And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. |
☆ Et Éliea, le Thishbite, d'entre les habitants de Galaad, dit à Achab : L'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, devant qui je me tiens, est vivant, qu'il n'y aura ces années-ci ni rosée ni pluie, sinon à ma parole. |

Entonces Elías tisbita, que era de los moradores de Galaad, dijo a Acab: Vive Jehová Dios de Israel, en cuya presencia estoy, que no habrá lluvia ni rocío en estos años, sino por mi palabra.a |

Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. |
Va-t'en d'ici, et tourne-toi vers l'orient, et cache-toi au torrent du Kerith, qui est vers le Jourdain. |

Et il arrivera que tu boiras du torrent, et j'ai commandé aux corbeaux de te nourrir là. |

So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. |
Et il s'en alla et fit selon la parole de l'Éternel : il s'en alla et habita au torrent du Kerith, qui est vers le Jourdain. |

And he went and did according to the word of Jehovah; he went and abode by the torrent Cherith, which is before the Jordan. |
Y él fue e hizo conforme a la palabra de Jehová; pues se fue y vivió junto al arroyo de Querit, que está frente al Jordán. |

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. |

Vino luego a él palabra de Jehová, diciendo: |

Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. |
Lève-toi, va-t'en à Sareptac, qui appartient à Sidon, et tu habiteras là ; voici j'ai commandé là à une femme veuve de te nourrir. |

Arise, go to Zarephath, which is by Zidon, and abide there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to maintain thee. |
Levántate, vete a Sarepta de Sidón, y mora allí; he aquí yo he dado orden allí a una mujer viudab que te sustente. |

So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. |
Et il se leva et s'en alla à Sarepta ; et il vint à l'entrée de la ville ; et voici, [il y avait] là une femme veuve qui ramassait du bois ; et il lui cria et dit : Prends-moi, je te prie, un peu d'eau dans un vase, afin que je boive. |

And he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the entrance of the city, behold, a widow woman was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. |
Entonces él se levantó y se fue a Sarepta. Y cuando llegó a la puerta de la ciudad, he aquí una mujer viuda que estaba allí recogiendo leña; y él la llamó, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas un poco de agua en un vaso, para que beba. |

And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. |
Et elle s'en alla pour en prendre. Et il lui cria et dit : Prends-moi dans ta main, je te prie, un morceau de pain. |

Y yendo ella para traérsela, él la volvió a llamar, y le dijo: Te ruego que me traigas también un bocado de pan en tu mano. |

And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. |
Et elle dit : L'Éternel ton Dieu est vivant, que je n'ai pas un morceau de pain cuit, rien qu'une poignée de farine dans un pot, et un peu d'huile dans une cruche ; et voici, je ramasse deux bûchettes, afin que j'entre, et que je prépare cela pour moi et pour mon fils ; puis nous le mangerons et nous mourrons. |

And she said, As Jehovah thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse; and behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. |
Y ella respondió: Vive Jehová tu Dios, que no tengo pan cocido; solamente un puñado de harina tengo en la tinaja, y un poco de aceite en una vasija; y ahora recogía dos leños, para entrar y prepararlo para mí y para mi hijo, para que lo comamos, y nos dejemos morir. |

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. |
Et Élie lui dit : Ne crains point ; va, fais selon ta parole ; seulement fais-moi premièrement de cela un petit gâteau, et apporte-le-moi ; et, après, tu en feras pour toi et pour ton fils ; |

And Elijah said to her, Fear not; go, do as thou hast said; but make me thereof a little cake first; and bring it to me; and afterwards make for thee and for thy son. |
Elías le dijo: No tengas temor; ve, haz como has dicho; pero hazme a mí primero de ello una pequeña torta cocida debajo de la ceniza, y tráemela; y después harás para ti y para tu hijo. |

For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. |
car ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël : Le pot de farine ne s'épuisera pas, et la cruche d'huile ne manquera pas, jusqu'au jour où l'Éternel donnera de la pluie sur la face de la terre. |

For thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: The meal in the barrel shall not waste, neither shall the oil in the cruse fail, until the day that Jehovah sendeth rain upon the face of the earth! |
Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho así: La harina de la tinaja no escaseará, ni el aceite de la vasija disminuirá, hasta el día en que Jehová haga llover sobre la faz de la tierra. |

And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. |
Et elle s'en alla, et fit selon la parole d'Élie. Et elle mangea, elle, et lui, et sa maison, toute une annéed. |

And she went and did according to the word of Elijah; and she, and he, and her house, ate a whole year. |
Entonces ella fue e hizo como le dijo Elías; y comió él, y ella, y su casa, muchos días. |

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. |
Le pot de farine ne s'épuisa pas et la cruche d'huile ne manqua pas, selon la parole de l'Éternel, qu'il avait dite par Élie. |

The meal in the barrel did not waste, neither did the oil in the cruse fail, according to the word of Jehovah which he had spoken through Elijah. |
Y la harina de la tinaja no escaseó, ni el aceite de la vasija menguó, conforme a la palabra que Jehová había dicho por Elías. |

And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. |
Et il arriva, après ces choses, que le fils de la femme, maîtresse de la maison, tomba malade ; et sa maladie devint très-forte, de sorte qu'il ne resta plus de souffle en lui. |

And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him. |
Después de estas cosas aconteció que cayó enfermo el hijo del ama de la casa; y la enfermedad fue tan grave que no quedó en él aliento. |

And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? |
Et elle dit à Élie : Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, homme de Dieu ? Es-tu venu chez moi pour mettre en mémoire mon iniquité et faire mourir mon fils ? |

And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come to me to call mine iniquity to remembrance, and to slay my son? |
Y ella dijo a Elías: ¿Qué tengo yo contigo, varón de Dios? ¿Has venido a mí para traer a memoria mis iniquidades, y para hacer morir a mi hijo? |

And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. |
Et il lui dit : Donne-moi ton fils. Et il le prit de son sein, et le monta dans la chambre haute où il habitait, et le coucha sur son lit. |

Él le dijo: Dame acá tu hijo. Entonces él lo tomó de su regazo, y lo llevó al aposento donde él estaba, y lo puso sobre su cama. |

And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? |
Et il cria à l'Éternel, et dit : Ô Éternel, mon Dieu ! as-tu aussi fait venir du mal sur la veuve chez laquelle je séjourne, en faisant mourir son fils ? |

And he cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? |
Y clamando a Jehová, dijo: Jehová Dios mío, ¿aun a la viuda en cuya casa estoy hospedado has afligido, haciéndole morir su hijo? |
| 21 |
And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again. |
Et il s'étendit sur l'enfant, trois fois, et il cria à l'Éternel, et dit : Éternel, mon Dieu ! fais revenir, je te prie, l'âme de cet enfant au-dedans de lui. |

And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried to Jehovah and said, Jehovah, my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again! |
Y se tendió sobre el niño tres veces, y clamó a Jehová y dijo: Jehová Dios mío, te ruego que hagas volver el alma de este niño a él. |

And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. |
Et l'Éternel écouta la voix d'Élie, et fit revenir l'âme de l'enfant au-dedans de lui, et il vécut. |

And Jehovah heard the voice of Elijah, and the soul of the child came into him again, and he lived. |
Y Jehová oyó la voz de Elías, y el alma del niño volvió a él, y revivió. |

And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. |
Et Élie prit l'enfant, et le descendit de la chambre haute dans la maison, et le donna à sa mère. Et Élie dit : Vois, ton fils vit. |

And Elijah took the child, and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house, and delivered him to his mother; and Elijah said, See, thy son lives. |
Tomando luego Elías al niño, lo trajo del aposento a la casa, y lo dio a su madre, y le dijo Elías: Mira, tu hijo vive. |

And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth. |
Et la femme dit à Élie : Maintenant, à cela je connais que tu es un homme de Dieu, et que la parole de l'Éternel dans ta bouche est la vérité. |

Entonces la mujer dijo a Elías: Ahora conozco que tú eres varón de Dios, y que la palabra de Jehová es verdad en tu boca. |
