéis entendido qué significan estas cosas? Diles: He aquí que el rey de Babilonia vino a Jerusalén, y tomó a tu rey y a sus príncipes, y los llevó consigo a Babilonia. |

And hath taken of the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land: |
Et il en a pris un de la semence du royaume, et a fait alliance avec lui, et lui a fait prêter un serment [d'exécration], et il a pris les puissants du pays, |

And he took of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and brought him under an oath, and he took away the mighty of the land; |
Tomó también a uno de la descendencia real e hizo pacto con él, y le hizo prestar juramento; y se llevó consigo a los poderosos de la tierra, |

That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand. |
afin que le royaume fût bas et qu'il ne s'élevât point, afin qu'il gardât son alliance pour subsister. |

para que el reino fuese abatido y no se levantase, a fin de que guardando el pacto, permaneciese en pie. |

But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered? |
Mais il s'est rebellé contre lui, envoyant ses messagers en Égypte, pour qu'on lui donnât des chevaux et un peuple nombreux. Prospérera-t-il, échappera-t-il, celui qui fait de telles choses ? Rompra-t-il l'alliance, et échappera-t-il ? |

But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? shall he break the covenant, and yet escape? |
Pero se rebeló contra él,a enviando embajadores a Egipto para que le diese caballos y mucha gente. ¿Será prosperado, escapará el que estas cosas hizo? El que rompió el pacto, ¿podrá escapar? |

As I live, saith the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. |
Je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, si, dans le lieu [même] du roi qui l'a fait roi, dont il a méprisé le sermentb et dont il a rompu l'alliance, près de lui, il ne meurt au milieu de Babylone ! |

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily in the place of the king that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him, in the midst of Babylon, shall he die. |
Vivo yo, dice Jehová el Señor, que morirá en medio de Babilonia, en el lugar donde habita el rey que le hizo reinar, cuyo juramento menospreció, y cuyo pacto hecho con él rompió. |

Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons: |
Et le Pharaon, avec une grande armée et un grand rassemblement [d'hommes], ne fera rien pour lui dans la guerre, quand on élèvera des terrasses et qu'on bâtira des tours, pour exterminer beaucoup de gens. |

Neither shall Pharaoh with a mighty army and a great assemblage do anything for him in the war, when they cast up mounds and build forts to cut off many persons. |
Y ni con gran ejército ni con mucha compañía hará Faraón nada por él en la batalla, cuando se levanten vallados y se edifiquen torres para cortar muchas vidas. |

Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. |
Il a méprisé le sermentb et rompu l'alliance ; et voici, il a donné sa main, et il a fait toutes ces choses : il n'échappera pas. |

Por cuanto menospreció el juramento y quebrantó el pacto, cuando he aquí que había dado su mano, y ha hecho todas estas cosas, no escapará. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Je suis vivant, si je ne mets sur sa tête mon sermentb qu'il a méprisé et mon alliance qu'il a rompue ! |

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As I live, verily, mine oath which he hath despised, and my covenant which he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his head. |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Vivo yo, que el juramento mío que menospreció, y mi pacto que ha quebrantado, lo traeré sobre su misma cabeza. |

And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead with him there for his trespass that he hath trespassed against me. |
Et j'étendrai sur lui mon filet, et il sera pris dans mon piège ; et je l'amènerai à Babylone, et là j'entrerai en jugement avec lui pour son infidélité par laquelle il a été infidèle envers moi. |

And I will spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare; and I will bring him to Babylon, and will enter into judgment with him there for his unfaithfulness in which he hath been unfaithful against me. |
Extenderé sobre él mi red, y será preso en mi lazo, y lo haré venir a Babilonia, y allí entraré en juicio con él por su prevaricación con que contra mí se ha rebelado. |

And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I the Lord have spoken it. |
Et tous ses fugitifs, de toutes ses troupes, tomberont par l'épée, et ceux qui resteront seront dispersés à tout vent. Et vous saurez que moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé. |

And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward every wind; and ye shall know that I Jehovah have spoken. |
Y todos sus fugitivos, con todas sus tropas, caerán a espada, y los que queden serán esparcidos a todos los vientos; y sabréis que yo Jehová he hablado. |

Thus saith the Lord God; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it upon an high mountain and eminent: |
Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Et moi, je prendrai de la cime du cèdre élevé [un rejeton], et je le placerai : de la plus haute de ses jeunes pousses, j'arracherai un tendre [rejeton] et je le planterai sur une montagne haute et éminente. |

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also take of the highest branch of the lofty cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of its young shoots a tender one, and I will plant it upon a high and eminent mountain: |
Así ha dicho Jehová el Señor: Tomaré yo del cogollo de aquel alto cedro, y lo plantaré; del principal de sus renuevos cortaré un tallo, y lo plantaré sobre el monte alto y sublime. |

In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. |
Je le planterai sur la haute montagne d'Israël ; et il portera des branches et produira du fruit, et il sera un cèdre magnifique ; et tout oiseau de toute aile demeurera sous lui ; ils habiteront à l'ombre de ses branches. |

upon the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall bring forth branches, and bear fruit, and become a noble cedar; and under it shall dwell all birds of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell. |
En el monte alto de Israel lo plantaré, y alzará ramas, y dará fruto, y se hará magnífico cedro; y habitarán debajo de él todas las aves de toda especie; a la sombra de sus ramas habitarán. |

And all the trees of the field shall know that I the Lord have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the Lord have spoken and have done it. |
Et tous les arbres des champs sauront que moi, l'Éternel, j'abaisse l'arbre élevé [et] j'élève l'arbre abaissé, je fais sécher l'arbre vert et je fais fleurir l'arbre sec. Moi, l'Éternel, je l'ai dit, et je le ferai. |

And all the trees of the field shall know that I Jehovah have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and made the dry tree to flourish: I Jehovah have spoken, and will do it . |
Y sabrán todos los árboles del campo que yo Jehová abatí el árbol sublime, levanté el árbol bajo, hice secar el árbol verde, e hice reverdecer el árbol seco. Yo Jehová lo he dicho, y lo haré. |
