| 17 | For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? | Car le temps [est venu] de commencer le jugement par la maison de Dieu ; mais s'il commence premièrement par nous, quelle sera la fin de ceux qui n'obéissent pash à l'évangile de Dieu ? | Porque llegó el tiempo de comenzar el juicio por la casa de Dios; y si comienza por nosotros, ¿cuál será el fin de los que no obedecen al evangelio de Dios? | For the time of having the judgment begin from the house of God is come ; but if first from us, what shall be the end of those who obey not the glad tidings of God? | Porque es tiempo de que el juicio comience por la casa de Dios; y si primero comienza por nosotros, ¿cuál será el fin de aquellos que no obedecen al evangelio de Dios? |
| 18 | And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? | Et si le juste est sauvé difficilement, où paraîtra l'impie et le pécheur ? | Y si el justo se salva con dificultad, el impío y el pecador ¿dónde aparecerán? | And if the righteous is difficultly saved, where shall the impious and the sinner appear? | Y: Si el justo con dificultad se salva, ¿En dónde aparecerá el impío y el pecador?b |
| 19 | Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. | Que ceux donc aussi qui souffrent selon la volonté de Dieu, remettent leurs âmes en faisant le bien, à un fidèle créateur. | Por eso los que sufren según la voluntad de Dios, encomienden sus almas al fiel Creador, haciendo el bien. | Wherefore also let them who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing to a faithful Creator. | De modo que los que padecen según la voluntad de Dios, encomienden sus almas al fiel Creador, y hagan el bien. |
