Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, |
Or nous vous prions, frères, par la venue de notre seigneur Jésus Christ et par notre rassemblement auprès de lui, |
Pero os rogamos, hermanos, respecto a la venida de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y a nuestra reunión con él, |
Now we beg you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him, |

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. |
de ne pas vous laisser promptement bouleverser dans vos penséesa, ni troubler, ni par esprit, ni par parole, ni par lettre, comme [si c'était] par nous, comme si le jour du Seigneur était là. |
que no os dejéis alterar fácilmente en vuestro modo de pensar, ni os alarméis por una supuesta revelación, ni por mensaje, ni por carta, como si fuera de nosotros, en el sentido de que el día del Señor ha llegado. |
that ye be not soon shaken in mind, nor troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as if it were by us, as that the day of the Lord is present. |
que no os dejéis mover fácilmente de vuestro modo de pensar, ni os conturbéis, ni por espíritu, ni por palabra, ni por carta como si fuera nuestra, en el sentido de que el día del Señor está cerca. |

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; |
Que personne ne vous séduise en aucune manière, car [ce jour-là ne viendra pas] que l'apostasie ne soit arrivée auparavant et que l'homme de péché n'ait été révélé, le fils de perdition, |
Nadie os engañe de ninguna manera; porque ese día no vendrá sin que venga primero la apostasía y sea revelado el hombre de pecado, el hijo de perdición; |
Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because it will not be unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition; |
Nadie os engañe en ninguna manera; porque no vendrá sin que antes venga la apostasía, y se manifieste el hombre de pecado, el hijo de perdición, |

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. |
qui s'oppose et s'élève contre tout ce qui est appelé Dieu ou qui est un objet de vénération, en sorte que lui-même s'assiéra au templeb de Dieu, se présentant lui-même comme étant Dieuc. |
el cual se opone y se levanta contra todo lo que se llama Dios o es objeto de adoración; de modo que se sienta en el templo de Dios, presentándose él mismo como Dios. |
who opposes and exalts himself on high against all called God, or object of veneration; so that he himself sits down in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. |
el cual se opone y se levanta contra todo lo que se llama Dios o es objeto de culto;b tanto que se sienta en el templo de Dios como Dios, haciéndose pasar por Dios. |

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? |
Ne vous souvenez-vous pas que, quand j'étais encore auprès de vous, je vous disais ces choses ? |
¿No recordáis que estando aún con vosotros os decía estas cosas? |
Do ye not remember that, being yet with you, I said these things to you? |
¿No os acordáis que cuando yo estaba todavía con vosotros, os decía esto? |

And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. |
Et maintenant vous savez ce qui retient pour qu'il soit révélé en son propre temps. |
Y ahora sabéis lo que lo retiene, para que sea revelado a su propio tiempo. |
And now ye know that which restrains, that he should be revealed in his own time. |
Y ahora vosotros sabéis lo que lo detiene, a fin de que a su debido tiempo se manifieste. |

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. |
Car le mystère d'iniquitéd opère déjà ; seulement celui qui retient maintenant, [le fera] jusqu'à ce qu'il soit loin. |
Porque el misterio de la iniquidad ya está actuando; solo que el que ahora lo retiene, lo hará hasta que desaparezca de en medio. |
For the mystery of lawlessness already works; only there is he who restrains now until he be gone, |
Porque ya está en acción el misterio de la iniquidad; solo que hay quien al presente lo detiene, hasta que él a su vez sea quitado de en medio. |

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: |
Et alors sera révélé l'iniquee, que le seigneur Jésus consumeraf par le souffleg de sa bouche et qu'il anéantira par l'apparition de sa venue ; |
Y entonces será revelado el inicuo (a quien el Señor Jesús matará con el espíritu de su boca, y destruirá con la manifestación de su venida), |
and then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall annul by the appearing of his coming; |
Y entonces se manifestará aquel inicuo, a quien el Señor matará con el espíritu de su boca,c y destruirá con el resplandor de su venida; |

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, |
duquel la venue est selon l'opération de Satan, en toute sorte de miracles et signes et prodiges de mensonge, |
cuya presencia es la obra de Satanás, con todo poder, y señales, y prodigios de mentira, |
whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and wonders of falsehood, |
inicuo cuyo advenimiento es por obra de Satanás, con gran poder y señales y prodigios mentirosos,d |

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. |
et en toute séduction d'injustice pour ceux qui périssent, parce qu'ils n'ont pas reçu l'amour de la vérité pour être sauvés. |
y con todo engaño de injusticia para los que se pierden, porque no aceptaron el amor de la verdad para ser salvos. |
and in all deceit of unrighteousness to them that perish, because they have not received the love of the truth that they might be saved. |
y con todo engaño de iniquidad para los que se pierden, por cuanto no recibieron el amor de la verdad para ser salvos. |

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: |
Et à cause de cela, Dieu leur envoie une énergieh d'erreur pour qu'ils croient au mensonge, |
Por esto, Dios les envía una energía de error, para que crean a la mentira; |
And for this reason God sends to them a working of error, that they should believe what is false, |
Por esto Dios les envía un poder engañoso, para que crean la mentira, |

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. |
afin que tous ceux-là soient jugés qui n'ont pas cru la vérité, mais qui ont pris plaisir à l'injusticei. |
para que sean juzgados todos los que no creyeron a la verdad, sino que se complacieron en la injusticia. |
that all might be judged who have not believed the truth, but have found pleasure in unrighteousness. |
a fin de que sean condenados todos los que no creyeron a la verdad, sino que se complacieron en la injusticia. |

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: |
Mais nous, nous devons toujours rendre grâces à Dieu pour vous, frères aimés du Seigneur, de ce que Dieu vous a choisis dès le commencement pour le salut, dans la sainteté de l'Esprit et la foi de la vérité, |
Pero nosotros siempre debemos dar gracias a Dios por vosotros, hermanos amados del Señor, porque Dios os escogió desde el principio para salvación, por la santificación del Espíritu y la fe en la verdad, |
But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, that God has chosen you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: |
Pero nosotros debemos dar siempre gracias a Dios respecto a vosotros, hermanos amados por el Señor, de que Dios os haya escogido desde el principio para salvación, mediante la santificación por el Espíritu y la fe en la verdad, |

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
à quoi il vous a appelés par notre évangile, pour que vous obteniez la gloirej de notre seigneur Jésus Christ. |
a la cual os llamó mediante nuestro evangelio, para obtener la gloria de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. |
whereto he has called you by our glad tidings, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
a lo cual os llamó mediante nuestro evangelio, para alcanzar la gloria de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. |

Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. |
Ainsi donc, frères, demeurez fermes, et retenez les enseignements que vous avez appris soit par parolek, soit par notre lettre. |
Así pues, hermanos, estad firmes, y retened las doctrinas que os fueron enseñadas, sea por palabra o por carta nuestra. |
So then, brethren, stand firm, and hold fast the instructions which ye have been taught, whether by word or by our letter. |
Así que, hermanos, estad firmes, y retened la doctrina que habéis aprendido, sea por palabra, o por carta nuestra. |

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, |
Or notre seigneur Jésus Christ lui-même, et notre Dieu et Père, qui nous a aimés et [nous] a donné une consolation éternelle et une bonne espérance par grâce, |
Que nuestro mismo Señor Jesucristo, y nuestro Dios y Padre, quien nos amó y nos dio eterno consuelo y buena esperanza por gracia, |
But our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given us eternal consolation and good hope by grace, |
Y el mismo Jesucristo Señor nuestro, y Dios nuestro Padre, el cual nos amó y nos dio consolación eterna y buena esperanza por gracia, |

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. |
veuille consoler vos cœurs et [vous]l affermir en toute bonne œuvre et en toute bonne parole. |
consuele vuestros corazones y os fortalezca en toda obra y palabra buena. |
encourage your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word. |
conforte vuestros corazones, y os confirme en toda buena palabra y obra. |
