This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the Lord his God upon him. |
— cet Esdras monta de Babylone : il était un scribe versé dans la loi de Moïse qu'avait donnée l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. Et le roi lui accorda toute sa requête, selon que la main de l'Éternel, son Dieu, était sur lui. |

And there went up some of the children of Israel, and of the priests, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king. |

Car le premier [jour] du premier mois le projet de partir de Babylone fut arrêtéc ; et le premier [jour] du cinquième mois il arriva à Jérusalem, selon que la bonne main de son Dieu était sur lui. |

For upon the first of the first month the project of going up from Babylon was determined on, and on the first of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. |

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. |
Car Esdras avait disposé son cœur à rechercher la loi de l'Éternel, et à la faire, et à enseigner en Israël les statuts et les ordonnances. |

Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe of the words of the commandments of the Lord, and of his statutes to Israel. |

I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee. |
De par moi ordre est donné que tous ceux du peuple d'Israël et de ses sacrificateurs et des lévites, qui, dans mon royaume, sont disposés à aller à Jérusalem avec toi, y aillent ; |

Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand; |
puisque tu es envoyé pare le roi et ses sept conseillers pour t'enquérir au sujet de Juda et de Jérusalem, selon la loi de ton Dieu, qui est dans ta main, |

And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the priests, offering willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem: |
ainsi que tout l'argent et l'or que tu trouveras dans toute la province de Babylone, avec l'offrande volontaire du peuple et des sacrificateurs qui offrent volontairement pour la maison de leur Dieu qui est à Jérusalem ; |

That thou mayest buy speedily with this money bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem. |
tu achèteras donc promptement, avec cet argent, des bœufs, des béliers, des agneaux, et leurs offrandes de gâteaux et leurs libations, et tu les offriras sur l'autel de la maison de votre Dieu, qui est à Jérusalem. |

And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God. |
Et ce qu'il vous paraîtra bon à toi et à tes frères de faire avec le reste de l'argent et de l'or, faites-le selon la volonté de votre Dieu. |

Et les ustensiles qui te sont donnés pour le service de la maison de ton Dieu, remets-les devant le Dieu de Jérusalem. |

And whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king’s treasure house. |
Et le reste des choses nécessaires pour la maison de ton Dieu que tu pourras avoir à donner, tu les donneras de la maison des trésors du roi. |

And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily, |
Et de par moi, moi Artaxerxès, le roi, ordre est donné à tous les trésoriers de l'autre côté du fleuve, de faire promptement tout ce qu'Esdras, sacrificateur, scribe de la loi du Dieu des cieux, vous demandera, |

And I, I Artaxerxes the king, do give orders to all the treasurers that are beyond the river, that whatever Ezra the priest and scribe of the law of the God of the heavens shall require of you, it be done diligently, |
Y por mí, Artajerjes rey, es dada orden a todos los tesoreros que están al otro lado del río, que todo lo que os pida el sacerdote Esdras, escriba de la ley del Dios del cielo, se le conceda prontamente, |

Unto an hundred talents of silver, and to an hundred measures of wheat, and to an hundred baths of wine, and to an hundred baths of oil, and salt without prescribing how much. |
jusqu'à cent talents d'argent, et jusqu'à cent cors de froment, et jusqu'à cent baths de vin, et jusqu'à cent baths d'huile, et du sel, sans prescription [de quantité] : |

hasta cien talentos de plata, cien coros de trigo, cien batos de vino, y cien batos de aceite; y sal sin medida. |

Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? |
que tout ce qui est ordonné par le Dieu des cieux soit fait exactement pour la maison du Dieu des cieux ; car pourquoi y aurait-il colère contre le royaume du roi et de ses fils ? |

Whatever is commanded by the God of the heavens, let it be carefully done for the house of the God of the heavens; for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? |
Todo lo que es mandado por el Dios del cielo, sea hecho prontamente para la casa del Dios del cielo; pues, ¿por qué habría de ser su ira contra el reino del rey y de sus hijos? |

Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them. |
Et nous vous faisons savoir que, sur tous les sacrificateurs et les lévites, chantres, portiers, Nethiniens, et serviteurs de cette maison de Dieu, il ne peut être levé aucun tribut, ni impôt, ni péage. |

Also we inform you, as regards all the priests and Levites, singers, doorkeepers, Nethinim, and ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose tribute, tax, and toll upon them. |
Y a vosotros os hacemos saber que a todos los sacerdotes y levitas, cantores, porteros, sirvientes del templo y ministros de la casa de Dios, ninguno podrá imponerles tributo, contribución ni renta. |

And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not. |
Et toi, Esdras, selon la sagesse de ton Dieu, laquelle est en ta main, établis des magistrats et des juges qui jugeront tout le peuple de l'autre côté du fleuve, tous ceux qui connaissent les lois de ton Dieu ; et à celui qui ne les connaît pas, faites-les connaître ; |

And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, which is in thy hand, set magistrates and judges who may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye him that knows them not. |
Y tú, Esdras, conforme a la sabiduría que tienes de tu Dios, pon jueces y gobernadores que gobiernen a todo el pueblo que está al otro lado del río, a todos los que conocen las leyes de tu Dios; y al que no las conoce, le enseñarás. |

And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment. |
et quiconque ne pratique pas la loi de ton Dieu et la loi du roi, qu'il en soit fait justice promptement, ou par la mort, ou par l'exilf, ou par la confiscation de ses biens, ou par l'emprisonnement. |

And whosoever will not do the law of thy God and the law of the king, let judgment be executed diligently upon him, whether unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment. |
Y cualquiera que no cumpliere la ley de tu Dios, y la ley del rey, sea juzgado prontamente, sea a muerte, a destierro, a pena de multa, o prisión. |

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem: |
Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu de nos pères, qui a mis de telles [pensées] dans le cœur du roi, d'orner la maison de l'Éternel qui est à Jérusalem, |

Blessed be Jehovah the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of Jehovah which is at Jerusalem; |
Bendito Jehová Dios de nuestros padres, que puso tal cosa en el corazón del rey, para honrar la casa de Jehová que está en Jerusalén, |

And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me. |
et qui a étendu sur moi sa bonté devant le roi, et ses conseillers, et tous les puissants princes du roi ! Et moi, je fus fortifié selon que la main de l'Éternel, mon Dieu, était sur moi, et je rassemblai d'Israël des chefs pour monter avec moi. |
