And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu; |

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regem–melech, and their men, to pray before the Lord, |

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years? |
pour parler aux sacrificateurs qui étaient dans la maison de l'Éternel des armées, et aux prophètes, disant : Pleurerai-je au cinquième mois, en me séparant comme j'ai fait, voici tant d'années ? |

and to speak unto the priests that were in the house of Jehovah of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done now so many years? |
y a hablar a los sacerdotes que estaban en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, y a los profetas, diciendo: ¿Lloraremos en el mes quinto? ¿Haremos abstinencia como hemos hecho ya algunos años? |

Then came the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying, |
Et la parole de l'Éternel des armées vint à moi, disant : |

And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying, |
Vino, pues, a mí palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo: |

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me? |
Parle à tout le peuple du pays, et aux sacrificateurs, disant : Quand vous avez jeûné et que vous vous êtes lamentés au cinquième et au septième [mois], et cela pendant soixante-dix ans, est-ce réellement pourc moi, pourc moi, que vous avez jeûné ? |

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month , even those seventy years, did ye really fast unto me, even unto me? |
Habla a todo el pueblo del país, y a los sacerdotes, diciendo: Cuando ayunasteis y llorasteis en el quinto y en el séptimo mes estos setenta años, ¿habéis ayunado para mí? |

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves? |
Et quand vous avez mangé et bu, n'est-ce pas vous qui mangiez et qui buviez ? |

And when ye ate, and when ye drank, was it not you that were eating and drinking? |
Y cuando coméis y bebéis, ¿no coméis y bebéis para vosotros mismos? |

Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? |
Ne sont-ce pas là les paroles que l'Éternel a criées par les premiers prophètes, alors que Jérusalem était habitée et jouissait de la paix, ainsi que ses villes qui l'entouraient, et que le midi et le pays plat étaient habités ? |

Are not these the words that Jehovah cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and at peace, and her cities round about her, when the south and the lowland were inhabited? |
¿No son estas las palabras que proclamó Jehová por medio de los profetas primeros, cuando Jerusalén estaba habitada y tranquila, y sus ciudades en sus alrededores y el Neguev y la Sefela estaban también habitados? |

Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother: |
Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, disant : Prononcez des jugements de vérité, et usez de bonté et de miséricorde l'un envers l'autre, |

Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew loving-kindness and mercies one to another, |
Así habló Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo: Juzgad conforme a la verdad, y haced misericordia y piedad cada cual con su hermano; |

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart. |
et n'opprimez pas la veuve et l'orphelin, l'étranger et l'affligé ; et ne méditez pas le mal dans votre cœur, l'un contre l'autre. |

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear. |
Mais ils refusèrent d'être attentifs, et opposèrent une épaule revêche, et appesantirent leurs oreilles pour ne pas entendre, |

Pero no quisieron escuchar, antes volvieron la espalda, y taparon sus oídos para no oír; |

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts. |
et rendirent leur cœur [dur comme] un diamant, pour ne pas écouter la loi et les paroles que l'Éternel des armées envoyait par son Esprit, par les premiers prophètes ; et il y eut une grande colère de la part de l'Éternel des armées. |

And they made their heart as an adamant, that they should not hear the law, and the words that Jehovah of hosts sent by his Spirit by the hand of the former prophets: therefore was there great wrath from Jehovah of hosts. |
y pusieron su corazón como diamante, para no oír la ley ni las palabras que Jehová de los ejércitos enviaba por su Espíritu, por medio de los profetas primeros; vino, por tanto, gran enojo de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos. |

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts: |
Et il arriva que, comme il cria et qu'ils n'écoutèrent pas, de même ils crièrent, et je n'écoutai pas, dit l'Éternel des armées ; |

And it came to pass, like as he called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear, saith Jehovah of hosts; |
Y aconteció que así como él clamó, y no escucharon, también ellos clamaron, y yo no escuché, dice Jehová de los ejércitos; |

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate. |
et je les dispersai, comme par un tourbillon, parmi toutes les nations qu'ils ne connaissaient pas, et le pays fut désolé derrière eux, de sorte qu'il n'y avait ni allants ni venants ; et ils rendirent désolé le pays désirable. |

and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not, and the land was desolate after them, so that no one passed through nor returned; and they laid the pleasant land desolate. |
sino que los esparcí con torbellino por todas las naciones que ellos no conocían, y la tierra fue desolada tras ellos, sin quedar quien fuese ni viniese; pues convirtieron en desierto la tierra deseable. |
