The Lord also spake unto Joshua, saying, |

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses: |
Parle aux fils d'Israël, en disant : Établissez-vous les villes de refuge dont je vous ai parlé par Moïse, |

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint for yourselves the cities of refuge, whereof I spoke unto you through Moses, |
Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Señalaos las ciudades de refugio, de las cuales yo os hablé por medio de Moisés,a |

That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. |
afin que l'homicide qui, par mégardea, aura frappé à mort quelqu'un sans le savoir, s'y enfuie ; et elles vous serviront de refuge devant le vengeur du sang. |

that the slayer who unwittingly without intent smiteth any one mortally may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood. |
para que se acoja allí el homicida que matare a alguno por accidente y no a sabiendas; y os servirán de refugio contra el vengador de la sangre. |

And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. |
Et [l'homicide] s'enfuira dans l'une de ces villes, et il se tiendra à l'entrée de la porte de la ville, et dira aux oreilles des anciens de cette ville l'affaire qui lui est arrivéeb ; et ils le recueilleront auprès d'eux dans la ville et lui donneront un lieu pour habiter avec eux. |

And he shall flee unto one of those cities and stand at the entrance of the city-gate, and shall declare his matter in the ears of the elders of that city; and they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them. |
Y el que se acogiere a alguna de aquellas ciudades, se presentará a la puerta de la ciudad, y expondrá sus razones en oídos de los ancianos de aquella ciudad; y ellos le recibirán consigo dentro de la ciudad, y le darán lugar para que habite con ellos. |

And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime. |
Et si le vengeur du sang le poursuit, ils ne livreront pas l'homicide en sa main ; car c'est sans le savoir qu'il a frappé son prochain : il ne le haïssait pas auparavant. |

And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; for he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not previously. |
Si el vengador de la sangre le siguiere, no entregarán en su mano al homicida, por cuanto hirió a su prójimo por accidente, y no tuvo con él ninguna enemistad antes. |

And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled. |
Et il habitera dans cette ville, jusqu'à ce qu'il comparaisse en jugement devant l'assemblée, jusqu'à la mort du grand sacrificateur qui sera en ces jours-là ; alors l'homicide s'en retournera et reviendra dans sa ville et dans sa maison, dans la ville d'où il s'était enfui. |

And he shall dwell in that city, until he have stood before the assembly in judgment, until the death of the high-priest that shall be in those days; then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled. |
Y quedará en aquella ciudad hasta que comparezca en juicio delante de la congregación, y hasta la muerte del que fuere sumo sacerdote en aquel tiempo; entonces el homicida podrá volver a su ciudad y a su casa y a la ciudad de donde huyó. |

And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kirjath–arba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah. |
Et ils sanctifièrent Kédesh, en Galilée, dans la montagne de Nephthali ; et Sichem, dans la montagne d'Éphraïm ; et Kiriath-Arba, qui est Hébron, dans la montagne de Juda. |

And they hallowed Kedesh in Galilee in the hill-country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Kirjath-Arba, that is, Hebron, in the hill-country of Judah. |
Entonces señalaron a Cedes en Galilea, en el monte de Neftalí, Siquem en el monte de Efraín, y Quiriat-arba (que es Hebrón) en el monte de Judá. |

And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh. |
Et au delà du Jourdain de Jéricho, vers le levant, ils établirent, de la tribu de Ruben, Bétser, dans le désert, sur le plateau ; et Ramoth, en Galaad, de la tribu de Gad ; et Golan, en Basan, de la tribu de Manassé. |

And beyond the Jordan from Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness, in the plateau, out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan of the tribe of Manasseh. |
Y al otro lado del Jordán al oriente de Jericó, señalaron a Beser en el desierto, en la llanura de la tribu de Rubén, Ramot en Galaad de la tribu de Gad, y Golán en Basán de la tribu de Manasés. |

These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation. |
Ce furent là les villes assignées à tous les fils d'Israël et à l'étranger qui séjournait parmi eux, afin que quiconque aurait, par mégardec, frappé à mort quelqu'un, s'y enfuît, et ne mourût pas de la main du vengeur du sang, jusqu'à ce qu'il eût comparu devant l'assemblée. |

These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever smiteth any one mortally without intent might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the assembly. |
Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese a ellas cualquiera que hiriese a alguno por accidente, a fin de que no muriese por mano del vengador de la sangre, hasta que compareciese delante de la congregación. |
