And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David. |
☆ Et Hiram, roi de Tyr, envoya ses serviteurs vers Salomon, car il avait entendu qu'on l'avait oint pour roi à la place de son père ; car Hiram avait toujours aimé David. |

Hiram rey de Tiro envió también sus siervos a Salomón, luego que oyó que lo habían ungido por rey en lugar de su padre; porque Hiram siempre había amado a David. |

Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the Lord his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the Lord put them under the soles of his feet. |
Tu sais, quant à David, mon père, qu'il ne put bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, son Dieu, à cause de la guerre dont [ses ennemis] l'entourèrent jusqu'à ce que l'Éternel les mit sous la plante de ses pieds. |

Thou knowest that David my father could not build a house unto the name of Jehovah his God, because of the wars which were about him on every side, until Jehovah put them under the soles of his feet. |
Tú sabes que mi padre David no pudo edificar casa al nombre de Jehová su Dios, por las guerras que le rodearon, hasta que Jehová puso sus enemigos bajo las plantas de sus pies. |

But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent. |
Mais maintenant l'Éternel, mon Dieu, m'a donné de la tranquillité de tous les côtés ; il n'y a ni adversaire ni événement fâcheux. |

But now Jehovah my God has given me rest on every side: there is neither adversary nor evil event. |
Ahora Jehová mi Dios me ha dado paz por todas partes; pues ni hay adversarios, ni mal que temer. |

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. |
Et voici, j'ai résolu de bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, mon Dieu, ainsi que l'Éternel a parlé à David, mon père, disant : Ton fils, que je mettrai à ta place sur ton trône, lui, bâtira une maison àa mon nom. |

And behold, I purpose to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spoke to David my father saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy stead, he shall build a house unto my name. |
Yo, por tanto, he determinado ahora edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, según lo que Jehová habló a David mi padre, diciendo: Tu hijo, a quien yo pondré en lugar tuyo en tu trono, él edificará casa a mi nombre.a |

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians. |
Et maintenant, commande qu'on me coupe des cèdres dans le Liban ; et mes serviteurs seront avec tes serviteurs, et je te donnerai les gages de tes serviteurs selon tout ce que tu [me] diras ; car tu sais qu'il n'y a personne parmi nous qui s'entende à couper le bois comme les Sidoniens. |

And now command that they hew me cedar-trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants; and I will give thee hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt say; for thou knowest that there is not among us any that are experienced in cutting timber like to the Zidonians. |
Manda, pues, ahora, que me corten cedros del Líbano; y mis siervos estarán con los tuyos, y yo te daré por tus siervos el salario que tú dijeres; porque tú sabes bien que ninguno hay entre nosotros que sepa labrar madera como los sidonios. |

And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the Lord this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people. |
Et il arriva, quand Hiram entendit les paroles de Salomon, qu'il s'en réjouit beaucoup ; et il dit : Béni soit aujourd'hui l'Éternel, qui a donné à David un fils sage, sur ce grand peuple ! |

Cuando Hiram oyó las palabras de Salomón, se alegró en gran manera, y dijo: Bendito sea hoy Jehová, que dio hijo sabio a David sobre este pueblo tan grande. |

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir. |
Et Hiram envoya à Salomon, disant : J'ai entendu ce que tu m'as envoyé [dire] ; je ferai tout ce que tu désires, à l'égard des bois de cèdre et des bois de cyprèsb. |

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have heard the things which thou sentest to me for: I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of cypress. |
Y envió Hiram a decir a Salomón: He oído lo que me mandaste a decir; yo haré todo lo que te plazca acerca de la madera de cedro y la madera de ciprés. |

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household. |
Mes serviteurs les descendront du Liban à la mer, et je les mettrai en radeaux sur la mer [pour les faire passer] jusqu'au lieu que tu m'enverras [dire] ; et je les ferai délier là, et tu les enlèveras. Et toi, tu accompliras mon désir, en donnant du pain à ma maison. |

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon to the sea; and I will convey them by sea in rafts to the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be broken up there, and thou shalt receive them. And thou shalt accomplish my desire in giving food for my household. |
Mis siervos la llevarán desde el Líbano al mar, y la enviaré en balsas por mar hasta el lugar que tú me señales, y allí se desatará, y tú la tomarás; y tú cumplirás mi deseo al dar de comer a mi familia. |

So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire. |
Et Hiram donna à Salomon des bois de cèdre, et des bois de cyprès, tout ce qu'il désirait ; |

And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year. |
et Salomon donna à Hiram vingt mille cors de froment pour nourrir sa maison, et vingt cors d'huile finec. C'est là ce que Salomon donna à Hiram chaque année. |

And the Lord gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together. |
Et l'Éternel donna de la sagesse à Salomon, comme il le lui avait dit. Et il y eut paix entre Hiram et Salomon, et ils firent alliance eux deux. |

And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy. |
Et il les envoya au Liban, dix mille par mois, par relais : ils étaient un mois au Liban, deux mois à la maison ; et Adoniram était [préposé] sur la levée. |

los cuales enviaba al Líbano de diez mil en diez mil, cada mes por turno, viniendo así a estar un mes en el Líbano, y dos meses en sus casas; y Adoniram estaba encargado de aquella leva. |

And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains; |
Et Salomon avait soixante-dix mille [hommes] qui portaient des fardeaux, et quatre-vingt mille qui taillaient [la pierre] sur la montagne, |

Tenía también Salomón setenta mil que llevaban las cargas, y ochenta mil cortadores en el monte; |

Beside the chief of Solomon’s officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work. |
outre les chefs, les intendants de Salomon, qui étaient [préposés] sur l'œuvre, trois mille trois cents, qui avaient autorité sur le peuple qui travaillait à l'œuvre. |

besides the overseers whom Solomon had set over the work, three thousand three hundred, who ruled over the people that wrought in the work. |

And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house. |
