Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. |
☆ Et Boaz monta à la porte, et s'assit là. Et voici, celui qui avait le droit de rachat, [et] dont Boaz avait parlé, vint à passer ; et il dit : Toi, un tel, détourne-toi, assieds-toi ici. Et il se détourna et s'assit. |

And Boaz went up to the gate, and sat down there. And behold, he that had the right of redemption, of whom Boaz had spoken, came by. And he said, Thou, such a one, turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside and sat down. |
Booz subió a la puerta y se sentó allí; y he aquí pasaba aquel pariente de quien Booz había hablado, y le dijo: Eh, fulano, ven acá y siéntate. Y él vino y se sentó. |

And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. |
Et [Boaz] prit dix hommes des anciens de la ville, et dit : Asseyez-vous ici. Et ils s'assirent. |

And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit down here. And they sat down. |
Entonces él tomó a diez varones de los ancianos de la ciudad, y dijo: Sentaos aquí. Y ellos se sentaron. |

And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s: |
Et il dit à celui qui avait le droit de rachat : Naomi, qui est revenue des champs de Moab, vend la pièce de terrea qui était à notre frère Élimélec. |

And he said to him that had the right of redemption: Naomi, who is come back out of the country of Moab, sells the allotment that was our brother Elimelech's. |
Luego dijo al pariente: Noemí, que ha vuelto del campo de Moab, vende una parte de las tierras que tuvo nuestro hermano Elimelec. |

And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. |
Et moi, je me suis dit : Je t'en informeraib, et je te dirai : Achète-la en la présence des habitants et en la présence des anciens de mon peuple. Si tu veux racheter, rachète ; et si tu ne veux pas racheter, déclare-le-moi, afin que je le sache ; car il n'y a personne que toi pour racheter, et moi je suis après toi. |

And I thought I would apprise thee of it and say, Buy it in the presence of the inhabitants, and in the presence of the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it , redeem; but if thou wilt not redeem, tell me, that I may know; for there is none to redeem besides thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it . |
Y yo decidí hacértelo saber, y decirte que la compres en presencia de los que están aquí sentados, y de los ancianos de mi pueblo. Si tú quieres redimir, redime; y si no quieres redimir, decláramelo para que yo lo sepa; porque no hay otro que redima sino tú, y yo después de ti. Y él respondió: Yo redimiré. |

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. |
Et il dit : Je rachèterai. Et Boaz dit : Au jour que tu achèteras le champ de la main de Naomi, tu l'achèteras aussi de Ruth, la Moabite, femme du défunt, pour relever le nom du défunt sur son héritage. |

And Boaz said, On the day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. |
Entonces replicó Booz: El mismo día que compres las tierras de mano de Noemí, debes tomar también a Rut la moabita, mujer del difunto, para que restaures el nombre del muerto sobre su posesión. |

And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. |
Et celui qui avait le droit de rachat dit : Je ne puis pas le racheter pour moi, de peur que je ne ruine mon héritage ; use, toi, de mon droit de rachat, car je ne puis racheter. |

And he that had the right of redemption said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance. Redeem thou for thyself what I should redeem, for I cannot redeem it . |
Y respondió el pariente: No puedo redimir para mí, no sea que dañe mi heredad. Redime tú, usando de mi derecho, porque yo no podré redimir. |

Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. |
Or c'était jadis [une coutume] en Israël, en cas de rachat et d'échange, que, pour confirmer toute affaire, l'un ôtait sa sandale et la donnait à l'autre ; c'était là une coutumec en Israël. |

Now this was the custom in former time in Israel concerning redemption and concerning exchange, to confirm the whole matter: a man drew off his sandal, and gave it to his neighbour, and this was the mode of attestation in Israel. |
Había ya desde hacía tiempo esta costumbre en Israel tocante a la redención y al contrato, que para la confirmación de cualquier negocio, el uno se quitaba el zapato y lo daba a su compañero; y esto servía de testimonio en Israel. |

Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. |
Et celui qui avait le droit de rachat dit à Boaz : Achète pour toi ; et il ôta sa sandale. |

And he that had the right of redemption said to Boaz, Buy for thyself; and he drew off his sandal. |
Entonces el pariente dijo a Booz: Tómalo tú. Y se quitó el zapato.a |

And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi. |
Et Boaz dit aux anciens et à tout le peuple : Vous êtes aujourd'hui témoins que j'ai acheté de la main de Naomi tout ce qui était à Élimélec, et tout ce qui était à Kilion et à Makhlon ; |

And Boaz said to the elders and all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi; |
Y Booz dijo a los ancianos y a todo el pueblo: Vosotros sois testigos hoy, de que he adquirido de mano de Noemí todo lo que fue de Elimelec, y todo lo que fue de Quelión y de Mahlón. |

Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. |
et aussi que je me suis acquis pour femme Ruth, la Moabite, la femme de Makhlon, pour relever le nom du défunt sur son héritage, afin que le nom du défunt ne soit pas retranché d'entre ses frères et de la porte de son lieu : vous en êtes témoins aujourd'hui ! |

moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. |
Y que también tomo por mi mujer a Rut la moabita, mujer de Mahlón, para restaurar el nombre del difunto sobre su heredad, para que el nombre del muerto no se borre de entre sus hermanos y de la puerta de su lugar. Vosotros sois testigos hoy. |

And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth–lehem: |
Et tout le peuple qui était à la porte, et les anciens, dirent : [Nous en sommes] témoins. Fasse l'Éternel que la femme qui entre dans ta maison soit comme Rachel, et comme Léa, qui toutes deux ont bâti la maison d'Israël ! Et deviens puissant dans Éphrata, et fais-toi un nom dans Bethléhem ! |

And all the people that were in the gate and the elders said, We are witnesses. Jehovah make the woman that cometh into thy house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel; and acquire power in Ephratah, and make thyself a name in Bethlehem; |
Y dijeron todos los del pueblo que estaban a la puerta con los ancianos: Testigos somos. Jehová haga a la mujer que entra en tu casa como a Raquel y a Lea, las cuales edificaron la casa de Israel;b y tú seas ilustre en Efrata, y seas de renombre en Belén. |

And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the Lord shall give thee of this young woman. |
Et que, de la postéritéd que l'Éternel te donnera de cette jeune femme, ta maison soit comme la maison de Pérets, que Tamar enfanta à Juda ! |

and let thy house become like the house of Pherez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, of the seed which Jehovah shall give thee of this young woman. |
Y sea tu casa como la casa de Fares, el que Tamar dio a luz a Judá,c por la descendencia que de esa joven te dé Jehová. |

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son. |
Et Boaz prit Ruth, et elle fut sa femme ; et il vint vers elle ; et l'Éternel lui donna de concevoir, et elle enfanta un fils. |

And Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife; and he went in unto her, and Jehovah gave her conception, and she bore a son. |
Booz, pues, tomó a Rut, y ella fue su mujer; y se llegó a ella, y Jehová le dio que concibiese y diese a luz un hijo. |

And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. |
Et les femmes dirent à Naomi : Béni soit l'Éternel, qui ne t'a pas laissé manquer aujourd'hui d'un hommee qui ait le droit de rachat ! et que son nom soit nommé en Israël. |

And the women said to Naomi, Blessed be Jehovah who hath not left thee this day without one that has the right of redemption, and may his name be famous in Israel! |
Y las mujeres decían a Noemí: Loado sea Jehová, que hizo que no te faltase hoy pariente, cuyo nombre será celebrado en Israel; |

And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. |
Et il sera pour toi un restaurateur de ton âme, et un soutien de ta vieillesse ! Car ta belle-fille qui t'aime, l'a enfanté, elle qui vaut mieux pour toi que sept fils. |

And he shall be to thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age; for thy daughter-in-law who loves thee, who is better to thee than seven sons, has borne him. |
el cual será restaurador de tu alma, y sustentará tu vejez; pues tu nuera, que te ama, lo ha dado a luz; y ella es de más valor para ti que siete hijos. |

And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. |
Et Naomi prit l'enfant, et le mit dans son sein, et elle lui tint lieu de nourrice. |

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. |
Et les voisines lui donnèrent un nom, disant : Un fils est né à Naomi ! Et elles l'appelèrent du nom d'Obedf. Ce fut le père d'Isaï, père de David. |

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi. And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David. |
Y le dieron nombre las vecinas, diciendo: Le ha nacido un hijo a Noemí; y lo llamaron Obed. Este es padre de Isaí, padre de David. |
