And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years. |
☆ Et les fils d'Israël firent de nouveau ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel ; et l'Éternel les livra en la main des Philistins pendant quarante ans. |

And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. |
Et il y avait un homme de Tsorha, de la famille des Danites, et son nom était Manoah ; et sa femme était stérile et n'enfantait pas. |

And there was a certain man of Zoreah, of the family of the Danites, and his name was Manoah. And his wife was barren and did not bear. |
Y había un hombre de Zora, de la tribu de Dan, el cual se llamaba Manoa; y su mujer era estéril, y nunca había tenido hijos. |

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. |
Et l'Ange de l'Éternel apparut à la femme, et lui dit : Voici, tu es stérile et tu n'enfantes pas ; mais tu concevras, et tu enfanteras un fils. |

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to the woman, and said to her, Behold now, thou art barren and bearest not; but thou shalt conceive and bear a son. |
A esta mujer apareció el ángel de Jehová, y le dijo: He aquí que tú eres estéril, y nunca has tenido hijos; pero concebirás y darás a luz un hijo. |

Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: |
Et maintenant, prends garde, je te prie, et ne bois ni vin ni boisson forte, et ne mange rien d'impur ; |

And now beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat nothing unclean. |
Ahora, pues, no bebas vino ni sidra, ni comas cosa inmunda. |

For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. |
car voici, tu concevras, et tu enfanteras un fils ; et le rasoir ne passera pas sur sa tête, car le jeune garçon sera nazaréena de Dieu dès le ventre [de sa mère] ; et ce sera lui qui commencera à sauver Israël de la main des Philistins. |

For lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son, and no razor shall come on his head; for the boy shall be a Nazarite of God from the womb; and he shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. |
Pues he aquí que concebirás y darás a luz un hijo; y navaja no pasará sobre su cabeza, porque el niño será nazareoa a Dios desde su nacimiento, y él comenzará a salvar a Israel de mano de los filisteos. |

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: |
Et la femme vint, et parla à son mari, disant : Un homme de Dieu est venu vers moi, et son aspect était comme l'aspect d'un ange de Dieu, très-terrible ; et je ne lui ai pas demandé d'où il était, et il ne m'a pas fait connaître son nom. |

And the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of an angel of God, very terrible; but I did not ask him whence he was, neither did he tell me his name. |
Y la mujer vino y se lo contó a su marido, diciendo: Un varón de Dios vino a mí, cuyo aspecto era como el aspecto de un ángel de Dios, temible en gran manera; y no le pregunté de dónde ni quién era, ni tampoco él me dijo su nombre. |

But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. |
Et il m'a dit : Voici, tu concevras, et tu enfanteras un fils ; et maintenant, ne bois ni vin ni boisson forte, et ne mange rien d'impur ; car le jeune garçon sera nazaréen de Dieu dès le ventre [de sa mère], jusqu'au jour de sa mort. |

And he said to me, Behold, thou shalt conceive and bear a son; and now drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not anything unclean; for the boy shall be a Nazarite of God from the womb to the day of his death. |
Y me dijo: He aquí que tú concebirás, y darás a luz un hijo; por tanto, ahora no bebas vino, ni sidra, ni comas cosa inmunda, porque este niño será nazareo a Dios desde su nacimiento hasta el día de su muerte. |

Then Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. |
Et Manoah supplia l'Éternel, et dit : Ah, Seigneur ! que l'homme de Dieu que tu as envoyé, vienne encore vers nous, je te prie, et qu'il nous enseigne ce que nous devons faire au jeune garçon qui naîtra. |

Then Manoah prayed to Jehovah, and said, Ah Lord! let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, I pray thee, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. |
Entonces oró Manoa a Jehová, y dijo: Ah, Señor mío, yo te ruego que aquel varón de Dios que enviaste, vuelva ahora a venir a nosotros, y nos enseñe lo que hayamos de hacer con el niño que ha de nacer. |

And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her. |
Et Dieu exauça la voix de Manoah ; et l'Ange de Dieu vint encore vers la femme, comme elle était assise aux champs, et Manoah, son mari, n'était pas avec elle. |

And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the Angel of God came again to the woman whilst she sat in the field; but Manoah her husband was not with her. |
Y Dios oyó la voz de Manoa; y el ángel de Dios volvió otra vez a la mujer, estando ella en el campo; mas su marido Manoa no estaba con ella. |

And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day. |
Et la femme se hâta et courut et rapporta à son mari, et lui dit : Voici, l'homme qui était venu vers moi l'autre jour m'est apparu. |

Then the woman hasted and ran, and informed her husband, and said to him, Behold, the man has appeared to me, that came to me that day. |
Y la mujer corrió prontamente a avisarle a su marido, diciéndole: Mira que se me ha aparecido aquel varón que vino a mí el otro día. |

And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am. |
Et Manoah se leva et suivit sa femme ; et il vint vers l'homme, et lui dit : Es-tu l'homme qui a parlé à cette femme ? Et il dit : [C'est] moi. |

And Manoah rose up and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said to him, Art thou the man that didst speak to the woman? And he said, I am. |
Y se levantó Manoa, y siguió a su mujer; y vino al varón y le dijo: ¿Eres tú aquel varón que habló a la mujer? Y él dijo: Yo soy. |

And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him? |
Et Manoah dit : Quand donc ta parole arrivera, quelle sera la règle du jeune garçon, et que devra-t-il faire ? |

And Manoah said, When thy words then come to pass, what shall be the child's manner and his doing? |
Entonces Manoa dijo: Cuando tus palabras se cumplan, ¿cómo debe ser la manera de vivir del niño, y qué debemos hacer con él? |

And the angel of the Lord said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. |
Et l'Ange de l'Éternel dit à Manoah : La femme se gardera de tout ce que je lui ai dit. |

And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware: |
Y el ángel de Jehová respondió a Manoa: La mujer se guardará de todas las cosas que yo le dije. |

She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. |
Elle ne mangera rien de ce qui sort de la vigneb, et elle ne boira ni vin ni boisson forte, et ne mangera rien d'impur. Elle prendra garde à tout ce que je lui ai commandé. |

she shall not eat of anything that cometh of the vine, neither shall she drink wine or strong drink, nor eat anything unclean: all that I commanded her shall she observe. |
No tomará nada que proceda de la vid; no beberá vino ni sidra, y no comerá cosa inmunda; guardará todo lo que le mandé. |

And Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee. |
Et Manoah dit à l'Ange de l'Éternel : Laisse-nous te retenir, et t'apprêter un chevreau. |

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, I pray thee, let us detain thee, and we will make ready a kid of the goats for thee. |
Entonces Manoa dijo al ángel de Jehová: Te ruego nos permitas detenerte, y te prepararemos un cabrito. |

And the angel of the Lord said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the Lord. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the Lord. |
Et l'Ange de l'Éternel dit à Manoah : Si tu me retiens, je ne mangerai pas de ton pain ; et si tu fais un holocauste, tu l'offrirasc à l'Éternel. Car Manoah ne savait pas que ce fût l'Ange de l'Éternel. |

And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, Though thou shouldest detain me, I will not eat of thy bread; and if thou wilt offer a burnt-offering, thou shalt offer it up to Jehovah. For Manoah knew not that he was the Angel of Jehovah. |
Y el ángel de Jehová respondió a Manoa: Aunque me detengas, no comeré de tu pan; mas si quieres hacer holocausto, ofrécelo a Jehová. Y no sabía Manoa que aquel fuese ángel de Jehová. |

And Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour? |
Et Manoah dit à l'Ange de l'Éternel : Quel est ton nom, afin que nous t'honorions, quand ce que tu as dit arrivera ? |

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is thy name, that when thy word cometh to pass we may do thee honour? |
Entonces dijo Manoa al ángel de Jehová: ¿Cuál es tu nombre, para que cuando se cumpla tu palabra te honremos? |

And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret? |
Et l'Ange de l'Éternel lui dit : Pourquoi demandes-tu mon nom ? Il est merveilleux. |

And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, How is it that thou askest after my name, seeing it is wonderful? |
Y el ángel de Jehová respondió: ¿Por qué preguntas por mi nombre, que es admirable? |

So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the Lord: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. |
Et Manoah prit le chevreau et le gâteaud, et il les offrite à l'Éternel sur le rocher. Et il fit une chose merveilleuse, tandis que Manoah et sa femme regardaient. |

Then Manoah took the kid and the oblation, and offered it up to Jehovah upon the rock. And he did wondrously, and Manoah and his wife looked on. |
Y Manoa tomó un cabrito y una ofrenda, y los ofreció sobre una peña a Jehová; y el ángel hizo milagro ante los ojos de Manoa y de su mujer. |

For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. |
Et il arriva que, comme la flamme montait de dessus l'autel vers les cieux, l'Ange de l'Éternel monta dans la flamme de l'autel, Manoah et sa femme regardant ; et ils tombèrent sur leurs faces contre terre. |

And it came to pass, as the flame went up from off the altar towards the heavens, that the Angel of Jehovah ascended in the flame of the altar; and Manoah and his wife looked on, and fell on their faces to the ground. |
Porque aconteció que cuando la llama subía del altar hacia el cielo, el ángel de Jehová subió en la llama del altar ante los ojos de Manoa y de su mujer, los cuales se postraron en tierra. |

But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the Lord. |
Et l'Ange de l'Éternel n'apparut plus à Manoah, ni à sa femme. Alors Manoah connut que c'était l'Ange de l'Éternel. |

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared no more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that it was the Angel of Jehovah. |
Y el ángel de Jehová no volvió a aparecer a Manoa ni a su mujer. Entonces conoció Manoa que era el ángel de Jehová. |

And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. |
Et Manoah dit à sa femme : Nous mourrons certainement, car nous avons vu Dieu. |

But his wife said unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these. |
Et sa femme lui dit : Si l'Éternel eût pris plaisir à nous faire mourir, il n'aurait pas accepté de notre main l'holocauste et le gâteaud, et il ne nous aurait pas fait voir toutes ces choses, et ne nous aurait pas fait entendre, dans ce moment, des choses comme celles-là. |

But his wife said to him, If Jehovah were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt-offering and an oblation at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would he at this time have told us such things as these. |
Y su mujer le respondió: Si Jehová nos quisiera matar, no aceptaría de nuestras manos el holocausto y la ofrenda, ni nos hubiera mostrado todas estas cosas, ni ahora nos habría anunciado esto. |

And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. |
Et la femme enfanta un fils, et appela son nom Samson ; et l'enfant grandit, et l'Éternel le bénit. |

And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol. |
