Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. |

And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. |
Et l'Éternel dit à Josué : Vois, j'ai livré en ta main Jéricho, et son roi [et ses] hommes vaillants. |

And Jehovah said to Joshua, See, I have given into thy hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the valiant men. |
Mas Jehová dijo a Josué: Mira, yo he entregado en tu mano a Jericó y a su rey, con sus varones de guerra. |

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. |
Et vous ferez le tour de la ville, vous tous les hommes de guerre, en tournant autour de la ville une fois : tu feras ainsi pendant six jours. |

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. |
Et sept sacrificateurs porteront sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'arche ; et le septième jour, vous ferez le tour de la ville sept fois, et les sacrificateurs sonneront des trompettes. |

And seven priests shall carry before the ark seven blast-trumpets; and on the seventh day ye shall go round the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. |
Y siete sacerdotes llevarán siete bocinas de cuernos de carnero delante del arca; y al séptimo día daréis siete vueltas a la ciudad, y los sacerdotes tocarán las bocinas. |

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. |
Et il arrivera que, lorsqu'ils sonneront longuement de la corne retentissante, aussitôt que vous entendrez le son de la trompette, tout le peuple jettera un grand cri, et la muraille de la ville tombera sous elle-même, et le peuple montera, chacun devant soi. |

And it shall come to pass when they make a long blast with the blast-horn, that all the people on hearing the sound of the trumpet shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall flat, and the people shall go up, each one straight before him. |
Y cuando toquen prolongadamente el cuerno de carnero, así que oigáis el sonido de la bocina, todo el pueblo gritará a gran voz, y el muro de la ciudad caerá; entonces subirá el pueblo, cada uno derecho hacia adelante. |

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord. |
Et Josué, fils de Nun, appela les sacrificateurs, et leur dit : Portez l'arche de l'alliance, et que sept sacrificateurs portent sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'arche de l'Éternel. |

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them, Carry the ark of the covenant, and seven priests shall carry seven blast-trumpets before the ark of Jehovah. |
Llamando, pues, Josué hijo de Nun a los sacerdotes, les dijo: Llevad el arca del pacto, y siete sacerdotes lleven bocinas de cuerno de carnero delante del arca de Jehová. |

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the Lord. |
Et il dit au peuple : Passez, et faites le tour de la ville, et que les hommes armés passent devant l'arche de l'Éternel. |

Y dijo al pueblo: Pasad, y rodead la ciudad; y los que están armados pasarán delante del arca de Jehová. |

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them. |
Et il arriva, quand Josué eut parlé au peuple, que les sept sacrificateurs qui portaient les sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'Éternel passèrent et sonnèrent des trompettes ; et l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel allait après eux. |

And it came to pass when Joshua had spoken to the people, that the seven priests carrying the seven blast-trumpets before Jehovah passed on and blew with the trumpets; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went after them. |
Y así que Josué hubo hablado al pueblo, los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuerno de carnero, pasaron delante del arca de Jehová, y tocaron las bocinas; y el arca del pacto de Jehová los seguía. |

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. |
Et les hommes armés allaient devant les sacrificateurs qui sonnaient des trompettes, et l'arrière-garde marchait après l'arche ; ils sonnaient des trompettes en marchant. |

And the armed men went before the priests who blew with the trumpets, and the rearguard came after the ark; they blew with the trumpets in marching. |
Y los hombres armados iban delante de los sacerdotes que tocaban las bocinas, y la retaguardia iba tras el arca, mientras las bocinas sonaban continuamente. |

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout. |
Et Josué avait commandé au peuple, disant : Vous ne jetterez pas de cris, et vous ne ferez pas entendre votre voix, et il ne sortira pas de votre bouche un seul mot, jusqu'au jour où je vous dirai : Criez ; alors vous crierez. |

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor let your voice be heard, neither shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, Shout; then shall ye shout. |
Y Josué mandó al pueblo, diciendo: Vosotros no gritaréis, ni se oirá vuestra voz, ni saldrá palabra de vuestra boca, hasta el día que yo os diga: Gritad; entonces gritaréis. |

So the ark of the Lord compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. |
Et l'arche de l'Éternel fit le tour de la ville, tournant autour une fois ; puis ils entrèrent dans le camp, et passèrent la nuit dans le camp. |

And the ark of Jehovah went round the city, encompassing it once; and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. |
Así que él hizo que el arca de Jehová diera una vuelta alrededor de la ciudad, y volvieron luego al campamento, y allí pasaron la noche. |

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. |
Et Josué se leva de bonne heure le matin, et les sacrificateurs portèrent l'arche de l'Éternel. |

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests carried the ark of Jehovah. |
Y Josué se levantó de mañana, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca de Jehová. |

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets. |
Et les sept sacrificateurs qui portaient les sept trompettes retentissantes devant l'arche de l'Éternel, marchaient, et en allant sonnaient des trompettes ; et les hommes armés allaient devant eux ; et l'arrière-garde marchait après l'arche de l'Éternel ; ils sonnaient des trompettes en marchant. |

And the seven priests carrying the seven blast-trumpets before the ark of Jehovah went on and blew continually with the trumpets; and the armed men went before them, and the rearguard went after the ark of Jehovah; they blew with the trumpets in marching. |
Y los siete sacerdotes, llevando las siete bocinas de cuerno de carnero, fueron delante del arca de Jehová, andando siempre y tocando las bocinas; y los hombres armados iban delante de ellos, y la retaguardia iba tras el arca de Jehová, mientras las bocinas tocaban continuamente. |

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days. |
Et le second jour, ils firent le tour de la ville une fois, puis ils revinrent dans le camp. Ils firent ainsi, six jours. |

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. |
Et le septième jour, ils se levèrent de bonne heure, au lever de l'aurore, et firent le tour de la ville, de la même manière, sept fois ; seulement, ce jour-là, ils firent le tour de la ville sept fois. |

And it was so that on the seventh day they rose early, about the morning-dawn, and went round the city after the same manner seven times; only on that day they went round the city seven times. |
Al séptimo día se levantaron al despuntar el alba, y dieron vuelta a la ciudad de la misma manera siete veces; solamente este día dieron vuelta alrededor de ella siete veces. |

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city. |
Et à la septième fois, comme les sacrificateurs sonnaient des trompettes, il arriva que Josué dit au peuple : Criez ; car l'Éternel vous a donné la ville. |

And it came to pass the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people, Shout; for Jehovah has given you the city. |
Y cuando los sacerdotes tocaron las bocinas la séptima vez, Josué dijo al pueblo: Gritad, porque Jehová os ha entregado la ciudad. |

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. |
Et la ville sera anathème à l'Éternel, elle et tout ce qui s'y trouve ; Rahab seule, la prostituée, vivra, elle et tous ceux qui sont chez elle dans la maison, parce qu'elle a caché les messagers que nous avions envoyés. |

And the city shall be accursed, it and all that is in it, to Jehovah; only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. |
Y será la ciudad anatema a Jehová, con todas las cosas que están en ella; solamente Rahab la ramera vivirá, con todos los que estén en casa con ella, por cuanto escondió a los mensajeros que enviamos. |

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. |
Seulement vous vous garderez de l'anathème, de peur qu'en prenant de l'anathème, vous ne vous rendiez [vous-mêmes] anathème, et que vous ne fassiez devenir anathème le camp d'Israël, et que vous ne le troubliez. |

But in any wise keep from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed in taking of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. |
Pero vosotros guardaos del anatema; ni toquéis, ni toméis alguna cosa del anatema, no sea que hagáis anatema el campamento de Israel, y lo turbéis. |

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord. |
Et tout l'argent, et l'or, et les vases d'airain et de fer, seront saints, [consacrés] à l'Éternel : ils entreront dans le trésor de l'Éternel. |

And all the silver, and gold, and vessels of copper and iron, shall be holy to Jehovah; they shall come into the treasury of Jehovah. |
Mas toda la plata y el oro, y los utensilios de bronce y de hierro, sean consagrados a Jehová, y entren en el tesoro de Jehová. |

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. |
Et le peuple jeta des cris, et on sonna des trompettes. Et comme le peuple entendait le son des trompettes et que le peuple jetait un grand cri, la muraille tomba sous elle-même, et le peuple monta dans la ville, chacun devant soi, et ils prirent la ville. |

And the people shouted, and they blew with the trumpets. And it came to pass when the people heard the sound of the trumpets, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat; and the people went up into the city, each one straight before him, and they took the city. |
Entonces el pueblo gritó, y los sacerdotes tocaron las bocinas; y aconteció que cuando el pueblo hubo oído el sonido de la bocina, gritó con gran vocerío, y el muro se derrumbó.a El pueblo subió luego a la ciudad, cada uno derecho hacia adelante, y la tomaron. |

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. |
Et ils détruisirent entièrement, par le tranchant de l'épée, tout ce qui était dans la ville, et homme et femme, et enfant et vieillard, les bœufs, les moutonsa et les ânes. |

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city; both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. |
Y destruyeron a filo de espada todo lo que en la ciudad había; hombres y mujeres, jóvenes y viejos, hasta los bueyes, las ovejas, y los asnos. |

But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. |
Et Josué dit aux deux hommes qui avaient exploré le pays : Entrez dans la maison de la prostituée, et faites-en sortir la femme et tous ceux qui sont à elle, comme vous le lui avez juré. |

And Joshua said to the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house and bring out thence the woman, and all that she has, as ye swore unto her. |
Mas Josué dijo a los dos hombres que habían reconocido la tierra: Entrad en casa de la mujer ramera, y haced salir de allí a la mujer y a todo lo que fuere suyo, como lo jurasteis. |

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. |
Et les jeunes hommes, les espions, entrèrent et firent sortir Rahab, et son père, et sa mère, et ses frères, et tous ceux qui étaient à elle ; ils firent sortir toutes les familles des siens, et ils les laissèrent en dehors du camp d'Israël. |

And the young men, the spies, went in and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had: all her kindred did they bring out, and they left them outside the camp of Israel. |
Y los espías entraron y sacaron a Rahab, a su padre, a su madre, a sus hermanos y todo lo que era suyo; y también sacaron a toda su parentela, y los pusieron fuera del campamento de Israel. |

And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. |
Et ils brûlèrent par le feu la ville et tout ce qui y était ; seulement l'argent et l'or, et les vases d'airain et de fer, ils les mirent dans le trésor de la maison de l'Éternel. |

And they burned the city with fire, and all that was therein; only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of copper and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of Jehovah. |
Y consumieron con fuego la ciudad, y todo lo que en ella había; solamente pusieron en el tesoro de la casa de Jehová la plata y el oro, y los utensilios de bronce y de hierro. |

And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. |
Et Josué conserva la vie à Rahab, la prostituée, et à la maison de son père, et à tous ceux qui étaient à elle ; et elle a habité au milieu d'Israël jusqu'à ce jour, car elle avait caché les messagers que Josué avait envoyés pour explorer Jéricho. |

And Joshua saved alive Rahab the harlot, and her father's household, and all that she had, and she dwelt in the midst of Israel to this day; because she hid the messengers whom Joshua had sent to spy out Jericho. |
Mas Josué salvó la vida a Rahab la ramera, y a la casa de su padre, y a todo lo que ella tenía; y habitó ella entre los israelitas hasta hoy, por cuanto escondió a los mensajeros que Josué había enviado a reconocer a Jericó.b |

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the Lord, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. |
Et Josué jura en ce temps-là, disant : Maudit soit devant l'Éternel l'homme qui se lèvera et bâtira cette ville de Jéricho ! Il la fondera sur son premier-né, et en posera les portes sur son plus jeune fils. |

And Joshua swore at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before Jehovah who shall rise up and build this city Jericho! In his first-born shall he lay its foundation, and in his youngest son shall he set up its gates. |
En aquel tiempo hizo Josué un juramento, diciendo: Maldito delante de Jehová el hombre que se levantare y reedificare esta ciudad de Jericó. Sobre su primogénito eche los cimientos de ella, y sobre su hijo menor asiente sus puertas.c |

So the Lord was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country. |
Et l'Éternel était avec Josué ; et sa renommée se répanditb dans tout le pays. |

And Jehovah was with Joshua; and his fame was in all the land. |
Estaba, pues, Jehová con Josué, y su nombre se divulgó por toda la tierra. |
