In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. |

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: |

And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; |
Et je priai l'Éternel, mon Dieu, et je fis ma confession, et je dis : Je te supplie, Seigneur, le ∗Dieua grand et terrible, qui gardes l'alliance et la bonté envers ceux qui t'aiment et qui gardent tes commandements ! |

and I prayed unto Jehovah my God, and made my confession, and said, Alas Lord! the great and terrible *God, keeping covenant and loving-kindness with them that love him, and that keep his commandments: |
Y oré a Jehová mi Dios e hice confesión diciendo: Ahora, Señor, Dios grande, digno de ser temido, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia con los que te aman y guardan tus mandamientos; |

We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: |
Nous avons péché, nous avons commis l'iniquité, nous avons agi méchamment, et nous nous sommes rebellés et nous nous sommes détournés de tes commandements et de tes ordonnances ; |

Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. |
et nous n'avons pas écouté tes serviteurs les prophètes, qui parlaient en ton nom à nos rois, à nos princes, et à nos pères, et à tout le peuple du pays. |

And we have not hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, who spoke in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. |
No hemos obedecido a tus siervos los profetas, que en tu nombre hablaron a nuestros reyes, a nuestros príncipes, a nuestros padres y a todo el pueblo de la tierra. |

O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. |
À toi, Seigneur, la justice, et à nous la confusion de face, comme [elle est] aujourd'hui, — aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem et à tout Israël, à ceux qui sont près et à ceux qui sont loin, dans tous les pays où tu les as chassés, à cause de leurs infidélités par lesquelles ils ont été infidèles envers toi. |

Thine, O Lord, is the righteousness, but unto us confusion of face, as at this day, to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, in all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their unfaithfulness in which they have been unfaithful against thee. |

O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. |

To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; |

Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. |
et nous n'avons pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour marcher selon ses lois qu'il a mises devant nous par ses serviteurs les prophètes. |

Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him. |
Et tout Israël a transgressé ta loi et s'est détourné en n'écoutant pas ta voix. Alors ont été versés sur nous l'exécration et le serment qui sont écrits dans la loi de Moïse, serviteur de Dieu, parce que nous avons péché contre lui ; |

And all Israel have transgressed thy law, even turning aside so as not to listen unto thy voice. And the curse hath been poured out upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God: for we have sinned against him. |
Todo Israel traspasó tu ley apartándose para no obedecer tu voz; por lo cual ha caído sobre nosotros la maldición y el juramento que está escrito en la ley de Moisés, siervo de Dios; porque contra él pecamos. |

And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. |
et il a accompli ses paroles qu'il a prononcées contre nous et contre nos juges qui nous jugeaient, en faisant venir sur nous un mal si grand que rien ne s'est fait sous tous les cieux comme ce qui a été fait à Jérusalem. |

And he hath performed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil; so that there hath not been done under the whole heaven as hath been done upon Jerusalem. |
Y él ha cumplido la palabra que habló contra nosotros y contra nuestros jefes que nos gobernaron, trayendo sobre nosotros tan grande mal; pues nunca fue hecho debajo del cielo nada semejante a lo que se ha hecho contra Jerusalén. |

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. |
Selon qu'il est écrit dans la loi de Moïse, tout ce mal est venu sur nous ; et nous n'avons pas imploré l'Éternel, notre Dieu, afin de revenir de nos iniquités et de comprendre ta vérité. |

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us; yet we besought not Jehovah our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. |
Conforme está escrito en la ley de Moisés, todo este mal vino sobre nosotros; y no hemos implorado el favor de Jehová nuestro Dios, para convertirnos de nuestras maldades y entender tu verdad. |

Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice. |
Et l'Éternel a veillé sur le mal, et l'a fait venir sur nous ; car l'Éternel, notre Dieu, est juste dans toutes les œuvres qu'il a faites ; et nous n'avons pas écouté sa voix. — |

And Jehovah hath watched over the evil, and brought it upon us; for Jehovah our God is righteous in all his works which he hath done; and we have not hearkened unto his voice. |
Por tanto, Jehová veló sobre el mal y lo trajo sobre nosotros; porque justo es Jehová nuestro Dios en todas sus obras que ha hecho, porque no obedecimos a su voz. |

And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly. |
Et maintenant, Seigneur, notre Dieu, toi qui as fait sortir ton peuple du pays d'Égypte à main forte, et qui t'es fait un nom, comme [il paraît] aujourd'hui : nous avons péché, nous avons agi méchamment ! |

--And now, O Lord our God, who broughtest thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a strong hand, and hast made thee a name, as it is this day, --we have sinned, we have done wickedly. |
Ahora pues, Señor Dios nuestro, que sacaste tu pueblo de la tierra de Egipto con mano poderosa, y te hiciste renombre cual lo tienes hoy; hemos pecado, hemos hecho impíamente. |

O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us. |
Seigneur, selon toutes tes justices, que ta colère et ta fureur se détournent, je te prie, de ta ville de Jérusalem, ta sainte montagne. Car à cause de nos péchés, et à cause des iniquités de nos pères, Jérusalem et ton peuple sont en opprobre à tous ceux qui nous entourent. |

Lord, according to all thy righteousnesses, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain; for because of our sins, and because of the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all round about us. |
Oh Señor, conforme a todos tus actos de justicia, apártese ahora tu ira y tu furor de sobre tu ciudad Jerusalén, tu santo monte; porque a causa de nuestros pecados, y por la maldad de nuestros padres, Jerusalén y tu pueblo son el oprobio de todos en derredor nuestro. |

Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake. |
Et maintenant, écoute, ô notre Dieu, la prière de ton serviteur et ses supplications, et, pour l'amour du Seigneur, fais luire ta face sur ton sanctuaire désolé. |

And now, our God, hearken to the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. |
Ahora pues, Dios nuestro, oye la oración de tu siervo, y sus ruegos; y haz que tu rostro resplandezca sobre tu santuario asolado, por amor del Señor. |

O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. |
Incline ton oreille, ô mon Dieu, et écoute ; ouvre tes yeux, et vois nos désolations, et la ville qui est appelée de ton nom. Car ce n'est pas à cause de nos justices que nous présentonsc devant toi nos supplications, mais à cause de tes grandesd compassions. |

Incline thine ear, O my God, and hear; open thine eyes and behold our desolations, and the city that is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee because of our righteousnesses, but because of thy manifold mercies. |
Inclina, oh Dios mío, tu oído, y oye; abre tus ojos, y mira nuestras desolaciones, y la ciudad sobre la cual es invocado tu nombre; porque no elevamos nuestros ruegos ante ti confiados en nuestras justicias, sino en tus muchas misericordias. |

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. |
Seigneur, écoute ; Seigneur, pardonne ; Seigneur, sois attentif et agis ; ne tarde pas, à cause de toi-même, mon Dieu ; car ta ville et ton peuple sont appelés de ton nom. |

Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, hearken and do! defer not, for thine own sake, O my God! for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. |

And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God; |
Et je parlais encore, et je priais et confessais mon péché et le péché de mon peuple Israël, et je présentais ma supplication devant l'Éternel, mon Dieu, pour la sainte montagne de mon Dieu, — |

And whilst I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before Jehovah my God for the holy mountain of my God; |
Aún estaba hablando y orando, y confesando mi pecado y el pecado de mi pueblo Israel, y derramaba mi ruego delante de Jehová mi Dios por el monte santo de mi Dios; |

Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. |
je parlais encore en priant, et l'homme Gabriel que j'avais vu dans la vision au commencement, volant avec rapidité, me toucha vers le temps de l'offrande de gâteau du soir. |

whilst I was yet speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, flying swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. |
aún estaba hablando en oración, cuando el varón Gabriel,b a quien había visto en la visión al principio, volando con presteza, vino a mí como a la hora del sacrificio de la tarde. |

And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. |
Et il me fit comprendre, et me parla, et dit : Daniel, je suis maintenant sorti pour éclairer ton intelligence. |

And he informed me , and talked with me, and said, Daniel, I am now come forth to make thee skilful of understanding. |
Y me hizo entender, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Daniel, ahora he salido para darte sabiduría y entendimiento. |

At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. |
Au commencement de tes supplications la parole est sortie, et je suis venu pour [te la] déclarer, car tu es un bien-aimé. Comprends donc la parole, et sois intelligent dans la vision : |

At the beginning of thy supplications the word went forth, and I am come to declare it ; for thou art one greatly beloved. Therefore consider the word, and have understanding in the vision: |
Al principio de tus ruegos fue dada la orden, y yo he venido para enseñártela, porque tú eres muy amado. Entiende, pues, la orden, y entiende la visión. |

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. |
Soixante-dix semaines ont été déterminées sur ton peuple et sur ta sainte ville, pour clore la transgression, et pour en finir avec les péchés, et pour faire propitiation pour l'iniquité, et pour introduire la justice des siècles, et pour sceller la vision et le prophète, et pour oindre le saint des saints. |

Seventy weeks are apportioned out upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to close the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make expiation for iniquity, and to bring in the righteousness of the ages, and to seal the vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies. |
Setenta semanas están determinadas sobre tu pueblo y sobre tu santa ciudad, para terminar la prevaricación, y poner fin al pecado, y expiar la iniquidad, para traer la justicia perdurable, y sellar la visión y la profecía, y ungir al Santo de los santos. |

Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. |
Et sache, et comprends : Depuis la sortie de la parole pour rétablir et rebâtir Jérusalem, jusqu'au Messie, [le] princee, il y a sept semaines et soixante-deux semaines ; la place et le fossé seront rebâtis, et [cela] en des temps de trouble. |

Know therefore and understand: From the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah, the Prince, are seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. The street and the moat shall be built again, even in troublous times. |
Sabe, pues, y entiende, que desde la salida de la orden para restaurar y edificar a Jerusalén hasta el Mesías Príncipe, habrá siete semanas, y sesenta y dos semanas; se volverá a edificar la plaza y el muro en tiempos angustiosos. |

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. |
Et après les soixante-deux semaines, [le] Messie sera retranché et n'aura rien ; et le peuple du prince qui viendra, détruira la ville et le lieu saint, et la fin en sera avec débordement ; et jusqu'à la fin [il y aura] guerre, un décret de désolations. |

And after the sixty-two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with an overflow, and unto the end, war, --the desolations determined. |
Y después de las sesenta y dos semanas se quitará la vida al Mesías, mas no por sí; y el pueblo de un príncipe que ha de venir destruirá la ciudad y el santuario; y su fin será con inundación, y hasta el fin de la guerra durarán las devastaciones. |

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. |
Et il confirmera une alliance avec la multitude [pour] une semaine ; et au milieu de la semainef il fera cesser le sacrifice et l'offrande ; et à cause de la protection des abominationsg [il y aura] un désolateur, et jusqu'à ce que la consomption et [ce qui est] décrétéh soient versés sur la désoléei. |

And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and because of the protection of abominations there shall be a desolator, even until that the consumption and what is determined shall be poured out upon the desolate. |
Y por otra semana confirmará el pacto con muchos; a la mitad de la semana hará cesar el sacrificio y la ofrenda. Después con la muchedumbre de las abominaciones vendrá el desolador,c hasta que venga la consumación, y lo que está determinado se derrame sobre el desolador. |
