Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. |
Quiconque croit que Jésus est le Christ, est né de Dieu ; et quiconque aime celui qui a engendré, aime aussi celui qui est engendré de lui. |

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. |
Par ceci nous savons que nous aimons les enfants de Dieu, c'est quand nous aimons Dieu et que nous gardons ses commandements ; |
En esto sabemos que amamos a los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos a Dios y guardamos sus mandamientos. |
Hereby know we that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. |
En esto conocemos que amamos a los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos a Dios, y guardamos sus mandamientos. |

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. |
car c'est ici l'amour de Dieu, que nous gardions ses commandements, et ses commandements ne sont pas pénibles, |
Porque este es el amor de Dios, que guardemos sus mandamientos; y sus mandamientos no son gravosos. |
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous. |

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. |
parce que tout ce qui est né de Dieu est victorieux du monde ; et c'est ici la victoire qui a vaincu le monde, [savoir] notre foi. |
Porque todo el que ha nacido de Dios vence al mundo; y esta es la victoria que venció al mundo, nuestra fe. |
For all that has been begotten of God gets the victory over the world; and this is the victory which has gotten the victory over the world, our faith. |

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
Qui est celui qui est victorieux du monde, sinon celui qui croit que Jésus est le Fils de Dieu ? |
¿Y quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios? |
Who is he that gets the victory over the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? |

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. |
C'est lui qui est venu par [l']eau et par [le] sang, Jésus le Christ, non seulement dans [la puissance de] l'eau, mais dans [la puissance de] l'eau et du sang ; et c'est l'Esprit qui rend témoignage, car l'Esprit est la vérité ; |
Este es el que vino mediante agua y sangre, Jesucristo; no solo con el agua, sino con el agua y con la sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio, porque el Espíritu es la verdad. |
This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus the Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, for the Spirit is the truth. |

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. |
car il y en a trois qui rendent témoignage : |

For they that bear witness are three: |
Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo: el Padre, el Verbo y el Espíritu Santo; y estos tres son uno. |

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. |
l'Esprit, et l'eau, et le sang, et les trois sont [d'accord] pour un même [témoignage]. |

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. |
Si nous recevons le témoignage des hommes, le témoignage de Dieu est plus grand ; car c'est ici le témoignage de Dieu qu'il a rendu au sujet de son Fils. |
Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, mayor es el testimonio de Dios; porque este es el testimonio de Dios, que él ha dado acerca de su Hijo. |
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God which he has witnessed concerning his Son. |

Celui qui croit au Fils de Dieu, a le témoignage au dedans de lui-même ; celui qui ne croit pas Dieu, l'a fait menteur, car il n'a pas cru au témoignage que Dieu a rendu au sujet de son Fils. |
El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene en sí mismo el testimonio. El que no cree a Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso, porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha dado acerca de su Hijo. |
He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself; he that does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning his Son. |
El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene el testimonio en sí mismo; el que no cree a Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso, porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha dado acerca de su Hijo. |

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. |
Et c'est ici le témoignage : que Dieu nous a donné la vie éternelle, et cette vie est dans son Fils : |
Y este es el testimonio: Que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna, y esta vida está en su Hijo. |

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. |
Celui qui a le Fils a la vie, celui qui n'a pas le Fils de Dieu n'a pas la vie. |
El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida; el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la vida. |
He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life. |
El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida; el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios no tiene la vida. |

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
Je vous ai écrit ces choses afin que vous sachiez que vous avez la vie éternelle, vous qui croyez au nom du Fils de Dieu. |
Estas cosas os he escrito, a los que creéis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios, para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna. |
These things have I written to you that ye may know that ye have eternal life who believe on the name of the Son of God. |

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: |
Et c'est ici la confiance que nous avons en lui, que si nous demandons quelque chose selon sa volonté, il nous écoute ; |
Y esta es la confianza que tenemos para con él, que si pedimos algo conforme a su voluntad, él nos escucha. |
And this is the boldness which we have towards him, that if we ask him anything according to his will he hears us. |
Y esta es la confianza que tenemos en él, que si pedimos alguna cosa conforme a su voluntad, él nos oye. |

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. |
et si nous savons qu'il nous écoute, quoi que ce soit que nous demandions, nous savons que nous avons les chosesa que nous lui avons demandées. |
Y si sabemos que nos escucha en cuanto le pedimos, sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hemos hecho. |
And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. |
Y si sabemos que él nos oye en cualquiera cosa que pidamos, sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hayamos hecho. |

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. |
Si quelqu'un voit son frère pécher d'un péché qui ne soit pas à la mort, il demandera [pour lui] ; et il lui donnera la vie, [savoir] à ceux qui ne pèchent pas à la mort. Il y a un péché à la mort : pour ce péché-là, je ne dis pas qu'il demande. |
Si alguno ve a su hermano cometer un pecado que no es para muerte, pedirá, y Dios le dará vida; esto es para los que cometen pecado que no sea de muerte. Hay pecado que es para muerte; acerca de este no digo que ha de pedir. |
If any one see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life, for those that do not sin unto death. There is a sin to death: I do not say of that that he should make a request. |
Si alguno viere a su hermano cometer pecado que no sea de muerte, pedirá, y Dios le dará vida; esto es para los que cometen pecado que no sea de muerte. Hay pecado de muerte, por el cual yo no digo que se pida. |

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. |
Toute iniquitéb est péché, et il y a tel péché qui n'est pas à la mort. |
Toda injusticia es pecado; pero hay pecado que no es para muerte. |
Every unrighteousness is sin; and there is a sin not to death. |

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. |
Nous savons que quiconque est né de Dieu ne pèche pas, mais celui qui est né de Dieu se conserve lui-même, et le méchant ne le touche pas. |
Sabemos que todo el que es nacido de Dios, no peca; el Engendrado de Dios lo guarda y el maligno no lo toca. |
We know that every one begotten of God does not sin, but he that has been begotten of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. |
Sabemos que todo aquel que ha nacido de Dios, no practica el pecado, pues Aquel que fue engendrado por Dios le guarda, y el maligno no le toca. |

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. |
Nous savons que nous sommes de Dieu, et que le monde entier gît dans le méchant. |
Sabemos que nosotros somos de Dios, y que el mundo entero yace en el maligno. |
We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the wicked one . |

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. |
Or nous savons que le Fils de Dieu est venu, et il nous a donné une intelligence afin que nous connaissions le Véritable, et nous sommes dans le Véritable, [savoir] dans son Fils Jésus Christ : lui est le Dieu véritable et la vie éternelle. |
Y sabemos que el Hijo de Dios ha venido, y nos ha dado entendimiento para que conozcamos al verdadero; y estamos en el verdadero, en su Hijo Jesucristo. Este es el verdadero Dios, y la vida eterna. |
And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding that we should know him that is true; and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. |
Pero sabemos que el Hijo de Dios ha venido, y nos ha dado entendimiento para conocer al que es verdadero; y estamos en el verdadero, en su Hijo Jesucristo. Este es el verdadero Dios, y la vida eterna. |

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. |
