For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; |

For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. |
car lors même que je suis absent de corpsa, toutefois je suis avec vous en esprit, me réjouissant et voyant votre ordre, et la fermeté de votre foi en Christ. |

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. |
marchez en lui, enracinés et édifiés en lui, et affermis dans la foi, selon que vous avez été enseignés, abondant en elle avec des actions de grâces. |

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. |
Prenez garde que personne ne fasse de vous sa proieb par la philosophie et par de vaines déceptions, selon l'enseignementc des hommes, selon les éléments du monde, et non selon Christ ; |

See that there be no one who shall lead *you* away as a prey through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the teaching of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ. |

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. |

Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, |

Let no one fraudulently deprive you of your prize, doing his own will in humility and worship of angels, entering into things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh, |
Nadie os prive de vuestro premio, afectando humildad y culto a los ángeles, entremetiéndose en lo que no ha visto, vanamente hinchado por su propia mente carnal, |

And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. |
et ne tenant pas ferme le chefj, duquel tout le corps, alimenté et bien uni ensemble par des jointures et des liens, croît de l'accroissement de Dieu. |
no teniéndose con firmeza a la Cabeza, de la que todo el cuerpo, alimentado y unido por coyunturas y ligamentos, crece con el crecimiento que da Dios. |

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, |

If ye have died with Christ from the elements of the world, why as if alive in the world do ye subject yourselves to ordinances? |
Pues si habéis muerto con Cristo en cuanto a los rudimentos del mundo, ¿por qué, como si vivieseis en el mundo, os sometéis a preceptos |

(Touch not; taste not; handle not; |
— ne prends pas, ne goûte pas, ne touche pas ! |
No tomes, ni gustes, ni toques? |
Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch, |
tales como: No manejes, ni gustes, ni aun toques |

Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? |
— (choses qui sont toutes destinées à périr par l'usage,) selon les commandements et les enseignements des hommes |
Todas estas cosas están destinadas a perecer con el uso y son según preceptos y enseñanzas de hombres. |
(things which are all for destruction in the using of them :) according to the injunctions and teachings of men, |
(en conformidad a mandamientos y doctrinas de hombres), cosas que todas se destruyen con el uso? |

Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. |
(qui ont bien une apparence de sagesse en dévotion volontaire et en humilité, et en ce qu'elles n'épargnent pas le corps, ne [lui] rendant pas un certain honneur), pour la satisfaction de la chair ? |
Los cuales tienen, a la verdad, apariencia de sabiduría, con una voluntaria devoción, una falsa humildad y duro trato para el cuerpo; pero no tienen ningún valor contra los deseos de la carne. |
(which have indeed an appearance of wisdom in voluntary worship, and humility, and harsh treatment of the body, not in a certain honour,) to the satisfaction of the flesh. |
Tales cosas tienen a la verdad cierta reputación de sabiduría en culto voluntario, en humildad y en duro trato del cuerpo; pero no tienen valor alguno contra los apetitos de la carne. |
