Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: |

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. |

and that we may be delivered from bad and evil men, for faith is not the portion of all. |

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. |

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. |
Mais nous vous enjoignons, frères, au nom de notre seigneur Jésus Christ, de vous retirer de tout frère qui marche dans le désordre, et non pas selon l'enseignement qu'il a reçub de nous. |
Hermanos, os encargamos en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo que os apartéis de todo hermano que anda desordenadamente, y no según la enseñanza que recibisteis de nosotros. |

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; |

For ye know yourselves how ye ought to imitate us, because we have not walked disorderly among you; |

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: |

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. |

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. |
Car aussi, quand nous étions auprès de vous, nous vous avons enjoint ceci : que si quelqu'un ne veut pas travailler, qu'il ne mange pas non plus. |
Porque incluso cuando estábamos con vosotros, esto os encargamos: Que si alguien no quiere trabajar, que tampoco coma. |
For also when we were with you we enjoined you this, that if any man does not like to work, neither let him eat. |

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. |
Car nous apprenons qu'il y en a quelques-uns parmi vous qui marchent dans le désordre, ne travaillant pas du tout, mais se mêlant de tout. |
Porque oímos que algunos andan desordenadamente entre vosotros, sin trabajar en nada, sino entrometiéndose en lo ajeno. |
For we hear that there are some walking among you disorderly, not working at all, but busybodies. |

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. |
Mais nous enjoignons à ceux qui sont tels, et nous les exhortons dans le seigneur Jésus Christ, de manger leur propre pain en travaillant paisiblement. |
A estos les ordenamos y exhortamos en el Señor Jesucristo que, trabajando con serenidad, coman su propio pan. |
Now such we enjoin and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that working quietly they eat their own bread. |

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. |

And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. |
Et si quelqu'un n'obéit pas à notre parole [qui vous est adressée] dans cette lettre, notez-le et n'ayez pas de commercec avec lui, afin qu'il en ait de la honte ; |
Y si alguno no obedece a lo que os decimos en esta carta, a este señalad, y no tengáis relación con él, para que se avergüence; |
But if any one obey not our word by the letter, mark that man, and do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed of himself; |

Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. |
et ne le tenez pas pour un ennemi, mais avertissez-le comme un frère. |

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. |
