Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

Fils d'homme, écris pour toi le nom de ce jour, de ce propre jour : le roi de Babylone s'approche contre Jérusalem, en ce jour même. |

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it: |

Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones. |

C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Malheur à la ville de sang, la marmite en laquelle est sa rouille, et dont la rouille ne se détache pas ! Tires-en morceau par morceau ; qu'on ne jette pas le sort sur elle ; |

For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust; |

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Malheur à la ville de sang ! Moi aussi je ferai une grande pile de bois. |

Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned. |
Entasse le bois, allume le feu, fais consommer la chair, assaisonne-la bienc, et que les os soient brûlés. |

Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed. |
Place-la vide sur les charbons ardents, afin qu'elle s'échauffe et que son airain devienne brûlant, et que son impureté soit fondue au dedans d'elle [et] que sa rouille soit consumée. |

She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire. |

In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee. |
Il y a de l'infamie dans ton impureté ; puisque je t'ai purifiée, et tu n'es point pure. Tu ne seras plus purifiée de ton impureté, jusqu'à ce que j'aie satisfait sur toi ma fureur. |

In thy filthiness is lewdness, for I have purged thee, and thou art not pure. Thou shalt no more be purged from thy filthiness, till I have satisfied my fury upon thee. |

I the Lord have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord God. |
Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé : cela arrivera, et je le ferai ; je ne reculerai point, et je n'aurai point de compassion, et je ne me repentirai pas. On te jugera selon tes voies et selon tes actions, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

I Jehovah have spoken it : it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, nor will I repent. According to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
Yo Jehová he hablado; vendrá, y yo lo haré. No me volveré atrás, ni tendré misericordia, ni me arrepentiré; según tus caminos y tus obras te juzgarán, dice Jehová el Señor. |

Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down. |
Fils d'homme, voici, je vais t'ôter, par une plaie, le désir de tes yeux ; et tu ne mèneras pas deuil, et tu ne pleureras pas, et tes larmes ne couleront pas. |

Hijo de hombre, he aquí que yo te quito de golpe el deleite de tus ojos; no endeches, ni llores, ni corran tus lágrimas. |

Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men. |
Gémis en silence : tu ne feras point le deuil des morts. Enroule ton turban sur toi, et mets tes sandales à tes pieds, et ne couvre pas ta barbe, et ne mange pas le pain des hommes. — |

Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind thy turban upon thee, and put thy sandals upon thy feet, and cover not the beard, and eat not the bread of men. |
Reprime el suspirar, no hagas luto de mortuorios; ata tu turbante sobre ti, y pon tus zapatos en tus pies, y no te cubras con rebozo, ni comas pan de enlutados. |

So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded. |

And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so? |
Et le peuple me dit : Ne nous déclareras-tu pas ce que signifient pour nous ces choses que tu fais ? |

Y me dijo el pueblo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué significan para nosotros estas cosas que haces? |

Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying, |

Y yo les dije: La palabra de Jehová vino a mí, diciendo: |

Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. |
Dis à la maison d'Israël : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, je profane mon sanctuaire, l'orgueil de votre force, le désir de vos yeux, et l'affection de votre âme ; et vos fils et vos filles que vous avez laissés en arrière tomberont par l'épée. |

Say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and your soul's longing; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword. |

And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men. |
Et vous ferez comme j'ai fait : vous ne couvrirez point votre barbe et vous ne mangerez pas le pain des hommes ; |

Y haréis de la manera que yo hice; no os cubriréis con rebozo, ni comeréis pan de hombres en luto. |

And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another. |
et vos turbans seront sur vos têtes, et vos sandales à vos pieds ; vous ne mènerez pas deuil et vous ne pleurerez pas, mais vous vous consumerez dans vos iniquités, et vous gémirez l'un vis-à-vis de l'autre. |

and your turbans shall be upon your heads, and your sandals upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall waste away in your iniquities and moan one toward another. |

Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord God. |
Et Ézéchiel sera pour vous un signee : selon tout ce qu'il a fait, vous ferez. Quand cela arrivera, vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

Thus Ezekiel shall be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when it cometh, then ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah. |
Ezequiel, pues, os será por señal; según todas las cosas que él hizo, haréis; cuando esto ocurra, entonces sabréis que yo soy Jehová el Señor. |

Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters, |
Et toi, fils d'homme, au jour où je leur ôterai ce qui a été leur confiancef, la joie de leur ornement, le désir de leurs yeux, et ce que recherchent leurs âmes, leurs fils et leurs filles, |

And thou, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereunto they lift up their soul, their sons and their daughters, |
Y tú, hijo de hombre, el día que yo arrebate a ellos su fortaleza, el gozo de su gloria, el deleite de sus ojos y el anhelo de sus almas, y también sus hijos y sus hijas, |

That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears? |
en ce jour-là celui qui sera réchappé ne viendra-t-il pas vers toi pour le faire entendre à tes oreilles ? |

ese día vendrá a ti uno que haya escapado para traer las noticias. |

In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord. |
En ce jour-là ta bouche sera ouverte avec le réchappé, et tu parleras et tu ne seras plus muet ; et tu seras pour eux un signeg, et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel. |

In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb. So shalt thou be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. |
En aquel día se abrirá tu boca para hablar con el fugitivo, y hablarás, y no estarás más mudo; y les serás por señal, y sabrán que yo soy Jehová. |
