Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion. |

And they brought up the ark of the Lord, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up. |
Et ils firent monter l'arche de l'Éternel, et la tente d'assignation, et tous les ustensiles du lieu saintb qui étaient dans la tente : les sacrificateurs et les lévites les firent monter. |

And they brought up the ark of Jehovah, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the tent: the priests and the Levites brought them up. |
Y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y el tabernáculo de reunión, y todos los utensilios sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo, los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y levitas. |

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude. |
Et le roi Salomon et toute l'assemblée d'Israël, qui s'était réunie auprès de lui [et qui était] avec lui devant l'arche, sacrifiaient du menu et du gros bétail, qu'on ne pouvait nombrer ni compter, à cause de [sa] multitude. |

And king Solomon, and all the assembly of Israel that were assembled to him, who were with him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be counted nor numbered for multitude. |

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims. |

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above. |

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day. |

And the staves were long, so that the ends of the staves were seen from the holy place before the oracle, but they were not seen without. And there they are to this day. |
Y sacaron las varas, de manera que sus extremos se dejaban ver desde el lugar santo, que está delante del lugar santísimo, pero no se dejaban ver desde más afuera; y así quedaron hasta hoy. |

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. |
Il n'y avait rien dans l'arche, sauf les deux tables de pierre que Moïse y plaça en Horeb, quand l'Éternel fit alliance avec les fils d'Israël, lorsqu'ils sortirent du pays d'Égypte. |

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moses placed there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. |

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, |

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord. |
et les sacrificateurs ne pouvaient pas s'y tenir pour faire le service, à cause de la nuée, car la gloire de l'Éternel remplissait la maison de l'Éternel. |

and the priests could not stand to do their service because of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah. |

Then spake Solomon, The Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. |
Alors Salomon dit : L'Éternel a dit qu'il habiterait dans l'obscurité profonde. |

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. |
J'ai bâti toutefois une maison d'habitation pour toi, un lieu fixe pour que tu y demeures à toujours. |

I have indeed built a house of habitation for thee, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. |
Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, sitio en que tú habites para siempre. |

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;) |
Et le roi tourna sa face, et bénit toute la congrégation d'Israël ; et toute la congrégation d'Israël était debout. |

And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying, |
Et il dit : Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, qui parla de sa bouche à David, mon père, et de sa main a accompli [sa parole], disant : |

And he said: Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying, |
Y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová, Dios de Israel, que habló a David mi padre lo que con su mano ha cumplido, diciendo: |

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel. |
Depuis le jour que j'ai fait sortir d'Égypte mon peuple Israël, je n'ai choisi aucune ville d'entre toutes les tribus d'Israël pour [y] bâtir une maison afin que mon nom y fût ; mais j'ai choisi David pour être [roi] sur mon peuple Israël. |

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that my name might be there; but I have chosen David to be over my people Israel. |

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. |
Et David, mon père, avait à cœur de bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. |

And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel. |

And the Lord said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart. |
Et l'Éternel dit à David, mon père : Puisque tu as eu à cœur de bâtir une maison pour mon nom, tu as bien fait de l'avoir eu à cœur ; |

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name. |
toutefois, tu ne bâtiras pas la maison ; mais ton fils qui sortira de tes reins, lui, bâtira une maison pour mon nom. |

And the Lord hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. |
Et l'Éternel a accompli sa parole qu'il a prononcée ; et je me suis levé à la place de David, mon père, et je suis assis sur le trône d'Israël, comme l'Éternel l'a dit ; et j'ai bâti la maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël ; |

And Jehovah has performed his word which he spoke; and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel. |
Y Jehová ha cumplido su palabra que había dicho; porque yo me he levantado en lugar de David mi padre, y me he sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel. |

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the Lord, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. |
et là j'ai établi un lieu pour l'arche, où est l'alliance de l'Éternel, qu'il fit avec nos pères quand il les fit sortir du pays d'Égypte. |

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of Jehovah, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. |
Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto. |

And Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: |
Et Salomon se tint devant l'autel de l'Éternel, en face de toute la congrégation d'Israël, et étendit ses mains vers les cieux, |

And he said, Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart: |
et dit : Éternel, Dieu d'Israël ! il n'y a point de Dieu comme toi, dans les cieux en haut, et sur la terre en bas, qui gardes l'alliance et la bonté envers tes serviteurs qui marchent devant toi de tout leur cœur, |

And he said, Jehovah, God of Israel! there is no God like thee, in the heavens above, or on the earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart; |
dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia a tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti con todo su corazón; |

Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day. |
toi qui as gardé envers ton serviteur David, mon père, ce que tu lui as dit : tu as parlé de ta bouche, et de ta main tu as accompli [ta parole], comme [il paraît] aujourd'hui. |

who hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou didst promise him; thou spokest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thy hand, as at this day. |
que has cumplido a tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste; lo dijiste con tu boca, y con tu mano lo has cumplido, como sucede en este día. |

Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me. |
Et maintenant, Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, garde envers ton serviteur David, mon père, ce que tu lui as dit, disant : Tu ne manqueras pas, devant ma face, d'un homme assis sur le trône d'Israël, si seulement tes fils prennent garde à leur voie, pour marcher devant moi comme tu as marché devant moi. |

And now, Jehovah, God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy sons take heed to their way, to walk before me as thou hast walked before me. |
Ahora, pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple a tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No te faltará varón delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden mi camino y anden delante de mí como tú has andado delante de mí.g |

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father. |
Et maintenant, ô Dieu d'Israël, je te prie, que tes paroles, que tu as dites à ton serviteur David, mon père, soient fermes. |

And now, O God of Israel, let thy words, I pray thee, be verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David my father. |
Ahora, pues, oh Jehová Dios de Israel, cúmplase la palabra que dijiste a tu siervo David mi padre. |

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? |
Mais Dieu habitera-t-il vraiment sur la terre ? Voici, les cieux, et les cieux des cieux, ne peuvent te contenir ; combien moins cette maison que j'ai bâtie ! |

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens, and the heaven of heavens, cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built! |
Pero ¿es verdad que Dios morará sobre la tierra? He aquí que los cielos, los cielos de los cielos, no te pueden contener; ¿cuánto menos esta casa que yo he edificado?h |

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day: |
Cependant, Éternel, mon Dieu, aie égard à la prière de ton serviteur et à sa supplication, pour écouter le cri et la prière que ton serviteur t'adressee aujourd'hui, |

Yet have respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, Jehovah, my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee this day; |
Con todo, tú atenderás a la oración de tu siervo, y a su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo el clamor y la oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti; |

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place. |
pour que tes yeux soient ouverts nuit et jour sur cette maison, sur le lieu dont tu as dit : Mon nom sera là, — pour écouter la prière que ton serviteur t'adressera [en se tournant] vers ce lieu-ci. |

that thine eyes may be open upon this house night and day, upon the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place. |
que estén tus ojos abiertos de noche y de día sobre esta casa, sobre este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí;i y que oigas la oración que tu siervo haga en este lugar. |

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive. |
Et écoute la supplication de ton serviteur et de ton peuple Israël, qu'ils t'adresseront [en se tournant] vers ce lieu-ci ; toi, écoute dans le lieu de ton habitation, dans les cieux ; écoute et pardonne ! |

And hearken unto the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place, and hear thou in thy dwelling-place, in the heavens, and when thou hearest, forgive. |
Oye, pues, la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu morada, en los cielos; escucha y perdona. |

If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house: |
Si un homme pèche contre son prochain, et qu'on lui impose le serment pour le faire jurer, et que le serment vienne devant ton autel, dans cette maison : |

If a man have sinned against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to adjure him, and the oath come before thine altar in this house; |
Si alguno pecare contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa; |

Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness. |
alors, toi, écoute dans les cieux, et agis, et juge tes serviteurs, en condamnant le méchant, pour faire retomber sa voie sur sa tête, et en justifiant le juste, en lui donnant selon sa justice. |

then hear thou in the heavens, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head; and justifying the righteous, giving him according to his righteousness. |
tú oirás desde el cielo y actuarás, y juzgarás a tus siervos, condenando al impío y haciendo recaer su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo para darle conforme a su justicia. |

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house: |
Quand ton peuple Israël sera battu devant l'ennemi, parce qu'ils auront péché contre toi, s'ils retournent vers toi, et confessent ton nom, et te prient, et t'adressent leur supplication dans cette maison : |

When thy people Israel are put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house; |
Si tu pueblo Israel fuere derrotado delante de sus enemigos por haber pecado contra ti, y se volvieren a ti y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa, |

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers. |
alors, toi, écoute dans les cieux, et pardonne le péché de ton peuple Israël ; et fais-les retourner dans la terre que tu as donnée à leurs pères. |

When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them: |
Quand les cieux seront fermés et qu'il n'y aura pas de pluie, parce qu'ils auront péché contre toi, s'ils prient [en se tournant] vers ce lieu-ci, et qu'ils confessent ton nom et reviennent de leur péché, parce que tu les auras affligés : |

When the heavens are shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, because thou hast afflicted them; |
Si el cielo se cerrare y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los afligieres, |

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance. |
alors, toi, écoute dans les cieux, et pardonne le péché de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple Israël, quand tu leur auras enseigné le bon chemin dans lequel ils doivent marcher ; et donne la pluie sur ton pays que tu as donné en héritage à ton peuple. |

then hear thou in the heavens, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, when thou teachest them the good way wherein they should walk; and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance. |
tú oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, enseñándoles el buen camino en que anden; y darás lluvias sobre tu tierra, la cual diste a tu pueblo por heredad. |

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be; |
S'il y a famine dans le pays, s'il y a peste, s'il y a brûlure, rouille, sauterelles, locustes, si son ennemi l'assiège dans le pays de ses portes, quelque plaie, quelque maladie qu'il y ait, |

If there be famine in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blight, mildew, locust, caterpillar; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their gates; whatever plague, whatever sickness there be: |
Si en la tierra hubiere hambre, pestilencia, tizoncillo, añublo, langosta o pulgón; si sus enemigos los sitiaren en la tierra en donde habiten; cualquier plaga o enfermedad que sea; |

What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: |
quelle que soit la prière, quelle que soit la supplication que fera un homme quelconque de tout ton peuple Israël, quand ils reconnaîtront chacun la plaie de son propre cœur et qu'ils étendront leurs mains vers cette maison : |

what prayer, what supplication soever be made by any man, of all thy people Israel, when they shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house; |
toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, o todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga en su corazón, y extendiere sus manos a esta casa, |

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;) |
alors, toi, écoute dans les cieux, le lieuf de ton habitation, et pardonne, et agis, et donne à chacun selon toutes ses voies, suivant que tu connais son cœur (car tu connais, toi seul, le cœur de tous les fils des hommes), |

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the Lord, he arose from before the altar of the Lord, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. |
Et il arriva que, quand Salomon eut achevé d'adresser à l'Éternel toute cette prière et cette supplication, il se leva de devant l'autel de l'Éternel, où il était à genoux, ses mains étendues vers les cieux ; |

Béni soit l'Éternel, qui a donné du repos à son peuple Israël, selon tout ce qu'il avait dit ! Pas un mot de toute sa bonne parole qu'il prononça par Moïse, son serviteur, n'est tombé [à terre]. |

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the Lord, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord. |
Et Salomon offritn, pour le sacrifice de prospérités qu'il offritn à l'Éternel, vingt-deux mille bœufs et cent vingt mille moutons. Et le roi et tous les fils d'Israël firent la dédicace de la maison de l'Éternel. |

And Solomon sacrificed a sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he sacrificed to Jehovah, twenty-two thousand oxen and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of Jehovah. |

The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the Lord was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. |
En ce jour-là le roi sanctifia le milieu du parvis qui était devant la maison de l'Éternel ; car il offrit là l'holocauste, et l'offrande de gâteau, et la graisse des sacrifices de prospérités, parce que l'autel d'airain qui était devant l'Éternel était trop petit pour recevoir l'holocauste, et l'offrande de gâteau, et la graisse des sacrifices de prospérités. |

Aquel mismo día santificó el rey el medio del atrio, el cual estaba delante de la casa de Jehová; porque ofreció allí los holocaustos, las ofrendas y la grosura de los sacrificios de paz, por cuanto el altar de bronce que estaba delante de Jehová era pequeño, y no cabían en él los holocaustos, las ofrendas y la grosura de los sacrificios de paz. |

And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the Lord our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. |

On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the Lord had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people. |
Le huitième jour, il renvoya le peuple ; et ils bénirent le roi, et s'en allèrent à leurs tentes, joyeux et le cœur heureux à cause de tout le bien que l'Éternel avait fait à David, son serviteur, et à Israël, son peuple. |
